Sombody help please hp 650 refuse to switch on
my lapto hp 650refuse to boot,fan refuse to start but charging and the power light is on.... please somebody help i can afford to loose my laptop..........
Try a hard reset. Take the battery out and unplug the power adapter from the notebook and let it sit without power for a minute. Then leave the battery out and plug in the power adapter. If it powers on, reinsert the battery and it should be fine.

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

Help please. Retouch refuses to work.
I've tried everything, my retouch button just will not work. I used to have iphoto6 but after a long story, i'm landed with version 5. My retouch button just wont work, any ideas to why and how i can solve this would be appreciated.

With iPhoto closed, go to Home/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iphoto.plist
Trash this plist file. iPhoto will create a new one when you reopen it.
Open iPhoto and see if the retouch tool now works ok. -

I have a 4s, and I've had that problem, too. I've tried every method mentioned on the boards. If Ellips's suggestion didn't work, try this, and please let me know if it worked:
(I did the following while the phone was connected to my pc...if that makes a difference.)
1. On the phone, go to Music.
2. Click "More."
3. Click "Shared."
4. My phone lists "iPhone" and my iTunes Libary. Try clicking the name of your music library.
5. Wait until the circle makes its loop.
The synch still failed to complete, but all of my music was on my iPhone, again. Whew. -

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

- What happens when you try to sync and restore?
- If iTunes is not seing the iPod see if restting the iPod will either fix the problem or allow you to see it in iTunes so you can restore the iPod

I have a small network. I have 3 300-28 cisco switches. I already connected my 3 servers and clients with the switch 1 and now I want to add more clients and I need to add my other two switches in the network. Thanks for your reply. I am implementing it tomorrow. By just conecting the switches together at trunk ports will there be no loop? I don't want my network chowk. I hope it will work well. I might need further help, please reply.
1. I will do setting on all switches. Assign IP addresses to switches (to Vlan 1 default).
2. Set one port (e.g 28) as trunk and all others as Access on all three switches.
3. Then I will connect the switches with each other at trunk ports. Hope there will be no loop in this setting.
4. Do I need to set any setting for stp in switches ?

My iPhone 4 although fully charges has just switched itself off and won't turn back on again. I've tried taking the sim card out but nothing happens. I'm just coming to the end of a 2 year contract and never had any problems with it before. Help please.

Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. See if that clears the glitch.

OrangeThis is no different with any carrier locked phone. Getting a carrier locked phone officially unlocked is the responsibility of the carrier, not the cell phone manufacturer. A cell phone manufacture cannot unlock a carrier locked phone without the carrier's authorization.
An iPhone sold as officially unlocked when new can be used by others as a second hand phone, and the same with any carrier locked iPhone that can be unlocked by the carrier, and many carriers offer it.
