[SOLVED] Xscreensaver outputs log text above active screensaver

I'm having problems understanding why this happens. Running the latest xscreensaver and whenever I choose to preview or run a screensaver I get an ugly yellow log-like output either in background or foreground of the active screensaver. Only using
xscreensaver-demo
to change settings and starting the xscreensaver daemon from my ~/.xinitrc. A screenshot:
I've had this problem for a while, so if you people have an idea please share it. Thanks!

Problem solved: had to change the following X resource setting in ~/.Xresources from true to false:
xscreensaver.verbose: false
. Never mind!

Currently iam trying to modify the Java Concurrent Program (FDExtractAndFormatting) in Batch Payment Process. This Program is generated in text format in 11i APPS. Now we are upgrading to R12.1.3. In R12.1.3 output is coming as PDF format. Here my requirement is how to change the output as text format in R12.1.3 also.

1. It is seeded java concurrent program. Some attributes are missing from 11i to R12. In 11i it is a text format.So i have to investgate on how to retrive those attributes in R12. What is the concurrent program name?
Have you tried to change the output and submit the request?
2. Once all are attributes are coming in PDF format. Client wants to open same output in text format as it is 11i (In R12 it is generated in PDF format).If the above does not help, please log a SR.

Output log to application log in application server

Hi Guys,
I am pretty new on J2EE, I created a web application and deployed it on to the oracle application server. I found out that I can view the log file(application.log) for that particular web application on the application control page. What I want to achieve is outputing some custom log on to the same built-in log file. Could anyone please show me how to do that?

Hi, I figured out that ADF is a oracle's implementation of JSF, I tried above approach it did log to a log.xml in the particular folder. However, I would like to output to a log file that you can actually view in the Enterprise Manager Console...

Changing the seeded rdf report output from text to PDF

Hi All,
I am trying to change the seeded report "Print Requisition Report" output from text to PDF. I changed the output format in the concurrent program definition from text to pdf. The report is now getting displayed in pdf format, but the alignment of the fields are changed. The output is not printing as it was printing while in the text output format. The output looks very sloppy, with uneven fonts and too much of text wrapping.
I tried some formatting and fields are somehow getting displayed but doesnt look in proper format. I am not able to change the font style in the report builder 6i, even if i change it is printing in the same font style with uneven font size. I think reducing the font size might help, but i am unable to change.We are on 11.5.10.2. Please provide your valuable suggestions on how to go about.

Thanks for the information. After the adjustments in the layout and the font change the report is now getting displayed without any clipping when clicked on view output. But when the same report is printed some characters on the left and and right side is getting clipped. Please help on how to solve this issue.

How to Output Rich Text Format.

Hi everyone, i use a rich text editor called tiny mce in my web application. After i click the submit button the value inside the text area would be saved in my database including the HTML tags e.g. Sample Report edited via Tiny MCE Rich Text Editor. I need to output the text in a webuijsf static text component but the moment i see the output the tags are still there and the text is not in italics format. Does anyone know how to output it in static text with the design in it?

Connected to Domain but can't log in using Actived Directory Credentials

Hey everyone. I've been working on this issue for two weeks now, and I don't know what else to try. I'm connected to my domain but cannot get my Macbooks to log in using Active Directory credenitals both through our wireless network, and hard wired with an ethernet cable. The weird part about it is that it is not uniform all across our network. This only happens to certain Macbooks and as of right now there doesn't seem to be a pattern. I can say that it has happened to all new Macbook Pros that we have ordered lately though.
We use Jamf to manage our Macs on our network, and ever since upgrading to a new version (9.01 and now 9.1) we have had this issue. However I can't connect after manually adding the domain either, so for now it makes me think it is not a Jamf issue. Has anyone dealt with this issue before, that might know of a fix? Thanks!

I have come across a similar issue as yours. I have included the instructions that I use to bind the Mac at my institution. In regards to wifi, I have not tried binding the Mac over wifi. Should you need to log in to a Mac with domain user credentials I would suggest to bind the Mac over ethernet. Once you get to the:
*Click on triangle to the left of Show Advanced Options to expand"
portion of the instructions click on the Mappings tab and select the checkbox for creating a mobile account at login. This will create a domain user profile on the machine that you can log into when not connected to the domain.

Logging File Management Activity

We are trying to figure out if Dreamweaver keeps a text file that logs the history of renaming and moving files within a site. We want a list of both the old and new file name and path for each file moved and/or renamed within Dreamweaver. We tried the "Log..." button below the Files pane in Dreamweaver 8, but after making some test changes we found that it lists "File activity complete" for each change made instead of the specific changes applied. Is there a way to get this list? Or do we need to use subversion software in order to do this?

The log feature is meant for syncing local vs. server. If you must track local changes, indeed you will need to use other tools. I'm not sure how you fall for Subversion, though. Since it uses explicit check-in/check-out it doesn't really track anything automatically and its primary purpose is documenting changes inside specific files, anyways, not their location. It would also many times duplicate files rather than just move them, as it uses its own versioning. What you want could be achieved using tools like GridIron Flow or, most simply, by configuring your intranet file server software to use shadow copies and log all user activity.

Hi,
The development system log text differs from the production system log text after the creation of TR copies. In development system we are getting 'copies transported for requests NEW TR (COPIED TR)' and in production system we are getting 'Test transport NEW TR (COPIED TR) created'. How to solve this problem..?

Hiding password in MaxL output log

On Win2K platform, I have a MaxL script that accepts 2 parameters and performs some actions.I invoke the script using a batch file in the following format:ESSMSH C:\scripts\Script1.msh AdminID passwordThe Maxl script sends all activity to a log file which is then automatically e-mailed to end users.The problem I have is that the log file contains the AdminID and password that was used in the MaxL script. We just upgraded to Essbase 7.1.3. Due to security concern, our security auditor is concern we even see the password in the Malx output log. Even we try to doa grep -v or sed -e on the password line to replace the old log, there is still a good window long enough to people to see it. I tried spool and set message level, but none of them hides the login statement display. I also tried to use shell escape feature to run old ESSCMD login with MaxL, but couldn't get it to work. I was wondering if anyone who may have a new solution to this problem that can fix it on the fly other than fix it after the entire process is complete. Essbase really should consider provide an option to hide the password in the output logic, or pad it with XXXXXXXXX.

Handset losing call logs, texts and emails

Hi,
I have an ongoing problem with my BB and am not getting much sense from my network provider (BT Business).
Here's a bit off history:
I started the contract in November 2011 with a Torch 9860. I had numerous problems with the phone freezing and randomly losing data such as texts, call logs and emails. In 9 months I've had 5 phones and 1 sim card change, 2 weeks ago BT changed the handset to a Torch 9810.
The phone has worked fine till Friday when it started doing funny things like randomly receiving texts which were from old conversations. On saturday afternoon it lost all data by way of texts, call logs and emails that were over 24 hours old and in the last hour has lost everything over 6 hours old.
I have all calls, texts and emails going into the messages list and have that set to save everything for ever so I can chose when to delete information.
As I;m a consultant I need my call logs, texts and emails to work out my billing so this really is a pain.
I really do think this is a network issue rather than the handset.
Can anyone offer any ideas/solutions before I phone BT in the morning?

That is a very tiny database size. Go into your camera options and see where your pictures are being saved.
Something is not right. There is no reason your free memory should be so low with such small database sizes and very few apps installed. You should be pushing 200+ MB of free memory.
