Hi, i've got the X-Fi Fatalty Titanium Soundcard since last day and im really happy about that soundcard.
But......
Ive gotta real problem now.. when i starting a voice program like Teamspeak 3 or ICQ / X-Fire whatever..
my voice is crunshing, sounds like overdri'ved. i tried every settings on that drivers but it wont work.. and the best is.. when i start to listen myself on windows to check how my voice is on it.. it is clear and fine. Only on Voice Tools are this crap sound.. i really dont know anymore what i can do also to smash the card outta my window..
what i've tried :
All Driver / Stuff deinstalled.. cleaned with Driver Sweeper / Driver Cleaner Pro and TuneUp Registry Cleaner
and i've tried the old stuff on CD inclusi've the latest Driver for my OS (Windows XP Professional x64) "2.7.0007"
it dont work.. got the same bug
i've tried the Final Edition of Pax Drivers 200 Suit... and same thing....
at last i've tried the latest driver 2.7.0007 with the latest Console Center "2.6.09" but also.. the sound on Voice Tools always craped again..
and i got on Games like Call of Duty 4 always some sound bugs like a shot is repeat or some other sound is repeat or strange cut.
this all makes me really sad...
i would be looking forward if anyone here got a idea how to fix this problem..

FRe: Bugs with Microphone (X-Fi Soundcard) on Voice Tools (Teamspeak 3)?so... i keeped this settings as ussualy for the future for other guys they got maybe the same problems with voicetools and microphone settings on X-Fi cards..
i installed the actuallay driver settings and all programs for the X-Fi..
after that i restart my PC and going into the BIOS and activated my Onboardsoundcard.
when i start my windows again i installed the HD Realtek Drivers and Programs... after restart i choose on System--> Audio etc..
Soundinput ---> Realtek
Soundoutput ---> X-Fi
now it works for me great.. i got no Microphone bugs anymore on Voicetools and also i got a really really great sound from the X-Fi on Games and Music.
I hope i have some guys help with this art of solving that problem.. sry but i've tryied 0 different ways of Driver settings and i tryied Daniel_K Drivers / Pax Drivers and old Creative Drivers... nothing solved my problems..
oh and of course if u got some noise sounds like a pipe sound but really high and not really loud just like u can hear what the Computer is working inside your headset.. make the newest Creative Drivers on it.. there must be a new setting who Mute this sounds.. i got no signals anymore in my headset how the PC is work.. all is silence when i do nothing.. its really chilled
So.. bb and l8er for u all..
oh.. and thx for "no" support after all in the last 2 Days here..

this will be the last Creative Card for me @ Creative Firm.. no kidding.. i've payed 26? for the badest support and the badest worked drivers i've ever seen in my life.. i hope there will be more rivals in future for u.. so u can stop to think about?u can?make the worst support at?all to the clients who buy your stuff..

Adobe air 3.6 Bug With Microphone recording

ok i just tested and i would like to know if i'm the only one.... Everything work fine in 3.5. As soon as i upgrade to 3.6... The microphone only record 1 time on 3-4. Totallly random. It doesn't record at all on IOS.
Somebody got the same problem ?
really sample to test just use the microphone and addEventListener(SampleDataEvent.SAMPLE_DATA,onSampledData);
it will work 1 time on 3-5. I need this fixed asap for my release for my apps.

Alright, crazy:
I can ssh into the Mac, run the package script (adt cmomand), install the ipa, and the Mic doesn't work.
But if I sit at the Mac terminal (same user, same codebase, same machine), run the package script (adt command), install the ipa, and the Mic works!
Madness - is adt somehow sensitive to running headless? Is it getting confused as to whether the Mic is available on the host vs on the target?
BTW - I can't get the Mic working in Android under any circumstances...

[SOLVED] Bug with GTK apps - Icons didn't render correctly

Hello.
I had been experiencing a strange behaviour of GTK apps at one of my arch systems lately - Icons didn't render correctly (screens attached).
It was not critical for work but frustrating enough. Especially in firefox (notice the half-rendered formulas).
It took me quite some time to figure out that this behaviour was caused by a line
"Xft.rgba:1 "
in my .Xdefaults config. After I commented it out the bug disappeared.
Qt apps were not affected by this.
Besides, on my second arch system it didn't cause any trouble.
So, I'm not sure whether it is a bug or not.
If it is, I'm not sure whether the problem is on my side, in package or upstream.
I've decided to post it just in case somebody experience something similar.

gtk2 2.24.22-1
gtk3 3.10.6-1
gtkmm 2.24.4-1
gtkmm3 3.10.0-1
The bug was also present in:

not the warranty thats for sure.....they wouldnt fix mine due to some unrelated cosmetic damage to the dock which didnt affect performance at all but gets them out of a problem i suppose given the number of people with broken microphones

BlueTooth bug with car

Since the 4.3 update there's a big bug with the bluetooth connection with the car system - it still exists after a factory reset:
I paired the phone and the car. But every time they connect, I get a message box if I want to grant access to my phone's messages. Even the "Allow always" option does not work and I get asked every time. Very annoying!!

Hello, I'm having the same issue after updating my Xperia SP to Android 4.3 (12.1.A.0.266). In my car (Mercedes Benz A-Class from 2013) there is a radio called "Audio 20 CD" built in. Every time when I want to get into my car, my smartphone wants a connection request for my messages (SMS).The option "Always Allow" does not work. The phone does not remember the next time. I tried several times a new pairing of phone and car radio and I cleared the cache of the bluetooth-share app and smart connect app, but this didn't solve the problem. Is there a fix available? I am having difficulty getting an answer about what to do from Apple - just got off the phone with them, and they emailed me an article that was of no help at all. I have a ATT Uverse (for my internet access) acct and could not log on so I requested for password reset. They sent me temp password and I had to change my password to my Uverse acct. I use my att.net email as the log on for my Uverse acct. Per att instructions above, my Uverse acct is linked to my att.net email, so now my att.net email pw has been changed to the pw for my Uverse acct.
Accordingly, go into your iPhone Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose your Att.net mail acct and change your password. In my case I changed it to the new pw I had set up for my Uverse acct and it works.
Before doing this, I had also added new servers as shown below. The way I see it because your iPhone will try in succession to log on to each server from top to bottom of the list, it's best to add all the mail servers.
smtp.mail.yahoo.com
smtp.mail.att.net
outbound.att.net
Please note that I did not have to add "imap.mail.att.net" and my Att.net mail on my iPhone still works.

Possible bug with Triggers tab

Hi there,
I'm using 1.0.0.12.15 and think there is a bug with the triggers tab. When I navigate to my table (which has one trigger on it), and then click on the Triggers tab, the trigger shows up multiple times. It's probably not a coincidence that it shows up the same number of times that there are columns :)
Looks like a missing join condition somewhere.

SQL Developer is getting the triggers like this:

However, we got other objects (mainly tables) with the same name as the trigger. Not specifying the object type will identify them the same way as the trigger, resulting them all to be included in the select!
Adding "and do.object_type = 'TRIGGER'" will solve the problem.

Problem with a ALC888 Realtek soundcard

I have a problem with my pc and soundcard.
I have a
HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7739.sc desktop pc
with a ALC 888 sound cad.
I have set a Nvidia graphic card in the pc. And now have a pc with a lcd screen and a projektor in. But the sound dont working enymore. Only if on run the lcd screen with a HDMI cable. Somone have the same solution of that problem?
my pc run windows 7 64bit right now but before it run Vista the pc are born with Vista system
I lookend a the Hp support site and couldent find the right drivers i have tryed a vista 64 bit driver but dossent works
and tryed the realtek site but with the same sollution on.
I can see if i run the program add menu there is the driver but not in programs or down at the desktop.

Hi, Martin:
You need to go into your BIOS (Tap the F10 key at the HP splash screen). Enter your BIOS menu and if it has a device configuration menu or something like that, you need to find the menu for your onboard audio setting.
It is probably set to Auto. You need to change that setting from where it is now, to Enabled. Save the setting there and when you exit the BIOS.
Now your onboard sound should work and your HDMI sound should work.

I have encountered the most bizarre bug today. An associate is trying to debug a 1900 line package that was NOT terminating a loop properly.
The package has the code:
    Exit when x <> y;where x and y are VARCHAR2(8) variables.
The problem is that even though the values were UNequal, the loop never ended. We added dbms_output debugging code to display x and y, and we could easily see that their values were NOT equal.
For instance, one was 19824E1A and the other was 19824E2A. Or one was 19824E1A while the other was 99999999.
I even added a block of code re-testing the condition like this:
If x <> y then
    dbms_output.put_line(x||'<>'||y);
Else
    dbms_output.put_line(x||'='||y);
End if;But no matter what the values of x and y, it always reported them equal.
I found two workarounds:
1. concatenate a character (I used a period) to the end of each variable in the condition.
    Exit when x||'.' <> y||'.'2. Or, add an anonymous block before or after the Exit when..., such as:
Declare
v varchar2(2);
Begin
v := 'AB';
End;Curiously, when I replaced the v := 'AB'; with NULL;, the bug came back.
This bug occurs on Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0
I am not sure where to start to try to solve or report this problem. It pretty much destabilizes the entire PL/SQL programming foundation for all our packages. It leaves me wondering where else the code may be failing.
Has anyone seen something like this reported before?

No offense taken, SY. I was just trying to express how aware I am of the issue of comparing null values in condition statements.
All I can do here is underscore that it is not an issue with null values. The problem is with the statement in the first line. To prove that it was not null values, I coded the second line following the first:
    exit when x <> y;
    dbms_output.put_line('x='||x ||' and y='||y);The output from the run showed in the first pass through the loop, x and y were equal and were not null. So the process ran correctly that time. But in subsequent passes through the loop, they were NOT equal and were not null, but the debugging code was executed.
There is no way the values were null.
I certainly wondered about the null issue when I concatenated a character to the variables in the conditional test. But my debugging lines first confirmed that they were not null. I suspect more that the bug has something to do with the size of the package and the variables being exactly eight characters, which is 64 bits, which has special significance in many computer languages.
Regarding your concern of the variable names and scope issues, the actual variable names in the actual code can be seen below (I just used x and y for simplicity within this thread):
    LOOP
      EXIT WHEN V_LAST_PERIOD <>
          SIPK0003.COURSE_ADJUST_REC.ACAD_REC_PERIODwhile the silly anonymous block that caused the process to work, using the variable named v, was the actual code. There is no way we use simple one-character variable names in a 1900 line package. There is no way the scope of variable V extended outside the embedded anonymous block. My point was that somehow, changing the size of the compiled package object, or at least the size of the code generated for the loop process caused the package to run correctly. In fact, thinking about the
Declare V... Begin Null; End; sequence, I'll bet the PL/SQL compiler is sharp enough to notice that it was a do-nothing block, so never included it in the compiled object. As soon as I assigned V a value, the code WAS included, so the size of the generated code for the loop changed, and somehow, that caused it to run correctly.
Regarding the use of the package.record.column value above, we even copied the value to a local variable, and then used the local variable in the Exit When statement. Doing that made no difference.

Bug with highlighted text in Illustrator CS6

Hi! I use AI CS6 on a mac book pro Lion 10.7
I got a recurrent bug with the text tool.
When I selct a text sometimes the highlight totally hide my text and it's difficult to edit it! I tried CMD+H and CMD CTRL+H but nothing works, even hide bounding box...
As you can see... It's an issue to read and edit the text properly!
And even in wireframe view CMD+Y texts appear like blocs!
And besides this happen not on evry texts in the document.. I don't have a clue
Very annoying!
Anyone has the same problem? Solution is would be appreciated!

What you have done is, Switched on the "Show Hidden characters" option. U can hide it back by
Clicking on "Type" (Which will be in navigation bar) and see if u have checked in "Show Hidden Characters " if so uncheck it and your problem will be solved.
or you can also use the short cut " Alt+Ctrl+I "

When a user changed the microphone (using right click -> settings -> microphone, or Security.showSettings(SecurityPanel.MICROPHONE)) AudioPublisher still using mic with 0 index.
I look into code and find:

Or another solution. But it will be good if it work wright.

[SOLVED]: Arch64 with a 32-bit JRE

Hey guys, I'll get right to the point.
I need to run a 32 bit JVM for certain situations on this machine due to a bug with the 64 bit JRE on Linux (not Arch related).
I have tried to install the "jre-6u16-linux-i586" binary file - which did not work ("failed to extract") until after I installed the bin32-jre package from the AUR - on the official Java website. After that originally didn't work I tried using the AUR to install bin32-jre but now whenever I try to use either one of the two I get the following exception:

As a last resort, I installed a bundled 32 bit system and installed JRE via pacman inside the system (I made sure to chroot inside of it). Pacman installed the 64 bit version of the JRE and now I'm getting an UnsatisfiedLinkError whenever I try to use java because it's looking for 32-bit binaries that aren't there (there's an amd64 folder instead of an i386 one that it's looking for).
Here's the error I'm getting within the bundled 32 bit system:

EDIT:
Solved it by adding the 32 bit VM to my PATH inside the chroot. Much thanks to derrida and jelly12gen for the assistance via IRC.
Execute this command as root inside the bundled 32 bit system chroot:
export PATH="opt/java/bin:$PATH"
I was unable to get it to work inside the 64 bit installation, but running it inside the chroot works just fine.

The chroot has its own /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow, so yes, you need to recreate the user there. It would be kind of silly if the chroot used the same config files as the real /, wouldn't it
And if you recreate that user, you'll probably want to copy over your real .bashrc and make a slight modification to the PS1 line.

Bugs with iOS 4.0.1?

I'm having trouble saving the changes I made to my note. It seems to me that iOS 4.0.1 may have bugs with the "Notes" software.

Bug with MacOsX Lion 10.7.3

We needed months to solve the issue with Lion 10.7.2.
Finally it worked.
Now Lion is 10.7.3.
And Adobe Connect goes crashign everywhere.
Please solve this bug, because we work with your software and is absolutely inacceptable that everytime we have to wait weeks or months to solve bugs.
The software should be updated before Lion new version goes public.

SBH 52 headphones with microphone

I used this device and everythink works fine except one thing. When i connect my headphones with microphone (Xiaomi Piston 2.0) , then is using SBH52 build-in microphone instead of that which is in my headphones. I tried googling this problem, but without any success. Had i something wrong configured, or this device cant handle a external microphone? Thanks for replies...
