Some Jbuttons do not show on a particular pc.

Hello,
1.
In one class, a JPanel has 8 buttons. On three of the pcs, all the buttons are visible but on one particular pc only one button is visible.
2.
In another class, I am using JOptionPane.showConfirmDialog method. This dialog box displays Yes and No buttons and the text message. Similar to point 1, on three pcs these buttons and text message are visible but on that pc they are not visible. All I get is a dialog box with the title and rest of it is blank.
What could be the cause ? How can I resolve it ?

Are you showing the GUI on the EDT? It should like a threading problem.

Ok, so I'll try again. Thank you for the idea of looking in Home Videos, which is where all my "lost" videos are listed.
Is there a way to get them to display under their appropriate genre in the Movie section, which is where they all were listed prior to the os6 update? It does me no good to have hundreds of movies categorized in iTunes via a genre only to have them appear in Home Videos on ATV. These are not "home movies." They are legit mp4 movies that worked great under v5.

Some Open programs not showing indicator light in dock in 10.8

After upgrade to OSX 10.8 some applications are not showing the indicator light in dock when they are open, even with the check box checked in dock preferences. Also, the only App available in command+tab is Finder. I think these are related.

I've seen this around various forums. It seems to be a bug although I haven't gone looking/asking to see if someone at Apple has noted it.
There are two fixes. Restart or open terminal and run:
killall -KILL Dock
This will restart just the dock and that should fix the dock and the cmd+tab (which is part of the same process).

Thumbnails on some websites will not show up

I have Firefox 22 & WinXP Pro. Some websites will not show a thumbnail picture on my home page. I have read all the articles on thumbnails & none of them help. I have cleared the cache, loaded the page by left clicking the blank thumbnail & letting it load. They are NOT https sites & I do not use private browsing. The sites WILL show pictures on my homepage in Google Chrome, so it's not the website. I will try to attach a screenshot, but I do not see a browse button. Can anyone help?

Thanks for responding. I went to Tools/Page Info, but couldn't find a "general" category. The website http://www.bridgeclues.com/ does show up in Chrome & used to show up in Firefox. How can I tell if there's a no-store or no-cache header?

Why some photos do not show up in the widgets after final export?

Why do I have a problem with the FeatureD News Widget not showing all my photos? I have tried redoing it many times over in different formats and all but one photo never shows up in the final export. Please I need help to finish up the website.

If I understand this correctly, you are reporting that you have images in your Featured News' target frames and some of those photos do not show up in the published site.
If so, I would like you to confirm if the widget works fine in Preview within Muse? Are the images missing in all browsers, even after clearing the browser cache? Can you provide a link to a published site? If required I may also request your source Muse file to investigate further.

Some thumbnails do not show up in organizer

I have created a catalog with all my photos. There is a folder listing at the left of the screen. Some of the files in those folders do not appear in the thumbnails. They are all jpg files. If i try to import the files that are missing I am told they are already in the catalog. Still cant see them. I am also having trouble navigating the forums. New to this.

Some folder contents not showing in Bridge CS3

Some folders will not display in any way in Bridge. It does not seem to matter whether they are Jpeg or RAW files. Other folders on the same internal drive show fine. Tried several options with no luck.

I should have researched a bit more. Did the holding Ctrl while opening Bridge and purged everything. Took care of it.

Some SQL fields not showing data in Crystal XI R2

I have a report that is using a stored procedure. In this stored procedure we have many fields that are being passed over to Crystal. A small portion of these fields do not show any data when you browse them in Crystal. But when you check on the SQL Server 2005 side, they contain data. So we know that the issue is probably on the Crystal side because there is data on the SQL side.
I originally thought that the problem may be caused by Null values in the database, but I used Crystal to convert the Null's to numeric zero if it was a number, and still there was no data showing up.
Also in the stored procedure, we are passing 2 parameters a start and end date. But that seems irrelevent to why some of the fields are not containing data like they should.
Why would some fields show no values at all, and some fields shows values?
Any ideas on how to correct this situation so data will show up for all the fields like they are suppose too?

Pleaase check the following :
1. Other than storedprocedure are you adding any tables to your report ? If so, check the links between your stored procedure.(Through Database Expert)
2.Write the following formula to find out whether the database fields contains values or not.
if isnull() or = " " Then
"This Field is Empty"
Else
Drag and dwop this formula in your report to get the field values.

Some Site Collection not showing up (even the system pages) after upgrade

Following http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263299.aspx I just did database upgrade from 2010 to 2013. Some of the site collections are not showing up. These are basic site collection with almost no custom code. Just bunch of list and libraries.

Yes , you need to proceed to change the authentication mode . According to your error message “Non-OAuth request. IsAuthenticated=True, UserIdentityName=, ClaimsCount=0” and “UserAgent not available, file
operations may not be optimized”, all of them can be caused by the authenticate. So make sure you have upgraded cleanly and effectively to Claims Based Authentication.

Some Thumbnail images not showing up in folders? just a icon

Just bought a Brand new Mac with i7 processor. It did not come with Lion installed though. So before doing anything I upgraded to the free Lion update. So here is the issue.
For some reason i cant view preview thumbnail images of some .ARW and .jpg files in some folders, while others I can. I made sure all the "view options" were set and everything. Also moved files to new folders. So here is what I did.
1. Reformated and Reinstalled Snow Leopard and put my .ARW files and the preview thumbnails show up in all folders with no issues. Then I updated to Lion again and now some show and some don't. The funny thing is that now files that did not show thumbnails the first time now does, and some that shown thumbnails now don't. Its different each time I install Lion OS
2. I removed the hidden .DS_Store files in these folders just to make sure those where not effecting it as well, but it did not do anything after a new one appeared.
Whats up with Lion? known bug? I did a search and did not hear about this issue yet? Am I the first lucky one?

I am having similar problems with viewing jpgs in preview / finder in 10.7... but only those that were create by either lightroom or photoshop ( LR 3 / PS CS4) after installing Lion... they preview fine in bridge and every other app.... Just not in Finder etc....
Very annoying!
If anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears.

Some album covers not showing up in iTunes artwork screensaver

I'm seeing a lot of similar topics so maybe there is no fix to this, but here goes anyways...
I just got my Macbook Air about a month ago so I have the newest OS and I check for updates frequently. Now all the music I have so far on my iTunes is music I ripped directly off CD's I own, not burnt copies but originals. Some of the artwork was missing and I corrected it already with the Artwork option in 'Get Info'. However when I check the iTunes screensaver there is ONE album cover that no matter what I try, it WILL NOT show up. It's starting to drive me crazy. Strangely enough it was the only CD my Superdrive had trouble reading, which I also had to google tirelessly and remedy.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this? It's just one image so it seems like it should be a quick fix, but I can't get around it. Help?

This happen sometimes (seldom) if the album art on one song in a album is corrupted.
Mark all songs from that album in iTunes at once or right click on Album in Album view
Open the info pane (Get info)
click the little Artwork window down right active and press backspace key to delete the Album Art from the songs.
Copy (drag&drop) the picture again in that little window
click OK and confirm the pop up
Then check again with the Album Art screen saver.

Some Menu Options Not Showing Up.

Hello out there. I have come across a Power Mac 8600/250. After checking the machine out I installed OS 9.1 that came with the computer. After installing 9.1 and powering back up I noticed some options in the drop down menus are not showing like: print, page setup, restart and a few other items. Every thing else seems to work all right, and it powers up fine. Do I need to maybe reinstall the OS?

Open the Finder's Preferences in the Edit menu and turn off the Simple Finder option.

When I connect iPod to computer & open iTunes, some menus do not show

I just got this new computer and loaded iTunes and downloaded all necessary updates. On my iPod, I have some TV shows and photos that I can view fine on the iPod. When I connect it to the computer and launch iTunes, the video and photo options do not show.
How do I get these to appear and I also do not want to wipe out any of the songs on my ipod? Please Please help

Some Artists do not show up on "Artist" list. Why?

When I look for certain artists on my iPod Classic, the artist does not show up in the "Artist" category, but does show up in the "Album" category. Why?

For the missing Artists on your iPod, make sure their tracks in iTunes are not marked as "Part of a compilation" in iTunes. You can do this by highlighting the track, right->clicking on them and choosing Get Info from the shortcut menu. When the window pops up, head over to the Info tab and make sure there is NO tick mark next to this option in the lower right hand corner. Lastly, sync the updated changes to your iPod if necessary.
