Software windows blink since software upgrade. Anyone help?
M macbook has started to blink but only on software windows. This started today after a software update.
If you watch a full screen video etc then the dock at the bottom of the screen periodically blinks.
can ayone hlep?

I am getting no signal to my dj mixer using m-audio firewire audiophile sound card connected to my mac book pro using Traktor Dj software can anyone help?
The firewire port reads the dj software and I can hear music playing through the sound card when I plug my headphones into it but there is no signal to the hardware (my dj mixer).
I have reset the firewire by turning off my mac book pro for a few hours and can see the sound card device in the fire wire section after clicking on the apple icon on the top left corner of my mac.
My dj mixer works on another mac computer with the same soundcard and different firewire cable.

yes, it could be due to nearly anything listed in your kernel extensions, startup items, launch daemons, launch agents, or user items above. Please check all of your installed third-party software to make sure that the versions which are installed on your MacBook Pro are compatible with Mavericks; uninstall every software package which isn’t Mavericks-compatible. After you’ve done that, boot into Safe mode, and see if you still get the beach ball of doom there. If it doesn’t appear there, restart normally and see if it appears then. -

My hotspot won't connect my PC to the internet since I upgraded the op sys on the 4s iphone. The PC sees that hotspot but won't connect. The op sys on the PC is windows 7 ultimate. Can anyone tell me what to do please?
Glad to hear it is all straightened out. You are right about the upgrade cost. That is one reason why Adobe switched to monthly licensing—no more upgrade cost <g, r, & d>. Of course we do have nearly monthly product upgrades. It is almost like playing whack a mole.

I've detected an echo when using skype software. This occurs through the computer of the person I'm speaking to, so that when they speak, an echo comes back to them half a second later. I'm wondering if the speakers and microphone on my laptop are located too close together and the microphone is retransmitting sound from the speakers? My laptop is an HP mini 110.
Is there anything I can alter through my audio settings to stop this happening?
Any advice is appreciated!I have a Mini 110 that performs beautifully with Skype (no echo, etc). I have two other HP systems that don't do anywhere near as well. I did tweak the graphics card on mine, which tremendously improved the video. However...we are talking sound here, so I'll list the settings on my 110 for you to compare to yours:
I'm sure you already know how to find the settings, but...in Skype, do Tools>Audio Settings
Microphone: set at about 45% with Automatically adjust microphone settings checked
Speakers: set at about 75% with Automatically adjust speaker settings checked

itunes has gone from working fine to not opening overnight! When I click on the icon I get 2 messages: MSVCR80.dll is missing and then windows error 126. Can anyone suggest a remedy?

It sounds like you are unable to launch iTunes due to this error message. I recommend removing iTunes with the following article to get iTunes AND its associated programs uninstalled:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

When that is done, download and install iTunes from this page:

I can't find the download window anymore since I upgraded to Mountain Lion
I used to be able to see the progress of all my download in its own widow and now that does't pop up anymore since the upgrade. I really liked that feature and want it back. Is there anyway to get that back?

I can not move my itunes music to my windows 8 computer. Can anyone help me? Please
I am having a issue with my new computer, it has windows 8 is not allowing me to down load my iTunes music on to it. iTunes message says I need to authorize my computer. I am not sure how to do this can anyone HELP me?
click on the store tab on the top left of iTunes. Scroll to where it says "Authorize this computer...". Click on that and enter your apple id and password then click authorize. The reason iTunes says that your computer needs to be authorized is because it is to be sure that iTunes knows can trust your new computer

Since i upgraded to yosemite, my HP laserjet 3050 printer no longer working. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still not working. Any suggestions?
Have you checked the HP web site for driver updates?
If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.

Downloaded 10.5 iTunes and when I put in an audio book to import into iTunes as soon as I begin typing book info notice appears that iTunes has stopped working and windows 7 closes iTunes. Anyone else have this problem? I hate that you have no way to contact these people and report problems. I tried the old feedback but that didn't get anywhere. Please, I've got several audio books to load and I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks

IPhone "crashed" after 7.7 iTunes & 2.0 Software Upgrade ;-( Please HELP!!
Ok - well I just upgraded my iTunes last night to 7.7 so that I could upgrade my iPhone software to 2.0 (fortunately I synced my iPhone prior to doing this). So after the 2.0 upgrade, my iPhone is trying to sync and then it gives me an error (Unknown error detected (6)) and now my phone is "locked" with a picture of the iTunes icon and one of the piece that plugs into the bottom suggesting I plug it into iTunes. I tried doing restart/reset/restore - it still comes back to those images. I called AppleCare yesterday & was on the phone for an hour. We tried to restore 3 times with no luck, so I uninstalled & re-installed all the iTunes programs and tried to restore again - NO LUCK. I called back today (which is what the tech suggested I do if it would not restore last night) and the tech today states it is a problem with my anti-virus - disable it, sync, then turn my anti-virus back on.... STILL NOT WORKING!! ANY SUGGESTIONS/IDEAS/HELP???
Ok - well after three calls to the iPhone support line, I have resolved my issue... I tried:
- restore/reset/restart
- uninstall/re-install of iTunes & associated programs
- created a now "account" on computer & loaded iTunes
for me - none of the above worked....
So I thought, before I set up an appointment with the Apple Genius' I am going to install iTunes on another computer in my home and try to get my iPhone out of recovery mode. IT WORKED!! I have now started re-syncing my iPhone with my original computer & it seems to be working fine! Hope this helps you too! -

I finally upgraded my husband's iPhone to the newest software version and now his pictures are gone. It still shows on iTunes that they are there, but they are not showing up on his phone. Help!
While your husband's iPhone is attached to your computer and iTunes, click on the iPhone's icon on the left side, and then click on the "Photos" heading near the top right of the main display. Under there, you'll see the "Sync Photos From" followed by all the information you should complete for a successful transition.
Once all that is complete, click the "Apply" button near the bottom to make your changes happen.
