how to rotate text of header?
how to fix width of the first column?
how to change OLAPDimension's name dynamically (run time)?
i tried many things but still not come through.
any suggetions/ideas?

dynamically loaded OLAPDatagrid is just visually refreshed, but when i performed some itemClick event, performed operation on initially loaded data column & rows.
its really very strange. any idea?

  • Some concerns regarding upgarde

    Hi,
We are upgrading our portal from SP11 to SP16. We have some concerns regarding certain customized PAR files.
e.g. During our SP11 implementation, we had copied and renamed the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par to a custom one and assigned this for our logon.
Have there been any major fixes in this PAR for which we need do the same customization for the PAR of SP16, or we can continue using the same SP11 PAR? Same goes for the Masthead and other personalization PARs.
Hope SAP has kept the main components separate from the customizable components, so as to leave only the JSPs to be customized so that the upgrade does not need re-implementation and also gives us the advantages of the upgrade.
    Regards,
    Nirav Mehta

    Hi,
There is really no way to tell, other than unpack the par files (and possibly decompile the classes) and do a file compare (winmerge http://winmerge.sourceforge.net/ is good for this).
The recommended approach is to reapply the change using the code of SP16 and througoughly test it.

  • Im interested in a mac, but I have some concerns regarding windows and Boot Camp.

Having both Mac OS and Windows on 1 computer would be a dream for ne, however , I have some Feature concerns that im hoping someone may be able to adress.
1: Im an avid PC gamer, and use Steam to play all my games. Only a few games I own are Mac Compatible, And I was wondering, if I used Windows 7 Via Boot Camp, would I be able to play those games?
2: Would I be able to freely switch between Windows and OS without and consequences?
3: What Mac should I get to use Windows 7 (and aformentioned Gaming) Effectivly?
Thank you in advance if you answer!

    1. Yes, Bootcamp gives you a 100% functional Windows machine.
    2. Yes, you only need to reboot the machine each time to switch between OS X and Windows 7.
    3. All current Macs will run Windows 7 as good or better than any PC/ Laptop.
For gaming, the Macbooks have mediocre video cards. The 13 inch has the Intel 3000 which is really not that good The 15 and 17 inches have the Radeon 6750M and 6770M. Those are much better for gaming (especially the 6770M. It's not a gaming card. Mac desktops have much better cards for gaming. The iMac has the 6970M. The Mac Pro would be the best gaming rig with a 5770, which isn't a mobile one (no 'M') and is the best performing card out of all of these. The Mac mini has the worst of all machines.
But since the Mac Pro is the most expensive, you're best bet is to get the 15' macbook pro for gaming. The 6770M is better too if you can afford it. The iMac would be the next step up, again if you can afford it.
Also, what bootcamp does is make a partition of your harddrive. In other words it splits your hard disk into 2 parts. Like if you had a 500gb hard drive, it would make 2 250gb hard drives- one with Windows files and one with Mac files. You can pick how much space you want to make the Windows partition.

  • Concerns regarding the softwere of the camera.

Dear apple, my name is D@%8eL. I wanted apple to know that this technology is amazing and is enabling me to express myself in ways before unimaginable. The concern regarding this letter is not merely to show appreciation but to ask you guys at Apple to help me further explore myself. The camera that is on iPod is a great accessory and I love how I can take pictures while listening to music.( that includes both the front camera and the back camera) the only serous flaw ( And I mean that lightly is) is that I cannot take a video of myself while listing to music. I'm jamming hard and dancing smiling, whilein and just having fun listening to the iPod. Can you guys at apple please try to invent some new technology that enables me to video record myself while I'm jammin out!!!!!! Please please please. I understand one concern might be " so when the users are videoing should the music and as well as the environmental sounds be recorded, or should just the sound environmental sound be recorded." my answer to you is simple. You guys are apple!!!! Figure it out so that im at liberty to choose!!!!! Please email me with any thought feelings or concerned. Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Sincerely D.... K.....

You already have the feedback link. Other than that, you could, I supposed, write to them. The address should be found by using the Contact Us link that you'll find at the bottom right of every page. However, I wouldn't expect that you'd get any answer other than a form letter/email, if that.

  • Some concern about Live cache Homogeneous System copy

    Hi All,
I need to do the Homogeneous system copy SCM 5.0 / Live cache 7.6.00 on AIX. Following are the Source and target System SID for Live cache. Moreover I had check the respective SAP note 457425 and 877203 but still having some concern.
    Source System
    Live cache SID           =      SCD
Live cache user ID      =      SAPSCD
Live Database instant software owner = scdadm
Live cache Data Size      =  8 GB ( 4 Data volume / 2 GB each / auto extend off)
    Target System
    Live cache SID           =      SCT
Live cache user ID      =      SAPSCT
Live Database instant software owner = sctadm
Live cache Data Size      =  4 GB ( 2 Data volume / 2 GB each / auto extend off)
For same I having following concern.
    1.     Since there is difference between source system and target system size / data volume number what action I need to take on target system. Do I need to add two more data volume into the target system?
    2.     After complication of database restore on target the system do I need to change the Live cache user ID (i.e. SAPSCD to SAPSCT)?
    or
It is just fine to change the log on data in “Integration” tab in LC10.
Please let me know some more information on same.
    Thanks,
    Harshal

    Hello Harshal,
"1. Since there is difference between source system and target system size / data volume number what action I need to take on target system. Do I need to add two more data volume into the target system?"
Please pay attention to the SAP note :: 457425    Homogenous liveCache copy using backup/restore
Please update the thread withy additional information ::
What is the version of the source liveCache? What is the version of the target liveCache?
How much data do you have in the source liveCache?
And you need to have the size data area of the target liveCache to be able to restore the databackup created in the source liveCache.
So by the size of the data volumes in the source liveCache, it's not clear how much data you have.
"2. After complication of database restore on target the system do I need to change the Live cache user ID (i.e. SAPSCD to SAPSCT)?"
Please review the SAP note 877203.
You could rename the user SAPSCD to SAPSCT using the SAP note 877203 steps
    OR
You could have the user SAPSCD in the target liveCache as Standard liveCache user &
After you run the homogenous liveCache copy using backup/restore procedure you need
to change the LCA/LDA/LEA connection with user SAPSCD on target system and
set the user SAPSCD to the user containers  ( please see the SAP note 616555 for more details )
Before to restart the liveCache in LC10.
PS: Please pay attention about the value of the liveCache parameter _UNICODE.
What are the values of this parameter in the source & target liveCache?
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

  • I have some questions regarding setting up a software RAID 0 on a Mac Pro

I have some questions regarding setting up a software RAID 0 on a Mac pro (early 2009).
These questions might seem stupid to many of you, but, as my last, in fact my one and only, computer before the Mac Pro was a IICX/4/80 running System 7.5, I am a complete novice regarding this particular matter.
A few days ago I installed a WD3000HLFS VelociRaptor 300GB in bay 1, and moved the original 640GB HD to bay 2. I now have 2 bootable internal drives, and currently I am using the VR300 as my startup disk. Instead of cloning from the original drive, I have reinstalled the Mac OS, and all my applications & software onto the VR300. Everything is backed up onto a WD SE II 2TB external drive, using Time Machine. The original 640GB has an eDrive partition, which was created some time ago using TechTool Pro 5.
The system will be used primarily for photo editing, digital imaging, and to produce colour prints up to A2 size. Some of the image files, from scanned imports of film negatives & transparencies, will be 40MB or larger. Next year I hope to buy a high resolution full frame digital SLR, which will also generate large files.
Currently I am using Apple's bundled iPhoto, Aperture 2, Photoshop Elements 8, Silverfast Ai, ColorMunki Photo, EZcolor and other applications/software. I will also be using Photoshop CS5, when it becomes available, and I will probably change over to Lightroom 3, which is currently in Beta, because I have had problems with Aperture, which, until recent upgrades (HD, RAM & graphics card) to my system, would not even load images for print. All I had was a blank preview page, and a constant, frozen "loading" message - the symbol underneath remained static, instead of revolving!
It is now possible to print images from within Aperture 2, but I am not happy with the colour fidelity, whereas it is possible to produce excellent, natural colour prints using its "minnow" sibling, iPhoto!
My intention is to buy another 3 VR300s to form a 4 drive Raid 0 array for optimum performance, and to store the original 640GB drive as an emergency bootable back-up. I would have ordered the additional VR300s already, but for the fact that there appears to have been a run on them, and currently they are out of stock at all, but the more expensive, UK resellers.
I should be most grateful to receive advice regarding the following questions:
    QUESTION 1:
I have had a look at the RAID setting up facility in Disk Utility and it states: "To create a RAID set, drag disks or partitions into the list below".
If I install another 3 VR300s, can I drag all 4 of them into the "list below" box, without any risk of losing everything I have already installed on the existing VR300?
Or would I have to reinstall the OS, applications and software again?
I mention this, because one of the applications, Personal accountz, has a label on its CD wallet stating that the Licence Key can only be used once, and I have already used it when I installed it on the existing VR300.
    QUESTION 2:
I understand that the failure of just one drive will result in all the data in a Raid 0 array being lost.
Does this mean that I would not be able to boot up from the 4 drive array in that scenario?
Even so, it would be worth the risk to gain the optimum performance provide by Raid 0 over the other RAID setup options, and, in addition to the SE II, I will probably back up all my image files onto a portable drive as an additional precaution.
    QUESTION 3:
Is it possible to create an eDrive partition, using TechTool Pro 5, on the VR300 in bay !?
Or would this not be of any use anyway, in the event of a single drive failure?
    QUESTION 4:
Would there be a significant increase in performance using a 4 x VR300 drive RAID 0 array, compared to only 2 or 3 drives?
    QUESTION 5:
If I used a 3 x VR300 RAID 0 array, and installed either a cloned VR300 or the original 640GB HD in bay 4, and I left the Startup Disk in System Preferences unlocked, would the system boot up automatically from the 4th. drive in the event of a single drive failure in the 3 drive RAID 0 array which had been selected for startup?
Apologies if these seem stupid questions, but I am trying to determine the best option without foregoing optimum performance.

    Well said.
    Steps to set up RAID
Setting up a RAID array in Mac OS X is part of the installation process. This procedure assumes that you have already installed Mac OS 10.1 and the hard drive subsystem (two hard drives and a PCI controller card, for example) that RAID will be implemented on. Follow these steps:
    1. Open Disk Utility (/Applications/Utilities).
    2. When the disks appear in the pane on the left, select the disks you wish to be in the array and drag them to the disk panel.
    3. Choose Stripe or Mirror from the RAID Scheme pop-up menu.
    4. Name the RAID set.
    5. Choose a volume format. The size of the array will be automatically determined based on what you selected.
    6. Click Create.
Recovering from a hard drive failure on a mirrored array
    1. Open Disk Utility in (/Applications/Utilities).
    2. Click the RAID tab. If an issue has occurred, a dialog box will appear that describes it.
    3. If an issue with the disk is indicated, click Rebuild.
    4. If Rebuild does not work, shut down the computer and replace the damaged hard disk.
    5. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
    6. Drag the icon of the new disk on top of that of the removed disk.
    7. Click Rebuild.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2559
    Drive A + B = VOLUME ONE
    Drive C + D = VOLUME TWO
What you put on those volumes is of course up to you and easy to do.
A system really only needs to be backed up "as needed" like before you add or update or install anything.
/Users can be backed up hourly, daily, weekly schedule
    Media files as needed.
    Things that hurt performance:
    Page outs
Spotlight - disable this for boot drive and 'scratch'
SCRATCH: Temporary space; erased between projects and steps.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StandardRAIDlevels
(normally I'd link to Wikipedia but I can't load right now)
Disk drives are the slowest component, so tackling that has always made sense. Easy way to make a difference. More RAM only if it will be of value and used. Same with more/faster processors, or graphic card.

  • Some questions regarding CO-PA

    Hello Experts,
I have some questions regarding de COPA module:
1-Where can i find wich G/L accounts are assigned to a especific condition type? Is there any transaction where i can check the g/l accounts for the condition types?
2-I heard that the condition type VPRS is statistical, can anyone explain me this concept?..wich accounts are assigned to this condition type?
3-Does anyone has a list of the most relevat transactions for COPA? especially regarding the value flows and the closing.
    Thnak you for your support!
    Leandro.

    Hi,
    a) VKOA transaction
    b) try reading this one: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/40/c52df80d1e11d2b5cf0000e82de856/frameset.htm Statistical means that the value in the CO-PA document for VPRS is also updated (truly) in other CO component. For example, revenue could be assigned truly to CO-PA segment and statistically to, let's say, cost centre. With material costs - it's the opposite.
    c) most of the data is flowing to CO-PA from other modules. However, just go to the standard menu: the transactions for CO-PA are not so many.

  • Have some doubt regarding the  weblog (Lookup's in XI made simpler)

    Hi All,
I have created the same scenario as mentioned in Siva's weblog (Lookup's in XI made simpler).
I having some doubts regarding the scenario, it will be great if you help me to resolve the same.
I am having a file-file scenario where I need to do lookup in database(MS-Access)  through mapping.
The standard file-file scenario is in place and in addition I have created a receiver jdbc channel . I  have also created the receiver agreement for the same in the cofiguration.
While creating the receiver agreement you have to specify the interface name which includes the message type…I have specified the normal format which we specify while configuring the jdbc receiver adapter.
In the message mapping I have created a advance user defined function as mentioned in your weblog which calls my receiver jdbc channel.
I have also specified the select query to be executed in the mapping program.
While testing I am getting the following error
Cannot produce target element /ns0:Role_MT/URole. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
<b>Can you please suggest me what all I need to do in addition to the file-file scenario for this lookup scenario to work.</b>
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
Following is my user defined function
    //write your code here
    String Query = "";
    Channel channel = null;

    Map rowMap = (Map)rows.next();
    result.addValue((String)rowMap.get("URole"));

  • Some clarifications regarding Aironet settings

    Hi,
i need some clarifications regarding configuring Aironet stand-alone AP (in this case AIR-LAP1131AG).
    Under Security->SSID Manager:
what is the purpose of Network ID?
Under Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings - what is the purpose of Set Infrastructure SSID?
and Force Infrastructure Devices to associate only to this SSID?
    Cheers,

Assign a Service Set Identifier (SSID) to each VLAN configured on the AP. SSIDs enable endpoints to select the wireless VLAN they will use for sending and receiving traffic. These wireless VLANs and SSIDs map to wired VLANs. For voice endpoints, this mapping ensures priority queuing treatment and access to the voice VLAN on the wired network

  • We have some quires regarding hardware True 64 bit + 64 bit

    Dear All,
We are planning to upgrade form Ecc5 to Ecc6 .We have some quires
    regarding hardware.
    At present we have
Itanium 2 HP sever rx2620 No 2 for production server
    Itanium 2
HP sever rx1620 No 1 for development sever /Quality sever
At present we have 64 bit server but we are planning to buy True 64 bit for the production server.
So our Itanium 2 HP sever rx2620 No 2 will be free and planning to
use this severs one as development sever and second Quality sever.
Please suggest that this sap setup is ok and will work because the
production server will be in True 64 bit and development sever, second
    Quality sever will be
    in 64 bit .
    Regards,

    Kumar,
    1. Tru64 runs on Alpha processors. Those processors are out of production for quite some years now (Digital was bought by Compaq, Compaq was bought by HP and the processor development was cancelled). The last version of Tru64 is from 2000.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEC_Alpha
    <...>
The Alpha architecture was sold, along with most parts of DEC, to Compaq in 1998. Compaq, already an Intel customer, decided to phase out Alpha in favor of the forthcoming Intel IA-64 "Itanium" architecture, and sold all Alpha intellectual property to Intel in 2001, effectively "killing" the product. Hewlett-Packard purchased Compaq later that same year, continuing development of the existing product line until 2004,
    <...>
    2. ERP 6.0 and all successor releases (including other products based on Netweaver 7.00) are no more available on Tru64 as well as there is no Java stack (see http://service.sap.com/pam).
So your current plan does not work simply because neither hardware nor software is available for your chosen platform.
HPs IA64 is the successor and is supported long term.
Technically it's not a problem to use different OS or different databases for DEV, QA and TEST, you can transport as usual.

  • Some concerns with a newly purchased Yoga 11s (Haswel)

I just picked up the 11s from Best Buy, and so far I really like it. A few concerns though:
    1) When using the virtual keyboard in tablet mode, the keyboard feedback noise seems to be messed up. When I tap a key, the sound will be soft and every once in a while it will make a louder feedback noise. It's not just one same volume level for each key press. Any way to fix this?
    2) I always inadvertently press a keyboard key (one of the function buttons on top) while folding the 11s from laptop mode to tablet mode. It seems that the keyboard does not become disabled until the red "Tablet Mode" notification on the top-right appears, which is usually after a few seconds of folding it. Until this, the keyboard is still active and I always accidently press the airplane mode key, screen backlight key, the refresh key, or some other key. I also sometimes click the mouse pad. Is there some way to either have the keyboard disable faster, or to fold it in such a way as to avoid accidently pressing the keys?

I'm not Lenovo support, but I'll chime in to offer my $.02
    1) The D:\ partition should contain drivers and installers for some bundled apps. The other partitions are for recovery, and I believe 13GB is dedicated for the main recovery partition. You can delete those extra partitions and then resize them using diskpart. You could also perform a clean Win 8 install and zap all of the partitions during setup.
    2) In regards to the battery, open the Lenove Energy Management utility and change it to Maximum battery life.

  • Some questions regarding ESB system.

    Hi all,
I've used my ESB system for a few months now, so I thought it would be interesting to look at what's going on in my database schema created by my esb system (oraesb). This led to some questions (and raising eyebrows), I hope some of you soa-experts might have an answer.
    * Is my system installed properly:
I noticed that the oraesb schema created by running IRCA.zip installs only tables, views, topic queues and 1 procedure (create_queue). However, looking at the sql scripts in ${soaSuite_home}/integration/esb/sql/oracle there are far more stored procedures defined. Is it normal cq. okay that these objects are not installed or is my esb system faulty?
    * No constraints or indices:
My system is yet very small, so it is still performing good/fast. I imagine that when the esb system is going further, performance and locking becomes an issue due to lack of indices on foreign key columns and primary/foreign constraints.
    * Only small part of schema used:
When browsing through the tables of the oraesb user I notice that only a few tables are filled with data. For example all "Slide Tables" (this is the name given to these group tables in file ${soaSuite_home}/integration/esb/sql/oracle/wfeventc.sql) are empty. Is this normal? What kind of processes should enter data in these tables? What is the use of the "Slide tables"?
    * AQ-tables not being used:
My esb system has five aq-queue tables (esb topics), but they are never used! I recall another thread on this forum about these queue tables growing enormous in size. I guess there must be a sort of switch somewhere to switch between jms-queue's and aq-queue's? Can anyone please explain how switch on the aq-queue's or point me to the proper documentation. I must have overlooked this in the documentation.
    Kind regards,
    Happy new year,
    H

When your podcast is accepted you should receive an email telling you this and giving the URL for its page in the iTunes Store. The string of numbers at the end is the ID number.
It usually takes somewhat longer for a new podcast to appear in the search results. Once you can find it by searching on the title, you can get the Store page URL, if you still don't know it, by control-clicking on the podcast image (or where it should be) and choosing 'Copy Podcast URL'.
You may find this page helpful in giving you basic information about podcasting:
