Solution sought: fax from apps in OX 10.7, via fax modem and Comcast cable svc.
recently relocated from the rural mountains into the city... previous fax communications achieved via dedicated phone line and hp 3330mfp... now confronted with Comcast cable and the bundled services... previous fax services are now antiquated and had to be retired... intend to use apps "print to fax" capability and a 3rd party fax modem, interfacing with a Comcast high speed modem... has anyone experienced or worked their way through such an issue, or is there an alternate solution to resolve my problem??? many thanks for your attention to my question...
Almost everyone I know who asks for a fax, is perfectly happy to get a 200 dpi black+white scan in TIF format attached to an email.

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. You've logged into your account and viewed your purchase history and there aren't any error messages shown (e.g. 'problem with a previous purchase'), and you haven't got any purchases due (e.g. pre-orders and/or subscriptions) : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information ?

I deleted my iMovie from computer and from my purchases list in AppStroe. When I'm trying to download it again from App Store a pop up window comes up and says: "These apps were already assigned to your Apple ID and are available in your Purchases list". Please help me to reinstall it.
If new versions of iPhoto and the other iLife applications (iMovie and GarageBand) were purchased by the previous owner from the Mac App Store, then they will be locked to the previous owner's Apple ID and cannot be transferred to you. You will have to re-purchase them under your own Apple ID.
If this is an older MBA that came with Snow Leopard or an earlier version of Mac OS X, though, the system would have come with an installation disk that included the iLife applications, a disk which the seller should have provided to you. Those iLife applications would be older versions, of course, and may or may not work in Lion depending on how old they are.

I downloaded a game that need to pay, but after that when i want to update or download a free game from app. It opens the pilling page again, and can't download or update anything any more, why this happen?Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

SAP faxing from all-in-one (printer/copier/scanner/fax) device

We have a all-in-one printer/copier/scanner/fax (Ricoh Aficio 3025) and would like to make use of it to send fax from SAP.
I know how to set it up as a printer. But how should I go about setting it up to send fax?

Rightfax)... basically the way it works is that you create a node in SCOT for faxes and send the data to the fax server via SMTP and the fax server deliver the fax to your hardware.

Fax: sending using system 10.5.8 via internal modem
I have an iMac PPC G5 with internal modem and wireless mouse and keyboard using system 10.5.8. I have wireless internet service and also have a telephone line connected to the computer. I have attempted to fax a Word document, in doing so have gone to pdf fax via the printer and have had no success sending. When I open Fax Queue it shows that Bluetooth is printing the fax and is waiting for the modem to become available which it never does. I have unplugged my wireless connection to the internet to see if that made a difference but is no different from being connected.
Well, your printer and modem profile look exactly the same as mine, and faxing works for me.
The line in your Bluetooth profile URI: fax://dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem interests me, though. In your other thread, you mentioned that when you try to fax through the internal modem you get a message about "waiting for Bluetooth" or some such. I don't know enough about Bluetooth (my Mac doesn't have it) to know if that's what's causing the problem. But it seems plausible that there's some sort of interference. My only suggestion for now is to try disabling Bluetooth (borrow a wired keyboard and mouse if you don't have your own) and see if the problem persists.
If disabling Bluetooth fixes it, perhaps a crosspost in the Bluetooth forum might attract some responses from some more knowledgeable people on how to permanently fix it. -
Suggest a way out for download an app, when phone shows a message-----password incorrect; though i gave correct password. Even i have logged into icloud and ensured the password is correct.
You may have to either sign in to the website to confirm your account details (or do that through iTunes on the computer) or go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password again.

You could try deleting the app which is still installing. If it doens't work, hold power and home button together for more than 15 seconds to reset the phone. Once the phone is restarted, try deleting the app again. Hope this helps.

Faxing from pc hp7520 photosmart software
I have an HP Photosmart 7520 all in one. It will not fax from the pc software. It will fax fine if i do it manually on the touch screen of the printer. What am I doing wrong? It seems simple enough when I am using the software to fill in the blanks and hit "fax". Thanks

We are having Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2 on Sun Solaris 5.8. We want to do faxing from our E Business Suit. I gone through the BLOG Entry for Faxing,where i found that i need to install CPUS. Can I installed CPUS on SUN Solaris? In the BLOG posted By TIM, it's wriiten there, that it can be installed on LINUX or UNIX only. Is there any way to installed it on SUN Solaris?
What is efax 0.9 software mentioned in user guide p.no. 11-38 for installing and setting up fax for CPUS.
Do i need any third party tool to do faxing from Oracle E-Business Suite.
OR if i am using XMLP for faxing then, it will take care of all the things, no need for any third party tool.
We are having XMLP 5.0.1 which comes by default with E-Business Suit 11.5.10.2.

SunSolaris is a flavor of UNIX so you can install and may even already have CUPS, get it to the latest version you can.
The efax soluition is an open source 'driver' if you will to enable faxing via CUPS.
You will not need anything else to do faxing from apps ... just cups and efax and your fax board of course.

HP OffiectJet Pro 8600 can't fax from PC.
My PC is Windows 7 64-bit,
and I had install the "HP Officejet Pro Basic Print and Scan Driver",
I can see the two print device "HP Officejet Pro 8600" and "Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600",
the print function is working well.
But when I want to fax from my PC.
I select the "Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600" to print, but the fax dialog not display,
I only can see the print job is in the queue and waiting.
Am I missing something?

Generally speaking all such features are now integrated in OS X's Print dialog.
File > Print, choose your printer and select "Send Fax" from the dropdown menu:
Fill in the fax number and click Add to add it to the destination list:
... then click Print and your print / fax will dial the phone and send the fax.
