Solution manager alerts - receiving after one hour

Hello dear experts,
We have installed solution manager in our landscape and connected to D, Q and P systems.
We are getting alerts for the issues that occur in satellite systems to our email box, but the alerts are coming after exactly one hour after the occurance of the issue.
Ex: If a dump occurs on P system at 02:00PM. I get an alert email at 03:00PM.
Please suggest the place where I need to check and change the time difference.
Also, let me know if you need any more details. Please help me ASAP
Thanking you
Mani

  • Macbook pro mid 2009 - beach ball spinning after one hour

    Hi,
I have a problem with my macbook pro mid 2009. After one hour of working the beach ball starts spinning and you cannot work anylonger.
You have to force shut down the macbook pro and restart it. The same problem appears once I wanna do a back-up on my time capsule, but then I receive at least a report after restart:

Can somebody help me, what's wrong with my macbook? I already changed the ram, but it didn't help...
    Best regards,
    Sebastian

    Hi,
I just found the problem. I just have to update the firmware of my SSD:
Crucial M4 and RealSSD C400 SSDs 5184 hours power-on time BSOD issue
Crucial M4 and RealSSD C400 SSDs with firmware earlier than 70H / 07M could become unresponsive after 5184 hours of Power-on time. The drive will recover after a power cycle, however, this failure will repeat once per hour after reaching this point. Update firmware to version 70H / 07M or later.
    My SSD has now 5690hours...

Is it exactly one hour? Has the timezone changed recently, there is a 10G R2 bug around timezones where the Queue Table is created in one timezone but isn't changed when the DB moves to a different timezone so they become out of sync. What does the Time Manager Info value tell you?

I have an ipod shuffle 4th generation. I would like for the music to automatically shut off after one hour long song rather than going to next song on the list. Is this possible?

Sorry, but it's not.  The only way to get this to work is to only put the one hour song on your Shuffle.

    Sjoerd Lubbers ,
Thanks for your input. I am trying to register CCMS agent (SAPCCM4X) for one of Satellite system (ABAP).
But I have few doubts while input the following information.

To enable this feature, you have to setup the user CSMREG

Any ideas? Is the disconnection coing from the forms end or the database end? What can I do about it?

no it is not a server side rule.... the only thing the server accepts is idle time. setting it to 0 means always on. but even with high traffic over the vpn tunnel, the connection gets interrupted.
in programs like ipsecuritas i can set things like duration of connection, but ipsecuritas does not support to get an ip address in the range of the network in the dhcp pool of the router. it only does natting. routing is not possible.
so ipsecuritas is not disconnecting but not sufficients, so it is not a server side thing.

  • Solution Manager Alerts

    Hi SAP Experts,
I am working on SAP R/3 4.6C version. We have Solution Manager monitoring the systems. The Solutions Manager keeps sending the alert messages about the working status of the system. The Alerts are as follws:
    - Oracle Buffers Buffer cache
    - Dialog ResponseTime
    -  Dialog FrontendResponseTime
    -  Dialog DBRequestTime
    -  Dialog Dialog FrontEndNetTime
    -  Dialog LongRunners
    -  Paging Page_In
    -  Paging Page_Out
    -  CPU_Utilization
Can anyone tell me the reason for these alerts and the solutions that need to implement to fine tune the system to avoid these Alerts.
Your help will be greatly aprreciated.

    Hi,
Have you performed an EWA ? It should contain a brief suggestion about each issue.

  • CMS GC, no new cycle is started, full GC after one hour

On several servers we observe Full GC events about twice a day, though we configured ConcMarkSweepGC.
The machines are running HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM 1.6.0 on Linux.
    -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
    -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode
    -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing
    -XX:+UseParNewGC
    -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps
    -XX:+PrintGCDetails
There are regular CMS cyclyes, from CMS-initial-mark until CMS-concurrent-reset, but sometimes there is a Full GC.
    For example:

...We don't observe any concurrent mode failures.
    My observations so far are:
    1. there is no CMS-initial-mark after the previous CMS-concurrent-reset.
    2. the time difference between the end of the previous cycle (timestamp of CMS-concurrent-sweep) and the Full GC is always exactly 3600 seconds plus a few milliseconds.
My first suspicion was, that System.gc() is being called somewhere. But I dropped this idea, after I found the 3600 seconds pattern.
Looks as if the Full GC happens as a replacement for a skipped CMS cycle one hour after the previuos cycle.
What could be the cause for this strange behaviour?
Often a new CMS cycle starts immediately after the previous cycle has been finished (I removed the ParNew lines):
    24927.955: [GC [1 CMS-initial-mark: 3184682K(6058816K)] 3184687K(6135488K), 0.0032150 secs]

31095.149: [CMS-concurrent-reset: 0.097/0.097 secs]Here we have less than 2 seconds between the two cycles.

The presence of the "(System)" in the full GC line means that that collection was caused by a call to System.gc(). You can try running with "-XX:+DisableExplicitGC" as tschodt suggests, but that may have detrimental effects if something thinks it needs a full collection after an hour.
Are you using something like Java RMI, which needs a collection every once in a while to maintain its distributed garbage collection algorithms. You can change the interval at which RMI calls System.gc(), and you can get it to just start a CMS cycle instead of causing a full compacting collection.

  • Appointments received showing one hour forward and Reykjavik time zone

My appointments received are showing one hour forward and Reykjavik as the time zone. When I check them on my outlook desktop they are the correct time. I've checked my time zone ans settings on my z10 and they are correct. I can correct them using edit on the phone but don't want to have to do this each time. Am I missing something?
I saw a post from another time zone which said it was a bug that the developers were working on and a work around was to alter the time zone on the phone by an hour but surely this would alter the time on the phone?

I have tried the same BES installation with an Exchange 2010 Server. No problem with the time zone there.
I have testet an 10.1. Smartphone with Exchange 2003. No problem. All of our 10.2 devices have this problems. On two of these devices the sync of the caleneder has stoped completely. Im now searching for a was back to 10.1 on the affected blackberry devices.
    Any hints are welcome

  • Hey!! i just moved from miami to vienna...i conected my desktop with a big convertor...to 220...and my computer shut down after one hour!!

    Hello!!
I just relocated to Austria,Vienna...and I just recieved my moving from miami.
I just conecyed my computer with a convertor for electricity from 110... to 220 (europe)
it was working for one hour...and sudenly..it shut down completly!!
    what can I do?
    thank you!!
    joanna

Joanna...You don't need and shouldn't use a convertor. If you look at the message I sent you back in June I suggested getting an adapter which only allows the plug to fit in the wall. someone else made the same suggestion.
I'm not sure why you bought a convertor. It's been six months since i sent the message and I don't know if you have been using the computer in Italy or why it is now not working, as I used mine in both Italy and Vienna.
You can buy an adaptor at any electirc store or at Saturn, a large store on Mariahilferstrasse fairly cheaply.
If you do get an adaptor and it still doesn't work, there are a few resellers in Vienna, but no Apple owned store. It's too small a market.
There are a couple of MacShark stores, one at the foot of Mariahilferstrasse near the Kunsthistoriches Museum. I There is also a very good store, honest and a good reputation called Digital Store at Stiftgasse 21, in the 7th district, not too far off of Mariahilferstrasse.
Since they are not Apple stores, you have to pay for almost anything they do, including just opening it up and checking it out so get an estimate before you have them do anything.
Good luck, but try an adaptor first.

  • Re: Satellite A215-S7444 just shuts down after one hour of usage

    I have a satellite A215-S7444.
My problem is that while i'm on the computer after about an hour or so the computer just shuts down.
I have already tried changing the power manegment settings which worked for awhile but my laptop still turns off after awhile.

    Hi Patrick
Im quite sure that your notebook shuts down automatically due to the high temperature inside the notebook.
Its a simply overheating issue which could be caused by clogged cooling grilles.
From time to time its advisable to clean the ventilators. Mostly the dust prevents the cooling modules from properly working and therefore the temperature increases.
I made good experience with the compressed air spray. Such sprays can be purchased from many computer/notebook dealers.
Additionally you could try to google for some online offers too.
    Bye

  • Regenerating test packages in Solution Manager 4.0 after blueprint changes.

    Hello,
    This is the scenario.
A test plan and test package (1 process = 1 test package) have been created.
The blueprint has changed and a new step has been added to the process (the process that has already been assigned into a test package.
How do you get that new task/step into the test package??
    Current situation:
I've managed to regenerate the test plan with the new task listed under the process. However when I go into change test package the new process is NOT there. Why is that? Can I had a new step to a package or not?
    Regards
    Dan

You must go down to the transaction leveland click and then regenerate it will then be eligible in the package for regeneration.
