Solved: PC Suite changes messages date to date of ...

Yesterday I wanted to copy all of my messages from my Nokia 6267 phone to my computer. I have a folder for inbox and outbox, and all of my previuosly copied messages are saved as "[first 32 characters of the message].vmg". I opened Nokia PC Suite 7.1 and clicked on "messages", which opened the designated software of contacts, messages and calendar managing. The problem was, when I tried to copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) the files to another folder in my PC, all of the messages lost their date and time, and got the current date and time. Also, their filenames changed to "[original date and time of send].vmg". I could not find away to prevent this from happening, and when I tried to use explorer to explore the phone, the only folder that appeared in "nokia phone browser" was my gallery. I couldn't find help on the internet. I was sure I did this process before, as I had the old messages. I decided to try an older version of pc suite. Luckilly I kept the installer of the 6.8 version, so I removed 7.1, installed 6.8 and the problem was solved! Apparently the phone browser of version 6 allows you to view the deep contents of your phone, while 7 do not, and instead uses other built-in programs to do so.

I guess I am not 100% sure. I just opened PC Suite and checked manage connections and then settings and saw nothing labled manual or automatic. What I do to connect to the internet in PC Suite is connect my phone with the cabe, open PC Suite and then click on the globe to make the connection. Does that help you of should I check something else? Thanks, Greg

  • Error message when changing personal data

    Whenever a user tries to change personal data in ESS, the system returns an error message "Start date should be after 12.01.2012 or later." (or whatever the current day is...)
    I can't find a note or whatsoever to solve it. Is this a known error in ESS?

    You have implemented the BADI  HRXSS_PER_BEGDA which results in this error
      ESS scenario's will allow data creation/modification starting
      from a Default Start Date.  By default this Default Start Date
      is set to Today's date.  To further explain, when the Default
      Start Date is set to Today's date ESS User can create or
      change a data record valid starting from Today's date
      or future date.
      It is possible to customize this behaviour.  Business Add-in
      HRXSS_PER_BEGDA is available.  Parameters like molga, pernr,
      infty, subty and begda can be used in different combinations
      for customization.  For further informatio, please

    First thing is to forget all the complex configs and just try to schedule the report to run once now, no alerts, no notifications, no nothing.
    Does that work?
    Then you can build up the schedule, to see where the problem is coming from.

    Hi Maheboob
    Im glad the note worked -
    To find the note , you could do a note search on the message  IW056  you  received and the support pack level you are on ..
    For EHP5 the note is valid up to  SAPKH60504.
    The  IW056   is listed as a keyword so if you search on it the note should be returned.
    Thanks-
    Enda.

  • Help I upgraded to 6 OS and everything was working ok until yesterday and now it is giving me error message that I cannot connect to iTunes. I tried the reset thing and changing the date but still not working.

    Help I have an iPad 2 and recently had to upgrade to 6 OS. All was well until yesterday when I received N error message that I cannot connect to iTunes.  I tried the reset and changing the date and neither worked. Does anyone have another solution that works?  I see others are having the same problem.

    Saw this on another post.
    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Normally this problem occures if there is wrong customizing in the
    tables V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP and V_T591A. Please check this for your used
    infotyp according to the explaination below:
    for
    usecase = A1, A4, B1, B4                     (table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP)
    you need to have
    zeitb = '1' OR zeitb = '2'                   (table V_T591A)
    for
    usecase = A2, A3, A5, B2, B3, B5
    you need to have
    zeitb = '2'
    for
    usecase = A6, B3
    you need to have
    zeitb = '3'
    Please note that there is a hardcoded setting which is taken if there
    is no entry in table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP - so if you change the delivered
    customizing in V_T591A it migh be neccessary to create an entry in
    V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.
    If setting your tables according to this solves your problem kindly
    close this message.

  • Batch change the date

    You can batch change the time zone, and you can change the date and time, but can you batch change the date on photos? I would like to change the date on a number of images to a certain date, but I don't want to have to change the date on each one manually one by one.

    Your answer solved the issue, but left me perplexed about something else. For the sake of example, I am going to be talking about scanned images here. Now, this may be a totally moot point, because scanned images may behave differently than regular images from a camera regarding date and time. I have changed all of the scans so that the dates are all the same day. This is the day that I scanned the images. However, when I view the project in the Projects browser, the date shows a range from well before the date I set to well after it. This seems very odd to me, because none of the scanned images in the project have the dates shown in the projects browser. Do you know anything about this?

    i can chage posting date but as there is no option of changing doc date i can't change.
    but my client wants to change that doc date along with posting date.
    plz suggest me regarding above.

    Hi Ramesh..
    Ok..I agree with you..But there is a problem..When I make to send the PO to R/3 with the posting date in the past, In RZ20 there is a message '' the posting date is in the past'' this problem ocurring because the posting date in the past for PO. For ex: I create a PO in 04.08.08 and i try to send to R/3..but i can't send to R/3 becasue others problems ..the Po status change to ''Process Error'' . I fix the ''errors''  and i try to send the Po to R/3 again, I make this procedure in 05.08.08...but in purchase monitors show me up a message ' the posting date is in the past''
    How I can solve this? I need to send a PO with a past date to R/3. Can I change this configuration in R/3?
    Thanks

  • Consequences of changing system date

    for some reason i need to change the system date on production server (sms server with a database)
    only the year should decrease by two (minus 2 years)
    before changing the date i want to get some advice from the community
    what problems could happen after that, what steps should i follow before doing that, etc
    the things that i've already taken care of are CRON and AT jobs
    i think there could be problems with file access/modification dates and anything that relies on them
    can it be solved by just updating access/modification dates of all files accordingly?
    please give advice
    thanks in advance

    consider buying a new license
    that kind of problems wont happen since new outgoing messages are selected using different/additional criteria
    moreover it's not only about this particular case
    it's a real problem, i would be interested to get some (new) advices even i decide to buy new license

  • Saved Messages Data Increasing...

    Hey  guys.
    A lot of people have posted the same thing as I am posting now; but I have a few questions that I need answered pertaining to this.
    Since I installed iOS 7, I've watched my usage data increase with Messages. From 10kb to 10mb, and now it's at nearly one gigabytes of message data. I need a way to clear all this; as the temporary files are quite aggravating, and I also want to know why Apple is saving our messages. It seems rather suspect.
    ~ itsfutur

    Generally they don't disappear as such.  Depending on the developer of the theme the folder could have been moved or hidden.
    Menu>Show all and search folder by folder.
    If you had changed the icons and "lost" where the saved messages folder was within the theme you have active you can from the Applications screen
    Menu>Options>Themes Default>Icon Arrangement and check it. Save and exit.  All your icons will be reset to the theme default and you will lose any customization of that theme you had established.
    The saved messages icon didn't "go" anywhere....

  • Error Message: Data from Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST not transferred

    Hi All,
    I have done a BADI implementation for ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and when I try to convert a PR to PO using ME59N in ECC u2013 AFS System I am getting below error message.
    Data from Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST not transferred.
    I am trying to populate certain PO fields ( ekko and ekpo ) from PR fields. But the above error occurs when I update the Ex Factory Date manual that is EKPO-J_3AEXFCM.
    I am updating this in the method PROCESS_ITEM and what I found while debugging is in the class CL_PO_HEADER_HANDLE_MM, in the implementation of IF_FLUSH_TRANSPORT_MM~START, the contents of field u2018my_iteration_countu2019 keeps increasing and becomes 10 and raises this error.
    I read few of the related questions raised by others in this forum and understood that this can happen if I try to change the field that is disabled ( greyed) in ME22N. But this field that I am talking about is enabled.
    I also tried to move my code of populating the field EKPO-J_3AEXFCM from the PROCESS_ITEM to the enhancement point just above the user exit EXIT_SAPMMO6E_018 but still it doesnu2019t resolve the error.
    (We donu2019t want to use User Exit and hence we are trying with BADIs or enhancement point.)
    Can anyone please help me with this. I also found an OSS note 1334046 but not sure if that can resolve my issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ameesha.

    Hi Ameesha,
    i think u need to implement the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST in SPRO settings.
    SPRO>Purchasing>Business Add-in Purchasing-->BAdI: Enhance Processing of Enjoy Purchase Order
    try this once.
    All check this link.

  • Crystal ActiveX Runtime Lib: Change text data source path at run time.

    We have some PCs running Crystal Reports 10 and some running CR 9 and 8.5. For each PC, we set up a System DSN ODBC data source (in Control Panel - Administrative Tools) for pulling data from text files to
    generate reports.
    Recently we wrote some routines (see the Visual Basic example at the
    end of this message) to change the path of the data files at runtime.
    According to the Crystal Reports Technical Reference Guide, we may use
    the method LogOnServer() of an Application object or an DatabaseTable
    object. However, we find that this does not work: the PrintOut()
    method only pulls data from the default path as configured for the
    System DSN, not from the path passed as the third parameter of
    LogOnServer(). It does not return any error message.
    We have also tried to use SetTableLocation() method, and it still does
    not work.
    Would any experts examine our code below and advise what we are missing? Thanks.
    For the following VB example, we have:
    System DSN Name: AP_WORKSHEET
    Driver: Microsoft Text Driver
    Database Directory: D:\0ood2 (i.e. the default path)
    Crystal Report Document: D:\3g\run\Vision\apcyto\Reports\crBlockWS.rpt
    (Which specifies that the data source text file name is BlockWS.txt)
    Purpose : We would like to read the data source text file from
    D:\0ood1 instead of the default path.
    Following is the code of the VB macro:
    Sub test()
    Rem In this version of the subroutine, we call
    Rem DatabaseTable.LogOnServer() and "Rem"ed out
    Rem Application.LogOnServer() and SetTableLocation().
    Rem We have un"Rem"ed each of them and "Rem"ed others and try to run.
    Rem In all runs, data are pulled from the default file
    Rem D:\0ood2\BlockWS.txt instead of D:\0ood1\BlockWE.txt.

    apropSubLoc = crxTab.SubLocation
    crxDB.LogOnServer "p2sodbc.dll", "AP_WORKSHEET", "<CRWDC>DBQ=D:\0ood1",
    Rem crxTab.SetTableLocation "D:\0ood1\BlockWS.txt", apropSubLoc, "DSN="

    For VB macros, the problem exists in all of CR 8.5, 9 and 10. However,
    for another platform we are using, Unify Vision 4GL, it works for CR
    8.5 while not working for CR 9 and 10.
    Following is the source code in Unify Vision 4GL. This language may

    Hi Sydney,
    If you search the Developers help file you'll find info on using the method:
    How to change the data source
    This example demonstrates how to change the data source from native Access to an OLEDB (ADO) data source by using the ConnectionProperty Object, as well as how to change the table name by using the Location property of the DatabaseTable Object. CrystalReport1 is connected to the xtreme.mdb database found in the \Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Crystal Reports 10\Samples\En\Databases folder. The report is using the Customer table. A copy of the Customer table is added to the pubs database on Microsoft SQL Server.
    ' Create a new instance of the report.
    Dim Report As New CrystalReport1
    Private Sub Form_Load()
    ' Declare a ConnectionProperties collection.
    Dim CPProperties As CRAXDRT.ConnectionProperties
    ' Declare a DatabaseTable object.
    Dim DBTable As CRAXDRT.DatabaseTable
    ' Get the first table in the report.
    Set DBTable = Report.Database.Tables(1)
    ' Get the collection of connection properties.
    Set CPProperties = DBTable.ConnectionProperties
    ' Change the database DLL used by the report from
    ' native Access (crdb_dao.dll) to ADO/OLEDB (crdb_ado.dll).
    DBTable.DllName = "crdb_ado.dll"
    '  The connection property bags contain the name and value
    ' pairs for the native Access DLL (crdb_dao.dll). So we need
    ' to clear them, and then add the name and value pairs that
    ' are required to connect to the OLEDB data source.
    ' Clear all the ConnectioProperty objects from the collection.
    CPProperties.DeleteAll
    ' Add the name value pair for the provider.
    CPProperties.Add "Provider", "SQLOLEDB"
    ' Add the name value pair for the data source (server).
    CPProperties.Add "Data Source", "ServerA"
    ' Add the name value pair for the database.
    CPProperties.Add "Initial Catalog", "pubs"
    ' Add the name value pair for the user name.
    CPProperties.Add "User ID", "UserName"
    ' Add the name value pair for the password.
    CPProperties.Add "Password", "password"
    ' Set the table name. ' for SQL types it would be "database.dbo.table"
    DBTable.Location = "Customer"
    Screen.MousePointer = vbHourglass
    ' Set the report source of the viewer and view the report.
    CRViewer1.ReportSource = Report
    CRViewer1.ViewReport
    Screen.MousePointer = vbDefault
    End Sub

  • How to change the Data Foundation for an existing Business Element

    My Issue:
    I have quite a few reports that use the same Business View. The Business View has an under lying Data Foundation that uses a Dynamic Data Connection (DDC). I no longer want to use this DDC because production users are complaining they do not want to have to select a data source each time (multiple times when the report includes sub reports) they run/refresh their reports.
    The Holy Grail:
    I would like to change the Data Foundation that my Business Element layer is built upon and use another data foundation with identical tables, linking, and fields. The new data foundation would be using a production connection. This solves my immediate issue and has a great side benefit of providing a convenient way to promote reports from development to stage/test, to production and would not require production users  to have to select which environment they want their report to run against.
    I am logged in to BVM as administrator:
    When I look at the Business Element layer Property Browser,  I see a Data Foundation Property but is is disabled (such that it can not be changed).
    Is there a way to change the Data Foundation that is used by an existing Business Element layer ?
    I'd appreciate any help that someone can offer on this topic. Even if it is not possible and someone can shed some light on why this would not work or would not be a good idea, I'd be interested in learning

    Technically No the system will not allow you to change as it is involved with many depreciation areas and change is not permitted for control reason.
    You only need to retire the asset, reverse the postings, assign correctly and repost the values.

  • How can I change the date format in Reminders and in Notes?

    How can I change the date format in both Notes and Reminders? Preference on Imac and Settings in IOS do not allow me to change the format in those 2 apps.
    I Like to see 10oct rather than 10/10, as an example.

    I do not have Mavericks or iOS - but the first thing I would do is reset the defaults - I'll use Mavericks as an example
    From If the wrong date or time is displayed in some apps on your Mac - Apple Support
    OS X Yosemite and Mavericks
        Open System Preferences.
        From the View menu, choose Language & Region.
        Click the Advanced button.
        Click the Dates tab.
        Click the Restore Defaults button.
        Click the Times tab.
        Click the Restore Defaults button.
        Click OK.
        Quit the app where you were seeing incorrect dates or times displayed.
        Open the app again, and verify that the dates and times are now displayed correctly.
    Then customize to taste - OS X Mavericks: Customize formats to display dates, times, and more
    OS X Mavericks: Customize formats to display dates, times, and more
    Change the language and formats used to display dates, times, numbers, and currencies in Finder windows, Mail, and other apps. For example, if the region for your Mac is set to United States, but the format language is set to French, then dates in Finder windows and email messages appear in French.
        Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Language & Region.
        Choose a geographic region from the Region pop-up menu, to use the region’s date, time, number, and currency formats.
        To customize the formats or change the language used to display them, click Advanced, then set options.
        In the General pane, you can choose the language to use for showing dates, times, and numbers, and set formats for numbers, currency, and measurements.
        In the Dates and Times panes, you can type in the Short, Medium, Long, and Full fields, and rearrange or delete elements. You can also drag new elements, such as Quarter or Milliseconds, into the fields.
        When you’re done customizing formats, click OK.
        The region name in Language & Region preferences now includes “Custom” to indicate you customized formats.
    To undo all of your changes for a region, choose the region again from the Region pop-up menu. To undo your changes only to advanced options, click Advanced, click the pane where you want to undo your changes, then click Restore Defaults.
    To change how time is shown in the menu bar, select the “Time format” checkbox in Language & Region preferences, or select the option in Date & Time preferences.
    Here's the result AppleScript i use to grab the " 'Short Date' ' + ' 'Short Time' "  to paste into download filenames - works good until I try to post it here - the colon " : " is a no-no but is fine in the Finder
    Looks like iOS Settings are a bit less robust
