Softwares lost after reinstalling firmware

Hi,
I had strange problems with my Nokia E52 phone so I decided to reinstall the firmware. (The main problem was when I had an incoming call and pressed the call button the phone restarted) In the firmware reinstall guide I read that the best way to do is to make a hard reset before reinstalling the firmware. So I did it and after the reinstallation I couldn't find Advanced Call Manager, Solitarie and Block Cascade Fusion on my phone. How can I reinstall these applications?

I know you can get Advanced Call Manager from store.ovi.com but don't know about the other 2.
Have you tries restoring your backup?

Since they are the ones who advised you to delete then reinstall the app, then you need to contact them again regarding the magazines and newspapers.

Second disk lost after video firmware update...

After updating the firmware on the Radeon X1900, my second disk disappeared from desktop. System Profiler and the Disk Utility show the drive, but cannot see it anywhere else.

OK, so I just called tech support and their final conclusion is to reformat the drive. That's it! No answers, explanation.
You know? To me, Apple is starting to look more like a mediocre hardware company and a sound as arrogant as Microsoft.

Serial lost after reinstall

Hi!
After having installed Adobe reader 11 , Acrobat 10.1.1 did not launch any more. So i deinstalled and reinstalled, but the serial is gone now.Acrobat is part of Master Collection CS6 and i tried reinstall as part of MasterCollection. ( but not full reinstall of MasterCollection CS6 ).
Any idea what i should do?
I bought CS6 as download,so i just got a serial for the whole package.

Hi G2,
When you use the installation wizard for Master collection Cs 6.0 you can choose only Acrobat only. And you have to use the same serial number which you have used for other applications of Suite.
If you have purchased Master collection as Electronic download directly from Adobe .

OEM software lost after fresh install?

First of all - thanks to the whole community for the help I've gotten by simply browsing these forums.
Now, to my problem: My Powerbook had 10.3 installed when I got it, including OEM software like Omni Outliner and some image viewer I can't remember the name of(*), both of which I loved.
(* edit: I think GraphicConverter, but am not sure where I got it from)
Two weeks ago my hard drive gave up, and I now have a new one installed. I then installed 10.4. Now I'd love to get the Outliner and the other apps back, but am clueless as to where I could get them from.

Thanks for the pointer; I found the versions of iMovie and iPhoto that came with the PB with this method. The other programs I was looking for are still nowhere to be found, but I've decided my time is worth something and bought new licences for the ones I really used.

Yesterday I got back home and turned on my macbook pro and it was being stuck at the grey apple booting part! I read the instruction on the Catelog that came along the Macbook and followed the instructions and opened the Mac OS X Utilities I had to erase the drive and I didnt have any clue how to back up from the Mac OS X utilities pane as I wasnt allowed to enter my user or go further that part! So I erased and repaired the drive and I am now Reinstalling my Mac OS X Lion but when I was selecting which disk would I like to reinstall I saw my disk that contains all my photos,songs,videos etc. (called Recovery HD) but when I wanted to select it they wouldn't allow me as it says " this disk is locked" on it. Is there any way to unlock and take back my data or any way to recover what I've had ?! I really need some help .. Please help!

Good that you can boot from your recovery disks and see your data and kudos for having a current backup. You need to get the internal drive to be healthy so you can boot from it.
With your recovery disk booted use Disk Utility to examine your internal drive. Does the S.M.A.R.T. status say "Verified" or some other status? If it is not "Verified" stop and post back. If it is "Verified" click on "Macintosh HD" (or an alternative name for your system drive) and do a Disk Repair. Does it repair successfully?
Follow the instruction at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570 and see if that fixes the problem. If you get to the part about erasing and resintalling post back before you do that.

Troubleshooting after reinstalling the software that came with my macbook

Hi, I'm a new user of mac products and my macbook crashed refusing to start up (it would just turn on and keep loading till froze).
I followed exactly the steps "Problem meet solution" in the little manual and had to use the Mac OS X Install Disk 1.
The disk utility repaired the HD volume (error found: incorrect block count for file flatfile.db - should have been 708 instead of 354), then still couldn't start up on HD. Did it all over again, repaired HD again (this time error: incorrect block count for file .store.db - should have been 5202 instead of 2601), but this time went further selecting "continue" and reinstalling Mac OS X from the discs that came with my macbook. Reinstalled - successfully finally - by chosing the option "previous settings archived in new file".
The only problem i had was at login ... it would not recognize my user password... which was the same one since i first turn on my new bought macbook. Anyways, i used again the disc 1, selected change my password and this time i managed to sign in with the new one (same old user).
1)NOW, question: do i have to re-update my software? Because before I had Mac OS X 10.5.2 (i always kept my computer up to date) and now, after reinstalling the software I have Mac OS X 10.5
or i should be able to reactivate them from the Previous Systems file (in this case how do i do that?
2) Can't figure still out my master password that unlocks the file vault plus i can't activate again the root admin user from Directory Utility ... i click it but doesn't do anything. Why is this and how can be sorted out?

1) yes, i will take all the updates. and ok, i won't touch the previous systems file
2) in regards to master password ... i tried all the passwords i ever used. not sure it's just "forgetting". Reason: as I mentioned before: The only problem i had after reinstalling the software was at login ... it would not recognize my user password... (and I add, nor the master password) which was the same one since i first turn on my new bought macbook.
As i couldn't sign in, used again the disc 1 to reset my administrator password and it did save but with the notice that i should "use the keychain access to reset the password for users login" .This time i managed to sign in with the new one (same old user). Then I went to the keychain clicked login and changed the password for keychain login. Did i do good? do I have to change something else. please let me know as don't really know.... i just follow help advice.
3)in regards to root password ... i had it also before ... using help on "security" issue ... as i connect to different networks ... i read that one could help ... please understand that i'm learning as i go, as this time i don't have someone else to do those things for me. so why doesn't it activate anymore? and why would it be better not to activate it?
4)speaking of learning, from my initial post where i posted the errors that my disk utility found ... what do u think caused my computer to freeze? i was browsing on safari facebook as well as I had both yahoo messenger and skype opened... first the messenger froze, then crushed, then i restarted it , then froze, then all the rest froze, without responding to force quit.
5) after reinstalling the software, i still have yahoo messenger and other applications.... is that safe to use now? they are still in my applications
and last 6) did I do everything correct when my computer would not start up?

The first thing I'd suggest is to get a good antispyware checker and give it a go at your system. Some recent spyware has been reported by other users to shut down iTunes or prevent it from launching. From user reports, Ewido seems to be the best at catching it. You can download a free version of Ewido here.
If that doesn't cure the problem, try deleting the iTunes preference files:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
and
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Data\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
You might have to turn on "show hidden files" to find them. (Right click "my computer", select open, select Tools menu -> Folder Options. Select View tab, "show hidden files" radio button is in the center scrolling panel.) Delete them or if you want to be able to put them back if it doesn't help, drag them to some other location. This will force iTunes to run the setup assistant the next time you launch iTunes. Note that you'll have to go back and set any preferences you've changed from the default.
If that still doesn't work, try this:

Not sure of an answer to your basic question, but it may be that you can run a repair (on Windows --> Control Panel>Programs & Features and run the repair on Acrobat). If that fixes the issue, at least temporarily, at least you will not be reinstalling everything -- a real pain.
Next, open Acrobat and go to the Help to run the updates and be sure you are current. On some OSs, the updates are critical.

their extensions are .Ipa you can try doing a search on your harddisk
unless you formattet it when you reinstalled
but an app can only ever be bought 1 times on an appleID so if you try to buy them again it will give you a free download of the app and not charge you
about sync then if you connect the ipad and click info tab and set it to sync your outlook data it should sync without any problems

Can't activate my Network Magic software after reinstalling

After a clean installation of Windows 8 Pro I've installed my Network Magic software. After the setup I've tried to activate my legal version but it won't accept a connection to register and to activate. I've found out that Cisco no longer supports Net Magic so activation is no longer possible in The Netherlands. Cisco says that there is no other replacement network tool from Cisco for my WRT 320N and other Cisco devices. Is there any possibility to activate my software of Network Magic on a other way (in the USA or in the register of Windows or Network Magic)? Thx Martin

One possible reason why the software can't be installed is because of the firewall on your computer or an antivirus software. Try to turn the firewall off or disable your antivirus software temporarily and activate Network Magic again.

Lost Playlists After Reinstalling iTunes

My QuickTime disappeared so I reinstalled online. I copied a folder "iTunes Music Library.xml" to my desktop. After reinstalling QuickTime, which also defaulted to iTunes download, I opened the program and my saved songs are gone. I tried opening the .xml folder with iTunes program but only text appears and no songs. Is there any way to restore my previously saved songs. Thank you.
