Software update problem in Nokia C7 . Freeze and D...

I bought my Nokia C7 last March 5, 2011. Last Night, March 9,2011, I downloaded the Nokia Ovi Suite Installer to my Pc and install it to check if there are latest updates for my phone software. And yes there is. What I did was to follow the Instructions on what the Nokia Ovi Suite was sayng. After the Backing up step was done. So the next step is theInstalling part, so (120mb+) files for the installation.. So After Updating the software was finished. My Phone was restarted and I was so freaking upset cuz my phone was Frozen and Only White Screen appeared on my phone. I waited the Hand Icon to show up but it never showed up. I tried to turn it off, but my phone was not responding, so I take off the battery. So I put on again my Phone but same problem. Froze then White Screen..
Any Help?

There's a new SW update available for Nokia C2-02 and Nokiw C2-03: version 7.63. These device models are also sold as C2-06/C2-07/C2-08 on certain regions. Try to reinstall the software of your Nokia C2-02. Using Nokia Suite click on Tools > Software update > Reinstall.
If in case you can't reinstall the software, try doing a master reset. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Restore All.
Note: Create a backup first before doing any kind of reset to avoid deletion of data. If prompted for a lock code, enter 12345 unless you changed it.

I have an iPad2 and have been experiencing problems since the last software update. My iPad randomly freezes and has to be shut down and restarted to move between apps. The screen also suddenly enlarges and can't be reduced in size without shutting down

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same issue of the screen freezing or suddenly enlarging. I'm having to shut down and restart as much as five or six times a day. This has been happening pretty regularly for the past week or more, but seems to be getting worse. Could it be the last software update?

Close all apps in Multi-Task Window.
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

[Software Updates Problem for My Nokia 6131]

Hi Everyone, My name is Wilson And I am from Singapore.I am here to ask about the software updates,which my country do not have support for it.That why i need help for my nokia 6131. Firstly, My nokia 6131 show some problems for E.g "when i type #0000#" it show an "Unknown APPLICATION"
Secondly,I follow the software guide, to no avail. I found out that in my settings > phone > phone updates it show only 2 things --> "Current Software Details and Install Software update".But my handphone version is V03.70.Lastly, i would to request if anyone or staffs would send me the file directly or help me step by step. My Nokia 6131 Version 3.70 but whenever i played a java games it will die out and when i turn on my phone and play the same game it also die out. But all my friends does not have this problems except me =( .Btw there is one game it ask me to "Press any key to continue" When i click any key im stuck there, it doesnt lead me to the welcome page it just hang there ---> "Press any key to continue"Message Edited by takashix on 19-Sep-2006

Nokia x6 software update Problem

Hello. I've got a problem trying to do a software update on my x6. Atm my software version is 20.0.005. In the phone it shows that it got new software to be update .. like 21.00 something. I've tryed everything i could to do that , i red similar poststs that could help me .... bah simply everything ... with reinstaling Ovi suite , repairing USP connectivite cable driver , clearing my phone's hard .... Everything .... nothing helped ... the problem continues going on and on.
SO what i mean is , When i connect my phone to the PC vie USB , everything is great the Suite shows that i got software update , downloads it , does backup. And when it starts to instal , after few seconds it shows "Connection to the phone was lost" i do not do anything ofcourse . After few more seconds "by few i mean like 5" it shows "USB connection is active" and below that in small gray letters "YOu can continue with the software instalation" . When i click the OK button belowe all that , AGAIN after 4-5 seconds shows me that my connection was lost . And that goes over and over and over, no matter what i do .
PS I did try with Nokia Software Updater ... and it doesnt even recognise my phone beeing connected . Just stays on the main page of the program that says to connect my phone and thats it.
So PLEASE help me if someone can .... cause that thing is driving my insane.

I have the same issue on my iPhone 5s
I've closed the app and re-booted the phone several times but it did not resolve the issue.
Upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 did not resolve it either.
Erasing the iPhone and restoring from a backup did not resolve it.
I'm not sure what else to do.

Nokia 5300 software update problem

I don't know why, but I decided to updated Nokia 5300 XpressMusic with the latest software from nokia.com.
I think that this was a mistake,
because after the update (using nokia pc suite, fully charged bateryy and so on...) things have changed.
Now, when i use downloaded from internet themes everything is almost okay, but if the top and bottom skin bars are grey for example on phone's desktop they are always blue, with every skin (except installed by default).
And if I use these new themes the icons are becoming bigged for e second and normal after that (in menu), which makes them ugly
And another thing, after the software update, when I go to menu and choose a category the icons inside the category are becomming a little bigger than before, which makes them ugly again, cause they are not made so big.

I've also noticed that many themes found on the net, have a blue bar top/bottom. I don't know if it's caused by the software version 3.92, I never had any other.
But it's doable to edit these files yourself. You have to download the "Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio" application,

I've done it myself, and it works. I doubt it's a bug of 3.92 software.
About the logos getting bigger and smaller, again, that's probably a characteristic of the theme (you have to know that icon images are defined within the theme, it's more than only setting the background). If you don't like the logos, probably the theme is to blame, not v3.92

Lumia 920 Software Update problems

I have a Nokia Lumia 920 on Orange in UK.
I installed the software update provided by Nokia last weekend - 02/02/2013. Since then I have only experienced issues.
Since the update my signal has been intermittant. For every 10 seconds i have signal, I go 30 minutes without. A no entry sign appears over the signal. I have checked with Orange and run numerous diagnostics over the phone and in store with Orange, the coverage from the netwrok is fine.
Tried a soft and hard reset with no improvement!! The hard reset almost stopped the phone working completely, getting stuck on the gears rotating for 5 hours.
Any ideas? Seems to have been caused by the software update!? Phone also completely blacked out and required soft restart to begin yesterday.
I want a normal phone back, nothing but problems with this 920, especially since the update?
How can i get a clear signal again, and off this forum to catch some much needed daylight!

I run Windows 7 and the newest version (10.6) of iTunes will not install. The installer won't even begin, and when I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature.

When I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature and will not be downloaded. When I DL iTunes64setup.exe, the program will not start (there's a bar that flashes but nothing actually begins). I've done everything short of reinstalling Windows to fix this (system resore, unistalling all Apple products, taking down firewall, running Windows FixIt - which either won't find the problem or gives me an error saying that the troubleshooter cannot be downloaded at this time, going into the security features to allow programs without valid signatures, trying to install earlier versions of iTunes). It all started when I downloaded the Decemberists new album on my iPhone, and it wasn't downloading it properly so I connected it to my Dell, but some songs still wouldn't DL - also, the newest OS for my iPhone still won't install via WiFi - and so I uninstalled iTunes first, but nothing is helping. And I don't have any security issues (Norton has checked). Any ideas? I'm at my wit's end after 3 days of this. Thank you.

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

Slight Software Update problem

I’m having a slight problem with Software Update lately. More of an annoyance really. When I periodically check to see if anything is available I usually download whatever is there for later manual installation but when I see something I don’t want, such as today's Remote Desktop Client Update 3.2.2, I’ll click the Update menu and select Ignore Update to prevent getting reminders for it. Lately, however, that option is not working for me because the unwanted updates continue to appear in the list whenever I run Software Update. Is it just me and my system or is anyone else noticing this?

I just put it on the ignore list and reran software update and it did not show up.
I then selected to show ignored updates and the software update reran and showed it.
So, at least for me, the ignore function is working properly.
You might create a new account and see if the problem is associated with your current user or a system issue.

Software Update problem - screen remains gray

Just ran Software Update on my Mac Book Pro and now have had a gray screen for about 20 minutes. Before updating, there was a warning that the update will cause the screen to go gray and not to interrupt, and also that I need to be connected to AC power to run this update. Now it appears to be simply idling and a worrisome amount of time has passed. Anyone else have this problem? I'm tempted to try a restart but don't want to screw up the update (or worse). Thanks!

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility.
