Solid background for program (not document)

Just installed InDesign CC on Mac. I find having my desktop partailly showing very annoying. Is there any way to have a sold background for the program like there is in Photoshop? Same question Applies to Illustrator CC.

Iam not a mac user but if i remember I think there on windows menu>Application Frame

In Pages, how can I set a background for the whole document?

I tend to regard Pages as more of a page layout program than a simple word processor, so I use it for stuff containing graphics as well as text. Now I want to put a kind of frame around every page in the document, and I want this frame to be effectively a background for everything else, with it being my responsibility for the remainder of the material to stay in the frame. I can't see any feature that allows this apart from Headers and Footers, and as far as I can see, these are not supposed to occupy the whole page, just the top and bottom.
Can anyone give a good technique for configuring a background in this way?

This forum has helped me to partially answer my own question, in that I see now that I want to create a template with a section master that contains my graphic. But when I tried to do this, the menus for making a graphic (in my case a grouped item) part of a section master just didn't work. I am trying to follow the Help page "Using Master Objects (Repeated Background Images), but so far I can't get the menus to undim.
Can anyone help?

Screen enhancement using BADI not workingin background for program RFRECPSFA520

Hi Gurus,
I implimented the badi BADI_RECP_SF (Enhancement spot BADI_RE_CP_SF) add custom tab with custom field for additional selection criteria.I used the steps provide in BADI documentation. Everything is working fine but when I run the program in background the additional field values are not comming in the method where I need to filter record. Additional field values are populating fine when I run the program in foreground.
Does anybody come accross this issue, any input? Is the screen enhancemnets are only for foreground pocessing?

Norton for one thing does more harm than good and tries to modify the system's behavior.

Document splitting: Items for clearing not found

Dear All,
I have created bank gl without tick of open item management now i have activate OIM & Transcation exisit for the same
I have done it as given below:
1) I have made GL balance Zero by posting an additional entry by F-02 (document type SA)
2) Block the GL for posting
3) though help of programe RFSEPA02 i have done the same.
Now the GL is OIM
Now i have to reverse the additonal entry pass to make GL balance zero
At the time of reverse through FB08 system gives an error massage
*" Document splitting: Items for clearing not found"*
Please any one help to resolve the issue

When i am trying to clear open item for the both the extra entry system gives an same error

When upgrading to OSX Yosemite do all my programs and files transfer over such as Office for mac, saved documents from word,excel,pics,pdf files,etc.etc...

Will all my files transfer over (or stay) automatically right after upgrading to Yosemite or do I have to backup every single desired program or document? Question is do I HAVE to please if you can answer if its mandatory or not. Not looking for recommendations that I SHOULD back up or anything like that just want to know if it is mandatory to perform a backup to be able to keep or transfer all my current programs and apps and documents currently on my MB Pro Retina.

Yes, upgrading to Yosemite will not touch your 3rd party apps or files in the Home folder.
Although not mandatory you should have a a backup of your hard drive regardless if you upgrade to Yosemite or not. To not have a backup is just playing Russian roulette as there are only two types of hard drives; those that have failed and those that will.

Open Activity Monitor and look for the program. Select it and Quit or Force quit it from within Acitiviy Monitor.
Search for the application with Find Any File as it can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, system folders and packages. You can drag the app and any associated files from the search result window to the Trash bin in the Dock.

Invoice Out put Condition type for printing not populated in the invoice document. Now We need to insert condition type for many documents to print at a time. We can manually place condition type at document header level individually for every document. But we have many documents to print.
plz advice me how to print all these documents

Just take help from your ABAP team. Record the event in SHDB ask then to get invoice number from excel file and loop the program.
This will be more faster then LSMW.

Abap program for delivery note output

Hi,
I would like to send a delivery note by email using standard output type. I already custumized the outpt type, assigned communication strategy and all other necessary data, but when I tried to send this document via email nothing happened...
Is there any sample program which is sending delivery note documents (shipment document) on the external email address in PDF format?

You intend to execute that SAP Trxn code in background. You cannot schedule a job. Did you think in background who will populate the values in the screen?
Alternatively, you can create a BDC program & schedule that program.

Insert a div box background for one document only while using external CSS style sheet.

I am trying to set a background image in one of my div boxes, but because I am using an external style sheet it changes it in all my documents. How can I do it with just this one page? Preferably in design mode.

What i did to slove this problem was:
Open my external CSS style sheet
Copy the contents of it
Remove the CSS link in the one page i wanted to be different.
Pasted the contents in the <head> under the rest of the CSS rules for that page.
Then I could set the background for that box w/o altering the other pages..
I tried the other suggestions, but could not get them to work. Not saying they are wrong, but maybe i was implementing them wrong.

Illustrator 25% off the time "program not responding" for 35 seconds when network is active

My Client have 4 computers, all win7, running cs 5 or 6, the newest the cloudbased version.
The problem has been sinc upgrading from cs3.
"Program not responding" for 35 seconds, before loading the file on 1/4 of time.
It is not on specific files, and no patton.
it does'nt matter if the files are on network or saved local on Harddrive.
the sice does'nt matter.
Only switching of nic and wifi stops the problem.
I did try downloading other files (not made by my client), from the net, they do not trigger the problem.
What else then the Files can bee the problem? can anyone test my files to see what is wrong?

I have a very similar problem with my CS6 Ai on our company network. I sometimes use Illustrator for image heavy documents less than 10 pages. These have a lot of placed images.
It will freeze, say "not responding" and curser switches to blue spinner. Then about 15 sec later it unfreezes and I can work for another 60 sec or so, then repeat freeze, blue spinner, etc. Very annoying. When i unplug the network LAN cable the problem goes away and I sail along. I have tried relocating the Ai file to my desktop (not sure about the images).
Waiting on any feedback or help, our IS guys are getting stumped. I could switch to InDesign for this work but not my preference.

Delivery not created in background for VL10 or VL10BATCH

My client is using ECC6.0. When I schedule a job in background for VL10 or VL10BATCH, only the delivery due list appears. No deliveries are created. Also referred to OSS note '310022 - VL10: Schedule batch job/variant creation' and changed the fcode profile to '5001' for the user role being used. Still no deliveries are created. Require your advise.

We also faced the similar problem so I would suggest you to put the program of respective transaction(for e.g VL10A/VL10B) in background and it will work fine.

BDC Program for posting FI document

Hi everyone!
Anyone out there already made a BDC program for posting FI documents with this concept:
User will upload a spreadsheet file with the line items per row
User will input which TCODE user will use for posting
BDC program will then post the document using the line items in the spreadsheet file
I need to make a BDC program with that concept but having a hard time to think of a good algorithm to make my program very flexible.

Have a processing routine defined for the specific Idocs that come into SAP.
So, as and when the idocs are in, the routine triggers and you can codeappropriately in the routine for parking the idocs.

1. In my experience, the white color wears out LCDs with time. For instance, the top main Finder menu of the Apple Cinema Displays shows white all the time with Mac OS X, and wears out with time (several years). You can see it when the Mac is booting and such area is shown darker. Actually, it has usually being recommended to use a full solid black background as the best screen saver to increase the LCD useful life.
There can be image burn-in with LCDs, but Apple says it can be fixed

2. So, if your argument is correct, it seems that solid white is the best color for lower energy consumption,
White won't reduce the energy consumption, but the display should run slightly cooler since it is radiation more light, instead of adsorbing it.
but solid black or a dark color could be better to increase LCD useful life.
It seems that it the black that burns-in (since they recommend a white screen to fix it), but not permanently.
3. Last but not least, the "Apple/System Preferences/Displays/Brightness" set at 50% or lower will also increase the LCD useful life (the less brightness, the better).
Don't forget to set display sleep in "Energy Save" system preference. Reduced brightness will make the backlight last longer, but won't affect burn-in Display sleep will help both.
