Solaris 10 no longer responding to XDMCP Query after firefox crash

Hello all,
I have been using exceed to get a graphical desktop environment on my m4000 to do an installation that requires a graphical environment to install. However, when I launched my firefox browser it crashed my graphical x session and ever since I have not been able to access my server that way. Whenever I launch the XDMCP query from my Windows box like usual it just sits there and gets no response from the M4000. This is a crucial thing because the software i am trying to get working on the machine only has a GUI installer. Does anyone have any idea what may be the issue?? Any help is greatly appreciated....thank you in advance.

I'm getting a lot crashes. I have asked for help when it crashes but never heard any thing back. So the question is what good are the crash reports when no one reads them?

We don't respond to every individual crash report that comes in, but we do look at them, and track trends and and use the crashes to help fix future versions of Firefox. Are you having a specific crash? If you would like help resolving it feel free to give us the crash ID :)

When using Safari I have begun to notice this box appearing as I try to reach any website: "Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage and then it lists what ever web page I have tried to reach. It then asks me if I want to "stop" the script or allow it to continue. I must "continue" it in order to reach my web page/ If I press "stop" it just keeps coming back and back and I can't continue. I had this hotmail issue myself a while back. I Googled, scanned MS website, scanned MSN website, visited forums, couldn't figure it out. I tried Firefox and Opera and even changed the Opera mask setting from Opera to Internet Explorer. Nothing worked. My best guess was that I was signing on (with the new MSN Live as opposed to MSN Hotmail - the OLD interface) with the "Remember me on this computer?" box checked. I now make sure it is un-checked (which is not the default) and hotmail lets me in.
Not exactly sure if that is the real remedy, but thot I'd throw the story your way just in case...

My iphone 4 is no longer responding to swipes

My iphone 4 is no longer responding to swipes, but it also won't receive calls or receives pings from Icloud. However it is recognized and can be synced to Itunes. I just can't access my phone anyone have any idea what the problem is? I restored it with a fresh restore, can't get it to swipe. I call it, it is unreachable. I thought it was the digitizer, but i feel like the digitizer wouldn't disable it from receiving calls. Any help would be appreciated it, was trying to hold out on this phone before i got a new phone.

PIX-515E - Reason 412: the remote peer is no longer responding...

I am unable to VPN to my network from outside using cisco VPN client to PIX-515E.
When I try it say:

From inside everything work ok, I can connect... (same computer, same settings...)
Maybe the problem is not in PIX??

as usual I cause the problem instead of 8 i wrote 3... i was checking that IP address several time but didn't see
now when I was preparing to put running config online and replacing ip address ... something jump into my eye....

Screen Sharing No Longer Responds from Master Machine

For a long time, I have used screen sharing from my iMac to control my Mac Mini on the TV. Now, I can connect to screen sharing but the Mac Mini no longer responds to any commands from the iMac.
Another factor that may have contributed to this:
I use Hippo Remote to control the Mac Mini as my home theatre PC. This also has worked fine for a long time. Now, however, it can hardly get a connection anymore and when it does, I have no control over the Mac Mini any more. I've emailed their tech support but with little result.
The only other thing I know of is that I'm running two video server clients on my iMac to provide remote access to video files via my iPhone or iPad. I don't think those should interfere with the Mac Mini though.
Has anyone else run into this? Know of any solutions?
I've tried reboots, turning off the Hippo Remote VNC server on the Mac Mini, and other servers but nothing is getting me what I used to have.

On a Specific day there was a problem with the SNATMAP server and everyone had issues with iChat Video and Audio chats.
The Original Poster did not seem to make it to the other threads at the same time.
I informed him that there had been a issue and that it seemed sorted for most people and asked if he still had an issue.
On the basis he said he was working - the problem and cause of that problem have been dealt with.
At which point do you not get that, in this thread, the issue discussed is sorted for the original poster and that you should move on ?

An External event (SNATMAP Down) to all parties caused the problem he had and a second External event (SNATMAP up) solved it.
AS SNATMAP has not fallen over recently you have another problem and it is not related to this one.

ITunes no longer responds... Please help!

Since I updated the latest version of iTunes, it no longer responds... I open it up and it'll just have an open window on the bottom of the screen. But not only does it only give me the option to close when I right click the window, after I close it says "iTunes is not responding..." My iPod seems fine it charges up and plays normally, but not iTunes since I updated it.
I tried to download it again, but it asked if I wanted to repair files or remove iTunes. I chose repair and it went according to plan, but no change. PLEASE help!

I googled on "Windows Installer Service could not be accessed" and the one I posted was the top hit. There were others from the Microsoft website - it sure seems like a WIndows problem, and not necessarily an iTunes problem.

About 7/16 of an inch of my screen for my Iphone 4 no longer responds ever since the new update

Ever since the iOS 7 update about 7/16 of an inch on my screen no longer works meaning if i where typing in safari an hit the globe button that changes the keyboard to what ever you have on your list (for example Emoji) i would end up having to back out of certain apps or have to turn my phone sideways to type key board style in order to even change the keyboard back to english that as well as all my buttons with in the 7/16 range no longer respond so if i wanted to delete an app i would need to drag it into an app folder and then move away from the 7/16 zone in order to delete it i have never had this problem until the update and although minor it is annoying. If anyone has any ideas on what is causing this to happen or a solution other then upgrading due my 2yr contract with At&t is still on going until next year.

I think the problem is that the iPod got set to Manually manage music and videos. It needs to be set up for automatic syncing again. Just unchecking that Manually manage music and videos setting does not do it.
In iTunes 12, select the iPod in iTunes (using the device button), so that you see the iPod's "management" screen. In the sidebar (along left side of screen), there are two headings (Settings and On My Device). Under Settings, click on Music. To the right, you see the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box at the top for Sync Music. That turns ON automatic syncing for music. Below that, choose the option to sync Entire music library (assuming your music library fits completely on your iPod). Otherwise, you can choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and make your selections below. Then click Apply.

Music player no longer responds on my iPod

I have an iPod Youch 3th gen. Since I upgraded to the latest iOS 5.1 my music player (the standard Apple one) no longer responds on my iPod. I get a blank screen for a couple of seconds and then quits. Synching with iTunes appears to work fine. The songs are still on my iPod (I can find them through searching in the generic search) but when clicking on them to play them, I get the same results as described above.
All other apps work fine.
Can anyone help ?

Try:
- Unsyncing and resyncing all the music
- Reset the iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

Query designer takes too long to save a query

Hi dear SDN friends.
I´m working with query designer in BI 7 and sometimes it takes too long to save a query, about ten minutes. Sometimes it never ends saving and some other times it saves the same query in 1 minute.
Can anybody please give an advice about this behavior of the query designer?

I would suggest testing this again in the latest Frontend Patch available (FEP 602). In FEPs 600, 601, & 602 there were some performance and stability improvements made which may correct your issue. If the issue persists, I would suggest then opening a Customer Message via Service Marketplace.

After a recent software update I opened iphoto and was asked if I would like my photos geographic location used for mapping where photos were taken, I answered no and now Iphoto no longer responds and freezes all computer functions. Unable to force quite application. What can I do?

Long-Term Trends of Query and Statistcs - BI Application Type

HI all,
There is a query to read the statistical data as to how many times a query has been executed, and how long has each query taken while its run for a specific time period. The name of this query is Long Term Trends of Query and statistics, 0TCT_MC01_Q0424. After making a bit of modification in this query, I added a key figure that says Count (To give u the count of the number of times this BI application object has been run).
In this query, there is a navigational attribute called BI Application Type, its values are XLWB, TMPL and # (Not Assigned). XLWB would be for queries or workbooks that have been run, TMPL would be for templates but what is the # for.
I ran this query for a day. The result showed that there is another query which has been run almost 88 times today, however, when I drill down on BI application type, I find that XLWB count is 5 while # count is 83. I want to know what is this #.
