Solution Always Connected with BlackBerry (by browser)

Hi, i've got a client that want an always connected solution and Blackberry mobile.
Iu2019ve read some information and Iu2019ve some doubts:
      - Can be implemented with SAP PI (web services) and web dynpros?
      - Do I need a Blackberry Enterprise Server in an always connected solution? Do I need Sap NW MI or only a java instance?
      - If is an always connected solution, can you send me an example of an architecture with BlackBerry?
      - Can I program, with this solution, an initial screen where the user log in and then access to his allowed transactions?
      - Can be also implemented on the ERP java instance and publish on PI as web services?
Thanks and Regards

Sorry to respond that your post is vague.
Did you do a reset to factory?  It takes a day or a few days for a BB10 device to finish sync'ing and indexing and so forth after a wipe or an OS reinstall or upgrade.   If performance is subpar, give it another day to see if it improves.
On the last, I may not understand.  I believe you are saying you are connecting to the device with Link and the computer mounts  the microSD card as a drive but not the device's onboard memory.  Do you have mass storage mode enabled?   If so, disable mass storage mode and try again.

Have you done a battery pull yet?  If not, give that a shot.
Open desktop manager first, then try to connect the phone when it says "connect your device"

Only if the Backberry and the cellular provider allows the Blackberry to be set up as a wifi hotspot.

  • Desktop won't connect with Blackberry

I'm using Vista Home Premimum and I have uninstalled ActiveSync. I have installed vesion 4.5 (4.3 won't work. It starts and then a second later shuts down.) When I connect the blackberry to the USB port, the desktop doesn't connect with it. The computer recognizes the blackberry and device manager shows that it is working properly, but the desktop won't connect.

Although the following thread had XP as the operating system, I believe this might be a good way to isolate your problems. It resolved the problem for them. Please note StoneRivers post.

  • Blackberry 9900 will not connect with Blackberry Desktop (v 6 or v7). I am running Windows 7.

I am running Windows 7, and have a Blackberry Bold 9900.  This has some music on but most importantly my work diary and contacts which I synchronise through Desktop.  I also use it as an external modem and tether my PC through it if I’m somewhere with no wireless.
Yesterday, I did these things during the afternoon:
    ·         Connected a Bluetooth device to my PC (headphones)
    ·         Needed to load a series of drivers for Windows for this to work
    ·         Upgraded from Blackberry Desktop 6 to 7 (following prompt when connected)
    ·         Set up a Bluetooth connection between my Blackberry and PC.
    The next time I connected:
    ·         On The Blackberry smartphone I got the normal Blackberry is plugged in message, with normal options (USB Drive / Sync Media / Charge Only), and software opened as usual
    ·         But I was prompted to Connect Your Blackberry Device (with link to troubleshoot connection).  Clicking this, I was taken to a page which suggested I check the cable etc. (which I did, all OK) and “...turn off synchronization applications or antivirus applications temporarily”.  I disabled Avast, which made no difference, and I don’t know what a “synchronization application” is
    ·         Other aspects of the connection are working (i.e. I can still download photographs from the Blackberry, and still see it as the ‘F:’ drive)
    I therefore conclude that:
    ·         Cable / physical connection is good (also tried a different cable - no change)
    ·         Something I had changed had corrupted things, so:
    ·         Uninstalled Blackberry Desktop v7 and replaced with the version I had been using successfully until yesterday (v6)
    ·         Removed the Bluetooth connection to my Blackberry.
Made no difference, so checked Blackberry help forums, which confused me more.  One thing which I did discover, was that in Device Manager, although Blackberry is visible attached to PC (and says it is working correctly), it DOES NOT appear in the list of Network Adapters (I don’t know if it did before, but one answer in the tech forum suggested this is significant – though not sure why or what to do about it)
Any help would be very welcome – been at this for ten hours now and making no progress!
    Many thanks
    Clive

This worked for me after several hours on the phone with Blackberry Support.  I hope it works for you too:
Finally got it working again! Re-downloaded the desktop software (but when you start it up, make sure to uncheck the automatic update option). While that was downloading, I was instructed to go to microsoft.com and search for and download .NET Framework 3.5. Once you click to download that, there will be an offer to download 2 other items. One of which will be Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile (Web Installer). Click to download that too. Once they are finished downloading, run both files. .Net Framework 4 Client Profile will take longer and will ask you if you want to repair or remove. Choose repair. The repair took several minutes, but once it was done, I clicked "Finish", opened the BB Desktop Software, UNCHECKED THE AUTO UPDATE OPTION, and plugged in my phone. Once windows finished installing the drivers, Low and behold! The Desktop software recognized that the phone was connected! I hope this helps you resolve your issue as well. When it again offered me an update I clicked to update later (meaning never!). Best of luck to you.

  • Bluetooth doesn't want to connect with Blackberry 8830

I hope someone can help. I have a MacBook and a Blackberry 8830 (Curve). I gone through the Bluetooth Assistant and it shows a passkey which I've entered into my Blackberry but the computer never connects with the phone. I want to have Daylite via Dialectic to dial my Blackberry. The only time the computer shows connection to the Blackberry is when I configure the device but as soon as the configuration process is done and you click Quit - the computer disconnects from the phone.
The phone shows that the computer is a Paired Device.
    Suggestions?
    Thx.

  • Playbook won't connect with blackberry desktop.

since last week I have been having problem with connecting my playbook with my pc.
I have google regarding this problem but it all seem that non of my search had same problem as mine. so here the problem i'm getting.
when i connect to my pc i get pop up from blackberry device manager saying that playbook is connected and my blackberry desktop run (have auto run option on) while connecting to playbook it give me error saying "If the device is rebooting or has a dead battery. click retry to attempt to recconect once the device reboots. if clicking retry doesn't connect the device, or the device isn't rebooting with a charged battery. you might need to update your blackberry table os to correct the problem." with 3 option of retry, update and cancel.
I tried both retry and update but it don't fix anything i'm keep getting same error.
now when i searched on google they said it might be mine usb cable but i'm very sure its not since blackberry device manager can see the playbook, and blackberry desktop can update the playbook.
just to give more info here is setting I use on my playbook.
    under security
password enable (this was enable even before i had this problem)
    development mode enable
    under storage & sharing
    usb connections: automatically detect
    File Sharing On
    Wi-Fi sharing On
    Password Protect Off
that the only setting i have set it up on my playbook.
    playbook os. 2.0.1.358
    blackberry desktop version. 7.1.0.32

I am running idm locally with the vanilla version of IDM vsn 8.1.0.4 (project is named idm8.1.0.4)
    I imported the sample/spml.xml file
I checked that the web.xml file entry for rpcrouter2 matched what is in the 8.1 documentation (820-5597.pdf pg 21)
I start up the OpenSPML Browser.
I did not add the option waveset properties values (as I do not want to use a proxy user).
    In the server url: http://localhost:8080/idm8.1.0.4/servlet/rpcrouter2
    Username: configurator
    Password: configurator

Obviously some parameter is empty -- but what?
    Help!

  • NetConnection is always connected with Stratus server?

If NetConnection is dropped, then all NetGroups stop operating?
This would allow to implement some moderation system, if there would be such option on Stratus server serverside api.
How NetConnection is working on background and how it's related to NetGroups?
    Thanks.

having the NetGroup/NetStream objects close when their controlling NetConnection closes is just the behavior we defined for these ActionScript objects. someone who has hacked their Flash Player could disable this behavior, and someone who creates their own independent RTMFP implementation could not do that at all.
it is possible to join a NetGroup with a "serverless" NetConnection (one where you connect to "rtmfp:"), using IP multicast to bootstrap into the group with members on your LAN (assuming your group has ipMulticastMemberUpdatesEnabled=true and an IP multicast address associated with it).  however, if you're in a group but not with a NetConnection that's connected to the server, the server won't know you're in the group and so can't direct new joiners to bootstrap to you. so at least one member of the connected group must remain connected to the server so new joiners can be bootstrapped in if they're not on the same LAN as other members of the connected group.
in addition to bootstrapping into the group, your connection to the server helps with NAT and firewall traversal and helps repair partitions that may occur in the group, perhaps as a result of a mass disconnection or Internet routing problems.
note that the server doesn't necessarily help peers with "nearest" neighbors. the Cirrus servers command new joiners to connect to a few other members of the group totally at random; the group's automatic distributed self-organization algorithm takes over after that bootstrap to settle new joiners into the group topology.

  • App world error code 31200 and unable to connect with Appworld serverI.I

I am unable to connect with BlackBerry Apps World and when I try to purchase an App, I keep getting error code 31200! I've tried to wipe my tablet and I created my BlackBerry I'd on my computer! Now I can't get on with my Bold 9700 either! Unable to access payment information even on my computer and I'm beginning to think getting another BlackBerry wasn't such a great idea. I'm open to suggestions, thanks............
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Well,I don,t  have to return this Playbook after all! I'm so glad I called Tech support at 8776448410 and I got ahold of Spencer in Costa Rica and this guy knows what he is doing! So here is the solution..............
First, wipe your device after backing up your data to BlackBerry Desktop Software if you can. This does work, but you will lose your data you haven't backed up to another location.
Next, get connected to a Wifi source so when your BlackBerry tablet reboots and comes back up in its original startup mode, you can download necessary updates. Once this is done and you have gone through the tutorials to get you familiar with your Playbook, you will need to open BlackBerry Appworld and in thebsearch box at the top right, enter "BlackBerry I'D" if you haven't seen a screen prompting you to do so before this.
Click the "Create BlackBerry ID" icon and start with a new email address.  I recommend. Hotmail since are easiest to link to your Tablet . Fill in with a verifiable email address and secure password. Write it down if you have to. Younwill be taken to another page where younput in your payment information so you can buy Apps. You can use a credit card or PayPal. Fill in your info and when done, click "done' or 'save" and you will be taken back to the BlackBerry I'D Login page. Read-enter your info again exactly as the first time and you will have successfully created a BlackBerry ID!
The one thing that threw me is your login username. If you put in your old email address and you tried using that before, the BlackBerry Appworld system sill boot you back out to your login page with an explanation of errors or an error code! I did inform BlackBerry they need to have a knowledge base of codes to assist their customers with! Also, I recommended that BlackBerry create a click to chat live service to help direct traffic. Now that my BlackBerry Playbook is up and running, I'm glad I didn't return it!

  • Yestderday I connected with wifi from router in my ipad2 but today I cannot, have any help please?

According to previous problem and solution, I reset and power ON/OFF of my router and also ipad2. But No change stil!. My router is quite OK, because I was always connected with laptop. Anyway, I need assistance and kind help.

So you've power cycled the iPad 2 & the router. The laptop is working again fine with the router.
Can the iPad 2 see you network, aswell as other networks?
Try selecting you network if its on the list in Settings > WiFi then Forget this Network. Then iPad 2 settings > general > reset > reset network settings.
Test to see if the wifi network can be detected & joined again in the Ipad 2.
