Solution to error message (0x666D743F) ?

I keep getting an annoying message since I downloaded the new version 7 of itunes. The message states: The itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (0x666D743F).
I have looked at other discussion topics and the self help page that Apple provided for this problem as many people seem to be experiencing this. However, it has been to no avail as I have performed every single "fix" that these discussions and self help page have offered and I still have no access to itunes.
I want my music back!!!

I found this solution on another board. It worked for me.
open the Control Panel
open Sound and Audio Devices
under "Speakers" click "Advanced"
now, click the "Performance" tab
drag the "Hardware acceleration" slider all the way to the right ("Full Acceleration")
hit OK, then OK, then try opening iTunes again. That seems to help most people.
If not, try:
open Control Panel
open Quicktime
click the "Audio" tab
if the "safe mode" checkbox is checked, uncheck it.
if the "Rate" is anything other that 44.1khz, make it 44.1khz.
click OK
try again.

I'm getting the error message 0x666D743F while trying to run iTunes 7.0.0.70 on my PC. I've had no problems getting it running on my PowerBook, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I've run through the cleaning instructions on these forums for installations, with no luck. Uninstalling iTunes 7 and reinstalling iTunes 6 actually works (iTunes 6 will run fine).
Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

Can you capture a crash log and send that to me?
Go to Start menu -> Run... In the dialog that appears, type in "cmd" (without the quotes). Hit OK. In the window that comes up (usually black background, white text) type in "drwtsn32 -i". Hit return.
Find the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson". (If it's not there, look in "Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson") You might need to turn on "show hidden files" to find either of these folders. (Right click "my computer", select open, select Tools menu -> Folder Options. Select View tab, "show hidden files" radio button is in the center scrolling panel.)
There should be 2 files in there with today's time and date, a .log file and a .dmp file. Send both of these files to me. It helps me keep things straight if you can also put a link to this thread in the message.

Client security solutions TMP error message on a t60 with XP

I just installed client security solutions and I’m getting the follow error message. When I go to programs and click no security solutions opens. This t60 is new to me so I’m not sure which questions to ask.
I have the fingerprint reader working
What should I ask or tell
Any advice?

Who has client security, restore and fingerprint reader all working together? I did updates and when one works the other doesn’t. If I could find all three that work I would be happy. If you give me your versions numbers that works on yours that would be great. I have a T60 running XP

Solution Manager - Error Message DSWP349 - No IBASE Components Exist ...

The subject error DSWP349 occurs when using transaction Notif_Create for a new Service Desk Message.
The error message points to the use of IB52/IB53 which has already been correctly (as far as I can tell) used to set up the IBASE components.
The error message also point to Note 824640 which I have checking out and also points to Note 1059271 from SAP Service Marketplace.
I am going to try and apply some of those notes' recommendations but as they do not seem directly relevant, am looking for any other suggestions in the meantime; for example, if anyone has an printout example of how the IBASE and its lovely components should look in IB52/IB53 that would be most appreciated !
Last point. Maybe part of the problem is that our SAP Solution Manager only links to one other internal SAP system and is not 'connected' to SAP AG (as it is an external system - this for security reasons), however we do have, for example, some external RFCs entered as part of the configuration.

The issue is now resolved, this is how I did it.
1) Removed entries from BCOS_CUST from client 000 for OSS_MSG which was pointing to the RFC name
Then got another error:
No RFC connection to the central lock information management system.
The project lock functionality is active in the local system, but there is no RFC connection to the Solution Manager system.
2a) Ran the report in SA38 TMW_CONTROL_PROJECT_LOCK with selection for Deactivate the "project lock functionality".
2) Filled the "Deactivate Project Lock" field with "X" then clicked EXECUTE.
Problem got Solved.

Client security solution TPM error message

I'm running XP on my T61 thinkpad and recently I started getting the following error message upon starting my computer:
"There was a problem connecting to the TPM (security device) on this computer. It is possible that anti-virus or firewall software is blocking the connection. A missing or disabled device driver could also cause this problem. Please refer to the online documentation for more information."
My thinkpad has also been starting to blue screen lately but I'm not sure if this is connected to the client security solution problem or not. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it!

We have uploaded a Cool Solutions report entitled 'Licensed Products Allocation' to our ZRS, and I am getting an error message ('Error executing SQL statement for : report3
ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected'). We have an Oracle DB back end and are running ZRS 5.
Can someone help me to get it to work please?

No details are provided for this error message
This usually means that certain InfoObjects are missing and required for the Transported Object to be activated.
example: Transporting an InfoSource may be incorrectly reported as successful even though certain InfoObjects do not exist on the target system and are required by the InfoSource. Later on if you transport an InfoPackage requiring these missing InfoOjects you will receive this error. So basically Transporting an InfoSource does not correctly report that there are missing InfoObjects.

Possible reasons for this error may be :
1. all the objects are not properly collected in transports .
2.The sequence of transports should be proper ex -> infoobjects,cubes,Multiprovider,Query .
3.It may happen that any one of the object is not yet transported so higher level requests are getting failed .
Please check the object and there dependency with other objects.

Hi everyone,
I've been reading all your posts about error message 2122 and so far nothing has worked. Someone mentioned looking at the compatability tab and after playing around with it, it worked! Here's what I did...
Right click on the iTunes logo on your desktop and choose the compatibility tab. I am running Windows XP, so in the first box, for compatibilty mode, I chose to run as Windows 2000.
Click OK
Cd burn worked fine!
Let me know if anyone else has success with this.

I got an error message about not being able to do this because the server was not found. I went to "help" and was told to install iphoto '08.
We have that ! Why would I need to install it?
I don't want to bother dh with this as he is about ready to throw the whole computer out as it is...so please somebody help!

Interpretation of and solution to error message

I am trying to use a PCI-5122 card in a Windows XP PC/LabView set up to receive input from a Sodium Iodide detector to create a Multichannel Analyzer for Gamma ray spectrometry. It runs for a second or so then gives an error:

Data has been overwritten in memory and ....
Status Code -200004
What does this mean, and what can I do about it? It appears that there is a lack of synchronization between the card and computer and somebody's (probably the computer) memory is getting filled and overwritten?
The Error Code vi says something like text unavailable and tells me nothing new.

Hi Gammarays,
You're performing a continuous acquisition. You might have adapted it from the Fetch Forever example. You get the error because you aren't reading the samples in the circular buffer before they are overwritten. Many scope applications acquire records with reference to a trigger. Do you in fact need the continuous acquisition or does it make more sense for your application to continuously acquire?
With regards to "playing around with the Min Sample and the Number of Samples", you should expect to see fewer problems if you set your number of samples to fetch to a higher number. Since the timeout is set to 0, if fewer samples are present than specified in "Number of Samples" they will be immediately fetched. This should correct any problems related to the acquisition. If you are still experiencing problems, it may be due to any processing you're performing on the acquired data. I'd recommend offloading the processing to another loop. I've edited the VI you attached to show how this can be done with a producer/consumer loop. Since we were seeing some issues already, I limited the size of the queue and set a timeout on the enqueue element. I also added an indicator to display whether you ever timeout (this would indicate that your processing loop is lagging behind and it can't keep up with the acquisition speed).

We have downloaded and installed the HP Photosmart full feature Sostware and Drivers to Photosmart C3183 All-in-one.

When Hp scan diagnostic utility was used - the message was: no scanners installed.

I have the same problem on a HP 5610 Officejet All-in-One.

What is the solution? The scanner does not work. All other functions, print, fax, copy work from with in the HP Solutions Center software - but not the scanner.

HP Solution Center error "flash9b.ocx failed to register"

I have a similar Flash9b.ocx faied to register problem that I have been trying to solve for several weeks.It started after I upgraded to the latest Flash Player 10.3.183.7 via the official Adobe website. After this upgrade on start up I got the following HP Solution Centre (printer software) error message:
C:\Windows:\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9b.ocx failed to register. HRESULT-2147220473. Contact your support personnel.
Further investigation confirmed that Flash Player had stopped working and where the image should be there was a blank black box. I tried reinstalling the latest version of Flash Player again but it made no difference. I was prompted to insert the original Solution Centre disk to solve the problem and although I tried this, it had no effect. I uninstalled Solution Centre including manually deleting any HP files that had been left behind and did a complete reinstall of the latest version including relevant patches from the HP website. This appears to have solved the problem as far as the Solution Centre error messages are concerned. However, on further investigation I found the Flash9b.ocx file mentioned above no longer exists but Flash Player still isn’t working.
I am running Vista (32bit) with all the current upgrades and Internet Explorer version 9.0.8112.16421 update version 9.0.2 (KB2559049)

After more than two weeks of trying, I finally found a solution to my HP Solution Centre Flash Player 10 conflict. Below is what worked for me and if you have a similar problem I hope this posting is of some use. uninstall Solution Centre & reinstall the latest version plus all the relevant patches from the HP website. Reset browser settings which in my case was IE 9 (Internet Options, Advanced tab, Reset) followed by a restart. Then uninstall Flash Player (Control Panel, Programs & Features, Uninstall) followed by another restart. Finally go to Adobe website and download the latest version of Flash Player.

Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. I am useing firefox 19.0.2 now bit I belive it started when I upgraded to firefox 18 but am not sure, it might have been when I upgraded to firefox 19 ... but it has been happening for a very long time and I cannot find any helpfule solutions online.
I have tried a Clean reinstall but it did not help.

Try pulling the battery for 10 minutes and putting it back in. Try pressing and holding the power button for a while 15-30 seconds to see if it will respond. Did anything happen to it, drop, submersion, etc. Was it functioning before you charged, When did it last work. Are you sure it charged up and the charger is working.
