The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

I completely agree there. What bugs me really, is how Adobe is not helping ColdFusion becoming more popular. I almost think it's better to lie "You don't need an IDE" than saying "There's an IDE but it costs hundreds per license" to a project manager unfamiliar with CF.

As ColdFusion has been proven to be practically dead in some snowy, cold corners of the universe, I feel strongly about issues which prevent ColdFusion from getting more popular. There's no chance in hell CF will become even a _known_ product in countries where it's already dead. It doesn't matter at all how good the technology is, if companies know there's no one to replace a coder if he quits the position.

Depends on what you had
If you had iPhoto version 9.5.1 then you can reinstall from the app store under purchases
If you had any version of iPhoto '11 then you can install for free from the App store
If you had any earlier version of iPhoto (iPhoto '09 version 8.x.x) or older then you need to purchase iPhoto '11 version 9.x.x from the app store
If you had iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) or older then you also need to download and run the iPhoto library upgraded prior to launching the new iPhoto

Some free tapes are not used by backup job - dpm 2012 r2

Hi,
I have DPM 2012 R2 with IBM TotalStorage 3572 tape library. It is 8 slot tape library. All was working with initial 8 tapes I added to tape library. I had one Protection group to be archived on 8 tapes. I was doing Daily and weekly backups. Every 2nd week
I would do a weekly backup and keep it for 2 weeks i.e. I need 2 tapes for weekly backups. All was working ok until I introduced two new weekly tapes as a replacement for 2 weekly tapes in library. Because of disaster recovery procedure - I have to take
weekly tapes out of library and store them in disaster recovery location for some time. So I pulled out 2 weekly tapes and added 2 new tapes. New tapes were marked free and they are showing as Free tapes.
Now - the trouble is that these 2 free tapes are not used by backup job and instead - backup job writes weekly backup on any of the available Daily tapes (like from 4-5 days ago) instead of using one of the Free tapes that are available.
I'd like the backup job (Protection group) to use Free tapes first and only if there are no available free tapes - to go and do backup on Daily tape or ask for a free tape.
I am probably doing something wrong here - so I would really appriciate if anyone can help me with this? Any ideas?

What update rollup are you running on the DPM 2012 R2 server ? DPM 2012 R2 UR5 introduced a new refresh feature that will re-enumerate data sources on an individual protected server.
Check for VSS errors inside the guests that are having problems being backed up.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Installed some free Audio Units.....

Hi Folks,
I Installed some free Audio Units but not all of them show up on the insert menu.
The units I installed were:
Bouncy.component
Crazy Ivan.component
Cyanide 2.component
LiveCut.component
MadShifta.component
s(M)exoscope.component
SupaPhaser.component
SupaTrigga.component
I put them in Library > audio > plugins > compnents.
In the AU insert menu I have access to Bouncy, Crazy Ivan, SupaTrigga and LiveCut but the rest don't show up.
Anyone any idea what I've done wrong?

Logic has a validation process. A lot of free stuff fails the validation and thus does not show up. You can force them to be used, but you mileage may vary. If Logic fails to validate a plugin, I go with the failure and just do not use it.

The easiest way, IMO, to install apps to a BB is to use the BB web browser to go to the app site...then install from there...if they have formatted it correctly for a BB, it will DL and install automatically.
It is also possible to DL to a PC and install, but you have to follow some more complicated processes...see this KB:

Within reason, Pages v5.2 documents are forwards compatible with Pages v5.5.3. Apple introduced the single file format document as a default with Pages v5.5.3 which is not backwards compatible with Pages v5 on Mavericks.
However, they also provided a File > Advanced > Change File Type > {Single File, Package} menu that allows you to change the current Pages v5.5.3 document into the backwards compatible Package type document. You would follow this transformation with a File > Save operation to complete it.

Are the apps compatible with your model iPod and its iOS version? You say you have a iOS 4.2. That implies a 2G iPod. Many, many apps now require iOS 4.3 or later or a 3G or later iPod.
Also do you have Restrictions turned on that would d prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions.

Trying to down load some free games-not enough access priviledges?

I have been trying to download some free games on my new ipod touch. It gives me a message:
There was a problem down loading "game." You don't have enough access priviledges for this operation. Please check that the connection t the network is active."
There is an err-5000 on the download page. I did notice there was not an application tab on the left side where library, podcast, etc.. is.
I am on the internet, and signed in. It even shows me my balance on my itunes account. I am the administrative user, signed in on my account. Why won't it download for me?

OK. I now know what happened but don't know how to fix it. When I hooked up my ipod touch i did it on my son's user account. My administrator's user account doesn't have the blue application icon nor does my daughters. But my sons does. I supposed because I didn't sync it with the admisistrators account it worked out this way. So.... how do I get it on my account and my daughters. (She is going to go and buy one today.)

It is connected to the net as dropbox registers a connection and so does skype. I can connect to the WiFi in work and on other networks when travelling. However, some other networks are now starting to fail. Can anyone suggets how I can fix it, as the MBP appears to be fine, its updated with all the latest versions of software and the WiFi network is also fine....just not with my MBP??

Yes, they will use a very small amount of your internet bandwidth to display.

Thank you. I put it in airplane mode like you suggested, but it looks to me like all the applications and ads are still running. Anyway, I'm just gonna play when I'm really really bored and use them as less as possible. Thank you again for your quick answer.
