Sold Iphone - owner can't erase
i Recently sold my iphone 5. Prior to the sale, I erased everything off it and removed it from my iCloud. Now the new owner keeps telling me that they are trying to erase it themselves and it's asking for my iCloud password (shows him the email associated with my iCloud account). I don't know what to do.
I signed in and deleted account from there as you instructed.
Then, when I open iCloud, my email address (Apple ID) still there as I wrote in the above.
(my iPhone reset every settins and No SIM card.)
Most of other thing including Game Center, there was my email address on ID. When I erase it, it doesn't show up again when I open it again. But this iCloud seems different. Now every information is gone except this.
Could you explain again if I didn't understand correctly? But I feel like I did correctly...

Thought would have erased with resetting iPadHello, your iPad is 'Activation Locked' as a part of 'Find My iPad'.
Log onto www.icloud.com, go to 'Find My iPhone'. Then select 'All Devices', your old iPad will probably show here, select 'Remove from Account'.
If there is no option to 'Remove from Account' ask the current owner to switch iPad off for a while, and remove from account should show in 5 minutes or so. -

If you cannot get the previous owner (who may not be the seller) to release it the phone is useless; return it to the seller.
Normally someone releasing an iPhone for resale will erase their personal data first (for obvious reasons). To do this they must release Activation Lock. So the previous owner either forgot to do this (unlikely) or the phone was stolen from them. If it was stolen then you are in possession of stolen property, which in itself is a crime, even if you didn't know it was stolen.
There are a few ways to find out who the phone is still locked to. You can try contacting them, but if the phone WAS stolen the outcome will not be a good one. So the best thing you can do now is return the phone for a refund. -

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

When I plug in iPhone (5.1.1) to computer, playlists show up on the iPhone (when plugged in), that do not appear when it is not plugged in. And I can't erase them. I have iTunes match, and deleted all my music on the iPhone, but that had no effect on the phantom playlist that shows up on the PC when I plug in the iPhone to the PC. I cannot manually move songs or playlists from the PC to the iPhone

I unfortunately just got my IPhone 4s stolen.I thought I had the find my iPhone enabled but I didn't because I cannot locate the phone when I sign in ICloud.I have a password on the phone but i'm not sure if I turned on the option where the phone resets if you incorrectly put the password more than ten time. I immediately called my phone company (Verizon) and reported the phone stolen.So I know whoever took the phone cannot place calls or use the phone. But can they still access my data on the phone if they manage to unlock the phone? If so how can I erase all data on the phone so the thief can't access my personal information? is there any other way other than Find my IPhone to wipe off the data on the phone? I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. How can I erase a photo album that was uploaded from an old computer that I don't have no more? I have other albums in the Iphone that I don't want to delete.
If you sync with the new computer it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with the selected content of the new computer.
The pics that you have taken with the iphone should be imported regularly to your computer as you would with any digital camera. You can then organize them and sync them back to the iphone if you wish.
If you have had itunes perform a backup on the new computer, you should get the pics taken with the iphone back, but I would import them before trying anything. -

If the contacts are still in Address Book on your computer, but just not on the phone, you can tell iTunes to force replace the contacts on your phone with those from your computer. You can do this by going into the Info tab when your iPhone is connected, and checking the Contacts box under the Advanced section at the bottom of the page.
You may also want to backup your Address Book information as well. It's a good idea to make periodic backups of your contact and calendar information in case information accidentally gets deleted or changed. You can find out how to backup your Address Book data here:

Hi all, im from dubai. someone stolen my iphone5. i was trying to erase my data via find my iphone. in the end there was a notification that remove. i have click remove. then it never shows my device in find my iphone. how can i see my device in my pc...?
Here's an interesting bit: iTunes will let me restore my iPod touch from backup: it's still running iOS 4.3.3. I figured as much... there's backups showing in the Preferences -> Devices list for both devices (and even my old, long gone iPod touch 2G), but my iPhone (on iOS5) isn't giving me any such option. I remember I had to downgrade before to get the backup restored (something went haywire in the setup assistant, and I couldn't restore a backup from iTunes there)... If it was possible to go to iOS 5.0 rather than 5.0.1 I would just do the same thing again, but iOS 5.0.1 isn't an option. I attached a screenshot. Hopefully Apple can get this nonsense sorted out; I think iOS 5 might be the root of this, somehow.

You are correct, they do keep a record of texts sent and received and subscribers can access this information themselves using their online account.
They do do keep the content of text messages at all just like they do not keep copies of phone conversations. If the text message is deleted from the sending and receiving instrument it is gone. Getting a court order for the content of text messages from a provider would be a worthless endeavor as it is well known that information is not available.
If a text message has not been successfully delivered the system will continue to try to send it by accessing the senders device and resending the message; you are right they are not from cosmic radiation or echoes from the moon, they are from the device that sent the message. -
