Hi,
prior to all, You need to register the agent either to the solution manager directly  or to the SLD during the installation of diagnostic agent itself.
If you registered before only, you can see the agents in managed system configuration on step 4 'Assign Diagnostics Agent' -> Assign agent. Else you can see empty as in your image 2.
Please follow the below link and make sure you done registration of smd agents.

We are facing problem while starting SMD agent in Solution Manager System in I series.
The Landscape browser in the Solution Manager Diagnostics shows SMD Agent Status : Agent not found.

I just saw a different forum with NIECONN_REFUSED, his was fixed after the port number was corrected.

On the 280, 480, and 880 the pilcl/systemevent framework are used to collect information on the hardware. The SunMc config-reader depends on the picl daemon being healthy.
For SunMC 3.0 you need SunMC WGS patch 12401 and just be up to date on your SunMC jumbo patch. This specific SunMC patch is not needed in SunMC 3.5. But the Solaris patches for the picl/systemevent framework are needed......
For Solaris 8 the patches are:
    Sun Fire 280:
    Patch-ID# 110460-26 Sol8: fruid/PICL plug-ins patch
    Sun Fire V480:
    Patch-ID# 110460-26 Sol8: fruid/PICL plug-ins patch
    Patch-ID# 111792-05 Sol8: PICL plugin patch for SFV480
    Sun Fire V880:
    Patch-ID# 110460-26 Sol8: fruid/PICL plug-ins patch
    Patch-ID# 110849-12 Sol8: PICL support for SFV88
    Patch-ID# 110845-03: Sol8: ../sparcv9/ltc1427 patch
For Solaris 9 the patches are:
    Sun Fire 280:
    Patch-ID# 113025-01 Sol9: libpsvcpolicy_psr.so.1 Patch
    Patch-ID# 113573-01 Sol9: libpsvc Patch
    Sun Fire V480:
    Patch-ID# 113573-01 Sol9: libpsvc Patch
    Sun Fire V880:

    Patch-ID# 113574-02 Sol9: SUNW,Sun-Fire-880 libpsvc Patch

    Hi,
You have to add extra addon (CRT) support pack with SAP Basis support pack. It is necessary for solution manager.
Please can you tell me which support pack you are installing and what is your system version. (e.g SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP R/3 4.7 etc)

  • Error in editing object: Error in RFC to Solution Manger System

    Hi All,
Our System release is ERP 6.0 EhP4 and our DB is Oracle.
When we try to create or edit any object (eg: Function module, package, function group, tables) in our system and save it in a local workbench request, we are getting an error which states:  Error in editing object: Error in RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK to Solution Manger System.
Though we have deleted the RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK, we still get the same error when we try to edit an object and save it in a workbench request. But when we save all these in a local object instead of a package we do not get any error.
Can any one please suggest some solution for this?? As we are held up in some critical activity.
    Regards,
    Yamini.

    Hi,
Not sure - but maybe a cross system lock seems to exist. Perhaps you can check this:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_em70/helpdata/en/43/7227481a856fcae10000000a1553f6/content.htm
Or else create the Back RFC to SolMan and check how it proceeds.

    Hello Sandeep-
    Please do as follows
Install IS Agent (Wiley Introscope agent) in Solution Manger systems
Make sure wily is not running by looking for unix/windows  processes with strings like u201Cintrou201D, u201Cemu201D, u201Cwilu201D.  Uninstall wilyintroscope 7.1 by renaming the wily directory.
and deploy it with SDM it should work
    Start SDM - 9> RemoteGui.sh
    (IS Agent file is /sapcds/SMD2/ISAGENTSMD72_02-10005468.SCA)
then hit next and deploy after that you should be good to go.

    Yah i got the solution...
    scrip is
    Step 1:
    Create a table MAP_ERROR_LOG.
    Script:
    CREATE TABLE MAP_ERROR_LOG
    ERROR_SEQ NUMBER,
    MAPPING_NAME VARCHAR2(32 BYTE),
    TARGET_TABLE VARCHAR2(35 BYTE),
    TARGET_COLUMN VARCHAR2(35 BYTE),
    TARGET_VALUE VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
    PRIMARY_TABLE VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
    ERROR_ROWKEY NUMBER,
    ERROR_CODE VARCHAR2(12 BYTE),
    ERROR_MESSAGE VARCHAR2(2000 BYTE),
    ERROR_TIMESTAMP DATE
    TABLESPACE DW_OWNER_DATA
    PCTUSED 0
    PCTFREE 10
    INITRANS 1
    MAXTRANS 255
    STORAGE (
    INITIAL 80K
    MINEXTENTS 1
    MAXEXTENTS 2147483645
    PCTINCREASE 0
    BUFFER_POOL DEFAULT
    LOGGING
    NOCOMPRESS
    NOCACHE
    NOPARALLEL
    MONITORING;
    Step 2:
    Create a sequence MAP_ERROR_LOG_SEQ
CREATE SEQUENCE MAP_ERROR_LOG_SEQ START WITH 1 INCREMENT BY 1
    Step 3:
Create a procedure PROC_MAP_ERROR_LOG through OWB.
In this i have used 3 cursor, first cursor is used to check the count of error messages for the corresponding table(WB_RT_ERROR_SOURCES).
The second cursor is used to get the oracle error and the primary key values.
The third cursor is used for get the ORACLE DBA errors such as "UNABLE TO EXTEND THE TABLESPACE" for this type errors.
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE PROC_MAP_ERROR_LOG(MAP_ID VARCHAR2) IS
    --initialize variables here
    CURSOR C1 IS

  • Agent Determination error in workflow

    Hi all ,
We are working on Travel Management workflow ( 4.6 C ) . We have transported the workflow to our quality server where the workflow is giving error .
The workflow is not able to determine the agent for a task giving an error "no valid agent found" . We then executed the FM which was attached to the role which gave us the desired output .
Any inputs from your side ?
    Thanks ,
    Sonu M.

    Sonu,
Task attributes are HR data and have to be moved using a standard HR data transfer program.
Use program RHMOVE30 - enter object type TS, and your task number.  Use eval path TASKHIER.
Use the dropdown on the request parameter to create a transport request.
When you get the result list, make sure your task is selected for transport then use the option to include it in the Transport.
You should then be able to go to txn SE09 and see your task has been assigned to the transport.
You can then transport your task.
    Regards,
    Jocelyn

    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2.2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File

3.3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP.
I have been searching for notes recently implemented for IW32.

  • Query Saving takes long time and giving error

    Hi Gurus,
I am creating one query that have lot of calculations (CKF & RKF).
When I am trying to save this query it is taking long time and it is giving error like RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE, Query Designer must be restarted, further work not possible.
Please give me the solution for this.
    Thanks,
    RChowdary

    Hi Chowdary,
    Check the following note: 316470.
    https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=316470
    The note details are:
    Symptom
There are no authorizations to change roles. Consequently, the system displays no roles when you save workbooks in the BEx Analyzer. In the BEx browser, you cannot move or change workbooks, documents, folders and so on.
    Other terms
    BW 2.0B, 2.0A, 20A, 20B, frontend, error 172, Business Explorer,
    RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE, NOT_AUTHORIZED, S_USER_TCD, RAISE_EXCEPTION,
    LPRGN_STRUCTUREU04, SAPLPRGN_STRUCTURE, PRGN_STRU_SAVE_NODES
    Reason and Prerequisites
The authorizations below are not assigned to the user.
    Solution
    Assign authorization for roles
To assign authorizations for a role, execute the following steps:
    1. Start Transaction Role maintenance (PFCG)
    2. Select a role
    3. Choose the "Change" switch
    4. Choose tab title "Authorizations"
    5. Choose the "Change authorization data" switch
    6. Choose "+ Manually" switch
    7. Enter "S_USER_AGR" as "Authorization object"
    8. Expand "Basis: Administration"/"Authorization: Role check""
    9. From "Activity" select "Create or generate" and others like "Display" or "Change"
    10. Under "Role Name", enter all roles that are supposed to be shown or changed. Enter "*" for all roles.
    11. You can re-enter authorization object "S_USER_AGR" for other activities.
    Assign authorization for transactions
If a user is granted the authorization for changing a role, he/she should also be granted the authorization for all transactions contained in the role. Add these transaction codes to authorization object S_USER_TCD.
    1. Start the role maintenance transaction (PFCG).
    2. Select a role.
    3. Click on "Change".
    4. Choose the "Authorizations" tab.
    5. Click on "Change authorization data".
    6. Click on "+ manually".
    7. Specify "S_USER_TCD" as "Authorization object".
    8. Expand "Basis - Administration"/"Authorizations: Transactions in Roles".
    9. Under "Transaction", choose at least "RRMX" (for BW reports), "SAP_BW_TEMPLATE" (for BW Web Templates), "SAP_BW_QUERY" (for BW Queries and/or "SAP_BW_CRYSTAL" (for Crystal reports) or "*". Values with "SAP_BW_..." are not transactions, they are special node types (see transaction code NODE_TYPE_DEFINITION).
Using the SAP System Trace (Transaction ST01), you can identify the transaction that causes NOT_AUTHORIZED.
    Prevent user assignment
Having the authorization for changing roles, the user is not only able to change the menu but also to assign users. If you want to prevent the latter, the user must loose the authorization for Transactions User Maintenance (SU01) and Role maintenance (PFCG).
    Z1>Note
Refer to Note 197601, which provides information on the different display of BEx Browser, BEx Analyzer and Easy Access menu.
Please refer to Note 373979 about authorizations to save workbooks.
Check in the transaction ST22 for more details on the Query designer failure or query log file.

When I tried extending the seeded VO, its giving error at "Step 4 of 7". Error is "Each row in the query result columns must be mapped to a unique Query Attribute in the Mapped Entity Columns"...Even I dont modify the base query, its giving the same error. Any solution?

Its JDev10g bug...VOs with transient columns will give such error. To solve, that try renaming the alias name in sql query. Eg: PeopleName => change this alias to People_Name

  • INVOIC01 IDOC giveing error.

    Hi
I am trying to process INVOIC01 IDOC using standard SAP function module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM. Always its giving error at a particular poing as given below.

        f_subrc = 4.
        f_fieldname = 'RBKPV-ZBD1T'.
      ENDIF.
The values are  i_rbkpv-zterm  = A500 , i_rbkpv-zbd1t = 30 and all other variables in the condition are initial. This 'IF' condition always fails.
Anybody have any idea why this happens ? Any solutions/ work arounds / suggestions ? Please.
Can anybody tell me what is this i_fix_payment_terms ?
ofcource..points will be rewarded for helping answers...
    Regards,
    Krishnakumar

Check the sy-subrc value before the IF statement in debug.
It should always 0 and i_fix_payment_terms (Internal table ) will not contain any value.
Hope it will fill after that....

Re: My iMessage still says "Waiting for activation..." Jun 17, 2012 10:04 PM (in response to bradfromwinnipeg)
    Hi All,
This problem is solved for me, with some help from the carriers. At last
Let me describe my situation once again.
I am from India, where the official iPhone carriers are Airtel and Aircel.
I have two prepaid connections - One from Airtel and one from Reliance GSM
Whenever I try to activate iMessage from my Reliace SIM, it shows activation unsuccessful, the the receive at shows my email ID only.
But whenever I try activate it using Airtel SIM, it activates just fine. But since my primary connection is the Reliance one, I wanted it to get activated for Reliance.
I have tried every tweaks/restore etc mentioned in this discussion, but nothing worked.
    The solution:
This does not require any jailbreak/restore. Just a little help from the carrier.
For all reliance GSM customers in India, you can just try to activate in again. I think they have solved it for all customers.
I was almost lost hope of activating imeesage on Reliance. But then one of my friends bought a new iphone (4S). He had a docomo connection, and he also had this same issue. But using his contacts in docomo, he enabled some trace in his connection, and found out that the phone was trying to send SMS to a UK number (short code), which is blocked by their RA team.
This is that magic number : 00445773142076
So from him, I got the number. I raised a complaint with Reliance.
The complaint had nothing about imessage, but it said: "I am unable to send international SMS to the number 00445773142076, even after having sufficient balance and an active SMS plan"
So they have done some 'unblocking'  and called me this morning and asked to try again 'sending sms to the same number' . I went to settings and activated imessage and facetime/ Thats it !!!!.
A big thanks to Reliance GSM support for the quick solution.
For anyone on Reliance GSM in India, just try activating it now.
For others, log a complaint with the carrier that "you want to send SMS to the number 00445773142076.
    Thanks all
