Software upgrade link broken

I'm re-authoring an old project and need to update an old (version 1.5) DVD Studio Pro to 1.5.2
Problem is, the download link on the Apple site is broken:

Can someone from Apple look into this and fix the broken link?

There's no one from Apple here, just users like yourself.
Have you tried using the Software Update function from the Apple menu at the top left of your screen instead?
It's always fetched me all the updates I ever needed.

    before we start YES I have updated to both ipod touch software 1.1.3. AND to itunes 7.6!
    I plug in my iPod, open iTunes, and go to the iTunes store. I click on the "January software upgrade" link on the store's homepage, and it takes me to a white page with pictures of iPod touch, descriptions of the new apps and features, icons for them, and a list of system requirements. A message in red text says "Connect iPod touch and click 'check for updates' before installing the January software upgrade". Umm but I already did! Also, at the bottom of the page of the left and right sides of the page are buttons saying "no thanks" and "remind me later" respectively.
    There is no option anywhere on the page to purchase the upgrade. What gives?

    I seem to be having the same problem as others. I have purchased the software but cannot get any further. It will not appear in the purchased box under store. I have spoken to Apple and they were no help whatsoever. I am getting really hacked off. Would you walk into a shop buy something and then be told sorry you cannot have it, email us and tell us what your problem is. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE PURCHASED SOMETHING AND I CANNOT HAVE IT..........     Assuming you are running OS X 10.6.6 or later (10.7.x Lion, 10.8.x Mountain Lion or 10.9.x Mavericks), go to the Apple Menu (top left-hand corner of the screen)>App Store and it should become clear from there.

    Agreed. I have a couple thousand forms in my system. No sooner did I get through many of them after ugrading to CC, Adobe upgraded again. It begins all over again. [sigh]

  • Why is there an upgrade link on my adobe cloud page when I already have a full membership?

    When I log into my adobe cloud, at the top left side of the window it has three links.  One is "files", one is "Apps" and one in red "UPGRADE".  I have a full membership for at least 6 more months, and although I have the introductary price, I purchased it with the understanding that this was a full membership.  Can Adobe remove this link?  It really seams to distract me when I think I'm not getting a full version of software, and like today have wasted some valuable working time simply on trying to find out how to contact Adobe without speaking to someone for an hour.
    Oh yes, and also when I click on APP to upgrade,(lets say, as in today, Literoom)  the two links under each software icon now says "try" or "learnmore".  (Although it seems like I have full versions of software downloaded.)  I could have sworn at one time it was "download" and "learnmore".
    If I'm not getting my full version software then this cloud stuff is for the birds and it's not going to work for us faithful Adobe consummers.

    I have confirmed you have a paid membership. You are getting the full version of all the software included.
    What happens if you sign out, clear the cache and cookies in browser, restart the browser and sign back in? Do you still see the Upgrade link?

  • All files and more lost with software upgrade

    hello
    my in-laws called me in a panic yesterday. they used the software upgrade to install 10.5.2 and could not find their entourage mail program anymore, it was gone, so were all the files in their document folder. i connected through ichat to their computer (had to set up the accounts again, as the old ones were lost) and yes, it is all gone, though documents they saved in the applications folder are still there.
    i called tech support for them and was told that programs that are left open during installation will be deleted. isn't it impossible to continue installation until programs are quit? why would all their files be gone from the document folder? also gone were their ichat ids and safari bookmarks. it felt like an erase and install but all they did was the software install which i assume is a default installation?
    no, no back ups for them. they just recently acquired this computer on our recommendation that they would have less trouble with a mac than a pc with vista. but now this.
    they will be talking with tech support soon, but i have little faith in them, so i am asking here. what could have happened?

    See my FAQ* on backing up as to other possible recovery strategies, and make sure everyone knows never, ever install an update without backing up first. Regardless of the cause, data will eventually get lost, and updates are often the most frequent events where they happen as they change the system much like changing the guts of an automobile.

  • 3502I access point unsuccessful software upgrade

    Hi all. I have a trouble with AIR-CAP3502I-R-K9 AP and I want to ask help.
    I tried to upgrade IOS software in ap because it was connecting  and disconnecting to controller too often. I already upgraded one of two  access point and it working stable at this time, but the second one  not.
    I tried to make software upgrade:

  • Can't Get January Software Upgrades

    Ok so I just bought this iPod Touch from my cousin a few days ago. I wanted to get the software upgrades but I don't know how.
    I went to http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ and clicked on the icon on the bottom left that states "Have an iPod Touch without the new software? Five new applications for just $19.99. Get the January Software Upgrade."
    It then opened up my iTunes and went to some iPod touch January Software Upgrade page.
    There is no "Buy Now" button just a button on the bottom right saying "OK" but it doesn't do anything...
    I have the latest iTunes and software version 1.1.4

  • Problems with contacts getting deleted after software upgrade!

    Somehow, my IPhone 4s had a software upgrade, and it DELETED contacts.  Anyone else have a problem with this????  UGH!
    I had a thunderbolt before my IPhone, and my contacts were saved to the verizon back up assistant.  They are now nowhere to be found!

    If you were already using iOS 5 where you using the iCloud feature to back up your device? If so, you should be able to retrieve your contacts. If you just upgraded to iOS 5 where you backing up your device on your computer via iTunes? You were advised to complete a backup prior to proceeding with the software update...if you did so then a copy of your back up should be available in iTunes. Try looking at the following link to see if it helps:

    If you did not do a backup and you were not using iCloud to do backups then you would need re-sync your contacts from another source...did you use a contact manager on your computer (such as Outlook)? If you did then you can retrieve your contacts from there. Try looking at this link to see if it helps. If it is not the correct one you can do a search on that site to find the article that better fits your needs.

  • Down-loading software upgrades is being limited by "server timed out"

    My broadband connection is of modest speed as I live many miles from the Telephone Exchange. When I attempt to download Apple software upgrades, say of 50 mb, I get cut off after about 12 mb with a message" sever timed out code -1001". When I make a second attempt, I have to start again "at the beginning" rather than continue at the point where the last attempt failed.
    Grateful for any advice (apart from being told to move house nearer the Telephone Exchange!) I am only just computer literate.

    Now, if you have already upgraded and downgraded the software, and tried battery pulls. The only problem that i can think of for browser time out's could be with the service books.

    Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac.  If it says iMac G5, you are at the max you can go. If it says iMac Intel CoreDuo and has at least 1 GB of RAM, you can go up to 10.6.8 with stedman's link, but the static version of that link is:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A If it says iMac Intel Core2Duo and has at least 2 GB of RAM you can go up to 10.7, but need to get the above DVD, and upgrade to 10.6.6 or later to get the App Store, and then finally download 10.7.  A USB flash drive version of 10.7 should be out later this month, and it is unknown if it will allow you to skip 10.6 or not.   • Torch lockup on downloadin​g software upgrade

    I tried downloading a software upgrade a few hours ago using my laptop and Blackberry Desktop Manager. The download froze part way through and now I'm unable to connect the phone to the laptop & all the phone will do is display the Blackberry platform 5.1.532 menu and an error message: uncaught exception net. rim device.api. i18n. missing resource exception.
    Not sure where to go from here. Any ideas? Since I can't get past the menu list on the phone screen I can't do anything via the phone & since the laptop won't conect with / recognise the phone I can't try reinstalling via Descktop Manager.

    I'm not quite clear what happened...the download is one step, followed by installation to the PC, followed finally by installation to the BB. You only said "download", but the subsequent things you said don't correlate with the actual download being where it got stuck. So I'm a little bit lost. So I think perhaps you should start over.
    The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
    1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
    2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
    3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:

    It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
    5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
    6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
    6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

    Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
    If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
    You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.
    You may also want to try the "Bare Bones OS Reload Procedure" to attempt to narrow down the precise causal item:
    Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
    If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
    If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
    Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
    If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
    Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents
    When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
    If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
    If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.
    You may also need the use of these tricks:
