[Solved] opengl dependency for kwin composite

In order to compile kwin with composite support I need to install opengl. Which package(s) do I need?

The "mesa" package did the job...

  • [Solved] Installed as dependency for what package?

I was wondering, how can I find out what package has required the installation of another package? For example:
    [~ ]$ pacman -Qi gegl
Install Reason : Installed as a dependency for another package
I couldn't find any option that would show me more info on this.

    Required By : gimp
    Do you have gimp installed?

  • Intel graphics (945GM) and Kwin compositing not working.

I've done upgrade few months ago, and ever since then kwin compositing simply refuses to work. I'm currently running Xorg 1.8.1.902, have tried almost everything i could find on this forum (even wen't and rebuiild everything from scratch), but problem still persists.
I'm currently running Xorg without config.

I want to know is there an event for a composite has a new child control?
    For example,

    Label child = new Label(parent, SWT.None);
I want to know the parent composite is getting a child label when new label

Also, I got this comment (a bit of a warning) from Dimitri:
<blockquote>I just saw this pattern used by <i>[customer]</i> - they (used to check) if the member was senior, and if it was, it was responsible for some periodic cleanup tasks and whatnot.
This worked fine in the test application and broke immediately when we added dedicated cache servers, or standalone JMX console etc, i.e. it is perfectly possible for the Console to be senior without any application classes in it's classpath, or for the dedicated cache server to be senior and only application servers have logic in place to run stuff.</blockquote>
In other words, depending on your deployment, it may not be as simple as just "being senior", you may also want to use a "Role Name" for example (configurable and accessible per member).

Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
    Reboot and try again.
If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

  • Object dependency for batch characteristic

I have 1 class with multiple characteristics and 1 of the characteristics should be entered (mandatory) in case of a certain split valuation type (which is covered in the batch info). This should be done via object dependencies within the charateristic. Anyone knows how to do this?

    Dear Sairam
As explaind to you in the earlier thread for product or proportion unit. you need not maintain object dependency for the characterestics. You have to maintain product unit which will appera as alternatvie UOM. While making GR the Alternate or product UOM will be seen as per the plan value(conversion factor) maintained in material master. You can change both Basic UOM and Alter UOM as per the actual caonversion recieved. This conversion factors will be saved in the batch classification.

  • BIZTALK bts action mapping problem with Message Schemas for the Composite Operation

    Hi,
I have a message schema made with the composite operation.
now, I have re-deployed my biztalk project and in the send port for this Oracle composite message the SOAP action header hasn't updated the correct action.
now I tried several verations for this soap action mapping and this is what I got:
    ><BtsActionMapping xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" >xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    >  <Operation Name="Select" Action="http://Microsoft.LobServices.OracleDB/2007/03/CompositeOperation" />
    >  <Operation Name="SQLEXECUTE" Action="http://Microsoft.LobServices.OracleDB/2007/03/CompositeOperation" />
    > </BtsActionMapping>
Now as you can see the Composite schema has 2 operations one is from an Oracle VIEW and the second one is an Oracle SQL querry.
please if someone could assist me with this issue?

Message Schemas for the Composite Operation

For Composite Operations you don't use the Action Mapping Xml for both the SQL Server and Oracle bindings.
The Action for Oracle Composite Operations is:
    http://Microsoft.LobServices.OracleDB/2007/03/CompositeOperation
by itself.  No Xml or anything.

  • "Validation" enabled for the composite and my testsuites are not working

I have posted the below issue in Test suite in JDEV - Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0 But I felt that this is the right forum, so posting this again here:
I have mediator calling bpel. Mediator is exposed as web service. Whenever I run the service using "Test" button on EM with validation turned on
then it works and the process will be completed.
But I have initiate xml in the test suites. I select "UnitTests" and select my test case xml that was associated to "Initiate Message for operation",
I see that the process is still in the "Running" state. I put in exactly the same values as I use for testing the service from EM.
Did anybody face this issue? This happens only when we turn the validation to "Enabled" in EM.
I have "Validation" enabled for the composite and my testsuites are not working. When I test using unit tests, I am only seeing "Running" status of the processes and these are not getting completed.

    Hello there, RevDebMN.
The following Knowledge Base article is always a great fallback article for troubleshooting Mail issues:
OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3276
    Particularly useful, in your case:
Mail Connection Doctor shows one or more red dots () in the account Status column
Check your Incoming IMAP or POP and Outgoing SMTP email account settings
Use Apple's online Mail Setup Assistant to discover what the correct settings should be for both your Incoming (IMAP or POP) and Outgoing SMTP email servers. If your email service provider is not listed in the Mail Setup Assistant, visit your email service provider's website or contact their support staff to get the correct settings. You can use this "cheat sheet" when asking your email service provider about the settings you need.
After you have the correct email service provider settings, make sure Mail is configured properly.
Click here if your Incoming and Outgoing email account settings are correct, but the issue persists
What alert message is shown in the Mail Connection Doctor "Details" column affected account?
Click here if a "Could not connect to this (server type) server…" message appears
Click here if a "Trying to log in to this (email server provider name) account failed…" message or any other error message appears
If the issue persists, then you'll want to remove the account and then add it again using this article:

  • How can I get the position stream for a composition?

I am writing an AEGP plugin for AfterFx and I need to get the position stream for a composition. I have based my plugin on ProjDumper.
    Can anyone help?

    Hi Shachar,
Many thanks, that goes some way to explain it.
However I am creating a composition adding text layers to it and animating the positions of the individual text layers. Then I create a second composition and include the first as a nested composition and I animate the position of the first composition within the second composition.
When I run my plugin I only see the animations I added to the individual text layers, they are not combined with the overall animation attached to the first compisition within the second composition.  The animation data for the first composition must be stored somewhere. Do you know where ?
I have been looking at source items and markers neither seem to provide the information I am interested in. Any clues would be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Best way to create a UI for a Composite app

    Hi all,
What is the best way to create a UI for a Composite app that we are developing using CAF and GP.
    1) WebDynPro Callable Object that implements GP Interface.
    2) Consume the Application services(exposed as web services) in WebDynPro app
    3) Creating a WebDynPro Model for the CAF Services.
    4) Create a WebDynPro Application Callable Object (If yes how can we map the input and output params b/n WebDynPro app CO and CAF Application service).
Plz do remember we are using GP here.
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards,
    Sudheer.

    Hi,
You can use Web Dynpro or Visual Composer for designing UI for your CA.
    1) WebDynPro Callable Object that implements GP Interface.
You can use Web Dynpro Component CO to use a single Web Dynpro component in your GP Activity.
    4) Create a WebDynPro Application Callable Object :This is for entire Web Dynpro Application(multiple components).
    2) Consume the Application services(exposed as web services) in WebDynPro app :
    3) Creating a WebDynPro Model for the CAF Services.
For example, in updating operations first we have to get the existing data from Database. For getting this data you can use application services in your Web Dynpro component.Later expose this WD component as CO insert in a GP activity.
For creating operations, you can use Web Service CO(Application Service)  directly in GP Activity.

  • Best practise around handling time dependency for flat file loads

    Hi folks,
This is a fairly common situation - handling time dependency for flat file loads. Please can anyone share their experience around handling this. One common approach is to handle the time validity changes within the flat file where it is easily changeable by the user but then again is prone to input errors by the user. Another would be to handle this via a DSO. Possibly, also have this data entered directly in BI using IP planning layouts. There is a IP planning function that allows for loading flat file data but then again, it only works without the time dependency factor.
It would be great to hear thoughts or if anyone can point to a best practise document for such a scenario.
    Thanks.

  • Profile for a composite role

    Hello Experts,
We are having a problem dealing with a composite role.
Whenever we add the composite role to a user master; a profile appears for each of the single roles (which is normal) BUT we also get a profile for the composite role.
We verified in the table AGR_1016  and found that there is a profile asocited to the composite role.
We tried the clean-up option of the transaction PFUD which did not work in our case.
We were thinking that may be the role was firstly created as a single role with its profile; and then it mayhave been changed to a composite role without deleteing its profile. Is it possible ?
    Any answer is most welcome!
    Thanks & Reagards

    > We were thinking that may be the role was firstly created as a single role with its profile; and then it mayhave been changed to a composite role without deleteing its profile. Is it possible ?
Sounds to me as if there has been an import of a composite role overwriting a single role with the same name. The pfcg import facility has very few checks in them so something unwantend could have happened. I think it is not possible to change a role from single to composite with the PFCG or other tools. What does table AGR_PROF say about this role?
I would suggest to copy the composite to a new name (without copying the singles) and see how that looks. If it is OK you can delete the corrupted role, check wether it is completely gone and copy the new role back to it's original name.

    Hi
I don't believe you set workmanagers on a composite by composite basis but it may be possible to setup new application scoped work managers in Weblogic although I have never tried this...
