Some Apps don´t appear in my apple tv

Have two apple tvs in my home, one displays VEVO, HBO GO and other apps, but the second one, which I recently installed and updated, doesn´t have those apps. Why is this? How can I solve it?

Check Settings>General>Restrictions to see if any are hidden.
Check country and location are set correctly.

Some apps don't appear in Notifications Settings

I upgraded to iOS 5 on Thursday with my iPhone 4 and notifications worked fine. I was able to go in and individually set notification settings for almost all of my apps. Last night I bought the iPhone 4s and installed all of my media, contacts, and apps and now I can only change notifications settings for a handful of apps. Does anyone know how to fix?

After upgrade to os 4 some apps don't work including Apple Store

Upgrade went ok, but took long time. Some apps don't work correctly or crash. e.g. Apple Store app just recycles back to main screen. Starbucks app works for a few seconds then crashes.

I had same problems.
I decided to "downgrade" back to OS3. You can too!

What exact behaviors are you seeing when you attempt to open the apps? Do they bounce in the Dock at all, or only bounce once, or do you see any errors or warnings pop up?

I am using Apple Iphone 4s from last 2 months. i purchased some apps from store but each time apple charge me $1 extra above the original price of software.

New iPod Touch with the latest SW and latest itunes on my iBook G4 and I have the same problem, there is no "file sharing" under Apps for my iPod device. No one has replied to the original post but has the original poster found a separate solution outside of this discussion?

Description of the problem with my iPhone 4 after an upgrade from iOS 5.1 to 6.1.1:
Some Apps try to start but stopped immidiatly.
The issue for my case:
Try to find your App trough the App Store on your iPhone.
The status of this App should be open. (but when you try to open it, it won't !!!)
Use the main button to go back to your App and delete it.
Go back to Apps Store and reinstall your App.
Check the progress of the installation.
When the install is done open your App again and it should be working again.

Try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

Updates to some APPs do not appear in my iTunes

In my iphone 4 iOS 7.0.4 tells me that there are updates for some APPs, but there is nothing in iTunes. For example on my iPhone I have a notice that there are 3 application upgrade. When I open iTunes on my iMac, nothing appears when I select the button "Check for Updates" I get a warning that says "There are no updates available for any of the apps in you iTunes library."

YES!!!! I found a solution that worked for me
On my iMac I have 566 APPs with one Apple ID and 9 of these APPs are from another Apple ID I have to. I started to check each APP information, to detect which once of the APPs was purchased from each ID. While revising the APPs I started to download directly to my iPhone 4 iOS 7.0.4 (not using iTunes) once APP which was removed a few weeks ago. After downloading the APP on my iPhone, opened it and use for a few minutes.
After locating the APPs that had bought using another Apple ID, I deleted 3 which no longer wanted, but the other 6 did not know to do that if I use, well my kids (they are games).
Out of curiosity I decided to press the button "UPDATES" in my iTunes and SURPRISE!!! appeared 13 APPs that need to be updated.
I already did a sync between my iPhone and iTunes and everything is working perfectly, as several days hago.
My theory is: Some of the APPs that I deleted, needed to be updated and when I tried to check for updates, there was some kind of conflict that made the iTunes says "There are no updates available for any of the apps in your iTunes library", then deleting the APP, the problem was solved.

IPad 3 iOS 8.0.2 some apps don't work, everything slow

IiPad touch updated to iOS 8.0.2. worse than any of the ios 7 updates. It seems that lately ever update makes things worse. My pad has never been so slow. I now have some apps that don't work as they should. iPad and AT&T have never been happy with each other but now freezes and just taking so long to access some websites and why go from one move to two to close a website. Makes no sense to me. Maybe I am just not used to it yet, but it takes about twice as long to close a web page. My pad is 32 gig and I have 14.9 free. As far as a fix, I am about ready to throw this pad in the lake and go back to Microsof, something I never thought I would say. I have an iMac and just retired my notebook. I am trying a dell with windows 8 As a replacemen. School is still out on that platform but it is better than this ipad. IF some one has similar problems and fixed, please let me know.

Since the vast majority of iPad mini users are not having WiFi problems then, if you are having consistent WiFi problems on all networks, you very likely have a hardware problem with your iPad mini. This probably cannot be fixed by any iOS software update. The iOS 6.0.2 software fix likely was for a bug that only showed up with certain access points or network configurations. The only way to get your problem fixed is to get your iPad mini replaced by Apple. The fastest way to do this is via the Apple store but you can also arrange for replacement if you contact Apple support.

Apps don't appear on iphone 4

I have an iphone 4. I have downloaded from the iphone an app. It appears to be downloading properly, until the
progress bar is complete. Then, the app disappears!
If I sync with my MacBook the app transfers to itunes - I can see it on iTunes! I can move it to different screens
in iTunes, it looks great. When I sync to my iphone, it is just not there. There is no error message.
If I search for it it is not found.
Also, if I put the app on screen 1 on my iTunes, and there are no other screens, and then sync, it will create
screen 2 within iTunes, move the app to screen 2 in iTunes, and then sync. When I look at the iphone,
there is no screen 2, and the app is not present.
I have tried resetting, rebooting, synching, deleting and re-downloading, and nothing helps.
The specific apps are iCSC (Clear Sky Chart) and RedBox.
I haven't seen this anywhere else!
Any ideas?

How can u downgrade. Apple doesn't allow that. Unless your iPhone 5 is jail broken. iOS 7 isn't even out yet. There Is no way u can get iOS 7 unless it was beta. And if so beta is having some issues.

Some notifications don't appear in Notification Center

I've been wondering about this for some time. I pressed the home button on my iPhone to wake it up and saw a quick glimpse of a number of notifications, including some from Twitter, Facebook, etc. This got my curiosity up. However, Touch ID kicked in and logged me into the phone.
I wanted to see what those notifications were, so I turned the phone off and then on again, but, because they had displayed already, the notifications did not display again.
So I dragged down to Notification Center to see what I had missed, and on the Today tab all it gives is weather, a calendar event, stocks and that there are three events scheduled for tomorrow. On the Notifications tab it just says what apps were updated yesterday.
Okay, maybe some apps are blocked from Notification Center, so I went to Settings > Notifications and there are only 3 apps under Do Not Include and this does not include Twitter, Facebook, etc.
I'm wondering why certain notifications appear on the lock screen but not in Notification Center, which seems to defeat the purpose of the whole thing.

Timothy Arends1, if you want notifications to be displayed in the notification center, just set the one you want to see in the "INCLUDE" section.
Settings > Notifications > Edit > Touch the bars on the right of the app you want to be notified and drag into the INCLUDE section.

Some options don't appear in MAX

I have an Agilent 86142A OSA connected via GPIB-USB-HS cable to my PC. MAX recognizes it in the tree, but a lot of options (like self-test, calibrate) don't appear. I'm new in MAX, so I'm not sure whether this is acceptable or not. Have I made some error in installing the device, or do some options simply not show up for particular devices? I've attached an image of MAX in this situation.
If indeed the device is installed fine, how does one perform a test to see if the connection is good if the Self-Test icons don't appear?
Please let me know if it seems the device has been detected properly and all is well.

Everything looks find. You are not supposed to have options for self-test or calibrate. Those would only be for NI's DAQ cards.

Some images don't appear in iPhone, but do on desktop.

Can someone download this PDF and let me know why the jpg images appear fine when viewing with desktop browser, but some images in the same document don't appear when viewing in Safari on the iPhone? Vector artwork and text show fine. Shows white space where JPGs should be.

I just heard about this day before yesterday at the InDesign Print and ePublishing Conference in Washington, DC. When using display on an iOS device JPEG 2000 is not supported. There are two flavors of JPEG: JPEG & JPEG 2000.

If I go to page 1 and 4 in your PDF and use Output Preview in Acrobat Pro (in Acro 9 > Advanced Print Production > Output Preview). Click on the Object Inspector tab and click on the image. It uses a JPEG 2000 filter.
Since I don't know how the image was created and saved, I'll leave it to you to resave it as normal JPEG.

If you've never used them before (they are new) then they are not formatted for Macs.
Drive Partition and Format
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
When you want to remove an external device you must Eject it:
First, select the Desktop icon of the external disk. CTRL- or RIGHT-click and select Eject from the context menu.

Some Apps don't start up anymore after upgrading to BB 10.2.1

I have upgraded to BB 10.2.1 today and am pleased to see new features and enhancements.
I also have to report a few issues though:
- startup takes much longer now
- several non native apps don't start up anymore. I even reinstalled some, but that didn't help. Any thoughts?
