Install pkgtools and use pkgfile to see if something exists in the repos:
~ > pkgfile libgtkmm-2.4.so.1
extra/gtkmm

I had the same problem. I think the reason is indeed that you are working with some newer version of the Studio. My version is 2004s (Version: 7.0.06 Build id: 200601142119). The example project references some directories like "com.sap.dictionary.runtime" (located under ...SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\plugins). In my installation the name of this directory is a little different: "com.sap.dictinary.runtime_2.0.0". To solve this problem you will have to replace some jar-files referenced by the project. This works as follows:
Right-click the project, then select "Properties" from the contex-menu. A new dialog appears. At the right side of this dialog select "Java Build Path". At the left you will see 4 tabs, select "Libraries". The references jar-files will be displayed. Probably several of them will be marked with a little yellow "!". For each marked jar-file perform the following steps:
Select the jar-file. Press "Edit...". A new dialog will appear. Press "Extension...". A file-selection-dialog appears, where you can select the jar-file in the right directory.

Oracle Initialization Failed -- likely missing libraries/dlls

I've installed MDM 5.0 server with oracle 10.2 as the database on Windows 2003 server.
When I try to create a repository for the first time I'm facing the following issue "Error initializing database engine"
The log says:
Oracle Initialization Failed -- likely missing libraries/dlls

I'm able to connect to the database through SQL plus also the tnsping tests are successfull.
Please let me know your ides to resolve this issue.

Can you provide the detailed steps performed to resolve the issue.
Even we have installed MDM 7.1 SP 10 Oracle 11.2.0, But we have 3 SAP instance running on the system:
1) SRM:
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
2) CRM:
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.2.0 - 64bit
3) MDM:
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
when the server is restarted the MDM is not able to connect to the Database.

[SOLVED]Mplayer2 and Clementine both missing libraries.

After upgrading a few days ago, SMPlayer2 fails to play any media, and Clementine won't start at all. SMPlayer says this:
/usr/bin/mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libpng15.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
and Clemetine has this error:
clementine: error while loading shared libraries: libimobiledevice.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
My system is fully up to date.
Any ideas on a fix?

edit: I managed to fix the Clementine problem. I had the AUR git version installed and switched to the repo version.
I'm still looking for a fix for SMPlayer2 though.

smplayer2 is in the AUR - have you rebuilt it?
Are you using clementine from the repos or some version from the AUR?

[SOLVED]Missing /usr/lib/libgssapi.so when using conserver client

With newly MIT krb5 in [Core] repo, everything I using console ( the client of conserver: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27856), I got a compain about missing /usr/lib/libgssapi.so error.
I recompiled it, but not work.
Manaully create a link from /usr/lib/libgssapi_krb5.so will solve this problem.
But still confusing about why recompile the software don't goes to correct lib file.
Anyone can give me a clue?

[SOLVED] Missing libsmime3.so

Hi, everyone.
I'm trying to run a native application which relies on dynamic runtime libraries that are missing in my system, one of those is libsmime3.so.
I've googled it and found that the missing library is either libsmime3 or libnss3, none of which I could find in Arch repos. Can somebody please advice if that library is available as a part of some other Arch package?
The software I'm trying to run is LightTable.
% ./LightTable
./LightTable: error while loading shared libraries: libsmime3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Use pkgfile to find what you are looking for.

Missing "Libraries" item in "Window" menu

I received a CC email today telling me that I have been upgraded to be able to use libraries that enable sharing of assets across the PS CC community.
"Libraries" does not appear as an option in the drop down list in "Window". It's missing.
I'm using version 14.2.1 x64 which I updated to today.
Please help, thank you.

I think the libraries feature would be good for web development and projects developed by teams. I don't expect to find any use for the feature it will be a feature like generator one I don't utilize. I don't even enable generator in my preferences. And I had to manually link my plug-in tree for Adobe removed that feature from its preferences. You win some and you lose some. If you use Adobe Products you need to work around some. I don't think there is anyone that uses all of Photoshop features.

Cairngorm 3 sample applications - missing libraries

I have checked out the sample applications from http://opensource.adobe.com/svn/opensource/cairngorm3/trunk/samples/insync/ repository, but these samples reference Cairngorm libraries, which are missing. What versions should I use to be able to build these samples?

Current versions are validation-1.11.swc, observerParsley-1.10.swc, observer-1.10.swc, navigationParsley-1.0.swc, navigation-1.0.swc, module-0.11.swc, integrationParsley-0.13.swc, integration-0.13.swc.

[SOLVED] Missing acpi hwmon sysfs interface on Eeepc 1000H

Hi,
I am running a fresh install using Linux 3.15.8-1-ARCH kernel on Asus Eeepc 1000H and there is a problem with the detected thermal sensors.
After configuring sensors using sensors-detect (yes to all answers, full detection), I only get this:
$ sensors

It misses the acpitz-virtual-0 corresponding to the acpi thermal zone which temperature can be read in /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp and with "acpi -t" command.
Unfortunately, the temperature reported by coretemp-isa-0000 sensor is wildly wrong, and cannot be used to drive fancontrol, whereas the acpi temperature is correct.
I checked that hwmon, thermal_sys, coretemp and eeepc_laptop modules are loaded.
I also tried to add /etc/sensors.d/EeePC-0123456789 as said in https://forums.archlinux.fr/topic14506.html (french):
chip "acpitz-virtual-0"
label temp1 "temp1"
compute temp1 @-20,@-20
label temp2 "Core 0"
compute temp2 @-20,@-20
but I am not able to get the desired output of sensors -u. all I get is that:

Can someone give me a clue of what is going on here about missing acpitz-virtual-0 sensor ?

Problem of missing libraries

I have imported a project from sdn, it is giving that so many plugin libraries are missing. I have added the libraries also i have added those in class path. but still it is giving me same problem.
Can any body please help me out to resolve this problem.

1.Right click your project.
2.Select Repair.
3.Project Structure and Classpath.
4.Rebulid All.
Explanation:
-->This is because, in SDN they have created in their own paths. To set the path, We have to repair our project in Webdynpro explorer.

Missing libraries for j2me?

I have source code for Jess (java expert system) written in J2SE that I am trying to compile for J2ME. Of course, I keep getting compilation errors, since J2ME does not have e.g. java.util.Iterator or java.io.Serializable. What can I do (if anything?!) to solve this problem? Jess folks do not have a mobile device version. Are there additional libraries for J2ME I could download and happily compile my code? Thank you, I am really stuck with this!

Hi Buso,
I am not sure if its a good solution, but you can try it as follows :
Use the source code that comes with Java SDK (src.zip in sdk ), extract the classes (and their dependant classes) to a different folder, compile them and make your own jar file. Keep this Jar file in in WTK's Lib folder.
I suppose this should work.

Try to use “sfc /scannow” command to scan all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
Or you may try to reinstall user interface feature. Detailed information reference:

[SOLVED] Missing libao.so.2 after update on 04/12/2010

I use pianobar frequently, and I discovered yesterday after running pacman -Syu that pianobar was no longer working:
$ pianobar

I'm assuming that libao has been upgraded from libao.so.2 to libao.so.4, which is what's causing pianobar to fail to start up. I came across a this website while looking for help, and I tried running ldconfig with the following result:
# ldconfig -v | grep libao
libaoss.so.0 -> libaoss.so.0.0.0
libao.so.4 -> libao.so.4.0.0
Why is libao.so.2 missing all of a sudden? How can I get it back? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Java Adapter Compile Error - Missing Libraries

I am trying to convert my project from being deployed on Flex Data Services 2 To LiveCycle Data Services. I dont know very much about java and have hit a snag when trying to recompile my custom java adaptor.
It compiles fine under a FDS2 project, but when compiled under a LCDS deployment on JRun, Eclipse gives me the following error when trying to compile:
Project PTSChat_Java is missing required library: lib/commons-codec.jar
Project PTSChat_Java is missing required library: lib/commons-httpclient.jar
The project cannot be built until build path errors are resolved
It appears that the libraries have been renamed to commons-codec-1.3.jar & commons-httpclient-3.0.1.jar in LCDS, but I am not sure where to update these references? They are not direct library imports in my java code.
As a shot in the dark, I tried just copying the old FDS2 libraries back over to the WEB-INF\lib\ DIR since there are named differently. It resolved the missing library error, but then I got a compile error with service cannot be resolved in references to my MessageService msgService = (MessageService) service; java code. I quickly realized this is not the correct path to head down.
Does anyone have any clues what I may be doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

I resovled the problems I was having.
I was able to figure out how to change the library linking in eclipse and switched the commons-codec-1.3.jar & commons-httpclient-3.0.1.jar in the place of commons-codec.jar & commons-httpclient.jar libraries previously used with the project (properties:libraries).
I was not able to correct the service cannot be resolved. Everything I did kept crashing and dropping my connection tot he channel. I ended up just switching the code in my java adapter from:
MessageService msgService = (MessageService) service
to
MessageBroker broker = MessageBroker.getMessageBroker(null);
MessageService msgService = (MessageService) broker.getService("message-service");
This appears to be working as desired for my use of the java adapter for the session management & logging. I am not really certain why the "service" became undefined between FDS2 & LCDS, something must have been depreciated or changed around.

[solved] missing latest backups for iPhone after getting replacement phone

Thought I would share this one in case anyone else runs into it.
My the speaker on my wife's iPhone 4 on Verizon had stopped working for phone calls for the second time and a restore didn't fix it, so she returned the phone and they gave her a new one at the store. We had made several backups over the last few days, the most recent was this morning.
So tonight we hooked up the new phone to iTunes and got ready to restore it, but iTunes said the restore was last updated in FEBRUARY. What?! My wife freaked out thinking all her photos etc. were now lost for good.
I held off on the restore and decided to do some checking around before doing anything. I found the folder where the restore files are, and sure enough I found files from today. I copied that folder just in case. I also checked in iTunes itself and the backups were listed. So what was up?!
It finally occured to me that we had recently upgraded her phone to iOS 5, but that the new iPhone 4 from the store was probably still on iOS 4 -- maybe iTunes was not smart enough to see this situation and tell us about it, and maybe it won't listed iOS 5 backups for an iOS 4 phone.
Well that turned out to be the case. But what to do to fix it? I figured if I could get iOS 5 onto the phone, we would be all set. But I didn't want to tell iTunes to label it as a new phone either -- I'm not sure if that would be permanent or what. So I took a leap of faith and held down the power button and home button simultaneously for a while, past the power off notification, until the phone prompted to be connected to iTunes to be restored.
Then I plugged it back into the computer (this is Windows 7, by the way). Sure enough iTunes said it detected a phone in recovery mode, and would I like to have iTunes restore it to factory settings and put on the latest iOS? I sure would, so I did that and waited...
After that was done, iTunes wanted me to active the phone with Verizon. We had already done that an hour earlier over the phone, but tried it anyway, and it failed. We ignored that failure and went into the phone in iTunes -- it now asked if it was a new phone or if we should restore it -- and the backup from this morning was listed. Phew!
Finally completed the restore. I noticed that all of the passwords for all apps were lost -- unlike with a normal restore/backup on the same phone -- but everything else (pcitures, apps, etc.) was there. Thank goodness!
So, if you have upgraded the iOS version and have to replace your phone and the nreplacement has an older iOS verison, then that may explain why your backups appear to be missing...

Yes, I tried. But nothing is working. I am feeling bad as such a costly phone stop working in 1.4 year ?
I am just sharing my experience.
I am not ranting but yes angry as I am eligible for upgrade in Nov 2012 so don't want to pay $149 for replacement as I can upgrade to iPhone 5.
Apple expert please help me how can I fix it. It's completely software issue.
