Anyone else use td ameritrade or thinkorswim and now that they upgraded to ios 5.1 those apps donw work?

yeah. I noticed the same thing. now the splash screen comes on without the flashing green squares and just hangs. i tried unintalling and then reinstalling and still no go. kind of annoying but they will probably come out with an update pretty soon

you may need to update the particular apps that are causing you crashes. Go to the app store and tap "updates".
You can also do this via itunes, click on "apps" on the left, then updates on the top and update all. then re-sync your phone.

Default Mail app not working with yahoo mail. Won't update.

Default Maill app not working with Yahoo Mail.
It stopped working the other day. I tried everything but it wouldn't update new mail. The yahoo account itself is fine because I can see new mail on Yahoo or a yahoo app.
I tried deleting the account and putting it back on, but now it has 0 mail in any part of it. Nothing has synced.
What do I do?

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

On the iPhone, tap Settings.
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap your Yahoo account, then delete it.
Tap Add Account.

Complete the Name, Address (email address), Password and Description fields.
Click Next.
Ensure IMAP is selected.
Enter the following incoming mail server information:
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - Requires SSL
Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 993
Requires SSL: Yes
Hostname is mail.yahoo.com.
Username is your full email address
Password is the same password used to access webmail.
Enter the following outgoing mail server information:
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires SSL
Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 465 or 587
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires authentication: Yes
Username is your full email address
Password is the same password used to access webmail. It may have been entered for you.
Tap Next.
The iPhone will establish an SSL connection to your IMAP and SMTP servers.

PDF Portfolio does not work with iOS Reader 11.3.2 on iOS 7.1.2

Well this is upsetting. I created a PDF form with several pages of the same form (it's a travel log).
My hoping to use Adobe Reader to complete the form and save back as a week at a time won't work.
I created the form using Acrobat Pro 9 from CS5.
Does anyone know if a PDF form in a Portfolio should work with Adobe Reader on the iPad2/
Also, what can I use that works with forms as a portfolio?

Please locate the model number of the AirPort Express and post back that information.
The model number is located on the side of the AirPort Express. It begins with an "A" followed by four numbers.
We are not sure what you mean by "does not work". Does this mean that the AirPort Express worked at one time and has just recently stopped working?
Have you installed a newer operating system on your iOS device recently?
Or, is this a new AirPort Express that you are trying to configure for the first time?
If yes, what service will the AirPort Express perform on your network?

Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. Email settings DO NOT WORK WITH iOS Devices

Vz keeps sending these "important" instructions for email port settings, BUT they do not work with iOS devices--iPhones and iPads. Last go around with this I spent over 16 hours trying to reconcile until an Apple Expert discovered "special" instructions for iOS device settings. Get with the program, Verizon.

both services send a silent SMS (one that is not listed anywhere on your device) containing a configuration request to an Apple server. This server then responds with the needed configuration details. It can take some (from a few minutes to several hours) time for this answer to come. Also if for whatever reason text send/receive is not working properly, iOS can get stuck on the "waiting for activation" message.

I purchased the Top Gun app before i updated to ios 4.0 and it was working just fine. Now after installing ios 4.0 it won't load up any levels and just automatically goes straight back to the home screen. After reading many reviews on the app (Annoyingly I read them after buying it) it seems that Paramount (Developers) have not added an update yet, so that it would be possible to play this game on ios 4.0 firmware. How do you get Apple or Paramount to notice this problem? I've reported it to Paramount and I never get any replies, and the same has happened to a lot of other customers. How can they not take any notice of us? We have all paid £1.19 for something that we can't even use. Surely Apple could have a word with the developers...I just want this to be sorted out for me and everyone else who have bought this app and other apps that may not work on ios 4.0. This is an issue that needs addressing!

Developers are probably working at the moment trying to update and optimize all their apps for iOS4, whilst producing new apps. It is a tough job for them, and they will update in time. I'm sure they have taken notice of all the reviews calling for an update and are working as hard as they can.

Sd photo import camera kit not working with iOS 8

I bought an Apple brand sd card photo import camera kit for the iPhone 5 (lightning cable) a couple years ago. It no longer works with iOS 8.x. I now have an iPhone 6 Plus and it still does not work. I get the error "This accessory is not supported by this iPhone." Since it is Apple brand it should work.
I have googled and searched the forums and found no leads on this. I was hoping with the latest 8.3 release it would be addressed. Does anyone know how to get this to work or is it an apple bug?

It has to have a DCIM folder, but the directory after the DCIM folder, and the files themselves, have to follow DCF rules (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Designrule_for_Camera_Filesystem)..if it's the structure created by the camera it should be fine but if you change the folder to something other than DSC_xxxx and you change the image filename to something other than ABCD1234.whatever then it won't show up.
You can double check if the kit is being recognized at all in Settings -> About, then scroll to the bottom, it should say like Apple Card reader or something I forget. If it isn't, I would just reboot

Adobe cs6 apps not working with OS X Yosemite

Illustrator and After Effects are not working with OS 10.10.1 After Effects opens into and is stuck in Render Queue. Illustrator says it need a previous version of java. Im a little nervous about going with a older version of java on my new machine
Ps, Pr and Au seem to be working ok so far.

I am having the exact same problem with After Effects (13.1.1.3) OSX 10.10.1. Renders lockup in the render queue hanging on frame 2.

If your going to push updates to customers all the time, your software has gotta be solid.
I now have a client project that I can't render and I can't open in previous versions of AE either.
