[SOLVED] Htop only shows last 2 system load values

I have the latest htop (1.0.3) installed on my desktop. The system load meter only shows the last 2 (5 and 15 minute) load averages. Top and uptime display all three values.
How can I get htop to display all three load averages?

I had searched my filesystem for a htoprc before, I'm not sure why I couldn't find it at that time.
I can't find any fields that seem to be related to this in the htoprc.

There are a couple of things that could be deleting mail messages.
In Mac's Mail app click on the Mail > Preferences menu item. Now select your offending mail account from the Accounts list. Now click on Advanced. There is a setting to "remove copy from server after retrieving message." The Mail app will delete messages from your email service based on this setting. This will not delete messages from your computer.
If you are losing messages from your computer then click on Rules in Mail's Preferences, then check each "rule" to see if there is one that could be deleting messages. Click on the rule and then on Edit to see the rules criteria
Example of a rule that would delete messages:
If neither of these is your problem I suggest you check with Yahoo to see if there is a setting on their service that could be deleting messages.

I have a question about the suggestion that only the last tab loaded shows up so Firefox can load faster.

My question is this:
If I do as you suggest in the General Tab of Preferences - see below - how do I get all the other tabs back if only the last one shows? If they are hidden, I need to know how to access them.
Your directions which I need help with....Don’t load tabs until selected. Voila! Now, only the last tab you were working in will be loaded on startup.

The Tabs are all there, the only thing this preference does is tell firefox to only download the open tab. If you click on the other tabs, they will download too. The theory is, by only downloading and displaying one webpage, it can be displayed for you faster than if 5 webpages were being downloaded at once.

[SOLVED] Inkscape bug after last system update

After the last system update I started to have problems in Inkscape when I tried to adjust the color and alpha sliders to maximum values. They would only go up to 245. This means that a lot of basic colors are not achievable anymore, and the opacity cannot be set to maximum, which basically makes Inkscape unusable. After googling it for a while, I understood that there was a similar problem some time ago with Inkscape version 0.46-7 and GTK+ (here is a far better description of the bug, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=467431), but this problem was assumably fixed in a later version (for the Red Hat package anyway). I am using at the moment Inkscape 0.46-10 and GTK2. Anyone with similar problems? Please help and thank you very much!

under the fill and stroke dialogue (ctrl-f), there is a small input box called RGBA which is just that, 1 byte for each channel. edit it at will. you will notice the sliders dont go past 245, but the value used by inkscape is the hex number there

ITunes only showing last 12 podcasts made

I use blip.tv to make my podcasts, and for some reason itunes will only show my last 12 episodes. I have looked through their settings but cannot find anything to change, and blip say that they do not limit posts.

You are not alone! Although my RSS seems correct iTunes Store does not seem to be displaying my uptodate feed.

Interesting we both use Feedburner, I had a similar issue twelve months ago and after going round and round trying to find where the fault was it turned out to be feedburner! I've posted a question on the forum so we'll see if it is them.

Thunderbolt SSD only shows in System Information

I bought an external Elgato Thunderbolt SSD (128GB). After a few months, I decided to turn FileVault on. I shouldn't have done this because it broke my SSD.
I was origionally able to fix it by using Terminal to turn off the ecryption and zero the drive. However, it then broke again and now it only show's up in System Information listed as a Thunderbolt adaption.
It does not appear in Finder or the Disk Utility, it does not show up in Terminal as "core storage", nor does "diskutil list" find it so I can erase is.
Is there any way at all to fix this SSD?

Try connecting it to another mac or even a Windows PC, if you can find a PC with Thunderbolt port, and see if it shows on that other computer. If it doesn't then the drive itself has failed. This is not uncommon for SSDs. Or it could be the enclosures electronics that have failed. Since this must be a fairly new drive, being TB and a SSD, it might still be within the warranty period. Contact the manufacturer to see if you can get it replaced under the warranty.

[Solved] SDDM only shows background screen

All's in the title: at startup, SDDM only shows the background screen, without any list of users (which have UIDs starting from 1000) or login prompt.
As a comparison GDM works fine, whereas KDM just gave a black screen (but I gave up on it as this is for a new install so I'm going straight to KF5).
Any help would be welcome.

There was none (ArchWiki explicitly states that everything should work out of the box). Issue was fixed after a couple of logins via GDM -- probably some account initialization issue(?).

Bridge email only showing last 20 messages -ideas?

just started yesterday but when the Playbook bridges to my BB and the view is All Messages it only loads the last 20 messages to see. I have 3 personal email boxes and 1 work email set up. all functions on BB with respect to email work fine. when you open email you can edit and reply fine. i individually selected each email box and it is one that seems to have problems and wont load. any ideas? happen to others? solution?

we have one playbook bridged with a tourch, 1 BES account 1 pop account. Tourch firmware is up2date, playbook firmware up2date, bridge version is last available.
Suddenly i am also able to see only the last 20 entries of the BES account
Did someone have any ideas?
tried: unpaired, deleted bluetooth entries, new pairing, hard reset of playbook and tourch
When i pair the playbook with another tourch everything works fine. Could it be the numer of emails in the BES account (885 emails)?

Rtcsqssummary table only showing last 25 created CSQ entries

We have a wallboard that is pulling CSQ stats from the rtcsqssummary table.
Its currently only showing the last 25 created CSQs on the wallboard. We have approximately 101 configured. Is there a limit to this table or is it configurable? We are running CCX version 9.0.2.10000-71.
Running this command and only 25 entries appear.
admin:run uccx sql db_cra select count (*) from rtcsqssummary
(COUNT(*))
25
However its showing 101 configured and active.

That table only updates on the current 'active' node. If you have HA, maybe check the table on the other node, you may be looking at stale data on the secondary from last time it was active.
Otherwise... something odd is going on. There's no max, and no config, it may be reboot time ;-)

Mailbox auditing log search only shows last 7 days

I have mailbox auditing turned on for a mailbox, and the audit log age limit is set to 90 days. When I run the non admin user access report however it only shows me auditing items for the past 7 days. If i go to powershell, and run search-mailboxauditlog
it shows the same 7 days. Any suggestions?

Mailbox audit logs are generated for each mailbox that has mailbox audit logging enabled. Log entries are stored in the Audits subfolder of the audited mailbox Recoverable Items folder. This ensures that all audit logs are available from a single location,
regardless of which client access method was used to access the mailbox or which server or workstation an administrator used to access the mailbox audit log. If you move a mailbox to another Mailbox server, the mailbox audit logs for that mailbox are also
moved because they're located in the mailbox.
By default, mailbox audit log entries are retained in the mailbox for 90 days and then deleted. You can modify this retention period by using the

Wiki Server: Subscribe in iTunes option - only showing last 20 episodes

I have enabled Podcasting on a particular blog. We are using SL Server 10.6.8.
The blog has 36 posts with attached media. However, when I click on the "Subscribe in iTunes" button and click on GET ALL episodes, it only picks up the last 20 episodes. I assume it is because, on the blog itself, it is just showing the latest 20 posts and you have to click on the next page to see the rest.
The Podcast url link goes like:
itpc://ourdomain.edu/users/username/blog/index.its
What happened to the rest? Or how will I configure subscribe in iTunes button so that it'll pick up the entire collection.

I don't have a solution, just piling on to the complaint.
I subscribe to several weekly shows. They work fine for a few weeks then (POOF) the automatic download stops. I go back to the sites they originate from, the content is there. There aren't any message boards or blogs so I can't tell if this is just me or rampant. But this has happened to so many different podcast subscriptions . . . actually I can't think of one podcast subscription I have that has sustained continuously. They all have done it.

Calendar Search only showing last year's entries

If I do a search in the calendar, the results are only shown for the past 12 months or so. How can I get the Iphone (3GS) to show all results? I read about an option in the iPhone settings (calendar) but it's not there.
Any suggestion?

That may be its limitation, as spotlight searches calendar events in a two-year window. It will reveal results from one year in the past and one year in the future. If an event has recurrences that fall in this range, it will find the event that is closest to the current date.

[SOLVED] System load on idle is ~.30 after update

After doing an update my system load now hovers around ~.30 when idle. I have a pretty mininal system so this shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Before the update my system load would usually read 0.00 0.01 0.05 when It was idling. Now it seems to jump at random times.
Conditions which seem to produce a higher load are when:
MPD is playing a song, Having it run while stopped does nothing
A program is running that measures the system load such as htop or i3status
Firefox is running. It seems to effect the load more now (but I could be wrong on this one)
Even without X running, if I have htop or top running the system load spikes randomly. If I check it periodically with uptime the load stays at 0.

litemotiv, luuuciano: I agree that the "solution" is not a very good one, but, taking the stated problem and context of where it was posted into consideration I think that "[SOLVED]" is appropriate. My system load no longer idles at a high number (which was the originally stated problem in the subject field) and this subforum is particular to pacman upgrading issues, not to linux kernel issues. But if you really think that I should remove the tag, then I will, because, based on your post counts, you two obviously have more forum experience than I do.

The following are the prerequisites needed to get the workload monitor(st03) working.
1)      The system time zone of the SAP and the Operating system has to be same. This can be done by customizing time zones of the SAP using the Tcode STZAC.
2)     All the standard background jobs has to be scheduled to run. This can be done by scheduling the standard background jobs using the Tcode SM36.
3)     The following parameters has to be added to the instance profile.

Can you open Applications by navigating to the Applications folder via the Finder? When you write that your computer doesn't show icons, do you mean your Dock icons? Can you see the Dock as all?
