[SOLVED] Citrix client GlobalSign Root CA

I have just installed Citrix Client but am getting the error message "You have not chosen to trust GLobalSign Root CA, the issuer of the server's sercurity certificate (SSL error 61)."  I have copied the mozilla certificates too /usr/lib32/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/
Does anyone know if this is the right place? Or is there something else that could be wrong?
Thanks

  • [SOLVED] citrix-client wfica fails

    Hi,
    I have installed the latest citrix-client from AUR and followed the instructions for copying in the .ini files, and have updated my Arch system today.  I am running on x86.
    When I try and run a Citrix app in Firefox, nothing happens.  If I run Firefox from a terminal and click a citrix launcher link I get the following output:
    execv wfica failed
    The launcher link is a .aspx link which returns some html with javascript that replaces the document.location with a link to the .ica file.
    Any ideas on what the issue might be or how I could debug further.  I have spent the last couple of hours searching for similar issues online.

    I had this same problem. I solved it by deleting /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/npica.so, restarting Firefox and associating the ICA file to /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfica.

  • Problems with downloading citrix client

    Does anybody have any experience with downlading a citrix client (to use for work) for macbook? I have tried everything. At first I thougt my problem was java, but it turned out not to be. Then I called the support, they told med to try downloading flash player, but that didn't solve the problem either.
    I'm using Safari and I would like to keep it that way. I went throug some earlier discussions, in which I saw, that it is possible to use Citrix with Safari, but how?

    The Citrix utility should automatically launch when it needs to (sort of like how your PDF viewer will open or Word will open when you select them in a browser).  Your office most likely has a web portal for you to login to.  They should have provided you with all of the information for logging in.
    You'll want Citrix Receiver from here:
    http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/lp/lp_2309126.asp?ntref=DLpromo1
    After you install it, it won't really do much.  You'll want to connect to your company's network per whatever instructions they have provided to you.

    Could somebody point me in the right direction.

  • Report on CITRIX clients

    Hello There,
    I have got different versions of CITRIX clients installed in my environment, there are almost 70 different versions.
    I want to generate a report with the machine name and citrix version installed on it, please suggest.
    Regards,
    Maqsood
    Maqsood Mohammed Senior Systems Engineer MCITP-Enterprise Admin & ITILv3 Foundation Certified

    I can do that but again i am going to need to click on every version for the list.
    that's why i was thinking if i can run the report based on CITRIX and have every version on the same page.
    You will need to write custom report for that.
    I've already created something similar so I can share.
    Just put collection ID in there for the collection you want to run this against and use report builder to create the report:
    SELECT dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.Publisher0, dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.DisplayName0,
    dbo.v_R_System.Netbios_Name0, dbo.v_FullCollectionMembership.CollectionID,
    dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.Version0
    FROM dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS INNER JOIN
    dbo.v_R_System ON dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.ResourceID = dbo.v_R_System.ResourceID INNER JOIN
    dbo.v_FullCollectionMembership ON dbo.v_R_System.ResourceID = dbo.v_FullCollectionMembership.ResourceID
    WHERE (dbo.v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.DisplayName0 LIKE N'%Citrix Receiver%') AND (dbo.v_FullCollectionMembership.CollectionID = N'Your Collection ID goes here')

  • Citrix Client M/c Not Responding - Windows 2000 Server

    Hi all,
    I have Windows 2000 Server with Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe 1.8 for Windows 2000 running on it. We are using Oracle Apps 11i and Oracle 8i on Sun Solaris 8.
    The Citrix Clients are Win 95/98 m/c running ICA32. The ERP Application is run by the clients through Citrix Server using IE5.0
    Some of the forms are not responding always when client is using citrix technology but the same client(s) can run the application when he is using his own IE5.0
    Can somebody help us out. Is it supported by Oracle Apps 11i or not. Or some fine tuning is to done or some patches are required to be downloaded.
    Thanks in advance.

    Is this a true Apps 11i environment? Why do you need to go through Citrix instead of direct browser access?

  • HT5012 Hi. I get the message 'globalsign root ca not trusted ' on my iphone - any ideas please.

    Anyone know what 'globalsign root ca not trusted' means.

    Apple lists the GlobalSign CA as a trusted rootCA on http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5012
    Badgrammar, where are you seeing the root CA not trusted message? We are using globalsign certs just fine on webservers accessed through Safari - however we are getting a not trusted message when connecting to a wireless controller with a GlobalSign cert on it. Not sure if this is GlobalSign's issue or Apple's?

  • New XenApp (Citrix) Client

    Hi,
    Just thought I would test the newer 11.2 XenApp webclient for launching applications via the NAL. When I launch an app the XenApp connecting to application comes up but then disappears. If I check the 'wfcwin32.log' files it shows the following;
    Unable to launch your application. Contact your help desk with the following information: Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server.
    An I/O (Input/Output) error occurred while your request was being processed. Try to connect again. If you continue to receive this message, contact your Citrix administrator.
    If I uninstall the XenApp webclient and reinstall version 11 it works fine.
    Anyone got the new XenApp webclient working with ZFDAgent 7 SP1IR4?
    Thanks,
    Gareth

    Hi Gareth
    I have been experiencing the same issue since September and after some initial troubleshooting gave up and stuck with the v11 client. Today though I decided to have another crack at it and have found the answer. The problem is that Zen writes the ICA file for the XenApp client. This file contains information which is no longer used, or wanted, by the 11.2 client. After reading a few Citrix KBs I started editing the IcaDefaultSettings.ini file in C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks. This partially build the ICA file. Basically I have ended up with a ini that looks like this:
    [WFClient]
    HttpBrowserAddress1=<Your Server IP>
    HttpBrowserAddress2=<Your Server IP>
    [Application]
    Address=
    InitialProgram=
    ClientAudio=On
    AudioBandwidthLimit=1
    Compress=On
    TWIMode=On
    TransportDriver=TCP/IP
    WinStationDriver=ICA 3.0
    Before testing make sure you clear out the ini files in C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\ICAClient
    You should be good to go from here.
    Just for some reference into the root cause: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX123100
    Let me know how you go.
    Cheers
    Matt

  • [Solved] Unable to find root device

    Hi guys,
    it's been three days now that my laptop refuses to boot with a message from systemd like this:
    ERROR: device 'UUID=xxx...' not found. Skipping fsck.
    ERROR: Unable to find root device 'UUID=xxx...'.
    You are being dropped to a recovery shell.
    That said, keep in mind that I'm saying "three days" just because it's in the past two days that I've spent most of the time searching in the Internet for a solution of what seems just to be a well-known, very common problem, especially when it arises after a kernel upgrade (as in my case).
    But believe me, I've been trying this and that through the live Arch Linux environment, but without the slightest improvement: regeneration of the initramfs, regeneration of /etc/fstab, reconfiguration of GRUB (although this was clearly unhelpful, since the problem arises when the kernel has already been booted), small changes in the hooks in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf, small changes to some modules loaded at boot, downgrading linux... Nothing works.
    I'm now writing from another computer, so I cannot post the entire output of useful commands now, but if you need to know something I will give you the necessary information.
    In the meanwhile, notice that I use Linux LVM partition with logical volumes formatted with Btrfs, without encryption.
    It's strange that even with the dowgrade from Linux 3.18.3 (the one after whose installation the system was unusable) to 3.18.2 the problem still remains.
    However, the only thing I managed to take from my system is the output of dmesg, obtained from the recovery shell, after having set the debug settings for systemd in the kernel command line before booting.

    Guys, I think I've found the strange thing.
    First, in the recovery shell, when I type "lvm lvscan", it prints:
    WARNING: lvmetad is running but disabled. Restart lvmetad before enabling it!
    and then it says that all four my logical volumes root,boot,home and var are inactive.
    So I tried to set them up manually, with "lvm vgchange -a y", and guess what happened: I was able to boot!
    I still haven't managed to understand the real causes of this problem, but basically it seems that I have the same problem explained here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=184340.
    The only difference is that there the OP says to have solved the problem with an upgrade to Linux 3.15.7, while it appeared to me with the upgrade to 3.18.3, and as I said it doesn't go away neither with a downgrade nor with another upgrade to version 3.18.4

  • [SOLVED] Need to change root password - current one doesn't work

    Hey everybody,
    Not sure where to put this, so I apologize if it's in the wrong forum.
    I just installed Arch on my Dell netbook and all is well, except for issues with the root password. I am having a great deal of difficulty getting it to work. I know for a fact that I am typing it correctly. However, I did have trouble getting it set during the installation. When I try several times, I have gotten it to work, but I am getting tired of having to do that, and now I can't seem to get it to work at all. I have even tried a different keyboard, but with no luck.
    Is there any way to change the root password short of a reinstall?
    Thanks in advance for any help, but please keep in mind that I am relatively new to Linux and would greatly appreciate detailed instructions.
    Jeff

    Solved. Should anyone else have this issue, I solved it by entering this command:
    sudo passwd root
    I set a new password and it seems to work fine.
    Didn't know if it was possible to change the root password that way, but glad it worked!

  • [Solved]NFS Client Not Mounting Shares

    Here is my setup:
    I have two Arch boxes that I am attempting to setup NFS shares on.  The box that is going to be the server is headless FYI.  So far, I have installed nfs-utils, started `rpc-idmapd` and `rpc-mountd` successfully on the server, and started `rpc-gssd` successfully on the client.
    The folder I am trying to share is the /exports folder.
    ls -l /exports
    produces
    total 8
    drwxrwxrw-+ 110 daniel 1004 4096 Dec 6 17:26 Movies
    drwxrwxrwx+ 13 daniel users 4096 Jan 8 19:12 TV-Shows
    On the server:
    /etc/exports
    # /etc/exports
    # List of directories exported to NFS clients. See exports(5).
    # Use exportfs -arv to reread.
    # Example for NFSv2 and NFSv3:
    # /srv/home hostname1(rw,sync) hostname2(ro,sync)
    # Example for NFSv4:
    # /srv/nfs4 hostname1(rw,sync,fsid=0)
    # /srv/nfs4/home hostname1(rw,sync,nohide)
    # Using Kerberos and integrity checking:
    # /srv/nfs4 gss/krb5i(rw,sync,fsid=0,crossmnt)
    # /srv/nfs4/home gss/krb5i(rw,sync,nohide)
    /exports 192.168.1.10(rw,fsid=0)
    On the client:
    showmount -e 192.168.1.91
    Export list for 192.168.1.91:
    /exports 192.168.1.10
    Everything is looking hunky-dory.  However, I go to mount using
    sudo mount -t nfs4 192.168.1.91:/exports /mnt/Media
    and the mount never takes place.  It sits there and does nothing.  I CAN, however, kill the process with Ctrl-c.
    So does anybody have ANY idea why my shares aren't working.
    EDIT: Just thought I should mention that all of the data in the /exports folder is a mount --bind from /mnt/media.  All of the /mnt/media is contained on a USB external hard drive.  I did notice that there is an ACL.
    getfacl /exports
    getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names
    # file: exports/
    # owner: root
    # group: root
    user::rwx
    group::r-x
    other::r-x

    I found what the problem was.  Apparently rpc_gssd was causing a problem.  Stopping it fixed everything.

  • [solved] NFS client will not work correctly

    I have all my $HOME on an NFS Server. So long I used suse and debian, now I want switch to arch but the nfs-client ist not working correctly:
    I start "portmap nfslock nfsd netfs" over rc.conf. When I do a "rpcinfo -p <ip-arch-system>" I got the following
    stefan:/home/stefan # rpcinfo -p 192.168.123.3
       Program Vers Proto   Port
        100000    2   tcp    111  portmapper
        100000    2   udp    111  portmapper
        100021    1   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100021    3   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100021    4   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100003    2   udp   2049  nfs
        100003    3   udp   2049  nfs
        100003    4   udp   2049  nfs
        100021    1   tcp  48988  nlockmgr
        100021    3   tcp  48988  nlockmgr
        100021    4   tcp  48988  nlockmgr
        100003    2   tcp   2049  nfs
        100003    3   tcp   2049  nfs
        100003    4   tcp   2049  nfs
        100005    3   udp    891  mountd
        100005    3   tcp    894  mountd
    As you see "status" is missing, so the statd is not running. It sould look like the result on my suse box:
    stefan:/home/stefan # rpcinfo -p 192.168.123.2
       Program Vers Proto   Port
        100000    2   tcp    111  portmapper
        100000    2   udp    111  portmapper
        100024    1   udp  32768  status
        100021    1   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100021    3   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100021    4   udp  32768  nlockmgr
        100024    1   tcp  35804  status
        100021    1   tcp  35804  nlockmgr
        100021    3   tcp  35804  nlockmgr
        100021    4   tcp  35804  nlockmgr
    There is the "status" line and so the statd is running.
    How can I fix that problem, so that statd ist running on my arch box too?

    The Problem ist solved.
    I use ldap for authentication. During the setup of the ldapclient I copied the nsswitch.ldap to nsswitch.conf. But the line for "hosts:" was:
    hosts:          dns ldap
    but in my dns ist no localhost entry. After I changed this line to:
    hosts:          files dns ldap
    everything was ok. The statd is now running and I can start to migrate to archlinux ;-)

  • [Solved] Can't boot, root device not found

    I recently performed an update of udev and my kernel and after this I am unable to boot the normal kernel or the fallback. When I try I get this error:
    ERROR: Unable to find root device '/dev/disk/by-uid/03619a2f-908f-4724-ba4b-1fb3985e382b' You are being dropped to a recovery shell Type 'exit' to try and continue booting sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
    Typing exit results in me dropping to another shell and if done repeatedly a kernel panic. I attempted to boot via the grub console using the sda device block but I came up with the same error. When I look in /dev through the recovery console that comes up the sda* blocks aren't present.
    I need to know if there is a way to do this without entirely reformatting my system, I also don't have easy access to another computer but I have an android phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    This has been solved.
    For anybody's reference:
    From the recovery shell I had to load the modules ahci and sd_mod and that got the sda* to appear in /dev. After that I had to mount /dev/sda3 (my root partition) under /root and /new_root and then enter 'exit' to continue booting.
    Pretty much:
    modprobe ahci
    modprobe sd_mod
    mount /dev/sda3 /root
    mount /dev/sda3 /new_root
    exit
