Some albums dosn't work ( like all the blur deluxe editions CD2). Why??

OK I did a look up on that release which is the one below, and first off what is your listening location?

If your listening location is listed above and you still have greyed out tracks. Might try and log out of the Spotify Desktop app and then do a full system shutdown, start the system back up and then log back into the Spotify desktop app, and see what you get with that release. I have had the desktop app hang up on something where only a full system shutdown cleared whatrever was messing up with it. Migh try it and see if this purges whatever is going on. If this does not work, you might have the Spotify desktop app cache corrupted, and doing an uninstall and a clean reinstall with all associated Spotify folders removed during the unintsall process might have to be done to fix the issue.

Album Art - some albums will not allow art to be added manually - help?

I've searched the archive for an answer to this, but haven't found a solution.
I'm importing many of my CD's into iTunes, some of which I have to add the album art manually. For the most part this works just fine, as I go to "Info," and drag the art into the art window.
But here's the problem - there are some albums that just WILL NOT display the art. I drag the art to the window, and it appears there, but does not "stick." When you play another song, then go back to the previous, the artwork is gone again.
I've tried adding the art in every way I know how: drag to the window that says "drag artwork here" in the main window; going to "get info" then "artwork" and dragging the art into that window; and also clicking the "add" button and navigating to the stored art file...the result is always the same - the art doesn't stick. This is only for some albums; the majority work just fine.
I've cleared the album art cache, with no change, and have also set the ID3 tag to "none" for the problematic albums (based on a suggestion in another posting). Both of these had no effect on the results - the art still won't stick.
I'm at wit's end - anyone have a suggestion??

Manual syncing seems a very inefficient method to use - it my experience its much easier to associate one or more playlists with your iDevice and then automatically sync to that. Doing it this way allows you to set up what you want to sync without the iDevice being connected, and also allows you to manage what gets synced completely, since you can remove albums from the playlist so that they're automatically deleted from your iDevice next time you sync.

Some albums corrupt on iPod

When i transfer music from my computer to the iPod, sometimes, the songs have the last few seconds chopped off, and will go straight to the next song(It happens to whole albums, not single songs. an album will either work fine, or be chopped). At first, i thought it was the format, so i checked that they were all mp3. Some albums began to work properly after this, but others are still like this. When i view the music from my iPod on the computer, instead of cutting the last bit off, it will transist to the the next song. I beleive this isn't a fault with my iPod, but something wrong with the files. Is there a way i can bring them onto my iPod without this happening? It seems to have happened with some albums, but by retransferring them, this stopped it, but nothing happened to others. plz help

Run these files through MP3 Validator too make sure they are healthy files overall.

Some smart album rules not working

At a bit of a loss here - either my upgrade to Mavericks or my upgrade of Aperture to 3.5 has caused my Smart Albums to not work with various EXIF checking rules.
I frequently have rules which check the EXIF tag, Camera Make, and check if it is Canon - this allows me to filter out and focus on my Canon 5D3 photos and not get distracted in relatively pointless editing of iPhone snaps. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Camera Make is Canon returns no matches, Camera Make starts with Canon returns nothing, Camera Make ends with Canon returns nothing.
If I go and look at a photo, I can see the Camera Make exif flag says "Canon" in the field. No spaces at the end or anything silly. It used to work.
Anyone experienced similar? Anyone have solutions?

Hmm, interesting. Given your use of quotes I just tried "Canon" including the double quotes, but that made no difference either.
The EXIF filter is the only rule on the smart album, and while the smart album is set for a single project, there are several hundred photos that should match in it. If I set the smart album to "Library" rather than the project, it still matches none...! Just in case there's some other rule burried away that just isn't displayed, I switched the smart album to "Match Any" rather than "All", and that too returns no photos.

HT204406 Why can i not download some albums from the Cloud but others work

I was trying to download some albums to my IPod when I cam across a few albums within my cloud which say content not available for download?
Can someone please help with this issue. After I put my entire collection in the cloud I have packed all my CD's away and i really do not want to have to go through all the boxes to find the albums that fail.
This download also fails on my PC.

It sounds like you are syncing photos from iPhoto on your computer but not all the photos you set to sync are actually coming over, and they are disorganized. Based on what you are describing, I would recommend deleting the iPod Photo cache which stores picture information that iTunes uses to sync photos from your iPhoto library. When you use iTunes to sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod, iTunes creates a folder called iPod Photo Cache. The iPod Photo Cache stores photos that are optimized for display on your device. The location of this folder depends on the syncing options you select. In iTunes, if you change the selection in the Sync Photos From menu, a new iPod Photo Cache folder will be created (and the previous folder will remain).

Album art work missing on some albums

After upgrading to Itunes 10, when I go to the view where it shows the albums and shows their tracks, for some albums it shows the artwork and for others it doesn't. To be more clear, it is the viewpoint that is the second pick from the left side, I think they call it column browser. It seems like some kind of bug because when I click on the artwork under get info it shows it is still there, but it doesn't show up for some reason when I switch back to the view or even if I try to add it back. But when I go to the view where it shows all the albums by cover only, it shows them all then. Any idea how I can fix this? Because the view point where it shows all the albums and their individual tracks is my favorite view, and this is very unappealing.

Never mind I found the setting which I needed to check that fixes it.

Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

IPhoto crashed when accessing some albums

i photo (9.2.1 under 10.6.8) crashes when trying to access some albums.
I have tried restoring an old version of the library from time macine (when I believe it worked, though I was not using 9.2.1 then) with the same problem.
I have also notice that when editing thumbnails (some of the photos do not correspoind the the thumbnails displayed.
I have read some of the reports on iphoto crashes. I do not seem to have a 3ivx folder.

I also tried iPhoto on another computer (which has the same photos on it) with the same error.
This could be a problem with these particular files then.
Try
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Albums don't work as expected

New to itunes and am importing my CDs...
1) An album like Actually where the artist is always Pet Shop Boys groups as one album as expected.
2) An album like Into The Woods, various artists, does not group at all (all individual songs are not in same album).
3) Some albums with various artists do group together under the same album correctly (not many).
Question 1) Particularly for #2 above, how do you get albums to group together correctly?
Questions 2) What does the 2nd column (after the art work) mean? It has a number in it, and for albums that group correctly, it makes sense, track 1, 2 etc. For for albums that don't droop, I will have a long song that says 15 for that number. There is a number column for track #. Additionally, the 2nd column cannot be hidden.

just some notes in addition to Ralphs answer: Your iPad is very useful to browse and show off your photos, i.e. the Retina iPad. You can sync to the iPad via iTunes or using the Photo Stream or a shared Photo Stream. But if you can browse and store all your photos on the iPad, will depend on the available storage on your iPad. Using iTunes you can sync events, albums, faces stacks, places stacks to your iPad. Not many metadata tags will transfer however.

i forgot to say something, when you implement the WindowListener (i mean write in the class as implements WindowListener like flefever02 said, you need to write the complete codes for all the WindowListeners just like InternalFrameListener....this is what i mean
