Hello,
The problem is resolved. I downloaded the version 2.0.0.9 of Firefox directly from the Mozilla website, and unzip the archive in my home directory.
I remake a test for printing with the dokuwiki and everything is OK, with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9.

I have removed and reinstalled ink cartridges, the head, unplugged, cleaned, etc. etc.

It seems to be a bad print head, or it needs manually cleaned with lint free cloth and water. If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact HP Support (1800-474-6836).

There is a problem with the printer or ink system.
Will not print. Turn it off then back on; will print one document, but not the last page. Try printing only the last page, but will not print. Will not print one page documents at all. Will not print more than one document without repeating this process.
First Error message: "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If you continue to get this message, contact HP." Out of warranty.
Tried this page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03081973

Now that the ink cartridges are removed as instructed, the carriage will not return to the center of the access area.Hey @KennyBee51,
Thanks again for getting back to me regarding this issue.
I would have to agree that the HP Officejets Printhead system is defective. I would recommend at this time that you contact our Technical Support queue by phone to explore additional hardware options.

I have a photosmart 7520 experiencing the following issues.
Problem #1: Randomly all the lights start to blink off and on and the display reads the following :
Error . There is a problem with the printer. Turn printer off then on.
I cannot find any one action that triggers this to happen.
Problem #2: When the printer is turned on and idle, also at RANDOM times, the printer will "Ding" followed by the wireless light blinking. Then what sounds like the cartridges being cleaned, then a sound like the feeder spinning or the print head running full track from side to side, then ending with a "Ding" and then returning to normal.
When this occurs, the wireless connection is disconnected then reconnected. Also this Disables the "Scan to computer" function to all the computers on the network and requires manually re-enabling all .
From what I can tell the printer is restarting itself.
It is plugged directly into the wall outlet, no surge protector.
Tech support has already run me through the clean the print head steps, escalated me up the chain, and ultimately replaced the printer with a brand new one.
THE NEW PRINTER IS DOING ALL THE SAME THINGS AS THE PREVIOUS ONE.
This printer is connected wirelessly to a Netgear N900 router. My computers all running Windows 7, all are on the same network and workgroup and all are running Mcafee Total Protection.
If anyone is or has experienced the same or similar problems, I could sure use some help.
This question was solved.
View Solution. How did you fix this?
I replaced an HP printer recently for a new Photosmart 7520 after a complete ink container emptied into the printer.
The old printer sometimes had difficulties switching it on and the new printer has the same problem.
Also the wireless connection regulary drops and can only be reenabled by switching of the printer and switching it back on, only this sometimes takes more than ten minutes before a simple push on the power button is translated in a power on of the printer.
Since the previous printer also suffered from these "power" issues, I think the problems are power related, but I have to check this first before I can say anything more about this. -
Error message "there is a problem with the printer turn the printer off than on again"
I have a new HP 7525 HP photosmart printer, went to use it to find all lights flashing with an error message on screen " There is a problem with the printer. turn the printer off than on again" this does not resolve the problem.. unable to clear this error message! Unable to use this printer!!!!

There is a problem with the printer
Every day the printer comes on (out of sleep) and displays "there is a problem with the printer. Turn the printer off then on. ", why is this happening every day??
This question was solved.
View Solution. This problem got resolved, eventually. Although hp tech sent me to HPInstant Ink and they "reset" my printer, the error message returned in a couple of days, and continued daily. Another call to Tech Support/InstantInk advised me to return the printer for an exchange (it is 60 miles one way to return). We decided to install the Instant Ink cartridges as a last ditch effort to resolve the error messages, and it worked. No error messages. I have put the original ink cartridges back in the printer so I could use those up. Still no error messages and this printer is now working fine. PERSONAL OPINION: When we enrolled in instantink, hp tried to contact our printer via wireless (whatever) and when it was unable to an error message occurred EVERYDAY, after installing the instant ink cartridges a connection was made to hpinstantink completing the enrollment process.

Problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off message.
A message on the printer reads that there is a problem with the printer or ink cartridges. I turned off printer several times, I have replaced cartridges. At the bottom it says to contact HP. What do I do to get my printer working again? I also need to delete other printers that are listed as ones that I can use. I don't have any idea about these other printers other than the HP printer 6700, All in one.

Having problem with the printer with type "PDF Publisher"
Hi,
We are having problem with printing PDF reports with print style as "PDF Publishrer". The concurrent program errors out after it generates the report. But when we try that with style "PORTRAIT" then it prints successfully. We have tried with a number of printers and a number of reports. The results are same. So my understanding is it has something to do with the printer configuration from the EBS side.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
PratapHi Hussein ,
Thanks for the response. The details are provided below.
The application is R12.1, Database 11.1.0.7, OS is Solaris 10.
The database characterset is US7ASCII.
The printer type is --PASTA Universal Printer Type
The log file does not give any error but the program completes with error. I am coping the log file below.

Hi,
I have a HP PSC 1410 All-in-One printer, it's been working fine but a few days ago it just stopped printing...
- i rebooted both, the mac and the printer several times
- changed usb ports
- bought another usb cable
- and finally I followed an assitant that comes with the printer's sofware and it says that the printer in not found.
I called HP twice and after troubleshooting for a while they ended up telling me that their last software for mac is called 10.4 Universal and it goes up until 10.4.7, not higher than that.
I guess this is posible but I figure that a lot of other people must be having the same problem... is there something I can do from the computer's side? Because they told me that there's nothing like a patch or update for the printer's software yet... still hard to believe.
Thanks for the help!Hi there jpfresno & Klaus1,
I think it worked. I repaired the disk and the permissions, took the disk out, restarted the computer and run disk utility again just in case. This came up:

This means I'm ok, right?
What did I do to mess up the HD?
Now, going back to the printer, I tried it again (is how this started in the first place), and it's still not found and I don't know how to add it back to the list on the browser... can you help me with that?
thanks for the help, you guys are awesome.... -
What is the problem with the printer dialogue?
I am running OS X 10.4.11 on a G5 Powermac w 1.5 GB RAM, and Photoshop CS3. For as long as I can remember, printing anything from Photoshop has produced the dialogue box: "The image is larger than the paper's printable area and some clipping could occur.", and I have to click out of it to proceed with the printing. It doesn't matter whether what I'm printing is, in fact, brushing the edge of the paper, or is, rather, a picture of an airmail stamp dead center, reduced to half-size. I get that dialogue every time. Is there any way to get rid of it? I can tell you that it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the actual size of the image I am printing; it just adds one more step to the process.
The message is indeed generated by the printer driver.
Printers have default margins they have to observe. If the image exceeds their boundaries, you WILL get that message. Period. End of story.
