Some files are not visible on external drive

i have recently upgraded my laptop to Mac osx mountain lion, and inorder to have write access to NTFS drives i use paragon NTFS for Mac software which was working well with OSX Lion. After i have installed OSX mountain lion i can only see the files which were created using this Mac book from the time it is purchased and all order files are not being shown on the external NTFS hard drive. is this because of any bug in the new OSX?? kindly help.

ITunes are not seeing my external drive as the library

Hi, I'm struggling to get music on my iPhone.
All our music is stored on an external hard drive that we use with our iPods. My wife and I recently got iPhones and we're trying to put some music on them.
iTunes is setup to get the music from the hard drive but for some reason I can not access it any more. My problem is that iTunes are not seeing my external drive as the library.
Here's how I've set my iTunes up:
Edit - Preferences - Advance
iTunes media folder location: J:\Lacie_iTunes (that's where the music is stored)
Now this worked perfect with our iPods but for some reason iTunes is not seeing the music anymore.
In iTunes, if I click on Library and then Music all I get is a screen to either download music (with tutorials) or import CD's (with tutorials).
I'm using iTunes 9 and Windows 7, the iTunes version on my wife's laptop is an older version but I do not think that that is the problem.
Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Setting the iTunes Media folder in preferences only moves the content to the external drive. The library database files will still be at the default location of ...\My Documents\My Music\iTunes. When you move the portable drive from one machine to the other you'll have access to the content, but not the database hence you get an empty library and the prompt to add some content.
See this recent post for pointers on how to rearrange the database & media folders so that everything is truly portable. I don't have time just now to rewrite the instructions for your specific drive & folder names but if it's not clear I'll pop by later and write them out again.

You could turn up the brightness of your display. It's also possible the backlighting has gone bad.

Some updates and clarifications:
1. I already have my 2.4 channel fixed.
2. Wireless network name is 8 alphanumeric characters; no spaces
3. Already using WPA2 security with a 10 alphanumeric key (again, no spaces)
4. I am running Airport Utility 6.0, Mac OS version 10.7.4
I should also say that these problems started happening less than a month ago...prior to that all devices where working normally.
An added update: My two e-readers (nook ST and Kindle 3) are also refusing to connect...perhaps confirming that I have 2.4 GHz issues?

Uploaded files are not visible

I have uploaded numerous mp4 tutorial files I use on a regular basis, and they are not visible (I did not hide files). They were not visible at all after their upload. I initially thought there was an error were issue with the upload, but when I went to upload a single file once that is complete I was told in a dialog box is a duplicate file name. The duplicate file is visible; however, the original upload file is not.

Some files are not shown in my airport disk

well, so far i'm impressed with my airport extreme, very stable and amazingly fast, but....
while testing access to my lacie hd over my airport connection i noticed some of my files where not available, initially i thought it was due to folder properties or corrupted files, but when i connect the hd via firewire all items are visible and i can open them without problems.
any suggestion to solve this problem??

I have a similar problem with drives attached to my Airport Extreme. The files on the drives are visible when I access them from my MacBook, but not from my XP laptop - no files visible at all on either drive. If I then connect them up directly to the XP box using USB, then all files are visible once again.
Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Captivate 5.5 published files are not visible in Fire Fox or open in new window.

When I publish and post Captivate 5.5, the HTML or the swf files do not display in Fire Fox (latest version) without forcing the file to open in a new window (if it displays at all). If it does work, the Flash security blocks the swf on an ugly view until the user clicks.
I thought it was because I have to assign a direct URL to each component, but all of the other Captivate sites I have reviewed have the same issue when viewing in Fire Fox.
IE will display after the active x is authorized (I can live with that).
You Tube and other Flash display properly in Fire Fox, just not Captivate products.
I have disabled off all plugins, modified the protected settings, and everything I could find listed in the Fire Fox help. I have installed a previous version of Flash and Shockwave Player. Short of reinstalling windows, it is not working and that will not help because the published content is not visible on any other machine in the office or at home.
The files are in a Portal, so I cannot share them unless you are in the DoD and have an AKO or DKO account.

I am not sure if it has something to do with the other 2 published xml files that are not directly referenced in the html, but I just need either the swf or html to display in the iframe without forcing another window to display and without a lot of dependecy issues with other add-ons in Fire Fox.

Any of the DAU games, if they display. It is a government site, so they have the standard gov garbage (stuff not working like certificates), but nothing is harmful nor can they do anything to track other than the current session.
It is kind of weird how the content is displayed... It is not an intranet, it goes to a limited access portal. When I store content, it uses an absolute path instead of relative path. Very aggrevating when using many of the tools for non-programmers (like me), and probably more aggrevating for programmers.
Whether I point directly to the .swf or to the generated HTML, the content displays in IE, but not in FF.
It may be a combination of FF and Captivate. FF seems rather flaky in dealing with swf files. There is the consideration for add-ons, but I tried on a newly imaged computer and it still was not working. Even after going through all of the FF steps to get it to work.
Basically we had to create a new HTML file to display the content because the Captivate published files don't work. However, the new HTML does not reference the XML files.
When I publish, I get 5 different files, .swf, .htm, .js, and 2 .xml. When I dig through the code (once again, not a programmer, soo I may be missing something), even round tripping to Flash, I do not see how the .xml files are referenced at all.
These may be different topics, not sure, it came up because I am trying to get a simple solution from the product that can be easily transferred to our production servers and available for Solders to access.

Svg files are not visible in Adobe Edge

I am able to see where my svg files are, and am able to animate and size them. However, I can only see the outline of the file, not the actual image.
When I preview this in my browser, everything is visible and there are no problems.
How do I see my svg files?

Can you pl share your composition to let us know how the SVG is being used or can you give more details like your animate version, machine details and specify exactly how it is being used, such as whether the svg does not render only when used within the symbols etc?.

Wiped my computer, backed it up, and some files are not the same

I was having some touchpad related issues so I took my macbook pro (late 2011) to the apple store. There they initiated a wipe after having told them that I used a portable external hard-drive to back up my documents. I used migration assistant and everything seems to have backed up fine except for this one document that has all my class notes. The last note I have recorded is from the 5th of March when I used that document up until March 19. Is there any way I can recover the file from that date? Any advice/help would be much appreciated.

Pc recognizes air disk but files are not visible

i have an airport extreme and an express and after three days of fiddling almost everything is working. but on the pc i can open the air disk. in the info box the pc sees itincorrectly as a phat 32 disk even though it is hfs+. i am able to mount and open it but when it opens there are no files visible. if i plug the drive directly into the pc its all good. through the extreme network - cant see the files.

Some images are not visible

I have a recordset which has 79 records with images. Report not showing last 9 images (sometime 10 images). Even I changed to display records in descending order then last 10 are visible as these images are at start, now i am unable to see
again last 9 images, which were visible when these were at start.

According to your description that you always go the last ten record not display in the report, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can't reproduce the issue, please try to answer and check the information according to the question below to help us better analysis about the issue:
Please Execute the query in the query designer to see if you can get all the 79 records.
How many columns in the reports? Did the field of the image comes from Database - select a row that contains the image from a database table?
So, you got the entire 10 rows with multiple columns not shown in the report,right?
As
yosedesh mentioned that please make sure you have checked all the pages and you can also export the report to HTML or MHTML to see if you can see all the record display.
I recommend you to recreate the tablix or redesign an new report the same as this to see if you still have the same issue.

Just installed latest 5.7 and my Raw files are not visible Is there a setting?

I don't want to use DNG, just adds another step in the process. Is there a setting? I've checked for updates. Downloaded the new version.

Mozilla help site instructions often start with locating the Thunderbird profile files. I can see these from within Tbird and with a Terminal command, but not with Finder. Why not? I believe I have message index corruption, but I cannot delete the index file as directed.

When you select Help/Troubleshooting Information and click 'Show Folder', does the profile folder not open in Finder?

Instead of deleting the index msf files, you can rebuild them by right-clicking a folder in TB, Properties, Repair Folder.
