Some appointments won't synchronise to outlook calendar
Good afternoon,
I have a user who recently installed the latest version of the blackberry desktop software. He noticed today that some of his appointments are missing on his outlook calendar but are still showing on his blackberry. He has tried to synchronise the blackberry and PC but the appointments do not reappear.
He said he always uses outlook to create the appointments and very rarely creates appointments on the blackberry.
The old software (as far as I'm aware) was working fine. He has only experienced this problem since upgrading to the newer version last week.
I took a look at the problem earlier today and I checked the appointments on the blackberry. The one's that ARE showing in outlook (and will synchronise) are using a "default account". When you open the appointment in the blackberry calendar it says "default" on a drop down list. You cannot change this to another account.
If I look at an appointment that IS NOT synchronising, it shows an email address as the account (which is his work email address and the one he uses with outlook/exchange). I can drop the box down but it only shows his work email address and his personal email address. I cannot select "default".
So I think the problem lies with the account that is set on the appointments, but I cannot figure out how to resolve the issue so that ALL the appointments appear in outlook as expected.
How can I get all appointments to synchronise with outlook?
For info:
- It is a blackberry torch 9800
-The blackberry desktop software is the latest version and was downloaded/installed last week
- I do not know what the previous version was, I'm afraid, as this is the first time I've dealt with the blackberry software.
- We are running outlook 2007 and exchange 2003
- The PC is running XP professional 32bit

Have a look at this article regarding multiple Calendar sync KB19240. Be sure to back up the device before merging Calendars.
You can changed the default Calendar to be used for synchronization by going to Options>Device>Advanced System Settings>Default Services.

Sometime during the past months my calendar on my iphone 4s is not synchronizing with my Outlook Calendar on my laptop. It appears that when I set up an appointment on my laptop the info is transmitted to the phone but the reverse is not occurring.
I did put it in DFU mode but its still not working, although everytime it shows your iphone needs to be restored. Kindly help.

Blackberry Pink Pearl 8130 Synchronizing Trouble with Outlook Calendar
Recently I have attempted to synchoronize my phone and calendar at work (don't have it set up at home). During the synchronizing progress, as it is reading Outlook Calendar, I receive an error message "Operation Terminated Unexpectedly" when it reaches a certain record number. I have restarted my computer, attempted through the desktop manager to configure the synchronization but also get an error message there. Any suggestions?

E72- Synchronizing failure with Outlook Calendar

HT1386 My iPhone 4 won't sync with my Outlook Calendar.
I want to sync my iPhone with the Outlook calendar on my PC. I use XP. I sync with a cable to my USB port. Everything else syncs okay, but my iPhone Calendar is not syncing with my MS Outlook calendar. My old entries remain on my iPhone, but nothing I've entered recently syncs to my iPhone calendar. Or vice versa. I've checked my iPhone Calendars > Edit, all of the Calendars are checked. In iPhone settings, I've looked in Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and there is no reference to Outlook. Shared Calendar Alerts is On. Sync is "All Events." The Default calendar is Public Calendar.
The Default mail is Outlook Express. It is not syncing mail with my Outlook Express email account either, but that's a problem for another day.This is how I got it fixed.
First, I reinstalled iTunes
I clicked on the tab with my phone
I clicked music
Uncheck the box where it says 'Sync Music'
Hit apply
Recheck the box and hit apply (or sync, whichever is showing at that point)
Hopefully this fixes any problems that anyone else is having. -
8310 has stopped synchronising my outlook calendar
I have outlook 2007 on my pc (windows XP) and a curve 8310. It has been synching perfectly well until yesterday when it decided that it would take a holiday! The error message is 'The operation terminated unexpectedly'. It synchs my address book from the pc perfectly well and reads 393 records from outlook calendar but then gets to record 112 and stops. The error message comes up and nothing has been transferred. Help.

My iPod Calendar won't sync with my Outlook Calendar and vice versa. Wherever I input the information is where it stays. My contacts and notes sync just fine. Please help. Very frustrated. It used to work just fine. I just upgraded to iTunes 10.2 version.
I have the same problem since I updated to iTunes 10.2 Sue (I think). For me this was somewhere in January.
I wasn't sure iTunes was the issue, until I read your post. I tested syncing a note, and that works fine.
My 2nd generation Ipod Touch runs on IOS 4.2.1. It won't upgrade to 4.3.
Possibly the synchonisation between iTunes 10.2 and IOS 4.2.1 doesn't work correctly.
Has somebody else solved this isue? I use both calendars (on iPod Touch and on PC) for work and private matters.
Otherwise I have to uninstall iTunes 10.2 and downgrade to 10.2. -
Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -
I have a issue with my mac book pro. For some reason it won't stay powered on. I can't get past the apple loading logo. The battery is fully charged so it is not the problem. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be and how can i get it resolved?

perfect. ok do the following:
settings > mail, contacts, calendars > go into the exchange account. You should have an email in the account field...[email protected] or [email protected], etc.... I am assuming you don't remember the password to this exchange account so once you know the email, you can go to email providers site and click on forgot password and you will go through the steps to get a new password. Once you do this, you will need to go back into your "exchange account " and the field that has the exchange email > touch the > to open settings. Change the password to your new password you got from above. Once you do this, you can add the exchange account to your ipad and all of your contacts will sync to both devices.

My iTouch will not restore becuase for some reason it won't reconize it. I merely tried to update it with the newest software and every thing went to sh--. Now it is just stuck on the screen showing the apple sign. Can anyone help me.

Some movies/categories won't connect to the itunes store.
Some movies/categories won't connect to the itunes store. When we try to access kids/family genre it says it can't connect. But we can see some kids/family movies from top movies, but others not? For instance when I search on a movie it finds the movie, but when I try to access it, it doesn't work. We can see the same movie and access it ok on our mac mini and the ipad, what is wrong? What I would recommend in this situation would be first restarting the Apple TV by following the instructions in the attached article. If the issue continues, I suggest reading and working through the Resolve network or streaming issues section of the article.

Some PSD files won't display in Bridge
Why is it that some PSD files won't display a visible thumbnail in Bridge?
DonI tried Curt Young's suggestion in the Bridge forum:
When in the folder with the problem click on Tools/cache/purge cache for folder xxx. The thumbnails will be then rebuild and see if that solves the problem. Let all the thumbs rebuild completely (spinning arrow on bottom left corner will stop) before carrying out any other operation. You may have a few corrupted files in the cache.
