SOLVED:Portlet Producers not showing in directory structure

Hey all,
I'm building a portal site with WebCenter and Portlets. I have created a portlet and successfully deployed it to my WebCenter AS. Then I create a Portlet Producer in JDeveloper. It creates without errors, but it is not displayed in the application navigator. I ran through the tutorial and it worked perfectly there, so now I'm running through it again, but this time with values relevant for my project, with that result.
Any ideas why it isn't displaying? (The files and folders are created correctly in Windows Explorer).
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.

It seems solved.... I restarted JDev and did all steps over again and couldn't reproduce the problem.

  • Eclipse not showing the directory structure from CVS repository.

On my eclipse, when I click on the CVS repository perspective. I dont see names of the module under HEAD. I mean I dont see the directories. I cant see what modules are there.
This functionality was always working and all of sudden it stopped working.
I think I am connected to CVS, as I am able to update and compare the projects.
To solve this issue I discarded the cvs location and created it once more. Have also restarted the eclipse. But doesnt help.
Can anyone let me know how to get this tree structure back?

I am sure someone could, but you'd need to ask them. Posting this question in this forum or even this site seems highly suboptimal. What does the java compiler have to do with your problem? An eclipse forum would seem more appropriate, and maybe a cvs forum but you'd need to use the cvs command line tools to determine whether it was eclipse or cvs.
Anyway, as a first step I think you should start with [How to ask questions the smart way|http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html]

I have finally solved my problem regarding my comments not showing up on blogs and websites. I changed my email address and that seems to have done the trick. Just in case anyone else runs into the same thing. Thanks Miriam for trying to help me.

Judging by the number of other threads on this, yes many people have been having Yahoo mail issues with push, and it appears to be on Yahoo's side, not Apple's.

    Hi,
If you get the following msg while selecting the BS in Receiver Determination
"Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
    1) Open ID-----Double click on Business system that which u are using in the scenario
    2) Check whether you are able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB
    3) If it is not there means goto SLD----Open the Technical System of R/3 by choosing Web as ABAp type
    4) Click on Installed Products TAB
    5) Click on Add New product and add your Product of the SWC whcih you are using for developement and Save it
    6) Then goto Business systems TAB in the same Technical systems window and click on the Business System appears in the window.
    7) Click on Installed products and Check the check box of your Product and then finally save that.
Now you should be able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB in ID

  • Portlet Repository Not Showing Up

7 I have somehow lost the ability to see my Portlet Repository. I was
experimenting with permissions on the portlets (I didnt think a public
    user
(normal user) should be able to add any of the Oracle-provided portlets
    to
their page, and was trying to hide them from all users except the
    portal_admin
users.), and I can no longer see any portlets as user portal30.
    Actually,
    the portlet repository looks empty.
7 When I try to add a new portlet to an existing page (region), I see
    the
view by: category/provider option, but everything underneath it is
    blank.
7 I still see the existing (customized/used) portlets on the right side
    of the
window, and they seem to be working properly.
7 When I try to access the Portlet Repository from the Administer
    display
(Display Portlet Repository), I get a completely blank page. No links
    (to
refresh, etc.) are even shown at the top.
7 Im wondering if there is a database table I can look at and change
    the
permissions on so that I see the portlets again. (Or, Maybe its not
    that
simple) I dont believe that I have deleted anything, so I think its
    just a
    visibility problem.
    7 ANY IDEAS?

Web Cache shouldn't impact this (but I'm not saying that it isn't ;-)
    Try the following:
    1) refresh the portlet repository by clicking the "refresh" button in the provider registration page
    2) check the security settings on the portlets - portlets will not be displayed if either the portal security (applied via the portlet repository) or portlet security (applied by adding a SecurityManager to a portlet) denies access

  • Struts Portlet does not show images when it is accessed outside the domain

    Hi all,
I am using Oracle 10.1.2. I have created a Struts portlet. When I view the struts portlet from my office domain (University domain) it works well and shows the images properly. However, if I try to access the same page containing the struts portlet from some other domain (my home), I cannot see the images and CSS associated with the page. This might be a firewall issue. Is there any way out?
    Best regards,
    Omer

    I fixed the problem.  (YAY!)
It was the way I embedded the files -- the Dreamweaver default does not work properly so I used the embed from this generator: http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/generator/index.html#alternativeContentHelp which now lets my navbar and swfobjects load properly.  I also made sure that my slideshow (loader.swf) was set with wmode = opaque while the navbar is set to wmode = transparent.  The div for the nav bar has z-index set to 5 while the div for the slideshow has z-index set to 1.  Both have absolute positioning.  I hope this helps anyone in the future that has trouble with overlaying flash (.swf) files.
Thanks for your reply and trying to help me solve this issue!

  • [solved] Wireless interface not showing up -- Eeepc 1000HE

Edit: for future generations, the fix is to install rfkill, then do "rfkill unblock all". wlan0 should then show up with iwconfig.
I've followed the Wireless Setup guide as best I could, but it's still not working. ifconfig only sees eth0 and lo.
The page for my laptop doesn't seem to apply -- it says that wireless works out of the box (it doesn't) and that if it doesn't, the command "ifconfig wlan0 up" should produce "SIOCSIFFLAGS: no such file or directory".
But for me, it produces "wlan0: unknown interface: No such device"
I've tried all the drivers that seemed relevant, and ath_pci seems to be the right one; at least, lsmod shows that the module wlan is being used by ath_pci, which I guess is a step in the correct direction. I honestly don't know.
Did I just stupidly miss a step somewhere, or is something actually wrong?
    Thanks in advance.

...awesome. I learn something new every day.
That fixed it. To everyone who responded: thank you! You guys are awesome. ^_^
    Edit: ok, another problem.
    when I run this:
iwconfig wlan0 essid "MyEssid" key s:asciikey
    I get:
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device wlan0; Invalid Argument
I get quite a few hits on google for the problem, but no solutions that would work for me. One solution is to use Network Manager, but I don't have a gui set up yet, so that's out.
Edit: Ok, I think I fixed it... I don't have a wireless network around at the moment to test it out, but at least it's now going through the motions. The solution is to use netcfg instead if iwconfig. In /etc/network.d/examples/ there are examples for different network types. Just take the relevant one, copy it up one directory (so it's in /etc/network.d/) alter the details, make sure it's named "wireless" and that the CONNECTION line in the script is also "wireless" (or rather, I think they just need to match).
Then run netcfg wireless and it'll hopefully work. You may have to be running the net-profiles daemon -- I added that to rc.conf while trying something else out and I don't know if it's actually needed.

Please review OSS note 536954, which describes the setup of a separate cluster resource that DB12 will use.  You may also need to review 657999 for DB13 operations.

  • [SOLVED] Flash drive not showing up in /dev

When I plug in a flash drive to the USB 2.0/3.0 ports on my computer, nothing changes in /dev. I don't see any /dev/sdb either.
lsusb shows the flash drives, and /dev/bus/usb/ contains the correct files. fdisk and lsblk don't show the flash drives.
Here's the dmesg output for plugging a flash drive into the USB 2.0 port:
    [13146.969084] usb 4-1.1: new high-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci
I'm trying to mount the flash drives manually, but I can't if I can't find the device. What's going on?

The version number were different, and rebooting fixed the problem. I see the flash drive in /dev and in /run/media. Thanks guys.
One more question. What program is automounting my flash drive in /run/media?
EDIT: I'll mark this question as solved and make a new question.

  • Finder not showing "Applications" directory, crashing on accessing or calculating size

After upgrading my MacBook Pro LAte 2012 to Yosemite I found that
    - I see no applications in "Applications" anymore - but they exist as I can run them.
    - getting "Information" on the directory will crash the Information window after about 5sec.
    - copying something into "Application" will crash the Finder.
    - also from time to time the finder restarts itself (crashes).
I did CMD-R on bootup went to the disc repair and repaired the accessrights - no solution to my problem
I did sudo mdutil -E / - still no "applications" show up in the directory
Maybe someone gets information from my CrashLog - that is full with "deny" and "com.apple.security...." problems:

    Did a Clean Install now.
Createt a new adminuser first - Applications show no Icons in Icon view - when switching to list view I can see the programs.
My MacBook Pro also shows that there are 1,9GB in 50 applications
So I use the migration assistant and reinstalled my profile from the last time machine backup.
But its still the same problem here - nothing is shown withn the Applications directory - neither Icon view nor list view.
The only difference now is - that Information now shows that there are "1.9GB used by 0 applications" - instead of "0 bytes used by 0 applications" as before.

  • [SOLVED]Mutt will not show new incoming mails

    Hello,
I set up on my box Mutt + offlineimap + msmstp with my gmail account.
msmtp is working fine, offlineimap is croned to run each 3 mn and do its job, as it fetch new mails.
My issue is that I do not see the new emails coming on my terminal. If I don't type <gg> (go to top of index), I will not see the new incoming mails.
This issue seems to me new (a few days), so maybe did I changed some config line or did a package upgrade modified some behavior.
On request I can post my muttrc and offlineimaprc.
    Thank you for any help.

I added these two lines in my muttrc:
    set mail_check = 5
    set mail_check_recent = yes
But it didn't changed anything. I still need to return <gg>.
Intuitively, my first idea was that Mutt didn't know where to look at to see if new mails are here. As I am not an experienced user, my config files may certainly contain errors, even if I spent days to write them. But if Mutt doesn't know where to look at, it shouldn't show new emails when I go to top of index.

  • [SOLVED] Volume groups not showing up after update

    nunikasi wrote:
    Hello!
I run a arch linux setup with LVM volumes on a LUKS encrypted drive /dev/sda. The header resides in the initramfs-linux-ck.img (So kernel and header are on a USB stick and my hard drive is completely encrypted).
Everything worked nicely with this setup until today. I ran a
    pacman -Syu
and the kernel was updated as normal and made a new initramfs-linux-ck.img on the usb stick (mounted in /boot). This is the way I always updated the kernel, and it always worked, but for some reason, after the reboot, and after typing my passphrase I got an error
ERROR: device '/dev/mapper/nunikasi-root' not found. Skipping fsck.
This was strange, so I booted the latest arch live-cd and did a
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda nunikasi --header (pathToHeaderFile)
and entered the passphrase and still there are no volume groups in /dev/mapper. Am I wrong in thinking that this command should load my volume groups as
    /dev/mapper/nunikasi-root
    and
    /dev/mapper/nunikasi-home
    Running
    vgscan
    also reports no volume groups.
    Additional information:
Last time I updated the kernel was around 24th of June.
I did run pacman -r linux before the update, assuming there is no need for it since I run linux-ck. I hope this is not relevant.
Do you know what went wrong?
    What was the problem?
As I saw that dm-crypt had a problem with finding my logical volumes, I fired up
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda nunikasi --header (pathToHeaderFile)
    dhex /dev/mapper/nunikasi
and found that the lvm metadata was cut in half. So I ran
    dhex /dev/mapper/nunikasi /dev/sda
and quickly saw that there was an attempt to make a MBR on /dev/sda (I saw the boot signature 55 aa on offset 1FE-1FF). I remembered that I tried to use GParted some days earlier to format a memory stick, and I probably forgot to change from /dev/sda before creating a MBR. This is most probably what happened, and now I had to restore the metadata in some way.
    What was the solution?
As I had never made a backup of the metadata, I knew that LVM makes one for you and puts it in /etc/lvm/backup/. So I fired up dhex on /dev/mapper/nunikasi and searched for it. Found the offset and did:
    dd if=/dev/mapper/nunikasi count=2148 skip=8928722944 of=lvm-metadata.txt iflag=skip_bytes,count_bytes
Now I had the metadata backup and the right UUID for my physical volume. Only steps left were:
    pvcreate -ff -u [UUID] —restorefile lvm-metadata.txt /dev/mapper/nunikasi
    vgcfgrestore -f lvm-metadata.txt nunikasi
    vgchange -ay
And my setup is working again!
    Have a nice day,
    nunikasi

Yes, I wrote that in the original post.
Sorry about that. I've just read it again.
OK, based on the information you've given us (LVM on LUKS, VG=nunikasi and LVs=root, home, backed up header), I would have thought that the commands you issued in your original post would have unlocked it. I'm not going to make any assumptions about the header of the actual LUKS partition though.
nunikasi wrote:I remember core/filesystems and some other core packages were updated.
I've had a look through my pacman.log and I can't think of anything that might upset it (that said, I am quite tired). I run 5 (maybe 6) different kernels (3.10, 3.12, 3.14 and 3.15 branches) and I haven't had any problems with finding PVs, VGs and LVs on either of my systems.
I'm at a loss as to what could be up right now and I'll this thread for tomorrow (because sleep beckons).
    EDIT: Wow. That's quite something.

  • [solved] Eve Online not showing up EULA even with corefonts installed

    Hi,
I tried to get it running like it is described on http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p … &iId=25823 . But even with corefonts installed by winetricks the EULA won't show up. Any ideas?
Edit: The EULA actually shows up when waiting over a minute.

Thanks, I had to change mscvr80 and mscvr90 to (builtin, native) also, but your msvcr100 tip lead me there.  Works well for me now, thank you for sharing your experience.

What am i missing here ??? can some body help
    vi

    Might be caching issue.
    Try this:
Add : &1=2 at the end of URL in the location bar and press enter. If is appears then it is just a caching issue.
    Thanx,
    Chetan.

  • Directory Structure

I just created a network installer for Q4 Release.  We have Developers, Full, and Debug licenses.  The DVDs were copied to the VLM computer's harddrive.  When I created the Debug configuration, the Network Installer reported the the DVDs did not have to be modified and would copy them directly.  When the network installed was done, it did not create the directory structure similiar to what the help file below shows.
    LabVIEW 8.0
    \_SourceFiles
    \Fourth Floor Engineering
    \Client
    vlmclient.exe
    other files
    setup.exe
    \Applications Group
    \Client
    vlmclient.exe
    other files
    setup.exe
Figure 1. Network Installer Directory Structure
    I would have expected
    LabView 8.6
        \Source Files
        \Debug
            \Client
               vlmclient.exe
             setup.exe
Only the \DISK1, \DISK2, \DISK3, \DISK4 were created.  The vlmclient.exe was not created.
    Paul
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

When you were creating the VLI, did you get a popup message that said the source did not need modification? If you saw that popup, that means VLM was not pointed to a valid source file location, which will cause a direct copy of the files with no additions.
If you select a valid source location, you should not see that message and the Product Name field should automatically populate. If you are using the Dev Suite or Platform DVDs, you will need to follow the steps in the KnowledgeBase article I refered to in my previous post.
Here is an example of what copying the installer directory could look like if you just copy the LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD 1:
    LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD 1\_SourceFiles
\(the _SourceFiles directory will contain a copy of DVD 1)
                                                    \LV PDS (License Set name)
                                                            \setup.exe
                                                            \Client
\vlmclient.exe (as well as some other vlm files)
On the client machine, you would want to run "setup.exe" to begin the installation.
