[SOLVED] Blender - error loading shared libraries

Hi,
when I try to start blender on x86_64 I get error loading shared libs.
Linux spire 4.0.1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Apr 29 12:00:26 CEST 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux
community/blender 16:2.74-3
ldd `which blender` |grep not
70:    libhogweed.so.2 => not found
72:    libgnutls.so.28 => not found
75:    libx265.so.35 => not found
77:    libvpx.so.1 => not found
my systems libs:
libhogweed.so.4.1
/usr/lib/libgnutls.so.30.0.1
/lib/libx265.so.51
/lib/libvpx.so.2.0.0
I tried building with abs but ran into an error as well. Any help appreciated. My system is up to date.
regards,
Andreas

ldd lists linked libraries recursively. Use readelf -d to list direct dependencies only.
Are you're using some packages from unofficial repos or the AUR? You need to keep them up to date and recompile if needed.

  • Error loading shared libraries: libjox8.so

just started after running smoothly for a couple of months on 8i Enterprise 8.1.5 for Linux. I receive this error server side when I attempt to connect via SQLPlus from a client:
    'undefined symbol: t_pool_put_static_fld'
And, on the client side I get:
ORA-12500: TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process.
    ?????

If I attempt to connect on the server:
    sqlplusI get: ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact.
Also, I am no longer able to stop the server, cannot connect to listener whatsoever. This happenned after importing 10 tables in succession using win32 sqlldr. Is it possible the server could not handle the load and gave up the connection to the listener? How do I recover the server from this point? dbshut/start is not working.

  • [Solved] Inkscape: error while loading shared libraries

Hi! A few days ago, Inkscape started giving me this error whenever I try to launch it:
inkscape: error while loading shared libraries: libpoppler.so.48: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I reinstalled both poppler and Inkscape, but it didn't change anything. Does anyone know why it happened and how to fix it, please?

Check if you have the correct package versions and if /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.49 is present on your system.
/usr/lib/libpoppler.so.49 is present and I do have inkscape 0.91-3. And the poppler package is in 0.30.0-1.
Trilby wrote:Really, it didn't change *anything*?  How did you reinstall them?  Did you do a full upgrade (pacman -Syu), or did you just reinstalled the cached package file?  If you updated inkscape with pacman and get that exact same error message, then your mirror is horribly out of date - and apparently even out of sync with itself.
I did a few full upgrades since the problem appeared and I used "pacman -Rcsn poppler" to remove all of its dependencies (including Inkscape) at once (probably useless, but it's too late now) and installed everything again afterwards.

As with Karol's case, my inkscape (0.93-3, x86_64) links to libpoppler.so.49...
    pacman -Q poppler inkscape
    poppler 0.30.0-1
    inkscape 0.91-3
    which inkscape
    /usr/local/bin/inkscape

  • Error while loading shared libraries: libxerces-c.so.26: cannot open shared

    Hi,
    I'm trying to install SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 under SUSE_LINUX Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64).
First to all I'm trying to install Server part. So I navigate under the CD installation: /Master_Data_Server/LINUX_X64/MDM/bin/  and then execute ./mds-r.
The following error appears: error while loading shared libraries: libxerces-c.so.26: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
    libxerces-c.so.26 is located under /Master_Data_Server/LINUX_X64/MDM/lib/
    Could you please help me?
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your comment Shiv, Yes I know that MDM 5.5 is out of standard maintainence but anyway our business scenario requires SRM-MDM 2.0.
If anyone finds the same error I mentioned, It has been solved using ldconfig -v in the library directory of choice.
I'd like to ask another issue: Right now We have the following error after executing ./mdis-r or ./mds-r:
Could not open language resource file "LangStrings/ImportManagerCommon.lang". Try setting the MDM_HOME environment variable.
Could you please help me how to do if?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Saplicense -get: error while loading shared libraries: libsapu16.so

    Hi,
I installed the SAP NetWeaver04s test drive on a 64bit Linux.
After the command /usr/sap/N4S/SYS/exe/run/saplicense -get I got the error:
/usr/sap/N4S/SYS/exe/run/saplicense: error while loading shared libraries:
libsapu16.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The library libsapu16.so is in /usr/sap/N4S/SYS/exe/run/. I checked also the user rights of n4sadm and the $PATH variable. I think its all okay. What is the problem?
    Thanks,
    Roland

    Hi Markus,
Itu2019s a really stupid mistake. I changed the shell of n4sadm to bash, because the csh wasnu2019t installed. In the ~.bashrc the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not included but in the ~.cshrc. After installing csh and changing the shell of n4sadm to csh the problem is solved.
    Thanks,

svgmgrl: error in loading shared libraries: /opt/oracle/8i/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib/libclntsh.so.8.o: undefined symbol: nnflboot
I checked that the library was there but maybe it's corrupt?
Has anyone come across this before?
    Cheers,
    Michael Gannon.

this is because there is a lot of bug in oracle instalation.
the linux.sh scripts or the patches, i don't remenber, lose this file. You have to get it fron the instalation CD.
as root you have to do:
    cd /var/tmp
    unzip [oracle instalation home]/stage/Componets/oracle/networking/netclt/8.1.5.0.0/1/DataFile/LIB.0.1.jar
    unzip [oracle instalation home]/stage/Componets/oracle/rdbms/8.1.5.0.0/1/DataFile/LIB.0.1.jar
    cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
    cp /var/tmp/libdsbtsh8.so .
    cp /var/tmp/ntcontab.o .
    chmod 644 libdsbtsh8.so ntcontab.o
    chown oracle.dba libdsbtsh8.so ntcontab.o
the lib you have missed is due to oracle patches rename the bin oracle. When you try to run dbstart, oracle don't exists.
    review the LD_LIBRARY_PATH too.

Without knowing what you have installed or what modifications you have done it is not possible to say what goes wrong. Like I previously mentioned, you may have installed an incompatible version of a core system library. Sorry, I'm not going to read any installation manual to find out what you might have done wrong. You may need to reinstall the complete system or just the popt installation package.
Based on my experience people sometimes seem to misunderstanding the concept of software version requirements, which are always minimum version requirements and does not mean, for instance, software made for gcc 4.1.10 does not work under 4.1.12. You cannot simply upgrade or downgrade core system libraries without affecting the installed system. Using YUM to install software will check this and prevent you from breaking your system. RPM does not check any dependencies and hence can break your system beyond repair.
