Some actions taken while the account was offline Part 2

Some of us were getting this message with IMAP accounts: "Some actions taken while the account was offline could not be completed." with Leopard. Along with this, an email, usually too large to send, would keep saving itself in the drafts folder. The fix for this was to delete the OfflineCache folder in the IMAP folder. Well, we upgraded to Snow Leopard and now I am having the same thing happen. Except now, I dont get the message and the messages save to Recovered Messages. So I tried the old trick and that folder doesn't exist anymore. What do you guys suggest we do?

Did you solve this? Do you still see it in 10.6.2? I have
had this issue as well and am looking for an answer.

Any help I keep getting this message when I start mail?

Some actions taken while the account “MobileMe” was offline could not be completed online.
Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions when online. Mail has saved other messages in mailbox “Recovered Messages (MobileMe)” in “On My Mac” so that you can complete the actions when online.

  • Some actions taken while account was offline in Lion

"Some actions taken while the account ... was offline could not be completed online."  I have seen this message mentioned in Leopard and Snow Leopard.  I never got it in that.  I am getting it since Lion 10.7.4.  About accounts that appeared to be online at the time.  Moreover, there are messages that were sent, in that they show up in Sent mailbox, and in at least one case today I got a reply back, but here they are in the Recovered mailbox.  So were they sent or not?  Can I believe my Sent box or not?  And what "actions" were "undone ... on some messages"?  There is no list of that anywhere that I can see.

  • Infinite loop - "Some actions taken while...offline could not be completed"

I have 4 IMAP accounts (.Mac, Gmail and 2 at SpamArrest). Occasionally, I get in this infuriating state where I keep getting the following error:
"Some actions taken while the account "ClickMarkets-SA" was offline could not be complete online.
Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Mail has saved other message in mailbox "INBOX.Sent Messages" in "On My Mac" so that you can complete the
    actions while online.
Additional information: The connection to the server "mail.spamarrest.com" on port 993 timed out."
The only way I've found to resolve this infinite loop of messages (which subsequently backs up all other mail processing) is to quit mail, then cd to ~/Library/Mail/[email protected]/.OfflineCache and delete everything in there then relaunch mail.
In each cases, I end up with a mailbox folder (Sent or Drafts) in the folder "On My Mac" which has one copy for each attempt at handling the message "online."
I opened up the Connection Doctor and looked at the log details and saw that Mail is opening a socket to spamarrest and starting an APPEND operation on my INBOX.Drafts folder -- I have "store drafts on server" checked. It appears the APPEND operation is hanging and causing a timeout (see transcript below). This happens every 60 seconds. The error that I see after the timeout is:
    * BYE [ALERT] Fatal error: INTERNAL ERROR: Keyword hashtable memory corruption.: Input/output error
    Who's Fatal error is that?
SpamArrest is trying to tell me the problem is with both of my computers and not their server. (Yes, this is hitting both my MacBook Pro and my iMac). Can anyone shed some more light on this? IMAP should be able to handle multiple computers so I don't see that as a problem. Is my Mail app not following protocol? Is it a filesystem issue (e.g. SpamArrest doesn't like the name of the folder)?
    Thanks.

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
and my internet is connect and every thing fine with web site that I don't have register or response

Thanks for responding, David. Using <Esc> and <CtrlW> might reduce the time in returning to the other tab, but does little when the triggering of a wanton alarm is very frequent. The connections I have used were extremely reliable and fast. I am using at this moment a 54 Mbps WiFi connection that lives up to its ratings in downloading & uploading data; yet, as shown in the attached image, I still get this worthless alarm. I do not know if this problem happens with my regular ISP since I have been using this tiny notebook only when traveling -- will test that once I am back mostly for curiosity, but even then if then the alarm were not triggered this would be of little consolation, since other browsers do not have the problem right now).
As a moderator, I urge you to ask the Mozilla-powers-to-be why there is no way to turn off the alarm with, say, a true/false switch in about:config (mind you, there is still old-versions junk in this config list, so it isn't we are talking about amending the constitution). Complains about this fugly alarm can be traced in the web as far back as 2010 at least. Besides, what is the advantage of the alarm for the average user? When FF users are still posing amazingly basic questions in forums of Firefox or Mozilla support, such an alarm ought to be _off_ by default and should be an option of advanced settings menu. This annoyance shows how much the critical focus on keeping a simple GUI uncluttered by trivial or higher-level messages still needs to evolve for Firefox, which I have used it since it was known a Firebird. Guess will have to switch to Chrome now while abroad.

  • I downloaded Firefox but can't open it. I keep getting "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message. If it's a firewall issue, how do I change my firewall to accept Firefox?

I have used Firefox for a number of years but some time ago I got a virus on my computer. I loaded eset nod32, removed the virus and cleaned the old files etc. using ccleaner.com. Now I keep getting the "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message and I haven't been able to use firefox since then. I have uninstalled and re-installed it several times with no avail. I suspect there is something in my windows frrewall stopping it.

If you want to check the Firewall, follow this-
    1. Click Start Menu > Control Panel > Security Center.
    2. Under the "Manage security settings for" click Windows Firewall.
    3. On the Exceptions tab, do one of the following-
    1. If Mozilla Firefox Firefox is there in the list, make sure it's checked.
    2. If Mozilla Firefox is not there, close the Windows Firewall window.

  • Error: Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed.

    Post Author: sagimann
    CA Forum: Deployment
    Hello,
I'm not sure if this is due to bad deployment, but I suspect it is, at least due to bad environment.
    My env is:
    Solaris 10 64 bit
Oracle 10g client installed under /opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1
BOXIR2 + FP2.6 installed under /opt/reporting, running under user 'bouser'. by the way, 'tnsping' works via that user.
    Important bouser env:
    ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1
    TNS_ADMIN=$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$ORACLE_HOME/lib32
I reboot the box, then start BO like so:
    cd /opt/reporting/bobje
    . setup/env.sh
    ./mysqlstartup.sh
    ./startservers
    ./tomcatstartup
Then, I import a BIAR file with some reports, and whenever I try to open any report via infoview, I get a gray error message INSTEAD of the input param form:
    Error:
Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact your system administrator.
This does not occur in our BOXIR2 on Windows, which is why I'm guess it's a deployment/env issue. The main obstacle I have is: how do I diagnose this? there's nothing in the bobje/logging folder, nothing in the /var/adm/message file except for the following line:
May  5 15:23:23 testbox1 boe_pagesd&#91;3865&#93;: &#91;ID 253862 user.error&#93; A failure occurred while the Page Server was processing report 'test report' (id=777) for user Administrator
    pls advise,
    thank you.

The solution is to turn off the printer preference (bottom of Page Setup screen) in the Crystal Report before uploading to the Server. Thanks to: http://pinchii.com/home/2011/12/error-adding-reports-to-crystal-reports-server/
The explanation, from a comment in the above linked blog post:
"To elaborate more on the error, what basically happens is that the Crystal Reports engine tries to get the status of the u201Creport printeru201D aka u201Cdefault printeru201D which was present on the system when the report was created, but the printer does not exist anymore. This causes the Crystal engine to error out. By setting the report to u201CNo Printeru201D, it tells the Crystal Engine not to look for that report printer when opening the report."

  • How can I disable incesant rambling alarm "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" in FF17?

In using FF 17.0.1 in a WinXP/SP3 notebook (Acer) while traveling abroad I get unrelenting rambling and totally inconsequential display alarms "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." The page in question looks perfectly fine and there is NO problem whatsoever in its display. The only problem is this annoyingly useless alarm, which forces the screen display to the tab where the supposed error occurred when one is in a different tab -- in a couple of instances, this absolutely unnecessary, forced jump to a different tab has made me lose data being entered in a different tab.
The notebook is extremely lean in its booting process -- no shared DLLs preloaded; no crapware; limited essential start-ups; trimmed unused or irrelevant services. The alarm occurs:
    (1) with FF and the OS in either normal or safe mode (i.e., both safe mode, both normal mode, or one safe mode and the other normal mode);
    (2) using different Western European ISPs;
    (3) using different DNS servers (either default European ones, or manually selected top-tier U.S. servers);
    (4) and with a number of different web pages (such as many in sites of news organizations) but not in all pages (for instance, none of the different Google server pages).
The alarm does NOT occur browsing the same pages with either Chrome, Opera or IE.
I have not been able to find a clearly marked entry for such an alarm in about:config, and am weary of start changing alarms settings blindly. The text of this alarm is not found in firefox.exe so it must be in one of its associated libraries. Given that this alarm is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS, especially in its manic wanton conditions, can some one give me an informed opinion on how to disable it? TIA

    Hi prasad.alm,
The error is generic and can be caused by various factors. Here are some suggestions for your reference:
Manually run the executable to execute the batch file so that we can check whether the command lines in the batch file are correct or not.
Check there are no duplicate/existing files in the destination folder.
Try to run the package in 32-bit or 64-bit runtime mode.
If the issue occurs when running a job, try to create a CmdExec type job step to call the excutable. If this job also fails, it might be an issue between executable and SQL Server Agent rather than the SSIS package itself.
If the issue persists, enable logging for the package, and check if we can obtain more detailed error message for further analysis.

  • An unexpected error occurred while the job was running. (ID: 104)

I'm getting this error in the event logs when trying to run a consistency check / sync with one of our file servers.
This server was working fine, but w needed to migrate the data to a new partition (GPT) to allow it to expand past the 2TB limit of MBR partitions.  I added a new 3TB disk migrated the data and changed the drive letter to what the old partition was
prior.  Since then we seem to get this error.
I have installed the update roll up on both the server and the agent side.  I have also removed the server from the protection group then re-added it.  I've also removed and reinstalled the agent on the file server.
Any help is appreciated!  Here's the full error from the DPM server:
The replica of E:\ on server is inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check. (ID: 3106)
An unexpected error occurred while the job was running. (ID: 104)

Server Version is Windows 2012 R2 STD.  DPM is 4.2.1235.0 (DPM 2012 R2).  I expanded the production file server.  All that server does is host up file shares.
I suspected the fact that I created a new volume and changed drive letter back to the original to be the source cause of the issue.  What I ended up doing is blowing away the backups from this server on disk and re-adding it to the protection group.
It now runs much longer, but still times out at random with the error mentioned above.
Vijay:  The error was copied from Event Viewer.  Not sure what else you require?  Event ID is 3106 from DPM-EM.
    The DPM logs say:
    Affected area: E:\
    Occurred since: 2015-01-05 2:04:38 AM
Description: The replica of Volume E:\ on servername is inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check. You can recover data from existing recovery
points, but new recovery points cannot be created until the replica is consistent.
For SharePoint farm, recovery points will continue getting created with the databases that are consistent. To backup inconsistent databases, run a consistency check on the farm. (ID 3106)

  • I have unistalled firefoc and downloaded it again. i cannot do any type of search. i usually get the answer The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

whenever im trying to do any type of search on the web i get the answer "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.". I can uninstall mozilla and download it again from the web but can not search.

Such a problem is nothing to do with Mozilla but can have many causes including
    * the site really is faulty - do other sites work ok ?
    * the browser internet settings are wrong, or an ISP problem <br/> - do other browsers (such as Internet Explorer) work ok ?
    * security software/ firewalls are blocking access - review their settings ?
    See
    * [[error loading web sites]] <-- clickable link ---
You may also have other problems.
*Update your Browser. <br> your browser version is showing as Firefox3.6.8 that is out of date and should be updated, preferably to the current version which is Firefox5 but next week will be Firefox 6.
    ** see [[updating firefox]]
    * Update other Software <br/>You should also review the plugins and add-ons they probably are not up to date
** there are options to do this from the firefox menu (or there are plans for this ) on newer versions. Use the link: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
    * Consider [safe mode]
** If you use safe mode do not make changes when you see the first dialogue Window with the list, just click on continue. Safe mode is sometimes useful for troubleshooting
**If you have the ask toolbar installed there is a possibility it could cause problems, or at least possibility unexpected changes in searches.(Note safe mode does not disable plugins, you may need to do that manually). You may then need to refer to the following article if that or some other add-on causes problems.

  • FF20 - The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading

    Hello,
Since FF starts to upgrate itself to FF20 in some of ours PCs, it doesn't load sites and write:
(in some PCs it s possible to load the google page and make a search, but not opening any link)
    "The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."
I erased all the data (all the history) this doesn't solved the problem
I tried ff21 beta, i had the same problem.
And only the downgrade to FF19 solved the problem.
The firewall + apps/url filtering don't show any problems...
    What it could be?
    Thanks

I'm having the same problem but with links on all sites (even emails) and the advertisements.
What do you mean by your apps/url filter??? Is this in the Firewall if so I have already checked there.
I have also went here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/954665 but nothing changed.

  • Execute Process Task - Error :The process exit code was "2" while the expected was "0".

I am designing a utility which will keep two similar databases in sync. In other words, copying the new data from db1 to db2  and updating the old data from db1 to db2.
For this I am making use of the 'Tablediff' utility which when provided with server name, database, table info will generate .sql file which can be used to keep the target table in sync with the source table.
I am using the Execute Process Task  and the process parameters I am providing are:
    WorkingDirectory : C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\COM
    Executable :      C:\SQL_bat_Files\SQL5\TC_CTI\customer.bat
The customer.bat file will have the following code:
    tablediff -sourceserver "LV-SQL5" -sourcedatabase "TC_CTI" -sourcetable "CUSTOMER_1" -destinationserver "LV-SQL2" -destinationdatabase "TC_CTI" -destinationtable "CUSTOMER"  -f "c:\SQL_bat_Files\sql5\TC_CTI\sql_files\customer1"
the .sql file will be generated at:  C:\SQL_bat_Files\sql5\TC_CTI\sql_files\customer1.
    The Problem:
The Execute Process Task is working fine, ie., the tables are being compared correctly and the .SQL file is being generated as desired. But the task as such is reporting faliure with the following error :
[Execute Process Task] Error: In Executing "C:\SQL_bat_Files\SQL5\TC_CTI\package_occurrence.bat" "" at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\COM", The process exit code was "2" while the expected was "0". ]
Some of you may suggest to just set the ForceExecutionResult = Success (infact this is what I am doing now just to get the program working), but, this is not what I desire.
    Can anyone help ?

    Jwelch,
    Thanks for the input,
"Change the SuccessValue property of the Execute Process task from 0 to 2 (which means that you will get a failure if there are no differences, since TableDiff returns 0 in that case)."
-- Not possible b'coz if there is no difference in the tables, which is also a possiblility, the job will fail.
"FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue to FALSE (which means it won't fail regardless of the code returned)."
-- Does this mean the job will never fail? Lets say the target table doesnt exist, then, by setting "FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue to FALSE " will the job fail? I guess my question is, how is what you've suggested different from setting "ForceExecutionResult = Success". Both the cases will show the task status "Success" even if there is an error.
Is there a way to keep the property of job 'Failure' if there is any generic errors like target table not found or say, the path given for .sql file output is not valid etc.
    Thanks again,
    Little_Birdie.
