No puedo restaurar mi ipad me sale error 3014

Just download the lettest version of itunes from apple.com. But don’t forget to download it by providing your apple id. Trust me, it will solve error 3014.

Try hooking up to computer and doing a full restore. Or, u could put it in dfu mode and then do the full restore from iTunes.

  • ITunes Network Diags pass, but Restore fails with Error 3014 and recommended solutions risky and unhelpful

We've had routine OS updates fail recently (weeks apart)
on both an iPad mini and a 5th Gen iPod. The devices ended up in recovery mode
and we had to Restore them to factory defaults.
That is bad enough, but it gets worse...
We started iTunes, plugged in the bricked device, and were
prompted to do a Restore. Clicked OK. It ran for a while, completed the
extraction step, and the failed with unknown error 3014.
We searched support, and there is plenty written about
unknown error 3014 when doing a Restore. Most point to network connectivity
issues and things like blocked ports or conflicting security software. Sure, I
can see how those could cause problems that may be outside Apple’s control
(although doing everything over HTTPS would eliminate the issue.)
BUT, iTunes has built in network diagnostics (Help ->
Run Diagnostics… -> Network connectivity tests). Shouldn’t these tell me if
there is a connectivity problem with iTunes? The support articles all seem to
tell you to manually dive into all kinds of low level  things such as hosts files.
iTunes network diagnostics all passed, but out of
desperation, we still tried shutting off our anti-virus (Avast) and firewall
(Comodo), connecting directly to the internet without our router blocking or
filtering anything, editing the hosts file, trying a different PC, etc. as
instructed. It was all a wild goose chase – nothing helped, and Apple’s
instructions exposed us to security risks (attaching directly to the Internet
with no router, firewall or ant-virus software!)
    I can’t be 100% sure because I still had our anti-virus
SW and firewall turned off, but what seemed to finally work was to just try
dozens of times until iTunes and Apple’s servers finally worked!
After dozens of tries on two PCs over two days, the last
thing I did was to turn off our anti-virus and firewall again, started iTunes,
plugged in the device, attempted a Restore when prompted, retried when it
failed. Then closed and reopened iTunes while leaving the device attached, and
Restored when prompted. That one time, we got lucky and it worked. I’m sure
many people really have blocked ports, etc. but I can’t see how that could explain
our problems. Hopefully this posting will help someone.
    ** Apple – If you’re reading this ** Please (1) find out
why we and others in the forums report persistent 3014 errors that seem to
magically go away if you retry often enough over a long enough period of time,
and (2) make sure the iTunes network diagnostics are truly thorough, and then
direct customers to them rather than making them dig through port mapping
settings and hosts files. Thanks for your consideration.

  • Error 3014 Ipad 2 Update from ios 4.3.5 to ios 5.0.1

As the title says... I have been trying to update my Ipad to ios 5.0.1 and I keep getting the error (3014), althought my iTunes is updated to the last version, my windows is fully updated, my Ipad is directly connected to my PC's USB... I even tryed to check my host file, everything seems fine, I even tryied to update with Antivirus and Firewall disabled... nothing seems to work, and the question I keep asking is, can my Ipad 2 even update to ver 5.0.1?
    Any suggestions?
PS: My Operating System is Windows 7.

See this link hich was one person's solution http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=itunes%20error%203014%20ipad%202&source =web&cd=1&ved=0CFsQtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DDrLommT HHng&ei=imbXT_P4Ncjo8QOd7OzpBA&usg=AFQjCNFA1DXTstLiuh2xVl8HyncVO4qF1Q

  • Error 3014 (or other numbers) Fix.  Read this and cure the pain!

I kept getting iTunes error 3014 right at the end of the firmware installation on the phone, so I spent hours troubleshooting using what I found on Apple's site and on the web.
The last thing I tried, and the ultimate solution for me was to go into the hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts-open with Notepad) and delete the 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com IP address-Saurik's server (IIRC, added to enable restore of 3GS after jailbreaking).
I thought I'd have to hunt down another gs.apple.com IP address and write it in place of Saurik's IP address, or that iTunes would write it, but neither occurred, and my iPhone 4 restored to new without a problem after deleting that IP address and saving the file.

I'm getting the same error message and my Iphone 4 is not working at all. I went through many web sites (including apple)but I couldn't find an answer yet. Can anyone help us? I already tried to use 2 different computers. First I got the error 1004 and now the 3014.
    Thanks in advance

  • TS3694 iPhone 4S and IOS 6 - Error 3014

I tried to update my iPhone 4S with latest IOS 6, but I receive Error 3014. I use iTunes for Windows. My device now is in recovery mode, and is unusable!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

I had this problem as well.  But I figured out a solution that fixes it.
    1. Make sure your phone is unplugged from the computer (remove the whole USB connector from the computer)
    2. Turn your phone off.
    3. Start iTunes.
    4. Restart your phone.
    5. When its fully rebooted, plug it in the computer.
    6. Wait for iTunes to do its thing.
    7. Make sure you are logged into your iTunes account (Store menu --> View My Account).
    8. Click on Devices --> Your Phones Name.
    9. Click the "Sync" button at the bottom, and let it do its thing.
    10. Then click "Update" or "Check for Update".
Thats what made it work after a few days of pulling my hair out trying to make it work.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

    - Try another cable

  • I can´t restore my iPhone, error 3014

My iPhone appears to have an error named 3014. I can´t get to restore it..

Your profile says iOS 6.1.3. If you are trying to restore this version it is not possible. Your only option is to upgrade to 7.0.6. That is one of the possible causes of error 3014. the other common causes are:
Your antivirus or firewall is blocking access to gs.apple.com
    Your phone is jailbroken
Your computer was used at some time in the past to hack or jailbreak some device running iOS, not necessarily the device with the current problem.
