Please think when you were at the beginer stage.Yes, I guess setting up a second machine under your desk and spending the next - oh I don't know - 2 months fiddling around and trying out all kinds of things is really nothing that can be asked of anyone anymore today. </sarcasm>
Mind you, my boss at the time did not find it funny that I just formatted a surplus workstation and monopolized it, but when I then took the first official training I had a whole stack of questions at the ready with which to hassle the teacher.

q1. default level at which validation accurs?Well, the default level is where ur trigger exist ( Form Level ,Block Level or Item Level )
q2. in which case property pallet display **** as a property value, what its meaning?Conceal ; it means hiding displaying data and it is almost used in password text item.
q3. best way to ensure that item can not accept query criteria?Well, actually i don't have any forms now but u could try it urself item property > query criteria (any related query allowed property ) >NO
q4. what is the use of key-other trigger?A Key-Others trigger fires when an operator presses the associated key.
A Key-Others trigger is associated with all keys that can have key triggers associated with them but are not currently defined by function key triggers (at any level).
A Key-Others trigger overrides the default behavior of a Runform function key (unless one of the restrictions apply). When this occurs, however, Oracle Forms still displays the function key's default entry in the Keys screen.

Interview Question -Help needed

The below question was asked by interviewer in my yesterday Interview.
lets assume Procedure has one Sql Which returns 100 rows and working fine and after 2 days it stopped returning values what error my procedure throws and what could be the reason for this behavior

He doesn't provide any further information about what data the SQL is supposed to fetch and how the procedure implements it?
There could be any number of reasons for it not to display rows anymore and an exception is not the most likely one.
Data may have been changed in the database tables so they no longer fulfill the SQL query predicates and that's something that happens every day.
Now, suppose it is indeed throwing an exception. One very common cause is a change in the table structure that causes the SQL to fail due to a coded SELECT * for instance.
Another common error could be the "ORA-01555: snapshot too old", because of lack of undo size or retention. There could be a lot more though and it's really hard to guess with this little information provided, not without making huge assumptions on coding practices, implementation or business logic.

Some basic questions: Help defining Real World Classes

I am trying to write a small applet using proper OO concempts and Java technique and I'm confused on the proper way to do this. I think I know several ways that work and have all the peices I need such as JMail and JDBC drivers, but would appreciate help on understanding how to properly structure my classes and objects.
The application will simply do the following: I have a database table that receives a new entry when a truck is late for its delivery. When this new record is created, I need to send an email to the driver manager who will then decide (via a jsp page) whether the customer should receive an email about the late delivery. For each truck, there will only be one driver manager and one client to be notified.
What I'm confused about is what classes and objects to create (and why). My first thought is to create a LateTruck class, a DriverManager class and a Customer class and have the LateTruck class call up the DriverManager to send an email then have the JSP page reinstantiate the LateTruck and instantiate the Customer class to send the email to the client.
If I do it this way, is there a proper way to send the email? Do I send the email as a method in LateTruck which gets the email address from DriverManager such as
LateTruck.Order1234.SendEmail(DriverManager.JoeBlow.Email)
or do I use LateTruck to write the email message which I then pass to DriverManager such as
DriverManager.JoeBlow.SendEmail(message)
Should I even break up the applet into three classes and objects? Since each LateTruck only needs one DriverManager and one Client, is the proper way to do this to create only one class called LateTruck which has DriverManager, DriverManagerEmail, ClientName and ClientEmail all as properties of LateTruck?

Hi, Creative. I'm an old costumer of Creative Labs, and now I have an Audigy 2 ZS and upgraded to Windows Vista.
Firstly, the latest drivers are working fine, at least to me. But the most important question: when I bought your product, I received a lot of softwares bundled.
No, not the games, but these software made by Creative to offer to the costumer many possibilities to obtain the best of the soundcard, like the equalizer, the THX control, etc...
Thus, I'd like to know the answers to a few questions:
. Will this softwares be released in versions compatibles with Windows Vista?
2. Is there an E. T.A., if the first answer is affirmati've?
3. and, last but not least, will it be offered free of cost to the consumers, through download?
I would appreciate if this question be answered by one of the Moderators.

The various bits of software that come bundled with every soundcard, such as the consoles, are having Vista versions being worked on. Unfortunately I do not have a ETA, and I don't know how it's going to be released, although I am assuming it'll be put on our website like everything else.
