Some fields are getting hidden in contract..

Hi All,
I have a problem while creating contract in ME31K.
Start of Validity period validity period end fields are getting hidden in ME31k.
Field selection group for the contract document type is WKK and these fields in this group are 'required entries'.
I don't understand how come these fields are disapearing in contract..
Can anybody please figure out the problem...

Hi,
In ME31K, these date fields will be usually not showed on the initial screen. While creating contract, after entering vendor, agreement type, agreement date, organizational data, we will be taken to the next screen where in we need to fill validity start date and end date.
In ME33K we can see this information under Header - > Details menu path.
If these dates are not available in the details tab, you might need to create a transaction variant from "SHD0" transaction. Please check under details tab and if not available create try to create a transaction varaint.

Please try with printer settings and used different printer formats.
Actully this problem because of printers configration which is used for backgound reports.

Not all fields are getting updated in transformation

Dear all,
Please help me in the following issue:
I have the following scenario:
DSO1 and CUBE1. From DSO1 to CUBE1 I have transformation. Fields are mapped one to one.
Some of the fields are getting updated in transformation (22 fields) and some of them are not updated in transformation. (2 - storage location and steel grade).
The fields exist in DSO 1 but don't go into cube.
I did the following:
1. deleted transformation and dtp, recreate = > not working
2. copied the cube, and create new transformation and DTP...not working.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ramona,
Storage location (standard infoobject 0STOR_LOC) has plant as compunding object, check whether this is the issue ? (may be check with Steel grade infoobject also).
Else, do some RSRV checks on the DSO and Infoobject, if it doesn't bring up any issue, raise a message with SAP.
Check your BW Support Pack level , is it the latest ? Give more details about the scenario ?

R12-Check Printing-Some fields are not shown in Arabic

Hi, we have a unique problem while printing the checks some fields are printed correctly in Arabic and some are printed in english, once in english are payee name, payee address, invoice number . am i missing something here, any help is appreciated.

There are couple of ways to achieve this,
1) - Create 2 variants, 1 variant for CFO with all the fields & 2nd variant with only relevant fields. Then use the authorization concept, where basis can restrict the access / execution of the report with specific variants.
From the basis view, they create role & assign this variants in one of the object ( not sure). Basis assistance required
2) - When developing report, write the validation for the respective fields such as maintain Customize table in which maintain userID's & fields which they can access. Display only those fields to the userID who executes this report. It should check this customize table for this UserID & only those fields listed should get displayed. ( for all the fields, instead maintaining each field, you can enter "ALL",
Eg: UserID -
Fields
CFO -
ALL ( report should display all the fields)
NONCFO-------Field1 | Field2 | Field3 | Field4 | Field5 ( only these fields should get displayed)
Note: In Customize table either you can maintain with User ID or Role. It will be more convinient in future as well.

Some fields are missing in Current Task - Designer Workflow Approval Task Process

I am using approval task process activity in designer workflow. When i go to the single task behaviour page, some fields are missing under Current Task Source.
Some missing fields are :
1. Assigned To
2.External participants
3. Form Urn
I am trying to get the above fields but not available. What could be the issue?

I think your task list is corrupted, could you please try to associate your workflow to another task list in SharePoint Designer > Click Workflows on left navigation > Click to open your workflow > Under Settings section, select another task
list and test.

Some fields are missing in some BO XI 3.1 reports

Hi Guys,
We are facing a strange issue on some webi reports, BO version is XI 3.1 and product version is 12.2.8.638. These reports are using a same universe which retrieves data from Data Federator
Issue Detail: Some fields are showing empty when we run the report at 1st time, but these fields will shows correct value when we run the 2nd time. Universe level Max Row limitation is 5,000,000 and no run time limitation.
I will appreciate if you can help me to fire the root cause.

Please check following :
1. Are you facing same issue in Webi Rich Client?
2. If Report ran fine in WRC, see in which viewer (Web, Advanced etc.) issue persists.
3. If all the viewers having same issue check whether loadbalancer or firewall (if any) blocking the data.
- [You can test it with infoview link bypassing an loadbalancer and make sure your firewall is stop and disabled.]

Some fields are missing in the ALV output

I have created a normal ALV report using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY . It shows the output correctly. But when I take the prin out or download to an excel sheet some fields are not there. Can I know how to solve this issue ?

hi Beena,
If you are downloading the ALV output to excel, please make sure that the DDIC structure is passed as a parameter to the REUSE_ALV. I doubt you are creating field catalog from the program and that DDIC structure is not used.

Fields are getting truncated

Hi,
I am doing re-development,while doing data loading I am getting some fields value truncated but as i had checked the transfer rule and update rules are all mapped correct and the field lengh is also correct .
Like our Company Code is 1000 and in the new development PSA that value is comming to be only 10.

Some fields are missing while recording through shdb

Dear Abapers,
I am doing bdc for F-27 t.code.Some fields,cobl-gsber(business area),cobl-kostl(Cost center) are missing while recording through SHDB.But when do it manualy the fields are displaying.Also i have ddded those fields manualy in the program,stll the fields are not getting captured.May anyone pls help me,why this problem is happening?What is the solution for this.

i can tell u that few transactions wont suffice us with BDC,so for such transactions we do bdc with similar kind of transactions.
ie., The transactions FB60 and f-63 both are meant for Parking.
But we cant do bdc for FB60 Parking. So we do bdc for f-63.
similarly when we do bdc for vendor few fields wont appear...in that case, we use bapi for it....
So try to find an appropriate bapi or similar tcode which will suffice ur need
hope its clear.

Transformation : some fields are not visble in Source DSO

i have done mapping in transformation by connecting one Write Optimized DSO with a Standard DSo.
Both DSO have same fields. But i am seeing some of the fields are not visible in Write optimized DSO in Transformation
so those fields can not be mapped with corresponding Standard DSO fields.
let me know how those fields can be make visible in Transformation.

"Attribute Only" will not be visible , only method to to do this maybe something like below .
1) Look at the keys of the standard DSO , pick up the same combination and the attribute only fields from the source in the start routine of the TFM .
2) in the field level routine of the TFM (for the atrribute only fields ) , read the tables with keys and populate .

Wallpaper fixed for the entire domain with group policy but some systems are getting the updated wallpaper

I fixed the wallpaper for the entire domain and It was applied to entire domain.
After some day, I have changed the domain wallpaper. Then some systems are showing New wallpaper and some systems are showing old wallpaper.
I have applied the gpudate /force command for those system who didn't get wallpaper.
Could you please suggest.

First, please make sure that the GPO is applied to client properly.
To check that, please follow the steps below:
gpupdate /force
gpresult /h C:\report.html
Note: This procedure needs the privilege of the Administrator.
If the GPO is applied properly, please try to reboot the client.

Some fields are missing from extractor to datsource in standard content

I have a standard datsource in CRM. when I see the extractor I can som eadditional fields which are not there in Datasource..
I hav enot enhance any fields. There some include structure in extract structure...

Extract structure can have more fields than what you see in your datasource...
The additional fields in the extract structure can be BW hidden or not relevant for BW..
You can check this in table ROOSFIELD for your relevant datasource

Is it possible to change what area gets hidden with fullscreenmode?

I have made modifications to the layout of SP2013 which now causes issues with the fullscreenmode option. Such that, items that I have added are not being hidden even though they should be and the fullscreenmode icon goes away when I got to full
screen, making it impossible to full back until I switch .master pages and switch it back.
Does anyone know where I need to look for this?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want the Focus on Content control to work correctly after customizing the master page.
To make it work, you need to wrap your main content around Contentbox div , such as adding the following string at the front of your main content:

Or use the following code in a Content Edit Web part in the page that you wan to use focus on content button:

File Content Conversion some fields are missing

I am trying to convert a fixed length flat file to XML.
Here are my parameters
CompanyCodeRecord.fieldNames = field1,field2,....field50
CompanyCodeRecord.fieldFixedLengths = 1,4,15,20...,50 (for all 50 fields)
CompanyCodeRecord.processFieldNames = fromConfiguration
CompanyCodeRecord.lastFieldsOptional = YES
CompanyCodeRecord.endSeparator = nl
If I do not use lastFieldsOptional=YES then the adapter is throwing an exception Error: <b>Conversion of complete file content to XML format failed around position 0 with java.lang.Exception: ERROR converting document line no. 1 according to structure 'CompanyCodeRecord':java.lang.Exception: Consistency error: field(s) missing - specify 'lastFieldsOptional' parameter to allow this
last retry interval started 19:31:08 2005-07-11</b>
If I use lastFieldsOptional=YES then the message does not contain last 8 columns (That means each record is containing only 42 columns).
Please help.

<b>lastFieldOptioanl parameter specifies whether the last fields can be omitted (YES) or not (NO) in a CSV structure. If you do not make a specification, the default value is NO</b>.
So i think u should use <b>NO</b> in this parameter.
