Uninstall ruby-headers.  Update. Then update ruby-headers to match the new version of ruby.

  • Two different headers required in Adobe form

    Hi All
I have a requirement like two different headers  required so that I can display one header in the first page and other header in the subsequent pages.
For this I added 2 master pages with 2 different headers.
For  the master page I have added one sub form it contains the address of the employee.
For the second master page I have added one more subform where I have data in a table.
While executing the report, I am gettting first master page header in 1, 3. 5 ..so on pages and second master header getting in 2, 4 , 6 ...and so on pages.
Finally I am getting address in first page only with first master page header, second page with table along with second master page header and third page getting the header  of first master page but content was overflowed from second page.
Here I required from second page onwards, second master page header and second subform details where I added table.
    Please help me on this...
    Thank you all
    Regards
    Rama

    Hi Otto
Thanks for you reply, I have tried by giving 2 in tab pagination for PAGE2. But still PAGE1 master page header is repeating in output 3rd page.
Also I  set property, restrict page occurence (1, 1) for PAGE1 master page.  But still same issue I am facing.
Please help if you have any idea.
    Thanks
    Jayapal.

  • Can anyone solve this query requirement

Would like to know if anyone solved this situation in the query before. If yes, or If you have any ideas, could you please share it with me.
    Below is the scenario.
Cube data: We have a number of 'FACILIIES'. 'Surveys' are conducted for each facility once in every six to 18 months. No fixed time intervals though. And surveys are numbered sequencially, always in the increasing order with respect to time. each survey has a 'survey date'. and a keyfigure 'Count'.
DATA IN THE CUBE AS OF 4/30/2005
    FACILITY...SURVEYID...SURVEYDATE...COUNTKEYFIGURE

    624...         245...  4/15/2005...    6
If the query is run for the above data, is shouls be displayed like this.

Once the data is updated further, this is the data in the Cube as of 10/30/2005

Dynamically, the latest survey and previous survey has to be determined. Any ideas on how to solve... We alrady thought of making changes to the Survey Master data. Any thing that can be done in the query itself?
    thanks
    Gova
(I could not improve the display format, so I used '...' to separate the fields. may be SDN should look into improving the display format)

    Hi Gova..
We too had a similar requirement..to get the previous records..
We had to end up having to populate the Previous record in a seperate field on the same line..
I think you are on the right path to modify the master data and have the previous survey and previous count populated on every line..
    Good Luck

  • [solved] Linux headers more recent than kernel

I went to upgrade today and saw that linux-api-headers were in the list of upgrades. I thought this was odd since the kernel wan't in there also. I checked and the kernel is still in testing, while the api headers have been moved to core. It just didn't seem safe to run the run the upgrade. Am I worrying about nothing?
[edit] Run upgrade; nothing exploded. Solved.

    What's the output of
pacman -Si linux linux-api-headers | grep Version
With my current mirror I get
    Version : 3.17.6-1
    Version : 3.16.2-1
so the headers are trailing the kernel for me. I'm inclined to believe that this is a problem worth reporting on the bug tracker, but I don't know enough to say for sure.
For reference, the latest committed PKGBUILDs are for versions 3.18.1 and 3.18, respectively.

Yes. linux-api-headers aren't used by the kernel. They're just a build dependency for the toolchain.
I am no longer inclined as above.

  • [SOLVED]Yaourt not requiring Sudo

I just installed in yaourt through the archlinuxfr repository method, and I realized that yaourt -Syua updates both the aur and non-aur packages -- without requiring root privileges.  I think that that is potentially harmful.  Is there something that can remedy this?
I am using termite/zsh and I did a bit of reading:
    https://github.com/robbyrussell/oh-my-zsh/pull/488
Seems like they made a change here?   I don't have any aliases in my zshrc though.

Not sure but i speculate the NOPASSWD tag was used in the soduers file. Here's an extract of sudoers man page:
    NOPASSWD and PASSWD
By default, sudo requires that a user authenticate him or herself before running a command. This behavior can be modified via the NOPASSWD tag.
Like a Runas_Spec, the NOPASSWD tag sets a default for the commands that follow it in the Cmnd_Spec_List. Conversely, the PASSWD tag can be used to
    reverse things. For example:
    ray rushmore = NOPASSWD: /bin/kill, /bin/ls, /usr/bin/lprm
would allow the user ray to run /bin/kill, /bin/ls, and /usr/bin/lprm as root on the machine rushmore without authenticating himself. If we only
want ray to be able to run /bin/kill without a password the entry would be:
    ray rushmore = NOPASSWD: /bin/kill, PASSWD: /bin/ls, /usr/bin/lprm
Note, however, that the PASSWD tag has no effect on users who are in the group specified by the exempt_group option.
By default, if the NOPASSWD tag is applied to any of the entries for a user on the current host, he or she will be able to run ``sudo -l'' without a
password. Additionally, a user may only run ``sudo -v'' without a password if the NOPASSWD tag is present for all a user's entries that pertain to
the current host. This behavior may be overridden via the verifypw and listpw options.
Obviously, this is kinda dangerous, specially if OP had/has ALL:ALL rights....
Anyway. OP said he didn't run "sudo yaourt" but "yaourt" alone. Does that mean yaourt has some kind of condition in its code where basically if user isn't root, it attempts to run exec commands with sudo?

  • [SOLVED]Kernel Headers Mixup

    Hello Everyone,
I've gotten myself into a bit of a confusing situation, hope someone can help out.
The output for 'uname -r' is:
    $uname -r
    3.4.7-1-ARCH
However, the directory '/lib/modules/' has the following contents:
    $ls /lib/modules
    3.4.8-1-ARCH extramodules-3.4-ARCH
Naturally, 'make' seeks for the 3.4.7 headers and terminates when it can't find them.
make: *** /lib/modules/3.4.7-1-ARCH/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
    make: *** [LINUX] Error 2
What should I do? Should I upgrade to kernel 3.4.8, or downgrade the headers to 3.4.7. In either case, I don't know how to proceed.
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much Allan. I can't believe I overlooked that! I did a 'pacman -Syu' recently but I didn't realize there were kernel updates included..
    Well, thanks again

  • [SOLVED] - Minimum Hardware Requirements ??

I've searched the forum and used Google to search for the Minimum Hardware requirements for Arch Linux (archlinux-2011.08.19-core-i686).
References in the searches state that the information is in the Install Guide, but I can't locate it in there.  I do see the reference to the CPU type.
Some references in the searches state 128M RAM and others state 192M?  Has this been updated for the latest Version?  Or, has this information
been moved or deleted from the Install Guide/Wiki?  If so, where is it located?  Please help me find the Current Hardware Specifications.
    Thanks.
    Larry

"A Pentium Pro, Pentium II or AMD Athlon (K7) processor or higher is required. (technically, cpu's without the cmov instruction such as AMD K6 and via C3 are also i686, but we use gcc and it uses cmov instructions)."
    # cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep flags
If there's a "cmov" in there it should be fine.

Ubuntu dropped support for it with the 10.10 release (2010).

  • [SOLVED] linux-headers package creation

Given a full kernel sources folder, how do I recreate the whole set of files that the package linux-headers provides?
"make headers_install" provides some but not all of those.
How is the package created? Is there any info on the logic behind it?
    Thanks

  • [Solved] Random Freezes Requiring Manual Power off

Since I built this system, I've been getting random freezes that force me to have to manually power off and back on the entire system.  I have no idea what's causing it and I've tried everything under the sun that I can think of to resolve it to no avail.  I posted about this a while back in another forum, but I'm hoping I'll have better luck here.
    Symptoms:
Entire system will completely freeze.  No input is recognized, keyboard controls do not function (numlock, caps lock, etc.), cannot switch to another TTY, nothing.  There appears to be no rhyme or reason to when the freezes occur.  Sometimes the machine will be sitting idle and freeze in the middle of the night and I'll come in in the morning and find it frozen, other times I'll be in the middle of using it and it will freeze (as just happened).  Every time I have to hold down the power button to shut off, then turn it back on.
    What I've tried so far:
    Swapping out all the RAM
Completely wiping the entire system and re-installing from the ground up (twice now I've done this)
Unplugging various USB devices and seeing if leaving those unplugged helps (it does not).
I'm at my wits end.  This has been going on for months and I have no idea what to do at this point. This is the most stumped I've ever been.
The thing that drives me the most nuts is that I have an almost *identical* system at home (the one that's freezing is my work computer).  Same CPU, same motherboard, same SSD partitions and layout, virtually the exact same software installed as well.  The only differences are a different GPU, different band of RAM, different brand of SSD, and a different case.  The specs from my home computer are in my signature and I can provide exact hardware info on the work system if anyone thinks it'll help.
I'm willing to provide whatever information anyone can suggest to help troubleshoot the issue.  I've got a bunch of log output from journalctl from various times it's crashed, but I haven't been able to make sense of it with regards to finding patterns or useful troubleshooting information.  Below is the most recent log from a few minutes before and after the crash.  You'll see the reboot at 17:51:40
    (sudo journalctl --since 17:45:00)

My thinking is that Plasma is not "playing" nicely with nvidia, I have two systems in my pc, one with kde4 and the other one (my testing system) with plasma, kde4 runs as it should, no lags, no freezes, no redrawing problems, fast and smooth. My plasma system is really not there, I tweak both systems the same, 20-nvidia.config on the xorg.d folder created by the nvidia settings, same where I also tweak all settings to juice my video card to its fullest (a really weak one by the way, a fanless gt430) and the triple buffering enabled for kde. I do have freezes with Plasma that lock the whole system, no keyboard input, and its been more or less the same since its release (for me that is), I am keep waiting to see if the "next" release would do, 5.3 still not yet. I also notice that compositing effects makes things worst, for example, snapping a window to a corner or to maximize when wobbly effect is on is a sure shot for a freeze for my system, I just update today the linux kernel and the nvidia driver, would see if that helps a little. My advice, for a stable system stick to kde4 still.
Edit: Note, I have a good old amd phenom 6 cores and I always run it with some over-clocking, never have issues with that on my previous install or my main system.
