Sol9 / bootrc error

Hi,
Me again. You remember, I have had the "can't find /etc/bootrc" after installing from cd 1 and rebooting. I checked the install scripts. And have found that SUNWos86r has problems by bunzip2-ing the sdconf file. For me it looks like there was a problem with the cd's. I am not sure, because I can boot and partially install the OS.
I also ignored the following error on the install configuration screen:
CHANGE DEFAULT BOOT DEVICE
It would be better to get the output of the configuration script, than explain that there is a problem with the boot device. The problem ISN'T the boot device. The problem is somewhere else.
I burned the CD's with WinOnCD as raw images. I have done this also with the sparc version without any problems.
As I read before, there are a lot of trouble with the burnable images. If the customers have so much problem with the kind of distribution, Sun should check the distribution channel.
Anyway ... I will let you know, after I got the CD's from Sun if all works fine.

Hmm, maybe the ISO images got corrupted while unpacking them or burning
them on the windows box? Maybe they got corrupted during download and
your unzip program didn't notice the problem?
