Some how my IPOD Shuffle play list got changed to genres, I can't get it back listed as I added each song?
My play list for my I POD Shuffle somehow got changed to genres. I can't find a place to help me return it to it's original version of 1st song, followed by second
etc: I have 169 songs, and need help?
Well, shut my mouth! There was a similar question over to the right about a 6th generation nano repeating over and over again -- I read the answer to that one, followed the instructions, and holy crap, it's back to normal.
Is there a name for this when you end up replying to your own aggravating question? That's what I did. Now I can go out and listen. It's only 91 degrees. Heaven. Thanks, Apple.

If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account
Changing country : Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account.
Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option -
I can't get Window's Media Player to "recognize" my new ipod shuffle. Does anyone have a solution? When I pull the ipod shuffle up in Devices and Printers, it says it needs Troubleshooting, but the Troubleshooting provides no solution.
Windows Media Player? As far as I know, that won't work. You need to install iTunes

apple update erased my playlists, they are no longer showing on my iTunes. I am missing songs that do appear in iTunes and should be on the ipod but are not, and new playlists that I didn't have are now where mine should be. Any suggestions as to getting "MY" ipod back?

My iPod touch (4th gen) suddenly went blank, and I can't get it back on!
I was listening to music and downloading songs from the iTunes Store on my iPod touch (4th gen) when suddenly the screen went blank. The music I was listening to was still playing in my headphones. When I unplugged the headphones, the music oddly continued playing from the built-in speakers, instead of pausing like it normally does when you remove the headphones without pausing. I think the music finally stopped shortly after I plugged the headphones back in.
Since this happened, the iPod has not responded at all when I press or hold buttons. The screen has remained blank and turned off. Surprisingly, iTunes still recognizes the iPod when I connect it to my computer (Windows Vista laptop, if it matters) and tries to sync. Since iTunes is very poorly written, it almost always freezes at some point before I can successfully finish syncing, but this was happening before my iPod blank-screened, so it isn't related to the problem.

Changed email and my list of purchased apps is gone can I get them back?
Can anybody advise me how to get the list of purchased apps back? Also the update to my purchased scrabble was horrible and I deleted it. I went into check my other downloaded games to find nothing. Not sure if the update caused it.
Thank you.The app store purchased tab is not working right now and it has been broken for about 4 days now. Look at some of the other discussions on this forum about the very same issue. There have been a number of discussions about this in the last few days. We have to wait until Apple fixes it.

If you changed the Apple ID - not created a new one - but changed the email address for the ID - your purchased apps should still be available for you to download again for free. Do a search for the app in the app store and when the app shows up in the search, you can download it again from the window in which the app appears. -

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. When you activate the iPhone, you lose your saved voicemails from the other system. When you activate a non-iphone, you lose any saved voicemails from the iPhone voicemail system too.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

It cannot be reversed once initiated. However, if you also checked the "Notify me when found" option, if it comes online in order for it to erase, you may get notified of its location first.

You can transfer contents from your iPhone back to iTunes library:
First, *BEFORE you connect the iPhone, please go to the iTunes preferences and select "devices", then select "disable automatic syncing for iPad, iPhones and iPods"*.
Then, for those songs that you purchased on your iPhone: Transfer purchases from iPod to iTunes.
For all other non purchased contents (your photos etc), their are ton of third party programs, some is free: iDump, Floola. Some is shareware, but they does preserve playlist/ratings/playcounts/artworks etc: iCopyBot, CopyTrans
