SOLVED: SPA2102, WRP400, SPA8000, SRP521 and SRP521-U FAX NSE fails with empty Payload c0000000

Hi Experts.
In my SIP network there is a Cisco PGW 9.6(1) used as PSTN gateway. PGW call agent controls many Cisco AS5400 via MGCP. We use Linksys SPA2102 to connect fax and modem devices.
Both PGW and AS5400 are configured to support FAX passthrough upspeeding via NSE event. Also SPA2102 devices are configured to support FAX passthrough NSE.
After many tests and debugs I see that SPA2102 doesn't recognize NSE event sent from AS5400.
From debug and wireshark traces you can see that AS5400 sends NSE 192 event correctly (see attachments).
So I've try to compare this scenario with a working one. The only difference is in the Payload content of NSE messages.
With AS5400 the Payload is c0000000. I think tath this is an empty payload while with different gateway or ATA the payload is c096c4e. In this last case SPA detects correctly NSE message.
Is this a BUG of SPA2102?

Hi experts, I updated this post after several months because we need information about the status of this issue.
Now we are using the firmware 2.00.21 for WRP400 (a beta) and the firmware 5.2.10 for SPA2102 devices.
No news about next release of WRP400 and the last software for SPA 5.2.12 doesn't fix this issue.
Now we must take a decision for buying thousand CPE for current year. If this issue will not fixed during this month we will be forced to change products and vendor !!!

We are trying not able to get to the right parameter value. (changed it from 5000, 4000, 3000, & 1000) without much help. Did any of you had to change this parameter. How low or High can this parameter be changed?
We would like to understand if changing any other parameters would help in RSADMIN table would help?
Any thoughts from the experts would be appreciated

SSIS package runs from BIDS and by Executing package, but failing with Job

I have SQL Serve 2012 SSIS. I have problems to run from SQL Server Agent Job.
Steps runs SSIS package without configuration file. Package Run64BitRuntime is False in BIDS.
Package is runned by SQL Server Agent Service Account.
Server does not have Office 2010/2013 installed. Should it be installed?

Calendar server and address book server login fails with outlook connector

I have installed Java Communication Suite 5 according to the doc http://blogs.sun.com/factotum/resource/comms5-install-linux.html.
When i deploy the connector i get the pop ups saying "Server:servername:3080
Error:service not available" also
"Server:servername:80/uwc"
Error:service not available"
asking to login to calendar server and address book server.Clicking "OK" allows install.
In outlook i can send and receive mails but not the meeting requests.It gives the error "login to calendar server" when i create a meeting request.
Please let me know what i have to do to get rid of the error.The username and passwd entered is correct.

I would check through the outlook connector deployment configuration to verify that you have inserted valid information into all of the host & port fields - perhaps check the .ini file that is created to see if it has "Server" and "servername" listed.

IPhone 3GS first gives warning: unknown IMEI and unknown ICCID! Restoring failes with error 1002!

My iPhone 3GS suddendly couldn't connect to the mobile provider's network. As I was in a rural place, I though this was because of bad coverage. It was then still possible to use Wi-Fi. After a while the phone asked to connect to itunes and gave the following warning: unknown IMEI and unknown ICCID.
I tried recovering it but procedures failes after hours with error 1002.
Is there a fix for this problem or do I need to go to a service center?

Thanks Carolyn, I've tried all the options, but still it does not finish the recovering process. It stops with still a half millimeter on the statusbar .
Will probably just have to go to a service center. I already read that more people have the same problem and no one found a solution. As I am abroad and my iPhone largely exceeded the warranty time, I wonder what they will charge.

Demote Server and Remove AD DS Role fails with "the target principal name is incorrect"

Hi all,
I am attempting to demote a domain controller so i can remove the AD DS role and have the server just its own workstation.
This domain controller has never replicated the domain and DS services were/are not working. We didnt discover this until the other domain controller died and has since been rebuilt with a brand new domain. The old domain no longer exists whatsoever.
So as said, I'm trying to demote this server, there is no domain to tidy up afterwards. However even with force removal option I'm getting the DFS Replication error: "the target principal name is incorrect". I do not exactly require
it do this myself, there is nothing to replicate anymore, i just need the DC demoted or role completely removed. There are no other DC's to transfer FSMO's or anything like that as its to be completely stand-alone.
Does anyone have any ideas how this role can be forcibly removed other than using the " force removal option " in ADDS config wizard?
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

You can try to use Ntdsutil.exe to perform metadata cleanup.
If this doesn’t work, then I agree with Ed that you would need to reinstall the machine.

[SOLVED] Blinking screen - new Xorg and Intel issue

Screen is blinking after opening laptop lid no matter what i did (nothing, lock screen, hibernate, standby). It blinks every 10-20 seconds for about 1-2 seconds, and cpu% used by X's raises from 0.3-1.0 to even 10% and system slows down a little in that moment. My Xorg logs:

Blinking stops when i restart computer.
I have newest xorg and intel drivers (xorg-server 1.7.1.901-2 & xf86-video-intel 2.9.1-1). I tried also downgrade this (and related) packages to older versions (even xorg-server 1.5.* & xf86-video-intel 2.4.*) and the same happens... with only one difference. On that oldest packages I've tried screen doesn't blinks, but the wallpaper of the desktop is changing: my -> default -> my -> default... with the same frequency . I was googling a lot, believe me. I study IT on a University and I asked my friends from there, and they just run out of ideas. In addition i can write that it isn't my laptop fault because windows xp works fine and ubuntu 9.04 (i had before archlinux) also worked good. It has started on ubuntu 9.10, so I thought I move to archlinux, and its still here? I suppose its a problem with intel drivers or xorg, but somehow linked with power management of the monitor(?). But why then older packages don't work? Please, I will be grateful for any help.

You may have a hard drive problem. When I installed Lion, the installer told me that it couldn't complete because the hard drive was failing (or broken, the exact words escape me). Since the HD had been functioning just fine, I took it to the Genius Bar, and found out that yes, the hard drive was slowly dying (bad sectors). I couldn't reboot into Snow Leopard, the installer wouldn't let me and then the drive just wouldn't work at all.
I had to replace my drive and restore from Time Machine. Thankfully, I had Time Machine, and had just done a backup 5 minutes before the crash.

[SOLVED] transmission-daemon segfaulting, trapped, and others

Originally I was having the same problem with Rtorrent when I hit about 4000 torrents. Now I'm slightly above 6000 torrents with Transmission, and it has recently started crashing with messages like these in the syslog:

and these are the 3 just from this boot. I have a theory it only starts to happen after the system has been running for a few days, but I've just rebooted it to see if crashes in the same fashion.
Regardless, since this also happened with rtorrent at fewer torrents, I'm thinking I could be experiencing memory corruption. Is there a reliable way to check for this, without putting down the system for too long? I have a webserver serving 2 sites, which I'd prefer didn't stay offline for too long - but if there are no alternatives, then so be it.

Solved, it was a RAM issue. Replaced all the sticks and now it has been running for weeks without a crash.
