Solaris 8 United states DST changes - patch 109809-03 and 108993-56

Setup:
- I am using solaris 8 server
- I edited /etc/TIMEZONE to include TZ=US/Pacific
- I installed patches 109809-03 and 108993-56
- Rebooted the server
To test if the new DST chanages for year 2007:
- I set up time to DST start time. I get the expected behavior (spring forward) as shown below:
# date .57;while [ 1 ]; do date; sleep 1; done
Sun Mar 11 01:59:57 PST 2007
Sun Mar 11 01:59:58 PST 2007
Sun Mar 11 01:59:59 PST 2007
Sun Mar 11 03:00:00 PDT 2007

- I setup the time to DST end time (fall back) and I do not see time changing back to 1:00 am at 2:00 am

BTW my previous post had a problem. To test DST I set the time by running:

There are no trade ins at all.
You would ahve to buy a new iphone if you want one.

Hi, welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Start iTunes. Second menu keyword at the top-left will be Edit. Click this and then click the last item on the menu that drops down which is Preferences. The left-most tab is General and last control on the tab is Language. Click the drop-down, select English UK or English US which should be the 8th & 9th items respectively, click OK. Close iTunes, reopen.

How do you change your account to reflect moving from Canada to the United States?

Just wondering how you can update and iTunes account with new credit card information from an American bank when my account doesn't allow me to change my country to the United States. I moved from Canada and have an outstanding bill that I can't pay iTunes with b/c my credit card there has been closed.
Any suggestions?

Because of copyright restrictions by publishers, it is not possible to change your account from one country to another. Your best chance is contacting iTunes Store customer support.

DST timezone patch for 10.1.0.5.0 on Linux

I succesfully downloaded & run a new version of the script utltzuv2.sql which checks your TSTZ current data for any rows affected by the updates to the time zone files.

We have call centers in all regions and central controller is located in Europe with CET timezone .Do we have any option to manage DST change without modifying Routing script every time/
If we create admin script to store time with DST change to memory variable and check that variable's value in routing script , does it work?
Please share if anyone have better idea to fix this .

We are looking for a better solution to this as well. Our routers are in California and we have call centers in Europe. The DST issue is compounded by the fact that the two continents observe DST changover on different dates.
Right now we create admin scripts with four different time checks:
1) When both are on Standard Time
2) When the US has changed to DST but Europe has not
3) When both are on DST
4) When the US has moved back to Standard Time and Europe has not.
These scripts are monstrosities and require a lot of maintenance because DST dates change every year. It also creates more possible points of failure (or human error). We would like to have "TimeZone" switch that establishes a time zone for the admin script. I saw somewhere that UCCX has this. Why not UCCE?

I fixed the To: autofilling incorrectly by deleting my email address from the Previous Recipients List, but is there a way to stop that from coming up on emails that I receive?

Have you checked your Mac address book? If your email is saved somewhere in your address book with the name "Holidays in the United States" it might be adding the name automatically in Mac Mail.
Alternatively, try this:
Delete an Email Address from Auto-Complete in Mac OS X Mail
To remove an email address from the auto-complete list in Mac OS X Mail:
Start typing the recipient's address or name in a new message.
Select the desired address from the auto-complete list as if you'd compose an email to them.
Click the small down arrow in the recipient.
Select Remove from Previous Recipients List from the menu.
You can also search for the unwanted address directly in the previous recipients list:
Select Window | Previous Recipients from the menu in Mac OS X Mail.
Highlight the address you want to remove.You can highlight multiple addresses by holding down the Command key.
Click Remove from List.

Hello Luis,
To update your billing information, you would need to change your iTunes Store country to be able to enter the information for Switzerland. I found an article with the steps to update this:
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

be able to have I Tunes in English but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Restore the device and set it up as new.
Either plug it into itunes and select restore under the summary tab, or (post ios5) go into settings, general, reset, erase all content and data. When either asks to save a backup, you dont have to....hit No etc..
This will bring the ipad to the start screen like you just bought it and erase everything.

Changing Blackberry browser setting from Venezuela to United States

Okay, so I messed up while initially setting up my Blackberry Q10 web browser country. I thought that I selected United States of America but inadvertaintly selected Venezuela. Now all of the browser content comes back in Spanish and not English. I have looked at all of the browser preference settings for the application and there is nothing in the settings tab that will allow me to change the language or country.
Has anyone else run into this issue? I would have expected it to be really easy to change this setting but I am stumped as to how to fix this.

Thanks for the feedback regarding my isue. I checked settings > lanuage and inputs and the language was already set for English. I then cleared Cookies and other Data. None of this worked and the web browser is set for Venezuela and displays spanish. The browser connects to http://ve.blackberry.com by default, which is the actual problem, here.
