SolMan configuration - Message type "e" is unknown

Hi all,
every time i select the step 6.6 (Connect Diagnostics Agents to Solution Manager) of the System Preparation in SolMan 7.1 SP11 i receive the following message (and related dump in ST22).
Message type "e" is unknown.
Same thing happens in two different Solution Manager (same version and SPS).
Looking for SAP Notes without help.
Any suggestions?
Regards.

Hello guys,
We have a similar issue.
Here is why we got to this error. When i setup the SLD in step 6.1 i used another system, and the Solution Manager was non existent in that SLD/LMDB.
I now configured a local SLD in 6.1 and created a local LMDB.
I am now running the synchronization again ( which as you know takes a while ).
Probably the easiest way would have been just to define the system in the first LMDB, but in our case it's a development system and i wanted to try this also.
I will let you know after the sync is finished.

  • Message type " " is unknown

    Hi Masters
When i try to cancel the subcontracting challan in T code J1IF13, it throws a run time error "Message type " " is unknown" .We discussed with the ABAPer regarding this error. He told that we have to maintain the message type in configuration.  Where to maintain the message type for subcontracting challan?
    Regards
    Mohanraj.C

    Use
The subcontracting attributes help determine conditions for a combination of an excise group, a transaction type, and a subtransaction type.
The conditions such as the number of excise items per subcontracting challan, if the nonexciseable materials have to be filtered or not when the subcontracting challan is created, the movement type groups for issues and receipts and the hierarchy of determining the excise base value are mentioned here.
    Requirements
Before you continue with this activity, work through the following activities:
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -> Goods Issue / Transfer Postings -> Define Screen Layout.
For the movement type 541, maintain the field Purchase Order as an optional entry or as a required entry.
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -> Output Determination -> Maintain Output Types.
Maintain the output type. On the Default Values tab, maintain the dispatch time and the transmission medium. Maintain the print parameter on the Print tab. This output type has to be maintained in this activity here.
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -> Output Determination -> Assign Forms and Programs.
Maintain the Program, FORM routine, and the form for the output type.
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -> Output Determination -> Printer Determination -> Printer Determination by Plant / Storage Location.
Enter the output device that you use.

  • Configuring JMS delivery message type on B2B server

    Hi,
I have configured my B2B server to use the JMS delivery channel for the host trading partner by setting the attribute 'Use JMS Queue as default' to true. Now my query is how do one configure the jms message type. Becasue by default the jms message is getting delivered as byte message. I want to change the jms message type to text. Is there a way to configure that?
    Regards,
    Bp

    Hi Nitesh,
I am using the b2b_in_queue in my composite application. Hence i would like to know how to change the jms message type to TEXT? Is this option not possible with the "Use JMS Queue as default" property?

  • Unknown message type 'Event/SkypeVideoMessage' & Bolding text Issues

Let me start off by saying how great Skype web is- it's much faster and easier to load in the browser. I have noticed two big issues and that is I cannot watch or receive video messages, and when someone bolds a message in Skype for Desktop it doesn't show up quite right.. Video messages come out with this error message: "Unknown message type 'Event/SkypeVideoMessage" As for the bolding issue, basic HTML, just coming out weird... probably a simple fix.

Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
Thanks for your interest in Skyp for Web and great to hear it's a useful extension for your everyday Skype use.
Indeed the video message conversation event is currently not supported. Also rich text formatting of text is currently not rendering. Support for these features will arrive via the regular updates to Skype for Web in the future.

  • RealVNC gives unknown message type 167

I'm trying to use the RealVNC viewer from a Windows machine to talk to a Mac running OS X 10.4.3 and Apple Remote Desktop. It almost works, and in fact one time it did work, but on every subsequent attempt, I get "unknown message type 167." The message comes up after I give the VNC password, and while the screen is initially drawing. Every other VNC viewer I've tried also fails to connect.

Hey man! Here is a list of the mappings between Java and Flex classes in blazeds:
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/blazeds/1/blazeds_devguide/help.html?content=serialize_data_3.ht ml
And here is a post in another forum, with a guy with your same problem:
    http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web_Development/Web_Languages-Standards/Flex/Q_26185302.ht ml
I would use Object in Flex, and map it to a Map in Java.

  • Error after slave switch replacement - %PLATFORM_IPC-3-COMMON: Unknown IPC message type 45529

    Hi guys.
We replaced a slave switch recently and error messages appear only after we connect the tenG fiber and 1 utp.   Prior to the replacement there was no such errors.
I searched online and it seems like my problem is similar to Bug ID: CSCty07602 but I am using version 15.0(1)SE3 that should be a fixed version.

  • Regarding Solman7.1 message type

    Hi, Expert
We've build Solman7.1, but we will needed to change the existing message type in solman
    to old message type SLFN.
If that is possible, could you kindly provide the step by step guide ?
    Thank you !

    Hi Takashi,
Yes instead of SIVA ..the standard delivered transaction type for VAR is SMIV in 7.1
please create a copy of SMIV to ZMIV or YMIV and then customize as per your requirement.
I would also recommend you to attend one EGI for this if possible. The EGI for this is really good and covers almost all the important queries w.r.t to this. Search SMP for EGI calendar.
In addtion, there is a new concept of business roles and sap delivered some out of box like SOLMANPRO and SOLMANREQU etc
kindly check my below blogs which might help you to customize/configure the interface as well.
Quick Tip : Customizing Business Role in Solution Manager 7.1 ITSM Part 1
Quick Tip : Customizing Business Role in Solution Manager 7.1 ITSM Part 2
hope this resolves ur doubt...All the best
