Solaris 10 recognizes only 18GB out of 73 GB disk

Since this is my first post here, and also, my first official interaction with the solaris community, let me say hello to everyone.. I hope that i will enjoy my stay here :-)
I hope that this question has not been answered here before (although i did find this post, which seamed to deal with a problem similar to mine: http://forum.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=271&threadID=23722)
I am trying to install Solaris 10 on a Sun v20z AMD64 server. I have two 73GB SCSI disks inside the machine, (LSI logic controller), and i want to install Solaris 10 on one of them, and then put them into a mirror. So far i am stuck at the installation with the problem described in the topic.
The Solaris installer keeps telling me, that the disks are only 18,3GB in size, but they are 73GB in size. Could anyone point me where there could be a problem? I have successfully installed the newest bios and SP on the machine before i started normal intallation...

Hmm, if i recall correctly Solaris saves a certain amount of the root filesystem (and possibly other filesystems) for the root-user, this is made in order to prevent normal users from filling up important filesystems.
I suspect that the root-user still can write to the filesystem, but non-root users cant, right?
I think you can change this behaviour via the 'tunefs' command.
(You can tune a filesystem, but you can't tune a fish).

As part of the locking down of our system we are doing the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and one of the questions it asks is "The DBMS must recognize only system-generated session identifiers."
I have looked at the STIG version for SQL Server 2012 and this is not a finding on it, since it supports the requirement and cannot be configured out of compliance.
If anyone can help confirm that this is also the case with SQL Server 2008 R2 that would be very helpful.

From your description, do you mean the session_id from DMV sys.dm_exec_sessions? If so, the session_id(s) are all created and handled by SQL Server. When session_id <= 50 , it belongs to a system session, and when session_id > 50, it belongs to a user
session.

It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over.

Why is my preview area showing only greyed out boxes instead of photos?

I am unable to import my photos so they can be seen. Whether I try to import them from the hard drive, camera card, or my desktop (following the tutorial), I do not see photographs in the preview area, only greyed out boxes instead of photos. If I imported 6 photos, I have six greyed out (photo-sized) boxes. The specific photos are there somehow, becuase they are properly named when I scroll the mouse over them, but I see only flat grey, no pictures. As I said, this happens even when I follow the tutorial and import from my desktop.

I appreciate you responding to my inquiry. We (that would be the "royal" we, which would be my husband) finally determined that the monitor was not configured properly. "We" discovered this out after uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom several times.
To answer your question, I was trying to import both photos taken in JPEG, as well as RAW, both were problematic. I could import no images. It was interesting that I could tell all of the data was coming over (when I floated the cursor over a grayed-out box I could read the data), just not the images.
I have a Nikon D5100. I purchased Lightroom 5.0 just before now(two days ago), and was trying to install and play with it. I upgraded to 5.2 as I was going into it for the first time (it is an automatic question). I knew there was obviously a problem when I couldn't see any images. Particularly when I went into the tutorials -- it just reemphasized that something was wrong. Who ever thinks of how their monitor is configured?????

I have not tried that...I will look up the process so that I can do it correctly (and still transfer all of my files, contacts, etc). Any suggestions? What is the advantage of restoring as a new device..is this more akin to a complete wipe of a hard drive?

Great, now headphone jack no longer works, volume only comes out of speaker

This phone is so frustrating. This past weekend, the sleep/wake button wouldn't work for a whole afternoon but started working fine afterwards. All of a sudden this evening, I can no longer use any headphones to listen to my music. Regardless of what earphones I plug in, the sound only comes out of the speaker for some strange reason. Has anyone else had this problem? I just finished buying protective screens for the crazy thing and now this happens.

I had a problem like that. I fixed it by going to settings -> general -> reset -> reset all settings. If that does not work, then you may need to visit the Apple Store and talk to a genius. They will most likely replace your iPhone.

When downloading a large PDF file, firefox stops after some of file and hangs up. Only way out is to close browser or power down. Internet explorer will complete download of same PDF file.

For example, go to irs.gov and try to download 1040 instructions as a PDF file. Firefox hangs up after part of the file is downloaded, but will not complete the download. The only way out is to close the browser (Firefox). Sometimes the only way out is to power down computer and reboot. I'm running Windows XP Professional. My computer has plenty of memory and disc space, so that is not the problem. When I use Internet Explorer (UGH!) it takes a while, but the very same pdf file will completely download.

With a single user license, you can install Acrobat on maximum two computers, say, your laptop at work and desktop at office.
But, you cannot use Acrobat on both the machines simultaneously.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine, then install and activate the software on the new OS with the same serial key.

I have had similar issues backing up to iCloud. Thy only thing I have found to work every time is backing up to iTunes and then doing a restore to my new device. That includes iPhone 6.

Sounds like the micro switch inside the output jack that switches the audio from internal to external is stuck on external. Try plugging a set of buds, headphones or digital Toslink adapter in and out a few times to see if it will unstick the micro switch. You also might try jiggling a tooth pick around inside the audio output jack to see if that unsticks it? If not then you'll need to make an appointment at your Local Apple Store or Apple Service Provider and have the jack serviced.

It is very possible there is some type of dirt/debris in the headphone port. Check that area. Also, try unplugging and replugging the headphones, or wiggling them around gently in the port. Does that change things? Do you have a case on the phone? Is the headphone jack fully seated in the port?

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

Music only coming out of right earphone

Just got a new ipod nano. Used to work great but recently I can only hear music out of the right earphone. Switching headphones did not help. Any suggestions.

me 3 on the problem but music only comes out of the LEFT earphone.. idk if there is a difference or not
but i was using the earphones that the ipod comes with and they started to get pretty destroyed and the wires were showing by the jack and then they just stoped working.... so i assumed that it was just the earphones....
but tryed with another pair same thing
