  • SAP system hang when start the addon.

    Dear Expert,
I just upgrade one of the SAP B1 server from 2007A to SAP B1 8.8 PL15, everything going smooth both server and clients.
Except one client (new laptop with Win 7 Pro x86), this laptop fail to start the addon.
Others clients with same specs Win 7 Pro have no problem to start addon.
    Addon started manually.
After click start button for that addon, the system hang. If without the addon system working fine.
If anyone have ideas to check much appreciate and thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Mat

    Hi Bala,
I did try your steps, but no luck. System still hang when start the addon.
But, I can start SAP addon , example i try Screen Painter, and can start successfully. Only our addon cannot start.
I'm not suspect our addon because others client working smooth, even the server also working fine.
I did re-install DIAPI, even re-install SAP client a few time, but still fail to start addon (delete SAP client folder before install).
    Any one face this problem?
    Regards,
    mat

    Hi,
Try seeing the log messages after doing the following setup in the instance :-
    1. Telnet to environment
    1. In $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/oc4j.properties
    1. Add following property at the end of the file : SOA_ENABLE_STANDALONE_LOGGING=TRUE
    2. Bounce oafm container using script $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adoafmctl.sh
    3. Perform any SOA specific action like generate.
SOA specific log would be created at : $INST_TOP/soa/SOALog.log
This file should show you the exact error happening.
    Thanks,

  • Why is there an odd delay when invoking the task switcher w/"Reduce motion" off?

Sometime after updating to iOS 7.1 (and 7.1.1), I noticed that when I double-clicked the home button in order to invoke the task switcher (and when I pressed on an app preview or icon in order to switch to it), that there was a 2-3 second delay before the task switcher actually appears (or I switch to the chosen app). What is doubly strange is that if I turn "reduce motion" to OFF in Settings > Accessibility, the delay goes away.
To make matters worse, a friend of mine with an "iPad 3" (i.e. the first iPad with a retina display) tells me that he does not see the delay. I've restored the iPad and set it up as a new iPad, yet the delay does not disappear.
Has anyone else observed this problem?

I see this problem as well.
There is a 2-second delay from when I hit the HOME button twice on my iPAD 2 before any of the open Apps appear.
There is also a lag when selecting some settings (ex. Wallpapers & Brightness ... about 2-3 seconds after I make the selection).
My Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reduce Motion is set to ON as well.

  • Aperture hangs when adjusting the exposure....

After upgrading to Aperture 3, I've discovered that it often hangs when I try to adjust the exposure...have to force quit....happened three times today. Is this a known issue?

Yes. Read other threads on this. I work around by first clicking on an exposure adjustment without moving a slider. Just clicking sets Aperture to 'process.' Once you see 'processing' has stopped, you will likely be good to go. Also, if an image freezes Aperture, after relaunching the application, go back to that image and force a regeneration of the thumbnail (or preview). This too will help. And report to Apple. The more they hear, the more likely to repair the issue.

  • Javaw.exe hangs when activating the console

When activating the console in WebStart, it looks like WinXP doesn't release javaw.exe, even when the application gets closed. This never occurs when the console is not activated.
    A possible bug ?
    - Pierre-Yves

I have searched so many forums and every body (if any at all) state I need to edit my code to sort this out. Well here's a shocker! :) i dont write any code. I am installing J2RE1.4.1_02 and unfortunately due to our other applications, can only use this version. I am installing it on XP images and so far have only had a 60% success rate. Could there be an application installed or a process that is preventing the console from opening? I noticed the way the data is entered into the registry is slightly different from the successful ones. Is there a work around?
Please I am desperate as I am installing this onto 400 PC's.

  • Problem when invoke the  Webservice WSDL

    Hi ,
    Use case :
I have two applications (Webservices) A and B.They have their own WSDL urls.
    From A ---> request format at A ---->Transform that into B request format----->forward that(request) to B request --- > get B response -----> tranfrom that into A response format ----> A response
    First part of usecase:
I need to send the request from A to B.But both A and B has different request and response schemas(they will have similar kind of fileds but their naming convention will be different. That is why transformation is required in jdeveloper)
I have developed a composite which has one BPEL process as component.
I am placing the A webservice as "exposed Service" swimlane and B webservice in 'external reference'.BPEL process is in component swimlane.
I deployed that Composite which has above BPEL Process(Takes input from one wsdl url and transforms that request format to (another) webservice request format as explained above) which tries to invoke(send request to) the another webservice Wsdl.
When I test that composite (That WSDL url),I am getting service invokation exception.

Some part is requiring authentication, either the proxy or the web service provider. First thing is to determine which of them.
Are you able to call B via SOAP-UI? Are you passing authentication in SOAP-UI? If not the problem is in you proxy server.

  • CS6 hangs when selecting the pencil tool

CS6 hangs for about a minute when I select the pencil tool.  Everything just freezes up and then after about a minute I'm good to go.  I'm running Lion 10.7.3 with 12GB Ram.

  • Firefox 4 hangs when accessing the "Verified By Visa" capability used by many UK online retailers including Tesco & The National Lottery; is this a known problem?

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4 from version 3 and have experienced a problem when trying to purchase online using my Visa debit card.
UK stores and services are using the "Verified By Visa" system to double-check the validity of credit and debit cards and this capability is called by many stores at the end of their online payment process.
Firefox 4 does not seem able to handle this capability and 'hangs' once data has been entered into the "Verified By Visa" window and sent to the server. This means that the transaction cannot be completed and funds cannot be transferred from Visa to the retailer/service provider. I have experienced this 'hanging' problem with both Tesco online groceries and with the UK National Lottery online site.
Is this a known problem? I had no trouble using this service on these sites with the previous version of Firefox (3.6.8) but the error is solid in Version 4 of Firefox.
Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?
NB. I have reverted to the previous version of Firefox temporarily, so the troubleshooting information attached will be of little relevance to this question.

Was having the same problem on the National Lottery website and their "Help" section amounts to an 0845 number, so I did a bit of rummaging online and found a solution.
I had Third Party cookies disabled , so I ticked the box to Accept them(under Tools>Options>Privacy), restarted FF, added funds and the "Verified by Visa" process works properly. I'll just turn it on & off as needed, as I prefer not to accept third party cookies normally.
Hope this helps someone else in the same position - very frustrating, especially when my VbyVisa statement recorded the failed transactions, even though neither my lottery account or my bank account showed any sign of them.

I tried to start QMaster using the terminal and the command you gave me, and I got the following message:

I remember something like this happening last time I tried to use Compressor, so I exported a QT file and used that in DVD SP.

  • Printing was hanged, when pressed the 'X', it became cancelling and hanged again

I just bought the ePrint B110 wireless printer 2 weeks ago, installed successfully with nice printout. However once it went into sleep mode, the printing request was failed and couldn't wake up the sleep mode.  Needed to wake up manually then could print. However, now it totally dead. When sent print, the printing was hanged, pressed the 'X', it became cancelling and hanged again, then turn off the machine.  Turned on again, it was normal in ready mode, when sent print, the error happened again and couldn't print at all. Pls advise.
    This question was solved.

Let's set a static IP address for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). You can find the DHCP range of the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the router's IP address (ends in .1) into a browser.
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
    - Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.
