[Solved!] More than 8 loop devices?

Hello. I just wanted to know how to add more than 8 loop devices.
What I did so far: edit /etc/modules-load.d/loopback-dev.conf
(Contents: loop)
This only adds loop0-loop7. I want to know how I can add up to loop0-loop63 if I can.

It should work if you add max_loop=64 to the kernel boot parameter line or add it to the appropriate kernel in /etc/grub.conf (after rhgb quiet) for a permanent fix

I have a Plantronics 975 earpiece that works very well with my Razr. I
just got a Panasonic KX-TG7873S phone system for my home, it has a
"Link-to-Cell" cellular convergence solution, from what I understand it is
just Bluetooth enabled. I have paired both device with my Razr. In
settings, Bluetooth setting, both device show. But only one device can
connect at a time. If my Plantronics is connected and I choose the
Panasonic device, the Plantronics device disconnects and the Panasonic
device then says it is connected. Both devices work when they
are connected. Is it because they are both "headsets"?
So, to have to remember to connect to one or the other device, depending on
weather I am coming or going is not practical.

How to allow access to my airport extreme network for more than one wirelss device at the same time

I received a Kobo Vox ereader for Christmas and have not been able to connect to my home wireless network. It works with unsecured networks and I tested it out at an Apple reseller with their airport extreme netwok and it connects fine.
It seems as if I cannot have more than one wireless device connected to my home netork at the same time.
So here is what I did to test this out:
- I powered off the Kobo vox
- I shut down my macbook
- I turned off the modem and unplugged the power cord and removed the cable connection from the modem.
- I also unplugged the airport extreme router.
- I waited for about 15 minutes and then set it all up again and turned on the power to the router and the modem
- I turned on the kobo vox (I left my laptop shut down)
- my kobo vox was able to connected to the internet.
- I powered up my laptop and it couldn't connect to the internet.
So, I went through the above steps again and powered up my laptop first and was able to connect to the internet. I then turned on my Kobo and was not able to connect.
It seems as if I can only have one device connected to my wireless network at one time and that device is the first one to be powered on and connected to the internet.
Am I missing some network or airport extreme settings...

Try the following on your Mac.....
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Click the Internet Connection tab
Change the setting for Connection Sharing to read Share a public IP address
Click Update

Anyone able to mount more than 3 firewire devices on their Alum 2.4 imac?

I can't power up more than 3 firewire devices or my imac kicks everything off. I have 2 Lacie 1T drives piggybacked on the 800 port and then a powered firewire hub plugged into the 400 port. I can have either another firewire external HD OR an external Cd/Dvd recorder plugged into the hub. If I try both (or any combination of 2 firewire devices) - the imac kicks everything off firewire, both on the 800 port and the 400 port. All my devices have their own external power supply. It also doesn't matter how I chain the drives. I can have 3 on the 800 port but then nothing on the 800 port.
This is a bummer for me. I migrated from a Dual G5 2GB with 4 external HDs and an 2nd external DVD writer attached. My drives are 2 1Ts, a 800 GB and a 400 GB. I do a lot of photography and video editing so I really need the external space. I guess this imac really isn't a "Pro" model but I didn't need any more speed and I wanted to save space and money. And I love the 24" screen. I think Apple should say up-front if there are significant limits to the imac's Firewire capabilities.
Are any of you you able to attach 4 firewire devices at one time? If so, then I guess my machine is defective and I'll start working with Apple on exchanging it. Please let me know.

I think you should be able to do much more than 4 - I believe the theoretical maximum is somewhere at 20+ devices (if they are self-powered). I don't have a 24inch but instead a 20 inch but I'm running three HDs and one DVD drive and in fact, all daisy-chained onto one single firewire port on the Mac. Do your external drives have two ports or just one? In the former case, you might want to try skipping the hub and just daisy-chaining them. I've never owned a firewire hub so I don;t know if they can be touchy but you might want to give it a shot.

Using more than one input device at the same time

Is it possible to use more than one input device at the saem time in logic express. For example I have a fire wire input device and a usb input device can I get Express to recognize both of these at once and so have a total of 4 ins which would be great since Im transfering tracks off my ADAT and it would be less track to have to line up.

yes, it should be possible by creating an aggregate device. Google for it or search this forum. There are many tutorials how to set it up.

More than one loop in audio file

Please, allow more than one loop in a wave file. This functionality was present in the Adobe Audition 3.0, but it is gone now. The sampler tab is gone from the metadata. Please, bring it back. Even though, the user can set more than one region marker in the wave file, only one of them is internally set to be understood as a loop and there is no way how to set more loops in a wave file. Please add this functionality back into the Audition.

Only one audio file can be used in a Lightroom slideshow.
You'll have to combine multiple songs into a single audio file (e.g. using Audition) then use the single audio file in the Lightroom slideshow.

Cant Connect more than 8-9 devices

I have the original "Mushroom" Airport. Why can't I connect more than 8-9 devices at a time? Tech specs says I can connect up to 50. But havent been able to do more than 8-9 depending on connection order.
I'm trying to connect the following
2 Wii's (Though only 1 would be active at any given time)
2 MBP
2 iPads
2-3 iPods
2 iPhones
1 PC Laptop (win7)
1 Wireless Printer (HP)

how can i connect more than 6 wireless devices to homehub 3? my current cable provider allows me to have 9 wireless devices connected at the same time
is there a way to connect a wireless router to homehub 3 or do i need to invest in a modem router from another make that allows me the extra connectivity?

Hi you can have as many wireless devices as you wish the same applies to wired connection's if you use an Ethernet switch all you need to do is enter the wireless security code into each wireless device

More than 5 iOS devices what to do?

So I am on my 6th iOS device. 1 iPhone 1, 1 iPod 2, 1 iPad, 1 iPod 3 and a new iPhone 4 which i am getting replaced. so thats 6 iOS devices. So how to I remove my old iPhone from my syncing so that my new iPhone can use my already paid for apps.

Yes, it's computers that are authorized. You can have up to 5 authorized computers using the same iTunes account. Regarding devices(ipods, iphones, etc.) there is no limit to the number that can be synced to the same itunes account.

How can I display more than 1 loop iteraction in a waveform chart?

Using DAQmx, I am inputting a signal at a rate of 10k with 1k samples inside a while loop. I want the first 3 seconds of data to display on a waveform chart without having to change the rate or number of samples. Is there a way to stop the waveform chart from clearing after every loop iteration so that I can display more than 0.1sec of data? Thank you for any help you can provide!

The default history length of a chart is 1024. To make it longer is a right click option.

When talking about the phone the maximum number of devices on a single account is 5. When it comes to Windows 8.1 on PCs and Tablets it's 88 but you can not use it on more than that.
If this is intended for company deployment you can do that using sideloading by either getting a sideloading key or joining the devices to a domain or using a company certificate for Windows Phones.
Deploying it via the Store is not a viable option there.

Can you have more than 3 Bluetooth devices active at the same time?

I have trouble getting my Sony DR-BT101 to link when my mouse, trackpad, and keyboard (all wireless) are connected. I need to link by stereo headphones for music analysis and cannot get all to work at the same time. My Sony headset either won't pair or connect or causes alert that interfere with the running of other programs during my work. Even when I answer one of the alerts and turn off the Mouse it refuses to connect and finishes with a Stop Using Headset message. Even if I choose "Ignore" instead of turning off the Mouse or Trackpad, same thing. I once had everything working at the same time, so I can't figure out what is going on but it won't honor more than 3 devices, it seems. And also, when a new email arrives in my mailbox (iMac OS Lion 7.1 Mail), the alerts stop popping up and go through 3 iterations as each new email arrives. Weird. Any response on how to deal with this?

Uninstalled everything PA, also uninstalled mangler which was the only thing that depended on PA. It didn't work anyway.
No pulseaudio --kill command so I couldn't run.
Checked systemd journal and there is no mention of PA this time.
Checked top, and grepped ps aux and there is no PA there either.
I also rebooted the machine completely just to make sure. However VLC and HTML5 have the same incompatibilities.

But the video and audio did work until I ran some HTML5 video, after which the audio worked, and then I opened it again and it didn't work...

How do i stream to more than one airplay device on an ipad

I have an Apple TV connected to a TV/hifi set up and I want to stream music/internet radio to other rooms simultaneously (more than 2). I have read that the only way is to do it from itunes on my PC, but I want to do it from an ipad or iphone. I've read various threads that suggest you can do it, but before I spend good money on an airplay sound doc for the kitchen and bedroom, has anyone done this succesfully without quick fixes that invovle a PC and third party software? My other option is a Sonos setup but as I already have the Apple TV, I don't want to re-invent the wheel?

Where are the folders on your computer that you are trying to sync ? If they are directly underneath the folder that you have selected at the top of the Photos tab then the 'selected folders' option should not be greyed out - is that where the photos that you are trying to sync located on your computer ?

When i double Click the home button to come to the AirPlay options it's only avaiable to select One of the airPlay devices, the device chosen before turns off.
So can anybody Tell me how to do that, or is it impossible to do that ?
