Some Google delegate calendars won't appear within iCal

Strange.  My main Google calendar syncs just fine with iCal.  So does the Google Holiday calendar (which is a delegate.)  I added the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues calendars as delegates.  They appear in the delegate window in iCal preferences and, when I checkmark them there, also appear in the calendar list within iCal.  Trouble is, the actual events contained in the sports calendars are not displayed in iCal, for example, a Rams game scheduled for Sunday at 4:05pm doesn't appear at all.  I did check and those events are displayed correctly on the web-based Google calendar.  Any ideas as to a fix are appreciated.

Similar problem here. I can select the delegate calendars within iCal, but it simply doesn't sync any events for the delegate calendars. I'm also returned an error if I try to manually subscribe to the calendars, e.g. using a direct link from the Google calendar settings.
Either way, I think it's all related to a known block Google have implemented to deal with an iCloud conflict. Keep an eye here for a solution...although it's been several months already obviously:

The iPhone select utility should get things rolling on any iOS devices. See:
https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect
NB. You must do it individually from each individual iOS device.

  • Can't get iphone calendar entries to appear in ical

I can't get iphone calendar entries to appear in ical. Also, my iphone has hung up on sycning calendars several times. Even the couple of times it has gone through it, nothing I enter on the iPhone goes into ical.

Mine also seems to be syncing iCal info o.k. from my phone. Tried it again today with several calendar entries and all showed up perfectly in iCal.
I have also been using the calendarcreator service for a while on my MBP and this shows up on the info pane for my iPhone and allows me to select it to sync with. I believe this is how my iPhone info is getting into iCal but I will confirm this again tonight.

  • Calendar won't appear on Dotmac

Just signed up for dotmac. Tried publishing my caledar to my dotmac page. After publishing I'm told that Calendar has been published successfully. But the calendar does not appear on my dotmac page--and the addresses do not match my dotmac address. (Contacts and personal pages show up all right)
    Any help?
    Thanks.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
They do not appear on .Mac at all. Publication, via .Mac or using a private WebDAV server, simply means that they are available for subscription at a specific URL. That URL is given to you when you choose to publish a specific calendar.
I am not at all certain what this means: "…and the addresses do not match my dotmac address. (But) …contacts and personal pages show up all right." Addresses (in the Address Book, I presume) do not match your .Mac addresses, but contacts show up all right? Huh?

  • Can I sync a google delegate calendar to icloud calendar.

Basically trying to get a calendar (currently on my google cal as delegated) to sync to my icloud calendar.  Then, I am hoping it auto synchs to iPad and iPhone.
    Thank you very very much.

Why don't you just set the Google Calendar up on the iPhone and iPad directly, instead of trying to get it to go via iCloud?

  • Why don't changes I make to calendar on iPhone appear on iCal or iCloud calendar?

Objective: make changes to calendar on iPhone (iOS 5.0.1), iPad (iOS 5.0.1), iCal (on MAC with 10.7.3) that automatically sync with each other through iCloud.
I had a MobleMe account and moved to iCloud. However, when I make changes to my calendar on iPhone or iPad they do not appear in iCal on MAC or on iCloud calendar.
As an aside, when I make changes to iCal or on iCloud they do appear on iPhone if I connect it to iTunes.
Ive been searching through forums and trying different things all day & still can't figure it out.

  • Events entered in iphone calendar won't sync to ical

For some reason, if i add an event to my calendar on my iphone4 it is not showing them in iCal.
Have got sync box checked in the info part of itunes, can't think of anything else
    anyone?

    The tech way longer.....
Open iCal and backup or export your entries. Make a note of the fie name and location, you're going to need them in a minute. Once your backup/export is completed, close the iCal application.
Open Finder and remove everything inside the "Username/Library/Calendars" folder. For instance, if your username is "Joe", then move everything inside the "Joe/Library/Calendars" folder.
Open the iSync application. It's located in the "/Applications/" folder. Once iSync is opened, go into the iSync Preferences (iSync -> Preferences) and push/click the "Reset Sync History" button. Then, close the iSync application.
Re-Open the iCal application and Import (File -> Import) a new calendar. When prompted, use your notes from Step #1 to select the file your created earlier. Once completed, close the iCal application (you should have all of your calendar entries back.)
Open the iTunes application and connect your Apple iPhone to the computer.
Within the Advanced section of the Info tab for the Apple iPhone, check the box the overwrites/replaces the Calendar data on the Apple iPhone.
Click the Apple/Sync button. New, modified and deleted entries should now be syncing correctly.

  • Some events missing in ipod but appear in ical

Some of my appointments/events in ical are not transfering to my ipod. The one I noticed last was from a subscribed calendar. There were two events on the calendar, one of which appeared on my ipod calendar and the other did not. I tried dumping the calendar files on the ipod, resubscribing to the calendar, reupdating the calendar to the ipod again, running the ipod updater program. Nothing helped though. I want to depend on my ipod for my calendar but unless I can get this fixed I cannot. Help!
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

As a follow up I went to my local Apple Store and talked to a genius. He looked at it and at some forums and information and asked that I test to see if I put the iPod in disk support and deleted all the calendars from the iPod's calendars directory, then export each calendar manually from iCal to the iPod's calendar's directory. This actually worked - though it is a most inconvenient way of updating my iPod calendar. This seems to be a bug in either iCal or, more probably, iSync and will probably require an update from Apple.

  • Imported ics calendar does not appear in iCal on my iPhone

When I import an .ics calendar to my iCal as a new calendar - it ends up in my "on my mac"-list and not on my "apple-ID-list" which (I figure) is the reason why the imported calendars aren't showing up on my iPhone iCal. What I can I do to change this??

    Hi,
I couldn't import ics invitation received by email (in Mail). When I clicked on the ics invitation iCal was opening buy the ics invitation didn't appear.
Reading a few post I realized I could drag the ics invitation from from to iCal and then the invitation appeared into the "Waiting to confirm box" - on the right of the calendar button. By default is tried to sync using the "on my mac" account.
    ANSWER:
I wasn't using this account, so I DELETED all my "on my mac" calendars and iCloud calendar is now my default. From now on all my ics invitation are imported into iCal AND they sync flawlessly to my other device (iPhone 5 and iPad 4) and to people sharing this calendar.

  • Invite Email not being sent from iCal from a Google Apps calendar

    Hello,
I am running Mac OS X 10.6.5, iCal 4.0.4, and am attempting to do the following from a Google Apps calendar I have setup in iCal. Please note that it's not gmail, it's Google Apps. If that makes a difference. That being said...
I am trying to create a meeting invite from iCal. I am able to create the invite and add attendees with no problem. When I hit send (from iCal), the invitees do not receive an email notification of the event, but it does appear their calendar (both in iCal and via Google Calendar on the web). I need an email to be sent to the invitees that they have been invited to a meeting, not just to have it appear on their calendars.
When I create the meeting invite via Google Calendar on the Web the invitees do receive an email notification (as specified in their calendar preferences). The issue only happens when the meeting invite is created in iCal.
When an invitee accepts or declines a meeting via iCal I receive an acceptance or declining email. Just not when the meeting invite is sent.
Also, I am able to create a meeting on one of the "On My Computer" calendars in iCal, invite people, and a meeting invitation is sent as expected.
And again, the invitees have notification of meeting invites turned on in their calendar settings (as is shown by the fact that when the invite is sent out via Google Calendar on the Web they receive an email with the invite).
Thanks! Any assistance would be awesome.
    Aaron

That was actually my post on the Google forums
Here is what I have found so far (and hopefully some of my assumptions are correct, because we're making the full switch to Google Apps this weekend and I am assuming it will work after this). This is long, but I'm trying to be thorough. Also note that I have updated to 10.6.6 since the time I first posted my last message.
We are currently piloting Google Apps, so our primary domain (which I will refer to from now on as domain.com) still points to our old exchange servers. Mail is currently being delivered to our Google Apps pilot accounts the following way:
    1. User sends an email to [email protected]. This email is delivered to our old Exchange servers.
    2. Once the email is received on our old Exchange servers it gets forwarded to our Google Apps test domain (gtest.domain.com).
This seems to be an important piece of the puzzle as our primary domain (domain.com) shows up on the Google Apps for Admin dashboard as improperly setup (which is correct, because we're currently piloting)
So, in iCal I have my Google Apps account setup (I'm one of the pilot users) the following way. I added the Account as Google calendar in iCal, but once the account shows up it shows up as a CalDAV account.
    Under the account information tab:
    CalDAV
    Description: [email protected]
    User name: [email protected]
    Password: my password
Under the server settings tab (*NOTE: these were entered in automatically when I setup the calendar as a Google calendar)
    Server address: www.google.com
Server path: the path to my calendar.
    Use SSL is checked
Use Kerberos v5 is NOT checked
So, during my testing I was sending meeting invites from people who were in the Google Apps pilot to other people who were in the Google Apps pilot. When I was doing that, no invitations were getting sent.
I created a new email account on our exchange server ([email protected]) but did NOT set it up to be a part of the Google Apps pilot (this means that emails were not being forwarded from [email protected] to [email protected]). Doing this successfully delivered all invites, cancellations, and meeting updates from iCal!
From what I can tell there must be something going on (probably my own fault) when a calendar invite is sent from my Google Apps account, through our old Exchange system, and then back to our Google Account. My assumption is it has something to do with the fact that our MX records for domain.com currently point to our old exchange servers, and the MX records for gtest.domain.com point to the Google Apps servers. It may also have something to do with the SPF record which only allows emails from domain.com to be sent from our Exchange servers.
Those are just guesses though as I am not very knowledgeable in that area.
I hope this helps and I would love to hear about anyone else working on this issue.

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer.

  • Google calendar won't show?

I put Google Calendar on my site in dreamweaver. It works perfectly in inspect mode but when I load the page on internet explorer it shows the classic "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" where the calendar should be but the rest of the page shows correctly.
    Extra Info:
When I am in Dreamweaver the box the calendar should be at is grey, when I go into inspect mode 2 new code files appear at the top of the page (where it says source code, the attached css sheets, etc.) which are for the calendar which shows up and works perfectly when I enter inspect mode. Maybe it is a problem with those 2 codes being in the calendar and not the page itself, and I don't know how to save them to the site.
Also I am only in high school and just starting to learn about dreamweaver although I already know quite a bit.
if you want to see the 2 codes then tell me I can post them here I just don't want to in this post because they are long, one is "supposedly" only 2 lines long so that if you had a screen that was HUGE it would all show in 2 lines but the 2nd line is show long it looks more like 100 lines. The 2nd one shows 244 lines but each "line" actually takes up 3-6 lines on the screen. so if you want me to post them tell me. but if you want to look at the whole coden to find a problem be prepared to spend an hour or 2 looking it over.

I don't believe it would be a problem with the code itself because i have done nothing to edit those codes (infact it says I can't edit them because they are remote files) All I did was make a calendar on google Calendar, embed it on my site using the embed code included on the site, and try to test it. I can put in the code that I embedded in the site to put the calendar there. I will put it in both in plain code and in raw html to see if it works on here.
I already read the post on the difference between using raw code and plain syntax highlighting.
        <iframe src="https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?showTitle=0&amp;showPrint=0&amp;showTabs=0&amp;showCalendars=0&amp;height=400&amp;wkst=1&amp;bgcolor=%233333ff&amp;src=3u1pcpnss0vv2sse6ku3ai0d6k%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;color=%23060D5E&amp;ctz=America%2FNew_York" style=" border-width:0 " width="800" height="500" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------RAW CODE HERE---------------------
        ------------------------RAW CODE END HERE--------------------------------
^so it simply isnt showing the calendar here with raw code

I am having problems with the month of October.  When I have the full month view, the synced items from google calendars won't show.  But they do for all the other months.  There is definitely a glitch somewhere because if I am on day view and try to click on day 15 of October, it will not let me.  It totally is acting weird.

Free fonts, fonts from a reliable foundry?
Have you tried removing them temporarily?
Do you still have problems if you create a new Windows user account and log in with that? How about if you start in Safe Mode?
And I would run a memory checker and see Troubleshoot font problems | Windows
