[SOLVED] Messages (errors?) when exiting openbox

I start openbox from the command line with the startx command. My .xinitrc consists of:
exec openbox.session
After exiting I have the following two lines on my console that I don't understand:
which: no hsetroot (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin/core_perl)
which: no esetroot (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin/core_perl)

Do you have hsetroot installed?
esetroot is in the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=4537

Hi Uday,
This problem can occur if you changed the query definition.
In this case the query definition would be inconsistent with the existing extract structure.
Certain Meta information is maintained with each extract defined using the RSCRM_BAPI. If the definition of the query is changed and you need to use the same extract table then you need to delete the extract using the report RSCRMBW_DEL_ALL_EXTRACTS selecting the extract you want
to delete.
After this you could use the same table name for any further extract that you need to create.
One caution is that the extract table should not be deleted through any other transaction before you run the report.

I also experience this weird "An internal error has occurred" when quitting Acrobat 8.1.2 its there since the very minute i updated from 8.1... now i wish i could revert the update...
UPDATES ARE SUPOSED TO IMPROVE THINGS NOT BREAK THEM !!
Can anybody solve this ? I dont want to be force-quitting acrobat forever...

---- PROBLEM SOLVED IN MY CASE ------
this is what i did:
I have Acrobat 8.0.0 installed as a part of Creative Suite CS3 installation...
1- i ran the Creative Suite CS3 installer
2- i choose UNINSTAL Acrobat 8 only, leaving the rest of CS3 suite installed, its very important to UNINSTALL and not REINSTAL or REPAIR as REINSTALL or REPAIR doesnt help anything...
3- after UNINSTALLING Acrobat 8 i used DiskOrder (or any good file manager which can search inside hidden and system folders) and searched for the word "Acrobat"
4- i got about 70 results (mostly folders in Prefrences, Cache, etc.) i deleted manually everything related to Acrobat - that was pretty risky but i was lucky...
5- i ran Creative Suite CS3 installer which gave me a new option INSTAL ACROBAT 8.0
6- INSTALLED ACROBAT 8.0 and WITHOUT restarting i IMMEDIATELLY applied 8.1 and 8.1.2 updates
7- restart
DONE
NO MORE "An internal error has occurred" MESSAGE WHEN EXITING ACROBAT

Message error when I synchronize my BB with Outlook

Hi everybody,
from today, when I synchronize my BB (Torch 9800, OS 6), with Outlook 2007, I always have this message error "0x8386006e".
Before I didn't have any prob.
Desktop manager version is "6.1.036".
Could somebody help me?

At the end, I solved the prob.
It was due to the app called "Pocket informant", so I deleted this app from my BB and now I don't have any message.
It seems that there are prob when this app synchronizes the tasks.

[SOLVED] dbus error when taking a screenshot

I can't take screenshots with the Gnome3 screenshot program. When I try to save a screenshot, I get this error message:
Error while saving screenshot.
Impossible to save the screenshot to file:///home/some/directory.
Error was GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process /usr/bin/nautilus exited with status 1.
Please choose another location and retry.
I found a thread with a similar problem (dbus error when taking a screenshot; the error message is different though) providing a solution, but I can't try that solution because I don't have a /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf file.
How can I fix this?

Damn, I found the solution (or better: source) of the problem... The error messages states that /usr/bin/nautilus exits with error something-something, and after thinking about that for some seconds it came to my mind that I replaced /usr/bin/nautilus with a softlink (ln -s) to /usr/bin/thunar because I didn't find a better way to totally replace Nautilus with Thunar...

[SOLVED] DBus error when accessing "Windows Network"

I'm getting an error when trying to access "Windows Network" from Nautilus after last Gnome (2.22 -> 2.24) update:
Unable to mount location
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)

Are those with a problem using share level security on the samba server?
Have you tried accessing the share using smbclient? (smbclient //server/share)
I have been receiving the original dbus error for some time now.
I am using share level security on the server.
Using smbclient results in a segfault. Using nautilus also results in an error from libsmbclient which can be seen in one of the log files.
[mythtv@tvee ~]$ smbclient //sirschmoopy/shared

Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.5.1]
Server not using user level security and no password supplied.
Segmentation fault
There is a samba bug which looks similar but it only affects people with ipv6 disabled. I have disabled and enabled ipv6 several times and the errors persist.
I think it may be related to this bug: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7250
I haven't tried the patch provided yet.

InDesign CS5 DDE Error when exiting

One of my users gets a DDE error when she exits out of InDesign.
"DDE Server Window: InDesign.exe - Application Error
The Intruction at '0x##############' referenced memory at '0x##############'. The memory could not be 'read'.
Click on OK to terminate the program"
She is using InDesign CS5 with the latest update applied. I believe it was 7.04. She is also using XP sp 3. I've tried resetting her preferences, as I noticed was recommended, by pressing ctrl + shift +alt on boot and rename the file name from the user folder. Neither fixed the issue. If I start a new file it doesn't have this error on closing, but it happens when loading up an old file and closing out.

That sort of worked. When I ran the initial export of the file and closed
there was no error. If I opened the newly created idml file and closed it
would throw the same error. I decided to look into a theory I had about
saving. I loaded the original file that was giving me trouble. I made a
small change, saved the file, and closed. The error did not come. I opened
the file again and closed. The error was produced. It seems it happens
when you load an existing file and don't save/export your work.

I have this message error when I open Bridge cc.

The frequenatly occurs if you have an expired Adobe trial. Search your computer and uninstall it.

i'm wondering why i'm getting this error message when trying to open a file with kate using root in standard terminal
eg su

and i'm getting this error mesage
No protocol specified
kate: cannot connect to X server :0.0
when i try the same method with user account it work perfectl
kate /home/user/document
no error
when i'm trying to open firestarter with root i get this kind message
No protocol specified
(firestarter:7848): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0
so i try with standard user and i this kind of message
"insufficient privelige u need to be root"

Hello everyone, I'm getting an error when I shut down, and I'm not sure what it means. I copied and pasted the error into Google but didn't find anything. Here is the error in question:

Anyone know exactly what this means?

I don't completely understand that. Did you fix it somehow, or did you conclude that it's not really anything to worry about?
In my case, I started having this problem when I wiped my drive and rebuilt my Arch installation. I don't think I had this problem with my previous install. And in my case, sda2 is my swap partition.
I have the same problem with udisks complaining about my swap partition. It happens after swapoff is called, at the stage when daemons are terminated. As was indicated in the ML thread, this is a udev issue and is pretty harmless. I
guess a solution would be to add a timeout to rc.shutdown between swapoff and kill_all(), but first I would wait for the new initscripts and see whether the problem persists.

Why Labview.exe error when exit simple-state machine?

Can someone please help me figure out why, unless I ABORT the VI, I get a "Labview.exe is closing" error when I press Stop. I am using a simple-state machine like what comes with Labview's examples. What could be some causes of this? I have read that not closing all files first can cause an error but it seems to me like I have them all closed.
I am running LabVIEW 6.1 on Windows 2000. In my Initialize state I use Global and Local variables. Could these cause problems?
Any ideas?

I do an AI Clear after data is acquired. I don't open up any AI functions in the "INITIALIZE" state, so I think the only AI Clear I need is where it is. WHat do you mean print the front panel without errors. I see its set to "print at completion" (the computer I use does not have a printer connection) but do you mean save the front panel to file without errors?
Could there be an error in these subVIs that causes the program to shut down?
