have you tried vlt up --force ? Make sure that you are using latest version of vault tool. Also let us know sequence of command you are using ?

Many thanks for your answer, i use windows 8.1! I have found the problems: For install the news version the install need the old installer (but i delete all installer, cause they use a lot place on hard drive (SSD)).
I have desinstall the whole Adobe and réinstalled it, i have save the whole installer on a external disk. So when the installer asked the old installer i indicate to programm my external disk ans all works good now.

After confirming they are undeed out-of-date, i've flagged them.
Please note that the maintainers decide when they will update the packages, and it may take some time before they get around to it.
In case there are packages that are important to you, it helps if you try to compile those yourself with ABS and mail the maintainer about the changes needed.
Often minor changes in the PKGBUILD are all that's needed.

Start/stop/restart live stream - do stream files need to be removed first?

When streaming a live event if something happens and we need to stop our encoder and then restart it again.
Do we need to delete the stream files created in the 'application/event/' directory and also delete the f4f stream,bootstrap, etc... files too?
If we don't delete the stream files before restarting the live stream. It will only play about 10 seconds of the stream then just hang buffering.
What is causing this?
My application log shows no access when I restarted the stream.

I have a similar issue like Mr Dave explained. If need to stop, start, stop and restart again, the encoder is sending, but in player not shows nothing. Then we need to stop and disconnect in encoder, and remove the stream file in /event and the cache files in livestream folder for after then restart the streaming. Only after this action, the streaming works fine and the streaming shows again in player.
Have other way to solve this issue without need all that actions? Note that I use the Adobe FME to live streaming and encoding in HDS http streaming

Why would the SPD workflow .xsn file are all needing to be updated for some reason?

I have had more then a few workflows all of sudden need to be recompiled and published, and what I'm noticing is that I'm being told with an error message that the .xsn file needs to be updated.
any idea why the infopath form for the workflow would need to be updated?

So the fields that are changed may not be on your list. This could be a lookup to a different list or something like that.
The SharePoint logs will contains the details of which field is the problem. You might want to use ULS Viewer:

Following an update of Friefox to version 5.0 I have had trouble with a file which was deemed malicious by AVG antivirus software, the file is ASC.EXE - is this file part of my update, or do I have a virus which needs deleting?

Firefox does not seem to have fully updated, so I suspect that this file which has been blocked by AVG anti-virus is an element of the update (it was created around 10 minutes after the update began).

The old Flash SWF files that don't update in pages created with templates problem

I hate to even ask this question again because I know it's
been posted many times. I've read all the answers I could find but
I'm afraid I still need help. I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 on a Mac.
I've gone in preferences and unchecked "insert using browser-safe
scripts" and "Convert tags" and I've tried to make my paths to the
SWF files relative to the site root but I just can't get it to
work.
There are about three articles on what the Site Root path can
be used for and why it's good or bad. I've read all those and I
guess I'm dense because I just can't figure it out. I select site
root from the "relative to" drop down menu and it makes no
difference whatsoever. I look at the code and it seems OK. This is
what it looks like:

There are no ... before the directories and that's what it's
supposed to look like. The files still don't show. Part of me has
to wonder how the heck the html file would know which /image
directory the swf file is in because this particular site is one of
many self-contained site directories that sit in my public folder,
each site has it's own image directory. I thought maybe I'm
supposed to put the SWF files in the "image" directory right in the
first level of the public directory. I moved the files in there
changed the code to:

It doesn't work. Like I said, after reading the three or so

As a random educated guess, Is your local site folder defined
to the correct
folder? If it isn't, then dw can't make correct site root
relative paths.
Jumping to this from seeing the /public/ folder in the above
path.
Define the local site folder to the folder that directly
contains the site's
homepage index file.
Use the "host directory" line in the remote site info to
correct for any
required subfolder in the ftp setup. If public files need to
be placed in a
subfolder on the remote named public or public_html or htdocs
or www or
similar, put that folder name into the "host directory" line.
Also- to avoid problems adopt a file and folder naming
convention that
doesn't cause you to tear your hair out.
Americas map.swf
There is NO such thing as a blank space in a url. So don't
use blank spaces
in file or folder names.
A conservative naming convention would be to use only
a-->z and 0-->9 and
the _underscore. No blank spaces, no punctuation, no mixed
case.
Right-click on the file or folder in the dw Files Panel and
pick rename.

Knowing if links need to be updated w/o opening .indd

I have Manuals & Catalogs that have a lot of links that are updated all the time. I was needing to see if there is a way to see if the links in the .indd file needed to be updated with out having to open the .indd file and looking at the links box.

you need to make list with date&time of links before you last saved your INDD file
if you will have that list - you can check current date&time of these files

How to prevent DW CS3 editing remote files?

I have a site which I built with an earlier DW3.
I have migrated the site to DW CS3 and chosen 'edit local
files then upload' as the option
However, when I try to open a local file for editing, DWCS3
appears to insist on 'getting' the remote file and requires me to
dialogue and answer"Do you wish to overwrite local files" and Do
you wish to get dependant files"
This suggests that despite my choice in the setup, DWCS3 is
deciding to offer the remote files for editing.
Am I missing something I should do?

copy. Are you
the only one working on that site? If so, you do not need, or

Determining remote file size.

Hi All,
I have written a program that downloads file resources across the internet using URL's. Stream based communications via URL allow me to download files however I am wondering if there is actually a way of determining the size of the file on the server side. Obviously I can determine file size on my system once the file is downloaded, however I want to be doubly shore that files are successfully downloading by first determining the size of the file on the server and then checking that file size against the file size on my computer. This has become necessary because occasionally files are downloading incorrectly and Exceptions are not being thrown in those instances.

little stumped. I have a basic understanding of what a
metadata querier is (basically something that gets
info off the server for you) however there are two
things that I would appreciate help with:
1). How does one go about dumping a java class onto
the server?
2). What class would one use?
If you can provide any help with these two points it
will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the advice so

What I meant is create a Java Class that queries File MetaData. Compile it, then put it on the server.
Create an RMI server on the server-side that you would use as a proxy for this class.
From the client-side, call the proxy via the RMI Stubs that were generated when you compiled rmi server. Pass the file name, the stub will send the filename to the querier proxy that serves as RMI server, then this proxy will call the actual file meta data querier passing to it the filename, get the metadata in return, and sends them back to the client.

Droplet overwriting created file when saving

I having issues with my droplet.I'm using CS4.
I created an action that opens the pdf file, resizes it to 500 width, saves to a drop folder (NOT the same as original image folder) and then closes.
I created a droplet for this action. I have overides for the Open and Save As commands checked. And Suppress the File Open Dialogs. I have the folder going to that same drop folder as my action with the file name as document name + extension.
I drag my files onto the droplet and it appears to be working. Only problem is it keeps overwriting the file name with each new one. I've got one image in the folder (out of five that I'm testing with) instead of each image saved. What the heck? I've never had this issue before.
Just to be clear, it's not overwriting the original image. It's overwriting the created image over and over.
I have also tried the Image Processor with no luck there either. I've used it with that same action which creates one PSD file over and over, even though I tell it to create a JPG. I've also tried it without the action and it does nothing.

When you created the Droplet, did you choose Destination: Folder, and did you choose [ ] Override Action "Save As" Commands?
You will need to do so, and specify Document Name for the File Naming field, if you want it to work the way you are describing.

Not Working: BlackBerry Link Remote File Access Remove Old BlackBerry from BB ID

I have: removed my blackberry q10 from blackberry link, wiped my q10, uninstalled and reinstalled blackberry link, have link version 1.1.1.32, blackberry q10 os version 10.1.0.2309 - which whenever I plug in the q10 after removing the device from link, says there is an os update, so I update it, and then it does nothing apart from rebooting the q10, or gives an error saying 'updates not available. Please check internet connection and retry.'.
Also, I have Logout/login on blackberry link, I know my q10 is activated as I have purchased items from app world, and on the computer the app world site shows that I have a q10 when I sign in. I am using the same BBID and have changed the password on my q10 to see if that made a difference, then signed out and back into link on computer with updated password. I have administrator rights on my computer.
I can access the q10 from my computer over the same wifi network, and it syncs files fine with wireless sync turned on. It is remote file access not giving the option to connect to my q10. 'BBID *email* isn't associated with a device running Blackberry 10 OS or an error occurred when trying to retrieve your information from the Blackberry ID servers.'
The problem is that although I have the same blackberry id for link and my q10, no devices show up on the remote file access screen, and I cannot access my files on my computer from my q10, yet I can sync them on my computer over the wifi network. How can I enable Remote File Access?
A problem could be that I have a Curve 9300 on my BB ID account, so if I could disable this (which I have no idea how to do after a lot of research), this might rectify why link cannot set up remote file access.
What I haven't done is wiped my q10 and uninstalled all user data from link at the same time, as then I would have to manually reload everything on my q10.
My q10 shows my computer in the settings\blackberry link\paired devices , but I 'cannot view files on *computer*'. Also, link does not show in the file manager. I set up my q10 as a permanent link not a one-off connection.

No one cares because it's not a z10 (I know because I am having the same problem and no one knows how to fix it and no threads for q10 fix)

9.2.0 Upgrade (CPSID_50026) "Files in Use" - "Some files that need to be updated are currently in use" "Program Manager"

I have no other applications open, when I try to update with 9.2.0, but I receive subject error message. Task Manager shows NO Image Name called "Program Manager". There is nothing else running, that is obvious to shut down. Any suggestions, Please?

Have these posted suggestions worked for anyone? I have been using the same installation files on several different machines. Most machines upgrade just fine but, I have a few that receive this error and I cannot seem to get past it: "Some files that need to be updated are currently in use" "Program Manager" is the program that the installer is complaining about. Does anyone know what program "Program Manager" is? I'm assuming it is an Adobe file but, why would it interfere with one of my installations and not all of them?
I'm using the same installation files for all installs so, I don't believe that it could be my downloaded installation setup files.
