Some Buttons in a Custom Page have different shape

Hi,
I have a weird issue with the submit button shape.
In our test1 instance, these buttons are displayed uniformly i.e. the usual submitButton shape sort of oval-like.
But when i migrated it to test2 instance, some buttons are shaped as they should be but some buttons are rectangular in shape. This is the very first time I saw such rectangular buttons.
Has anybody experienced that?

Just tell your DBA to check X-Display server is ON on your instance or not.
Try clearing cache from functional administrator responsibility or even bouncing the server.

Shared Members in Custom can have different aggregation weight?

Hi guys,
I have created a Flow dimension to track the cash flow movements. Under TotalFlows, I have the different movements (OpBalance, CloBalance, Variation, Gain, Loss), all with aggregation weight of 1. But I have to create an additional structure (sibling of TotalFlows), called TotalFlows2, with shared members (OpBalance, CloBalance...) but with aggregation weight of zero.
Can I used the Shared Member with different aggregation weight? Or should I rename them (for ex., TF2_OpBalance)?
Please, advise.

Absolutely use the shared member and set the aggregation weight to zero in your duplicate structure, this is the key benefit to custom dimensions.

Help - Pages have different lengths in Safari (and Chrome) vs Firefox

I have a website created with iWeb '09 that contains some rather long HTML tables that I inserted using HTML snippets. These tables display properly in Safari v 5.0.2 and Chrome (6.0.472.59), but get cut off at the bottom when I use Firefox 3.6.9.
Alternatively, if I force the web page to be long enough to satisfy Firefox, then I have too much dead (i.e., empty) space with Safari and Chrome. See this page: http://coridium.astrapoint.net/c/Coridium-_RiskChecklist.html

I had the same problem... I am using phpbb3 table/message-forums on my site, and used an iframe that I found on a youtube instructional video, and it worked fine on safari and chrome, but the forum/table was only like 3 inches long on firefox.
I tried the code in the response above in place of my original iframe code:

and I entered the same height/width dimensions from my original iframe and ended up with an even smaller table. So I went back to my original iframe code and made the height 1500px instead of 100% which is below:

Templates: created pages have different html

I'm using Dreamweaver MX04 (7). I have created a template
from an HTML page. When I go to apply that template to a new HTML
page, the resulting templated page has goofs in the HTML that were
not existing in the template's html. For example, sections of code
are sometimes duplicated or sometimes code is jumbled together. I
have recreated the template twice trying to solve the problem, but
each time I get either a code duplication or code jumble, and not
always in the same place.
I thought it might have been my comments added into the HTML,
so I took them out, but I still get the same results.
I can email the template to anyone who thinks they can
help.

Show me the template, and the resulting child page, when this
happens,
please.

Why can't I get some buttons to work on websites? Need to enable something?

Recently, I am not able to use certain portions of 3 websites that I used to be able to use. I can get to the pages, and some buttons/links work within pages, but when I try to click on some buttons on some pages, nothing happens at all. The computer is not frozen, I can do other things on the page. Example #1 - I was trying to access my photo albums at Snapfish.com but I cannot access my albums, or select albums to which I will download photos. #2. I was trying to create a gmail e-mail address. When I tried I had a message about enabling something. Didn't know what it meant or how to do that. Any ideas on what to adjust on my computer so that I can do what I used to be able to do?

Which browser are you using? Do you have Enable Java checked in it's preferences? When you get a message it's a good idea to write down exactly what it says rather than dismiss it and wonder later what it said about something.

How to add custom link or button to task details page to open a different t

Dear All
In HumanTasks Workflow, On task details page, I want to add a custom link or button. Clicking on this link or button, should load a different task details page.
The exact business usecase is like this:
1. We have some human tasks with very detailed payload like about 100 attributes. When the task is submitted for Approval, we send notification emails. These emails shows the Task Details with all these 100 attributes along with standard Approve, Reject buttons etc. NOW in addition to this, we want to add extra custom button/link like Custom View. When we click on this buton or link, it should replace the task details page with the Custom task details page contents. The reason is most of the managers/approvers access their emails on smart phones like iphones. So in these phones, seeing full task details (100 attributes) is very tedious. So we want to provide a simplified view of same task with very minimum attributes like about 10 with Approve, Reject buttons. Now this compact view details will have a button called Detailed View on click on which it loads details page.
So we want to have 2 pages for a task:
taskDetails1.jspx -> Has all 100 attributes with a custom button/link called "Compact View". Click on Compact View switch to below page.
taskCompact1.jspx -> Has only 10 attributes with a custom button/link called "Detailed View". Click on Detailed View switch to above page.
1. I tried implementing this using the VacationRequest sample where the payload is like creator, startdate, enddate, reason. I already have taskDetails1.jspx page, which shows this information in the email body.
2. I want to add another button to taskDetails1.jspx so that when I click on it, I want to load a different page like taskCompact.jspx which has only say creator, reason.
I already added a link and gave the url with parameters like taskId, taskContext etc which I got from bindings, but nothing is displayed when I click on custom button. The taskId, context values are comming correctly in the url.
So bottom line, what is the URL that I can provide in the task details page, to load a different task details page contents. I want to pass other taskdetails jsp details.
Please let me know, if there is any other approach to implement this usecase.

Hi,
I am not sure if you can add your own custom buttons to the application tool bar because your table control is in a sub screen area in a standard screen so the menu area would be controlled by the standard screen and not the subscreen , but along side the table control you can give buttons for scrolling and handle the same in the subscreen if you check the FM EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_002 it has a variable IM_UCOMM which would have the ucomm set in the subscreen so here you can handle your user command to scroll on the table control.

Custom Page inline LOV font, buttons not rendering correctly.

i have created a inline LOV in my custom page and the LOV functions correctly BUT the font and the buttons are all messed up (ie displays in a wierd tiny font and the text for the 'cancel' and 'select' buttons in the LOV page appear like text with a small square next to them, though they do the right functions (ie cancel does the cancel etc).....
also, in the main page i display results in a simple table and programatically control some rows to be readonly and some enterable. Again am having presentation issue - ie the readonly rows appear much thinner than the ones where input allowed. this makes the data presentation look very wierd. i tried using CSS class, different itemstyles etc but just cant seem to get a uniform look.
has anyone faced this before ? would really appreciate some inputs.

I think the issue might be due to browser you are using. Are you using chrome/mozilla ?
Also try accessing the same page from internet explorer.

Unfortunately, only adobe can help you with that, as most people here are just posters such as your self and don't work for adobe.

I am used to default leading being 120% of point size (or some consistent rule), but it seems this is not so any more. The same text in 10pt Times New Roman, which I would expect to line up with 10pt Palatino, for example, doesn't. I've tried using the inspector, at least to get both faces to behave the same for given settings, but I haven't been able to. How much control does Pages allow for this type of settings, and are there any hidden secrets as to how to do so? Many thanks

If you set the line spacing in the inspector to Exactly and 12 points for 10 point type, it will work the way you want.

I have tried to remove sweetpacks per your intructions but there is no "remove" button on the extensions page for sweetpacks.

I tried the suggestions posted and nothing works. I have tried going to the mozilla extensions page but there is no "remove" button for sweetpacks.
I have also tried "about:config" but when I make the change to have a different homepage (google), the change is not saved, it goes back to sweetpacks.
Again, nothing seems to work even though i removed all the sweetpacks stuff via control panel/remove programs - sweetpacks keeps coming up as my homepage.

First, from what I am aware of, Sweetpacks is a hijacker so it won't be in your Add-ons or about:config. You need to go to your Control Panel (''Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a program)''. If this doesn't work, then you should reset Firefox to factory settings. I have a special requirement,I don't know is it possible to do it by sap standard function, for example one material, material No:A, basic unit:pc,sale unit:box, for customer 01, 10 pc = 1 box, for customer 02, 5 pc = 1 box. I can maintain a convert factor in the material master data, but in the sales order I have to modify the convert factor for different customer. we have so many order, is it impossible to maintain different convert factor for different customer in some master data.

To enable the form to be signed in Reader you will need to open the form in Acrobat; goto Advanced>Enable Usage Rights and then save this copy of the form for sending out to the users.
The user should then be able to edit and digitally sign the form. They can then email the signed/saved pdf as a browsed for attachment or via the email icon in the toolbar. Note - if you have created an email submit button on the form, then unless they have Acrobat they could only return an xml file.
The other way to do this however is to create a dataset by 'distributing' the form. This time the Email Return button will send back a full version of the form. During the distribution setup you will have the option to email the form directly or to save it and send it later,so you can send to users as and when or even post it to a website or intranet.
When you receive and open the returned form it will ask whether you want to add it to the predetermined dataset (or if you want to categorise the returns into geographical areas for example, you could create new additional datasets at this point). If the form is data heavy however, the dataset will become very large and unwieldy pretty quickly, but you can export the data from it (including signatures) in xml format and import this into an Excel spreadsheet.
To simplify the Excel xml import process I'd recommend you carefully structure your form in the hierarchy (LiveCycle) into the order you would want the data items to appear in your spreadsheet and switch off those data items that you will not need by setting the default binding for the irrelevant fields to "None".

WinXP versions of Firefox don't have the Firefox button like with Windows Vista and WIn7, because with XP the default is to show the Menu Bar. The Firefox button appears when the Menu Bar is not being shown.
Right-click a blank spot on the Menu Bar ''(to the right of Help)'', and de-select Menu Bar by clicking on that contextual menu item.
