Solaris 10 sconadm registration fails - InvalidAssetException

Hello, I'm having the same problem that many others seem to be having with registering a system for the first time.
Sparc system running solaris 10
I have tried the following procedures to no avail.
I can log into updates.sun.com with my username and password
1. Stop the cacao container by executing : cacaoadm stop
2. rm /var/scn/persistence/SCN*
3. /usr/lib/cc-cfw/framework/lib/cc-client-adm stop
4. /usr/lib/cc-cfw/framework/lib/cc-client-adm disable
5. /usr/lib/cc-ccr/bin/eraseCCRRepository
6. cacaoadm start
7. Attempt to register again

  • Cisco ip phone 9971 registration failed with CME 8.6 on WAN

    Dear  Sir
    Subject: Cisco ip
    phone  9971 registration failed
    with CME 8.6 on WAN
I have a WAN  simulation with one Cisco2811 router one Cisco1841 router (connected with fast  Ethernet interface) plus one layer 2  switch.
I upgraded the 2811 IOS to 15.4M and installed CME8.6, when we tried  to add 9971 sip phone If the traffic goes throw LAN (Same subnet- directly from  switch to 2811) everything is fine and the SIP phone (9971) added with no  problem but when I change the subnet and traffic goes throw WAN
( from 1841  routed to 2811 with default route) my phone didn't register.
It will be great  if anybody could help!!
If you can solve my problem, I will be happy to  compensate.

Try binding SIP to an interface on which Phone can reach (Use "voice service voip" "sip" and then bind)

I get the error "drm device registration failed" using Verizon Media Manager on an android tablet.  Any ideas? You get this error if the device is "rooted" (meaing you have full root access).  There is an app in the Google Play Store that will temporarily allow you to un-root the device, and when done the registration will work.   I use OTA RootKeeper to temporarily un-root and then re-root.  The device must be un-rooted each time you attempt to use the Verizon Medai Manager app to view content.

  • N95-1 Sim registration failed error

My 2 year old unbranded N95-1 hadn't created any problem till now. It has started giving error " sim registration failed" every now and then. Its the same sim and operator I have been using for 2 years. Restarting often resolves the issue, but how often can u do that? Its out of warranty, and when I took it to NCC, they said its sim card reader IC needed to be replaced and charged 550 Rs. It worked for 1 odd month and again it has started giving me tht error. I just wanted to ask some Techie that what exactly causes this error? Sim card and phone gold contacts are CLEAN. I used the sim card in other phone for 15 days and its just fine. Just wanna know if it is repairable or should I throw the phone away?

This may sound like a stupid idea, but have you tried updating or reinstalling your phone´s firmware?
You can update your phone using the NSU:
    Nokia Software Updater
All you need for this is a internet connection and a data cable for your phone!
If the sim card reader was already replaced it surely can´t be the hardware side of it, so why not try the software side?
By clicking the "Kudos!" or the "Solution?" button on the right you can say "Thank You" and you´ll show the author and others that the post is useful.

You have to use a Microsoft word.Open a word document->Go to File->Click Open ->type the url http://server:28080/interop/content/ in the file name.(look screen shot 1)
It will prompt for user and password type in and then go to Files->AdminProjects->Default application Group(look screen shot 2)
then look for the application and then delete it.
also look in for the application name in that project folder too.....(shot 2)

If MS word is not working also you can navigate through using MAP NETWORK DRIVE option in the windows and follow the same steps above.

  • Simcard registration failed, what to do?

    Hello
I've got a problem with my N900 in some countries.  In the following countries the phone works as usual:
The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxemburg, France, Denmark.
In the following countries, from the moment I'm on their network, the phone says "sim card registration failed":
United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, and probably in more countries.
Does anybody know what this means, or what to do about it?  I googled around a bit and people are saying that the phone could be an illegal one or a stolen one and the IMEI is for that reason blocked.  But I bought my phone in an official store...
    Thank you
    Dieter

I wouldn't think straight away that's lost or stolen. think it can be a few things aswell. Certainly make sure the SIM is not starting to fail, if it is it can play havoc with the phone causing problems. Take it out & clean it gently. SIM might not be making contact properly. IF the SIM work in other phones without the same issue it could be the phone at fault. If not the SIM could be warn, damaged or just old or just faulty anyway! Get a new SIM sent out! (Hope that helps for you Their is always light & hope at the End of the tunnel))

  • Registration Failed Z10

I am trying to setup a Z10 and getting the floowing error on startup:
"Registration failed.  Your device could not be registered with infrastructure because of error 2032"
Only options I have are Turn Off or Retry
Any idea how to get around this?

    Hi ,
I´am having exact the same problem.
Nothing is working. I don´t know what to do.

  • 'SIM card registration failed' on Nokia 6300 - fin...

I have two Nokia 6300 phones (I know, they are pretty old now, but there's no point me switching them while these still work!). I had one with me when I worked in New York and it worked fine out there with a US pay-as-you-go SIM card. The other one I saved to use in the UK when I was here, and it has a UK pay-as-you-go SIM (Tesco). I have now moved back to the UK and want to use both phones with my UK SIM card, however the one I used in America says 'SIM card registration failed' and won't find any reception when i put my SIM card (or any SIM card) in to it.
I'd be extremely grateful for any help/advice people can offer.
    Thanks!
    Melanie

card registration failed means it has been locked out by the service provider
Did you buy the phone NEW?? is so take it back they will exchange it
If you bought it used chances are who ever sold it has reported it lost or stolen or It was stolen before they sold it
I had this on a Brand new N95 which was exchanged by the shop some one had either Palmed it while looking in the shop or just stolen the ID from it
Nokia user / modder since Nokia Orange and Mobira user too before that
