I have installed WinRar from AUR and I don't know where I should put the license key file.

There's a order.htm file in the source archive that's not installed by the packaging process, it states:
If you use RAR/Unix and RAR for OS X, you should copy rarreg.key to your home directory or to one of the following directories: /etc, /usr/lib, /usr/local/lib, /usr/local/etc. You may rename it to .rarreg.key or .rarregkey, if you wish, but rarreg.key is also valid.

License key for a J2EE Engine standalone system

Hi,
I installed a J2EE Engine 7.0 standalone system (at first screen of installation, I selected node SAP ERP 2005 Support Release 2 to start the installation of SAP NetWeaver's software units - not software units of SAP ERP, NOT node SAP NetWeaver 2004s Support Release 2).
In http://service.sap.com/licensekey, I request a license key for my new J2EE Engine standalone system. At first page, I only see 2 installation options to select, these're corresponding to SAP ERP and SAP SOLUTION MANAGER. I select SAP ERP and at System Information page, I choose SAP product SAP NETWEAVER.
Then, I install the license key received via Visual Administrator - Server 0 - Services - Licensing Adapter. But 28 days bypass, system get down because of license expiration (not relates to the date validation).
The same thing happens when I make other license keys by choosing SAP product SAP WEB AS and SAP ERP.
Someone tell me what's wrong?

Hi Toan,
I hope you are following the procedure given in the above mentioned link (which i gave).
In the Visual Administrator choose Server 0 --> Services --> Licensing Adapter. The system data that you need to request the license from the SAP Service Marketplace appears.
¡ Installation number (if it exists)
¡ System ID,
¡ System number (if it exists)
¡ Hardware key
¡ Current release
 2. Under the Internet address service.sap.com --> mySAP Business Suite, you can get to the initial page of the license key requests in SAP Service Marketplace. Here you will find all the information you need to request license keys.
 3. Enter your e-mail address in the request. The license key will be sent to you promptly by e-mail. Alternatively, you can also download the license key from the SAP Service Marketplace.
Do not make any changes to the license key. To import the license key, the file must not have been changed.
 4. In the Licensing Adapter in the Visual Administrator choose Install License from File.
 5. Select the license file that you want from SAP.
If this doesn't solve your issue, I suggest that you post a message with SAP.

License Key Request from SOLMAN VS SMP for SAP ECC 6.0 EPH4 IDES install

Hi, SDN fellows.
I have some doubt on the right way/options to request License Key for SAP ECC 6.0 EPH4 IDES.
Previously, I read that the only way to get license key is to generate it through SAP Solution Manager. If this is the only way, we will have to install Solution Manager just to generate the license key (we are currently don't have SolMan running in our landscape).
I also read that I can request license key through http://service.sap.com/licensekey. I checked the link and see that we have the 10 digits installation number for Product: SAP ERP.. Currently there is no system defined for this installation number.
I went through the first two screens, seems like they have options for SAP ERP 6 --> IDES.
If I can get a license key from http://service.sap.com/licensekey, do I still need to install Sol. Man. to generate the license key?
What are the difference the license key generated from Sol. Man. VS the one we request from SMP?

So, now I understand I need two keys: Solution Key and also License key.
I should obtain Solman key before I start installation , as the SAPinst will ask to enter Solman key before it can proceed to install SAP ECC IDES.
You said I can obtain Solman key through OSS note. I went in to SMP just now. Navigated to Help& Support --> Report a Product Error --> New Problem Solving Request.
I selected Customer Number, Product, Instillation # , and enter * for System ID. The search result returned no system found. The problem here is we don't really have any system ID defined for SAP ERP IDES since we haven't start installing the system.
Is that true that I will only see the System ID in OSS Message interface when I submit the System ID for the license key?
I thought this is a post-installation step to apply for a license key. If I can to do it before the installation, how can I get the 11 character hardware key before installation (assuming I cannot run the SLICENSE TCode and saplikey u2013get command)?
OR how can I create OSS message to request SolMan key when I don't have a system ID (that already registered for license key) in SMP?
OR I should just go ahead to install Solution Manager to generate Solman key (during pre-installation), and request for license key in SMP in post-installation?

SAP NW CE 73 trail version license key installation shows invalid license

Hi,
I have installed SAP NW CE 73 trail version in my system.
It installed successfully, after I try to install license key using NWA it shows no valid license found.
Every time after restart it works 10-15 min after that it shows same error message (no valid license found).
Let me know how to solve my issue.

Has you contacted the seller through its Customer Service?
If that is the case and Customer Service has no idea of what you were given as a Product Key and how to use it, have you considered asking
your question in the seller's forum (PC software section)?
But, I have another idea for you to try first....are you involved in a student teacher purchase with prepaid card? If so, please click on the following link

If the above does not apply to you, then I would explore the seller forum for answers if you cannot get them from Adobe Chat or the seller's
Customer Service. Getting your money back from the seller should be tried as soon as possible if you find no solution.

Creative Cloud Trial - License Key

Hi,
Problem: "trial" version of Adobe apps (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ...) has expired after 1 month. Still having the question to enter a license key - even if I'm a creative Cloud member.
I tried all steps I've found on the forum. Even reinstalled every application.
Still having the question to enter license key. Although the previous screen shows my correct creative cloud ID.
Anyone help? It's pretty annoying after one month of trying...
Could it be as I'm using a Dutch version of the software?

UPDATE: Solved. Adobe ID language = english / download was Dutch version.
Solution: uninstall Adobe apps, change language in Settings of Adobe Application Manager to same as Adobe ID.
Download apps - activate (if necessary)

After completing the trial period, I want to require a permanent seat license key that is specific to my PC on which it is installed. Because my work has stopped due the expiration and I had tried many time to find 'EON#' or the order number printed on the Entitlement Certificate that was shipped with my 'LTU or ELTU' package(s). 9900 App World 10000 message - give me the license key now.

If I only knew that App World is so unstable... App World company did charge me for IM+ Talk, but I saw only error 10000, no license key. I was waiting for several days and nothing happened (I thought if thee error encountered it could be monitored by accounting or administration of App world) - nobody contacted me and send the license key.
Then I contacted SHAPE, vendor of IM+ Talk.Tha's what they said:

Last license check 4 weeks and evaluation license key timed out

Due to holidays and other projetcs I've used my SAP NetWeaver Sneak Preview ABAP last time in October '08, my evaluation license kex ended 12-29-08.
Today I've tried as usual to install the today requested new eval lic key.
But I'm not able to install the new license key because of different errors, for example error code 113.
And because of so long not unsing my DEMOSYSTEM there's no possibility to use a temporary license to delete the old invalid license.
So my system is now in a helpless mode with no valid key.
Does anyone have a clue how to solve this problem without reinstalling?

at first sight it sounded as a good idea - but my problem is accompanied by the fact, that I'm using my NSP in a VM and so I'm in a bit of trouble by changing system date.
Some processes request an accurate sys time and date.
Unfortunately I would have to repeat this procedure more than 2 times since last login I found out beause my last login is more than 8 weeks ago before 12-29-08...
I'm sure there must be a solution that keeps me from reinstalling ans allows me to change to a new lic.

Invalid License Key need help

I just installed kodo 3.0.1 using the windows installer, I also asked it to
install it in JBuilder9.
Then when I went into JBuilder I saw the Configure KODO JDO under tools
menu,
when I click on this selefction the dialog comes up OK
but when I try to close / OK this dialog I get an invliad license message.
One mistake I did was that I satarted JBuilder9 before I updated the
kodo.properties file.
I closed JBuiulder and then updated the properties file and tried Jbuyilder
again and got same invalid license message.
Can you tell me how to fix this ?

It wasn't clear from the documentation that I needed to do that. I am using
3.0.0 docs and maybe that was the problem.
Anyway I had added the license to the properties file and as you mentioned I
added it to the General Tab and that solved the problem . I didn't see any
project tabs.

I got the Mundu Radio Plus from the App World. I did not get the license key. I contacted the support for the software and they told they can not generate a license key, that this is done by the App World. Please inform how to get this license key. Thanks,

You shouldn't need a license key if the app was purchased in AppWorld, the license key is part of the "purchase" and should recognize as a paid app.
If you continue to have problems with this, call your mobile provider tech support and have them escalate this issue to RIM level tech support.

WebLogic Portal License Key

Hello,
I download the free trial WEbLogic Portal 4.0, I also downloaded the license key...
I placed the key in the same directory as the portal C:\bea\wlportal4.0
Than I ran the install exe. (Windows 2k --envir) and it never asked me for the
location of the license key? (as the website states)
Then I started the portal server ... and I keep getting this error:
"The WebLogic Server did not start up properly.
Exception raised: com.bea.p13n.LicenseError: No such license: WebLogic Personalization
Server 4.0, Core Server
Any Ideas?
